Personally I’m glad to hear that because during season one had personal issues that forced me to leave the game for a few months. So TY GW2!
Temporary content was (not is) content. If it is no longer contained within the container (the game of GW2 in this case) then it is no longer part of the contents of GW2.
Holiday events in GW1 were they still content? They both came and left.
While they were available, yes.
I haven’t seen anything to indicate that content removed from GW2 will be coming back.
Is the old TA dungeon path currently content in GW2 ?
True can’t disagree with that. But we ARE getting content.

And lets not forget GW1 was not open world its COMPLETELY different. When you have basically a full MMO of PURE instances rather then an OPEN WORLD it gets a bit easier to push out content. Only part of GW1 with more then 5 player at one time was the world hubs.
IDK if this is true then it shouldn’t happen because that is a huge abuse of power. But that is a BIG IF.
And we all know what will happen if this level of toxicity remains. Hello Dev Silence.
If a pair of vocal posters are enough to shut down an entire customer communication initiative, then…
…I honestly don’t know what to say.
A “pair” will turn into five, and that five will turn into twenty. Like information, this is how misinformation spreads.
Very well put. I personally think its great for people to see this thread so they can see WHY its so hard for ANET to communicate with us. WOW is the only response I have for how this thread started. If “whitenights” are respectful people then I hope this thread makes more of them. I have my issues with the game but I voice my opinion in a RESPECTFUL way. This post have been push to the top MORE from “whiteknights” then anything else and I’m sorry to put someone on the spot here but this ipan KID has to GROW UP almost all your post are misinformation and hate rants. Flytrap please look again at WvW/PvE MAPs etc… that you made a list of because if you can’t see the new content you are blind.
i like how you say we should be respectful and then go on to insult someone else hahaha.
Your 100% right I should not have insulted him by telling him to grow up (calling him immature) or calling Fly blind. At the same time I treat people how they treat others but that is no excuse to do that so your right. Sorry for raging a bit.
Still feel people shouldn’t spread misinformation.
(edited by Zoso.8279)
Playing the game missions with my guildies and buddies I started to think why couldn’t the cut scenes be like in GW1 where everyone could be seen in cut scenes. Whenever one of my friends would start one of their missions and cut scenes pop up I feel like I am not really in it because my toon is not in the cut scene. Understandably it would be a bit harder in GW2 because the way cut scenes are made but I always liked looking at my toons and toons of my friends in GW1 and be “Oh Oh look at me!” when I was in a group of 5.
Cant wait to see when Ring of Fire will be put into play. every time I see the map and look at Ring of Fire I start to salivate. Hope it is going to be as intense as Orr more of a (death trap if you afk the WP might become under fire and you die) type of map! Champions everywhere! Maybe bring back lore from GW1 would be nice to see. Charr area always nice to be around just because I always have flashbacks of GW1.

There’s no shame in having an opinion. But if you disguise your opinion behind posturing and insults, you just wind up looking like a kitten – and not the cute kind.

I also feel very strongly maybe a monthly poll or something not to excessive should be implemented to get the opinion of all of the GW2 community not everyone jumps on the forums I myself was not a very avid forum poster till recently.
Sorry if it is a bit out of topic for this post.
I will call out Anet on one thing though. Please please please give more insight into your design decisions, especially when you feel they will be initially perceived as unpopular. It will help massively if we as a community can understand your design decisions even if we don’t necessarily agree with them. This is specifically on you Chris being Design Lead and all.
agreed.
I think players have to also realize they have to look at what WE are doing WRONG. Many people attack developers “make this change” if it doesn’t happen they say “we are being ignored” maybe its not that your being ignored maybe its that your suggestion can not for whatever reason that YOU can’t see can’t be implemented because it affects OTHER aspects of the game. We have to remember that it is a domino effect one thing changes and many others change because since this is a MMO everything is linked together one way or another. Other issue many times people just don’t like to (((((READ))))) or it might be their reading comprehension skills that are laking. Things have been posted changes have been addressed and people still complain because they did not READ. TRUE developers are laking a bit on this part but if you look at current topics it is something they themselves recognize and are trying to fix. People still complain about communication but don’t try to add into what is being done at the moment with CDI or give the answer “why even bother?” <—- not constructive why even post? I agree with many here that developers have to be the pushing force in changing what a lot of the happening that are currently affecting our community but it is a two way road they feed off of us just like we feed off on them. Last, why I COMPLETELY understand the no future release info policy in play is because soooo many say “we can handle if plans get changed or canceled” just look at all the precursor topics proof right there why we CANT handle.
