Even as a smallscaler, I’d say that removing the AoE cap would be the worst thing that could happen to this game. Changing it to sth that makes more sense would be smarter.

I heared about hydromancy as you can get tons of chills with snowleopard, axe and owl. Keeping the opponent chilled 100% of the time. Yet again, that is 1vsX. And I was looking for an alternative for my elementalist in a party.

Would be appreciated.

When I say zergbusting I always mean roaming in a 5-men and kiting to death killing overextenders, as also spiking the flanks. I have good experiences with the ranger on a balanced trapbuild (20/30/20/0/0), with SB and S/H for grouproam. It just doesnt seem to help the group as much as an elementalist would…

I am thinking about getting a million gold to craft myself an Apothecary gear and was wondering how viable this was away from 1vsX, but for team skirmishes in WvW also, as for zergkiting and busting.

Currently I am maining my ele again. I prefer the ranger though, but I just cannot see as much support for a group with it.
Suggestions? Experiences? Canines seem to die very very fast so a polar bear could be an option.

Heavily hoping for some input from Batto and Xsorus too :-).

I really hope so! The teamfights I had against Impact Eu and SOE were truely the best WvW-Exp I had in a quite big couple of weeks.

Its due to people realising that eles can come up to -93% of immobilize, cripple and chill duration. Making it impossible to kill them.
One key to that is rune of melandru.

I forged one Dusk and had to spend another 100g on the second. Live with it m8.

Would be a great thing if there were such things as trapwires, traps, guardianwalls, entangles etc. But as there arent, you cannt do anything about one thief with your 30 ppl.

That a class was nerfed a lot does not mean it was nerfed enough.
Its not like all classes start at 100% and get downgraded. Some start at 500% like mesmers.
Before sb says sth. I mained a mesmer at release and found it utterly boring due to opness.

There is no difficult PvE content in this game. As PvE is darn easy by definition.

Step 1: Engage HGH Engi
Step 2: He drops his elite, as it is his only way to master his fotm build
Step 3: use mobility to kite and lure him away from elite
Step 4: RTL into elite and burst it
Step 5: watch him run as he does not know wtf to do without his 180s CD elite

This works for 99% of bandwagon HGH baddies. If you happen to meet a good one, then R.I.P..

Same for mesmers. Let them waste glamours and run away. Come back and try to kill.

I had a skirmish with about 7 enemy players, had 4 guys running with me. we downed some of them but the had thieves and revived them in stealth. When i had alot of abilities on cooldown i was jumped by a thief that used steal to hit me for about 4k damage, cloak and dagger for another 4 k and then hit me for 7 k with backstab all in about 2 seconds. i had about 5k hp left which he easily finished off while i had no abilities left due to cooldown. I dont see where skill is involved in being able to do that kinda damage in 2 seconds

You said it yourself, you had your abilities on cooldown.

If a thief had no intiative left and his utilities on cooldown he would be met with a fast defeat.

Thank god only HS spammers run out of Ini.

No, next week i will arrange an RS+Gan alliance, just to annoy you.

For the record: there Is no dungeon I did not clear first try without any knowledge about it with my PvP team.

And my comment is just about you asking to delete the core factor of this game. As you did not write t/sPvP but just PvP.

Auramentalist needs balancing, because it is too strong. And this is independent from tPvP.

For churning earth: it is easy to avoid, if you are not stunned, dazed, out of energy, rooted, etc. But you dont know that, as you only fight mobs with a firm and repetitive pattern you just happen to memorize after 100 runs.
