I’m looking for an active PvX guild from TC (NA).

More focused on PvE, but i’ll do PvP and WvW too.

I have a level 80 guardian full geared in exos and with ascended weapons and trinkets, i have 4 sets. I have a warrior too but she is not ready yet.

I have 5k AP if that is important to you.

I run AC, SE1-3, CoF 1 and TA up+fw, and Fractals but not every day (PR is 25).

My timezone is UTC -03:00.

I can represent 100%.

How do i get these weapons?

Why do they have those strange names?

Allow US, players to decide for ground target or not on the consecration skills, forcing people to use this ground target crap is wrong.

PvP is a joke right now, some classes/professions are ridiculous OP (thief, necro), they deal so much damage that not even playing as a bunker guardian i was able to survive.

I’ve tried to go as a guardian focused on burning, it deals damage yes, but it is not even close to thieves or necros or mesmers, they are literally melting people left and right.

It’s not even fun anymore : \

You can’t anymore because you will have all of them unlocked (at level 80).

But you can only have 3 trait trees active right now, they will be full, but only 3.

This is terrible and some changes for guardian are awful.

You can’t use unscathed contender with master of consecrations.

Consecration skill are only ground targeting.

Only 3 trait trees available.

+10% damage while under the effects of retaliation. #giant facepalm#

Please, at least put one more karma vendor to sell obsidian shards.

Only the vendor at Balth temple is kinda frustrating.

i won’t use laurels or relics to buy obsidian shards and SW is a pain.

500-600 when i had 180-200 before.

This is horrible for PvP and dungeons, my skills takes 2.5 to 3s to use.

But be prepared to wait for like 40min or 1 hour.

98% of the people always want fast runs, and that means level 80 + experienced (know the path and bosses) and full exotic.

It is always the same thing, “waa, i have 500000 hours into this game and there is nothing to do anymore!”.

I just want a guild with active players, no 2 or 5 players on-line most of the time, at least 16 or 20 and 40 or 50 in guild missions and on weekends.

With people willing to teach some dungeon paths.

I run AC, SE 1-3, CoF 1-2, TA up+fw. I’m not an elitist ultra speed run player, but i do enjoy fast runs but i can go for slow runs if people need. I’m always willing to help and do whatever you guys need (WvW – mostly roaming – , PvP – i’m only good at Courtyard though, lol – PvE, casual and etc.)

I love active guild chats and people that group up for world bosses or at least Teq.

Please just let me know (in-game or through here) if you think i’m a good person to join your guild, i’m tired of playing this game alone.

So, this is the second time that this happens.

I was on Frostgorge Sound and the Jormag event was starting and that change map prompt appears, you know , the one about few players on the map. And for the second time, i’ve lost the event because i’ve accepted this map change, i was put on another map with the event already done.

This isn’t fair at all, is there any way to change this?

Err, i don’t understand why the aggressivity.

This is a MMO after all, it is always nice to gain a compliment once in a while and i didn’t craft the GS only thinking about showing off or something like that, jesus.

So, i crafted the Foefire’s Essence and i’m using now for 4 days i think.

But i’m starting to regret it.

I wanted because of the look, because i wanted my character to use something expensive and hard to get and because i wanted people to look and comment and say: “hey, nice GS!” “wow, that is an amazing GS, can i see it? ”

But no, people just don’t give a kitten , but if i was wearing a Sunrise ( i wouldn’t go for Twilight because it doesn’t fit for my guardian [personal thing] ), things would be different.

I think it’s because the ascalonian GS and Cobalt are kinda similar you know, one is blue with a ghost fog/flame and the other one has a very well done (imo) blue flame effect and then people kinda don’t see anything amazing or nice about the Foefire.

Now i feel like i just wasted time and i should have put the GS to sell for 470g.

All i want is a guild willing to teach people some of the dungeon paths and with patience if you don’t go too well. But it seems impossible to find, every single one just want you to know every single path like the back of your hand and run in 3min or something.

Reading gw2dungeons.net and watching videos can only do so far.

And every one of the guilds that i’ve being part till now, always lied when they said they would run dungeons with non-exp people or have a little bit of patience to teach.

I run AC, CoF 1-2, TA up+fw, SE 1-3 and i do pretty well, i have the necessary gear and i use food buffs.