IDK about guild halls I think that could be a bit more difficult to structure i.e private instances but the alliance and /chat alliance feature would be GREAT! for all the reasons OP stated! Thank you sooooo much for starting this topic because I have been trying to get more awareness to this issue for a few days now! Hope it gets more people thinking and commenting!
People don’t feel like THEIR choice will be made so they attack the other players….. If you want to see selfishness look at all these players (You don’t vote like me your lazy/dishonorable/stupid/wasting time/blahblahblahblahbalh) welcome to a democracy. Your ideas aren’t the best just because they come out of your mouth. Follow the rules of the post (which is obviously something you can’t even do) stop trying to derail the conversation. Voice your opinion in another post.
——————-
SOME people annoy me trying to mask your selfishness as “good intentions” I won’t be starting an argument with anyone. Feel free to reply but don’t expect an answer. Follow the post discussion! 1 or 2 very simple. Stop trying to derail the conversation! ( I shouldn’t even respond to them but man that is frustrating!)
Lol that was awesome! #Respect! I like how you took your time dropping the water. lololololol
It is obvious that people are frustrated with the direction the game has been going for the last few years. There are many different point of views and some contradict themselves someone likes/dislikes something another person likes. We have to remember this game is for everyone not just a group. I think we are moving in the right direction. Your OP says it all. Baby steps. People felt there was a silence and no communication and here this pops up lets focus on this and I am sure we can move forward in a productive way I’m very optimistic. Lets focus on this and remember they are giving us a hand lets not take their arm. Lets try to focus on the post and the question that was asked.
No one is forcing you to do something that you think is pointless. So I would suggest not partaking in the CDIs if you think they are not going to bear fruit.
ChrisI feel for you, devs, you can’t do anything right XD
:P.
Bring on the CDI threads! (and inevitably the complainers.)
It’s all good. Looking forward to the CDI to. It’s been a lot of fun chatting this weekend though. Wish I had more time during the week, and thank goodness my wife is understanding.
Chris
Give her my thanks. She is a trooper!
Sticky dev posts at the top of discussion threads with Arenanet’s stance on the thread topic would be great, but only be of some value, if you keep them reasonably current. If you create them not only for the next 2 weeks, but for the long term.
From the past communication initiatives, I learnt that the dev attention to such things is only a few weeks. This is too short.
So, please either be committed to create and keep those posts current for the long term, or not create them at all. But if you abandon it after a few weeks, it is like all those other failed communication initiatives from the past: pointless, a waste of your time and a waste of our trust and expectations.

I rather have some respect system implemented where you can only obtain a specific commander icon or color by receiving honors from your peers. That way it’s easier to know that the commander is well known or trusted more than the other ones. WvW level is same as AP, means nothing other than you grinded it out just like gold.
Having an honor/respect system is different as it allows the community to decide and of course there maybe some people who’ll end up making others “vote” for them . However, it’s still a better system I think.
That is a really good idea! +1 or if not that exactly some form of this system.
(edited by Zoso.8279)
lol…so Anet will choose.
wow….this player-base is so passive aggressive. instead of stating what you want, you wait for them to not do what you want, so you can complain.
I think the community is stating what they want…. they all know the pros and cons of both decisions and they have weighted them both. Our community is kinda smart read all the posts. But hey maybe you know whats best? (passive aggressive) This is as far as I go if you have anything else to say thats fine but I won’t reply this post was not created for that reason. (shouldn’t even reply to you now but kinda annoyed me your comment)
@Colin great post so far hope you have your notebook out!
Some CDI ideas have been implemented look around the forum many players talk about it. It is understandable if you have a bit of distrust for the development team you feel that they hadn’t kept their promise but there are really cool posts atm that developers have been starting to try and bridge the gap between players and developers, check them out! I feel optimistic of the future. They need us just as much as we need them so I am 100% sure they are trying to make the situation better lets just try to work together so everyone gains.
I am really pushing alliances but haven’t gone anywhere and I understand just because I am the only one that wants it doesn’t mean it will be looked at :/ ill keep posting and keeping the topic alive! (In a respectful way)
The trolls took the day off. Things will be back to normal as soon as they log in.
Well then lets rally and make sure we keep OUR forums troll free or at least to a minimum. Constructive criticism/Opinions > hate comments and mindless raging.
