The thing is, it is not an individual. I was on that server and it is induced by reknown commanders and guilds.

I have been running a PD hybrid for 5 weeks now and the only thing I cannot beat are full burst DD thieves that play better than me.

PD is a hybrid set and some celestial pieces in the armor fit it well to round up some defensive stats while getting critical damage.
You play that set with full direct or full condi and you lose potential.
PvP is not pure math. Mitigation will benefit the complemental conditions and conditionremove buffered by higher direct damage.
You dont want to go with divinity though, but with Traveler. Movmentspeed and 10% condidurration > some stats.

Unlike direct DD builds, PD can use every single stat on celestial. It just makes you too defensive so I would set a limit of HP and toughness you want to achieve and swap the rest vs Zerker or Rampager.

There is a guild on Fergussons Crossing called Reich [SS]. As a german I can tell that I find this highly offensive. Reich is directly referred to the time when the National Socialists ruled the country and the SS was special operations troop that was involved in many massakers, barbaric lynching, deportation of jews and the killing of 6 millions of jews and 4 millions of other people in camps of concentration.

I just do not know how to report this ingame but I think it should be of common interest to end this.

Actually, I am not playing on a EU server during this matchup. The queues together with disconnects (so again queues), made me explore the US meta for a week or two.

You’re trying to be competitive in a casual game mode. Wvw is something you hop in when not pve-ing or spvp-ing. There was only ever competitive play in gamemodes where everyone started on the same ground with the same options, i.e. not wvw, maybe a bit on gvg, but that’s about it.

Well, I guess it is competitive, as all contestants start at the same level of skill and knowledge about the games meachanics and do everything intuitively and dont just spam whatever the leader shouts in TS.

All I do is offer duels. I like sparring. The better the opponent the better the fights and the more I learn.

My WvW team has recently requested my change from a Mesmer to a Thief. While the support of the Mesmer is still needed, our team lacked severely in damage (most of us were either support or bunker built).

My guild leader plays a Hammer Warrior. He and the other Warriors and Guardians play the frontline. While he and the rest of the guild pushes through an enemy group, I skirt around the side and pick off the stragglers, whittling down the enemy numbers quickly. When I finally rejoin my guild, I’ll look for any players my guild leader has knocked down and finish them off. He now jokes that his tooltip should read:

“Backbreaker: Knock down your foe. Summon [a thief] to finish off your target.”

Thieves are not well suited for frontline offense or defense, they’re skirmishers. While that often implies “solo class,” they play a necessary role in “herding” enemy forces and picking off the weakest of the pack – like wolves do.

How come Warhammer in its late state did not lagg in 200+ battles? It also had better combatlogs, more skills, more cooldowns, higher aoe caps and is from 2008.

I have to keep it on a polemic level, this is the internet.
But I agree, I should not and usually do not judge a group from the actions of some members. Anyhow this is what happens in the forums. Few vocal ones like me create an impression about the collective. That is why I am aiming for a more polite tone in the MU threads. In the end people will reduce you to your attitude in the forums and a bad one is easier remembered than a good one.

I do not have any issues with you guild in particular.
Just review DanKs post for example in the last few matchups. Also those of other FURYs. You will notice a pattern.
In fact there are plenty of people in your guild I have skirmished with for the last 12 months of this game and enjoyed every matchup vs them. It is as matter of attitude of some that culminated in a 6 page long guildclash with TUP some weeks ago that changed my mind a bit.

And I am not saying that I am any different of this. I am a childish and emotional diva that hates to die ingame and will always rage and flame before coming to a more settled discussion after an unfair whipe.
But I know that very well and obviously am working on my forum attitude. What turned to be good amount of work when people jump into a thread at its end to throw mud about things that happened days ago. And did not even happen as described
Also he cant expect to tell half of the truth of a situation and claim laughter at failed gank when we just tried to engage your three times as big group after you wanted to zerg our uplevelled member and failed at it, without me pointing out the real character of the situation.

Oh I dont say this because I think my opion matters to you, but because I know it.

All the GvG 11111111111 vs 1111111111 is for reputation. And the “we roam ‘smallscale’ 20ppl no pugs” is to make yourself a name. You want to be known and respected. Otherwise you would just shut it and play the game instead of taunting, whining and flaming in the forums.
The cries for balanced numbers in the forums are just to justify your whipe in case anybody thought they wiped you fair and square.

Look what you did here again. The thread was peaceful, respectful and full of thanksgiving and apologies if anybody went ragemode.
The week was over and people were showing gratitude to eachother.

Just until the FURY whiningsquad arrived to wail and taunt.

Finally we got rid of those sticking rallybots!

Sadly I haven’t seen much of Kodash this week except for BAN whom I have great respect for. Oh and Buka trolls slowing members of our group down and spam /laughing when we get away from ganks.
Anyways have fun in whatever league you go to and hope you win the new finisher or whatever awesome reward you get for winning.

I laughed at you well deservedly as you tried to 20vs1 our uplevelled warrior when you crossed his path and I could only save him by using all my shadowsteps and stealthing him.
You ppl running away afterwards as the 20 vs 1 turned into a group of roamers engaging 11111111111 PvTers made me giggle so much that I implemented the laughter ingame.

You were the only guildgroup that did not run past loners btw but cc’ed them to death.

PVT heroes stubbornly running to a keep even if they outnumber now is getting away from gank? Ok, lessons learned.

I respect(ed) Fury but to be honest, the amount of flame and whine you put into this and every other matchupthread is sadly changing that.
The only other situation I met a FURY was on patchday abusing Chaosstorm on mesmer, next to our EB garrison. He tried to pull that grief off on me and after he died he released too fast for me to throw a blueprint on his body.

Gl on french server. I bet many of you speak that language.

I have confirmation that there were massive transfers to the “top” servers in each league, as most casuals PvXers want the best rewards possible.
Expect this to be very imbalanced.

I would love to see an honest post where we get told tha:
-balancing never is going to be happening for WvW, but only for tPvP
-that skilllag is not possible to be fixed
-that there never will be an incentive for skilled play instead of zerging (“casualfriendlyness”)
-that Wvw will never be prioritized content
-the hardware is at its limit and no improvements are to be expected regarding performance

Because I know all of them are true and admitting all this would actually bring new trust into this relationship.