I don’t want to sound holier then holy but nice people can “talk” just as loud as trolls.. Maybe? Kinda? Idk my personal opinion. I am a d**k too sometimes so don’t take it the wrong way please.
I feel like this would help alot but I think a follow up of you guys crossing things off the list for each thread once you feel a topic has been addressed in game would be helpful.
I agree to be able to see the progress. Or if not crossed off replaced with new ideas.
Going out for a bit, will be back shortly.
Chris
Take care brother.
Wow Colin I feel so bad for you. People really like to type but don’t like to read. Or maybe its reading comprehension. Like I said before I think its a good idea would give players an idea of what you guys see as points of interests and a general idea of things that can be changed in future updates.
its the fatigue man…catch ya some sleep
LOL!
Looking at all the different topics it looks like we are all coming to a unified agreement! Developers are actually finding middle ground with players! I can already feel the good vibes spreading through the forums! Hope it keeps going and eventually produce great updates that we all enjoy!! (Or i might be seeing things due to fatigue… Haven’t slept since coming home from work this morning)
I think this is a step forward to getting more information and letting us players know what is going on in the developers heads. General but key points I personally feel its a good middle ground.
If fear in the public was you guys/gals not paying attention to our suggestions I think this covers it.
(edited by Zoso.8279)
Everyone wants personal gain. They think ANET ignores forums when in almost every interview they make a reference to a “hot” topic. CDI asks simple request good to organize and give direction to the discussion and people STILL focus on what they themselves want. Two options in current CDI and people still manage to derail the discussion by adding 3rd 4th and 5th “options” We are working on how to better organize and people still raging about this and that and adding topics when we are working on organization. How can you be confused why developers don’t “listen” to you when you don’t make an effort to listen to them! I wonder how many people when taking a test go straight into writing and SKIP the directions….. Sorry for raging a bit but it is a bit frustrating to see some people trying to better the situation and others focus on just talking about what THEY think is important….. What happened can not be changed but we can still focus on the future.
CDI underway and people can’t follow the directions they want to give their 2cents or give a 3rd option that is why things get nowhere people don’t put the need of the community as a whole in front of what they personally think should be done…
says only to choose no topics and people STILL give topics… FOCUS PLEASE! that is why its almost impossible to communicate with the forum community.
Come on fellow posters please stick with the guidelines and vote:
Here are you options for now:
1: Anet chooses.
2: You list your number 1 topic and the one with the must number of votes wins. Please leave all other stuff for a different topic. It was made clear this thread was just for voting on how they select new CDIs. No need to start posting about other stuff. It is simple. Pick option 1 or 2. Everything else just clutters the thread.
Perfect!
I think the new CDI is going to be productive and respectful! I have high hopes and am feeling VERY optimistic!
WOW I love that everyone is taking a selfless approach to this topic! ANET picks them like many of my fellow players said that way we have better insight into what the development team and ANET is thinking about changing/upgrading. We have a more clear way of approaching new game suggestions and thing can be done a bit quicker!
The problem I see is very simple really, if you can craft precursors you can take the Legendary out of Legendary weapons. Ascended weapons i’m assuming were created for players to be able to craft and compete against players with legendary weapons. Ascended armor on the other hand can be debated but again can be crafted so ALL can make and won’t be an imbalance.
Can you explain what’s so legendary about grinding gold until you can buy a precursor???
A good precursor craft would be much more legendary: you could have to follow a very long quest that would take some time and some skill to complete. That’s better that the stupid “I’ll grind gold until I can make my legendary! Wo0t! 1’m such a sk1ll3d play3r” attitude, IMO.
Taking into account Ascended weapons being able to be crafted Legendary weapons are more of a skin then anything else so I don’t see a problem with them being able to be bought with gems other then being able to change stats i.e power/precision/conditon etc.
And even being able to be bought the price might push some to just work on other things till pre courser pops up.
So if I decided to put $400 of my pay into gems (Yeah, good luck…), bought Twilight, etc. outright… You would consider that a “Legendary”?
How about in game gold? If I put loud music on, my eyes glaze over from farming champions for 10 hours a day, legendary?
Earning an item through meaningful game-play would be “Legendary”. Deciding I had no better use for a portion of my paycheck would not be.
Could pretty much implement a bunch of challenges quite easily without creating additional content..
As a very poor example: Finish every path of every dungeon without a single member of your party dying. Participate in all major meta event world bosses without dying. (yourself). Complete x event, y event, z event chain without failing, or without x % of NPCs dying.
You get the picture.
“I did all this, and this is what I have to show for it. It was challenging, and whilst it took some time, it was far more entertaining than 2300 hours of champion farming.”
Totally
I got a better idea – Legendaries for one-time possible events. Why not commemorate things with a special item? Taking down Mordremoth the first time gives you a particular Legendary weapon, choose which one you want out of a set of like-themed skins. “Mordrem Tendril Staff” anyone? “This still-squirming vine was trimmed from the Elder Dragon Mordremoth during a heated battle.”
I like the way you think
if people could craft precursors then “legendaries” would be even less legendary.
I disagree. If precursor craft required some skill to get the ingredients (account bound, NO RANDOM kitten, AND skill required to acquire them through quests and challenges), then you wouldn’t see that much legendaries.
It would mean that if you are unskilled or not skilled enough, you won’t get one even after playing thousands of hours. I think this is what you guys are afraid of. You’d rather ask for the grind to be more long than more difficult. I think that’s sad…
Why do you have to turn this into a negative by assuming this or that? Grow up. All I’m saying is i’d rather see Legendaries be a long term goal rather then something anyone and their mother can do. IMO Legendary weapons are end game events of their own.
@Zoso, that is the double edged sword here … I would prefer a much less toxic atmosphere to begin with, where all dev’s feel welcomed to speak and share thoughts. That starts somewhere … but what surely doesn’t help is validate a toxic post …
And people should basically ignore an attack, or reduce impact of it by responding clear and sane to the possible valid points raised in it. Not go in a counter attack mode, further fueling the debate into an emotional one.
And I’m sorry but I don’t want to know if a person feels hurt, that is not a reason to communicate to anyone once you get past high-school. The thing that is important is whether or not the other person understands you, regardless if (s)he agrees.
And also, and it’s unfortunate, and I wouldn’t have said that above, but once Chris has a red tag on, he is no longer Chris… He is an authority figure from Anet, I mean, do you really think Chris would get all these suck up posts if he were just some normal person here? No… of course not… But with that also comes that people have a right to their opinion and voice criticism, as long as it is formulated in a respectful manner. That is the standard we are going for here right?
Well that Pizza delivery guy didn’t cross any lines, he was respectful and merely asked the question if Christ thought it to be weird that he had to be friendly and keep talking when he faces a customer as ‘a service provider’, and people from a gaming company also providing a service, were not… Legit question from my objective pov… That response from the Dev defence fanclub on the other hand, had so much ‘just kitten you simple pizza guy’ draped between the lines that it should just be ignored, like a lil kid throwing a fit for not getting a cookie b4 supper. Let alone see it validated…
Because in a sense the Pizza guy was right, it’s the reason we have this thread right? Because we think Anet needs to communicate more/better. (so that is point one). The other being, ‘are they held to a higher standard’, YOU BET! … Anet staff set the bar to what is acceptable, they express themselves in the way they want to be addressed to themselves… etc. and so on… so really, they are held to a higher standard than Joe Scrubby that customer that can just blab w/e, as long as he doesn’t cross the lines… which lines? well those set by ANet… see how that works…
And indeed, ANet has done a great job in the past, sometimes it slips a bit, but they do Care! As shown by their actions, and as long as you are actually willing to see that they do! … other companies aren’t always the same, depends a lot about the market they are in. But regardless, a company may be able to ignore their customer… yet, lowering oneself to the level of the customer is never an option! At least not in the companies I worked for in the customer service department, that respected themselves and their consumers.
I’m not sure if I take it to the extreme, I just feel very strongly about this, I have seen this spiral out of control in the case of mod behaviour on sites. And I have had numerous discussions about this ‘at work’, where w/e a customer says, you answer their questions with a
and pretend they are the best and most friendly customers you ever faced. I’m sorry but that is just how it works, and should work! Because what do you think communication will turn out if there isn’t somebody setting the standards and upholding them?
Again I agree with a lot of the things that you are saying makes complete sense and very well thought out. Like you I work in customer service and I know that when the customer is impolite you still have to smile and say please and thank you. Adding fuel to the fire is not a good way to go about in resolving the situation and true maybe it could have been done differently but when I am working I smile when I am NOT and I meet that same person in the street I have no obligation to smile and take the insult or rude behavior. He is doing this by choice and we should be grateful. Like you said we are trying to set a standard here in what is acceptable behavior and what isn’t and like you said as long as it is done in a respectful way then we can have a productive discussion. But with that same type of mindset then I guess it is a reason to communicate to anyone if someone’s feeling are hurt. I honestly did not take offense to the comment and even Christ said he was not trying to be offensive but honest. If i felt that it was an abusive post then i’d be right there with you commenting on how things should change. Again the whole point of this is to have a discussion with no “toxic” elements involved and I am truly happy that we both want the same thing a peaceful place to exchange ideas with the developers of the game that we ALL love and I think that is a very good thing.
With SO MANY comments on this I am starting to understand the view points of many players maybe there is a middle ground where just enough information is released that both sides can feel comfortable.
I think this post makes a good point. Now more then ever since tags will be used more often is seems. (only in WvW)
I have a new idea that I think will really shake things up. You can’t give us specifics, so I propose a smilie based status report. It would look something like this:
Balance Updates:
Map Updates:
Fractals: :P
Dungeons:
Super Adventure Box:I think knowing that new world bosses were smiley face + winkie face would make us all feel a lot better.
Maybe they should give a little more information without revealing to much both sides make good points BUT THAT SMILEY FACE!!! LMFAO!!!!!
and honestly a lot of the team who care deeply about Arena and the community are to scared to post because let’s be honest forums in general can be quite toxic.
I’m sorry, Chris, but this is neither a good nor acceptable reason to avoid the forums.
I work right now as pizza delivery. It really, really sucks. You can be delivering in a snowstorm, be two minutes late, and the customer won’t care. And they will berate you, withhold a tip, and complain to your manager.
And we take it. And we apologize, and we give them a free pizza and try to make the delivery a better experience next time. Because that person is a customer, and no matter how kittenty they are to us, we need their business.
….snip…
And that’s for a lowly pizza delivery job. You guys are so much higher up on the food chain.
Doesn’t it strike you as a little odd that the lowly pizza guy is being held to far higher customer interaction standards than the large corporation that has a critically acclaimed video game?
Do you do all of that for your customers on your free time? Off the clock? Does the accountant or payroll person at your company’s corporate HQ drive out to the customer’s house to apologize?
I ask because dev posts on the forums are not part of their work-load. They do it on their own time. The forums are not part of their job. It is perfectly reasonable for someone who is not paid to interact with often irate or rude customers to opt to not volunteer their free time to do so.
You took a customer service job, and work directly with customers. Developers are not customer service reps any more than are assembly workers at a Nike factory.
You put it much better than me.
Chris
Realy Chris? You do realise that there are objective smart people reading this thread, and forming an opinion on how Anet views their fans right?
Not only that, but you also do realize what kind of response you validate here, as far as respect goes on the forum, as well as what is ‘acceptable behavior’… And it’s not just that I find your stance here rather offensive… but…
Geez, I love all of Chris’s sassy answers—he takes the words right out of my mouth half the time
I have no clue how you guys can slog through all the gunk here to find the constructive posts, but I really do appreciate the simple existence of this thread!
Sorry if they are coming across as sassy. just trying to be honest and a bit more human and less water of a ducks back as many of you have said i should try harder with.
It is actually much less frustrating to just say it like i see it. I hope though that this approach is taken in the spirit it is intended and not in a negative way.I tend to be like this on CDIs.
Chris
Pff, no! They’re brilliant! Haha, I love reading how bluntly honest they are
Believe me: I certainly do not take them negatively; I also think most others would agree with me. Keep it up!
Good because i am honestly not trying to be a naughty junior feline.
Chris
In a position where you represent authority you might have to try a little harder, you set the example, set the bar of ‘the acceptable’. It comes with the territory, and you need to be aware of it, every time you choose to respond, you will have to weigh your words before you click that [reply] button. You may not be able to change the tune on the forums, but validating it is even worse …
I’ll probably be infracted for this post, heck I may even be banned for a while, but there was nothing in that guys post that disserved that response, nor your validation of it. He was basically saying, “if you provide a service you will need to listen to your customers or you will go out of a job”. And he dang right, regardless of whether ‘you’ put time in here, that is your choice. But when you do, please realize from what position you do so, and with which consequences/rule-set that comes… you make your own community, set the standards, and get the one you disserve…[/quote]
I agree since they are developers they should “watch what they say” i.e nothing hurtful or abusive but I think your taking it to an extreme. I like to know that the person that is reading and communicating with me is not a computer but a person who also FEELs hurt when people attack him and shows emotions happy/sad from comments. What gives us the right to attack and expect them to take it in the chin? They are humans too and we should be glad that they are even talking to us! Cant say the same with other companies.
WvW got EotM
EOTM isn’t WvW. It’s a PvE Karma Train map.
The community is turning it into that… That is something I don’t understand people attack others for farming because this or that and turn a WvW experience into a HUGE farm train instead of playing it as a competitive map. Now I don’t have a problem with it personally I love to farm but don’t get mad because people play the game a certain way. If you want to experience it like a WvW rally people to attack and defend keeps.
(edited by Zoso.8279)
>Implies EotM is WvW content
>obviously never played WvW
See…. Thank you for making my point….
I’m just trying to point out that people always like to think of the things they don’t have rather then the things they do. Its good to give constructive criticism and want to make things change for the better but people have to understand its not an easy process to evolve an MMO. There are a lot of different elements that come to play when changing a live world and we have to take into consideration that there are people who haven’t done or explored or WvW or done many things that others have. People complain just to complain again constructive criticism is good but when you only WvW 24/7 and only focus on the WvW updates and get mad that there are not more then your forgetting about the other hundreds of players that do dungeon runs or PvE event that benefit from other updates that have taken place. Im just trying to say we have to have a bit of perspective. ANET developers can’t focus on every aspect of the game every single time. Its baby steps, one thing at a time. When updates take place there are trial period that have to take place to check for bugs if the event fun and many other things we as players don’t take into account sometimes. Me included!
Living story add a lot of content to the game not only does it add story but new areas to explore and new items to obtain. Sometimes I feel that people just complain because they are not getting what they want in that exact minute. WvW got EotM (people complain WvW doesn’t get any attention) PvP getting worked on atm (people complain only PvE gets content) Dungeons get FotM (people say they don’t work on dungeons). Now the last one with the dungeons is the tricky one because I feel that they can do a bit more but my point is this people are never happy with what the have they always want more and when they get it they STILL want more. Be happy. Updates keep coming and obviously ANET cares about its players we are the life blood stop being so narrow minded people please! Enjoy what we have MORE WILL COME!
Taking into account Ascended weapons being able to be crafted Legendary weapons are more of a skin then anything else so I don’t see a problem with them being able to be bought with gems other then being able to change stats i.e power/precision/conditon etc.

You don’t have to farm just play the game. And you kinda proved my point about buying it….. Legendary weapons should be long-term goals
(edited by Zoso.8279)
@Danikat you make a good point long-term goal/prestige item.
Some of you need to realize they can’t speak of certain things because of competition. Other companies steal ideas all the time.
I have to admit, that i did like Colin’s blog posts, because they gave a “roadmap” to where the game is headed, but some stuff was delayed or never came to fruition, so i can understand why he doesn’t do them anymore.
However, the things they are allowed to speak about, has been very sparse on other areas of the game, which leads people to believe that there isn’t anything being worked on. Season 2 & Feature Pack 2, is pretty much all the information that we have gotten since the Chinese release. This is great for people that like Living Story, but not so much for others.
So far, the Feature Pack 2 info has been very disappointing to WvW players. Players were left in the dark since the CDIs on WvW, then they find out that there’s a price hike on separate colored tags, a siege disabler, and a golem mastery update. Did these 3 features really need to be hidden from the public?
Not only this, but more info from Gamescom interviews feels as though the devs aren’t going to focus on existing dungeons anymore, since it would take too long to restructure or whatever, and they would prefer to add a fractals dungeon instead, which is understandable.
http://youtu.be/umpR6LhBhW4?t=4m17sAgain, this left dungeon players in the dark for over a year(?), but did they really need to be? The QOL changes can’t be talked about at all? This is why players are getting frustrated, because Anet doesn’t talk about the small things that could be talked about, such as changes to the Party/Group system, or the “Meta End-Game” (aka Berserker playstyle), or Rewards vs. Risk, etc. It doesn’t necessarily have to be the major projects.
I agree somethings can not be shared for whatever reasons but it seems that many players just want a bit more information. Regardless I hope this issue gets resolved because I love GW2, it is my MMO ever since GW1 and I want to see it keep growing and i’d like to be along for the ride!
I completely agree with this post.