How do i find a friendly guild that teach dungeons and have guild missions? That guild sub-forum doesn’t work, i’ve made a new topic in there but i know that it will die without a response.

I guess OP is one of those afks and now he is crying because he found his character dead on the water because of the fear attack.

You don’t stay close to him, you just hit him when he is vulnerable, and you will always have a lot of guardians with condition removal and conditions converted to boons when facing this boss.

I go with PTV gear and trooper runes, with my guardian.

Eh, so this profession is very useful right, they can provide 25 stacks of might and that OP ice bow.

As a guardian i feel like, kinda useless tbh.

What kind of boons i will provide for my team now? Regen? Retaliation? Swiftness? #facepalm#

I have protection, but try to go for fast dungeons runs with hammer and see what happens (protip, your chances of getting kicked are high, unless you are on a high level fractal).

Might was something that was so nice to be able to give to your party members, now i have what? Aegis and Blind? Aegis can be useful but everyone knows that more power = fast dungeon run and one block won’t save you everytime.

Why one class is allowed to be so powerful?

And just fyi, i’m not bad as a guardian.

This is beyond annoying and should be fixed right now.

1 – When you create a LFG, if someone enters your party and then leave right after, your LFG is removed. #facepalm#

2 – “Supressed message” or something like that. It happens because you are forced to create the LFG again (see reason number 1) thus you need to write or copy/paste the info again, you are punished for something that wasn’t your fault AT ALL. #doublefacepalm#

Thief has almost perma-stealth and they usually takes 70% of your health with their annoying invisible backstab.

And when you start doing something against them, they vanish again with the ridiculous stealth which is extremely broken imo, and they appear like 100 meters away, safe and ready to backstab you again.

I want scale 50+ fractals daily and forced solo Arah as daily too.

Don’t waste salvage kit on rares, sell them, they sell for 25s minimum always.

Run dungeons and buy the 210tokens exotic weapons and then salvage them, the chance of GoEs is higher and you can get Globs of Dark Matter too.

My character didn’t earn any experience points from leveling Armorsmithing!

The skill level of the Armorsmithing were increasing and it was ok, but the experience that my character should earn, she didn’t!

And you can gain like 8 lvl while crafting iirc.

She is 80 already and i would like those 8 SP. What the hell?

It is because i’m 500 in Weaponsmithing already? HELP!

I agree with you OP, PvP is a kittening mess, and as a kittening mess, it only works in the Courtyard map, there i can do something, i can kill people and
everything is fair, on the other maps, it is just luck.

It’s very, very easy to trait Speedy Kits (and very easy to quickly change back to a different trait) and maintain perma-swiftness. Plus, there’s generally no need for a base run speed increase; it’s already way, way easy to avoid combat and maintain +25% or +33%, for MOST classes anyway.

Guardians need a buff for speed badly, being a turtle while eveyone else is running like the wind is horrible.

Because this is how drops works in this game OP, junk 98.9% of the time.

If you want good stuff, go for dungeons and fractals, you gain gold and tokens to buy exotics and you gain relics to buy, idk, obsidian shards.

It’s funny, they censor me for some hamrless comment on another topic, but this they don’t give a kitten about it.

Same thing happened to me. I had the daily and the rewards/loot and then DCed and i and a lot of other people appeared in Fields of Ruin (???) and we still had the daily to be done and no loot, i had 3 rares.

That’s why i’m not wasting my time with those world bosses anymore aside from Teq because that is 2g free and you gain more loot.

I’ve played a lot of MMOs and gw2 has the worst leveling grind of them all imo.

I have 3 lvl 80s and that last 80 was such a kitten drag I almost gave up on it.
It’s so kitten boring. I would literally pay for instant 80, and I hated that feature in WoW.

Not sure what gw2 you have been playing lol.
Levelling in this game is easy as hell. I have 16 lvl 80 characters and currently working on 8 more for HoT. Once you level that many characters we will talk

I agree with you, but a lot of people will say that is extremely easy to gain EXP and that you are lying or something like that because you can’t say one bad thing about their “perfect” game.

But you have Tomes of Knowledge from daily rewards and from PvP and you can try to craft your character to 80 or at least to lvl 50 then go for areas lvl 50.

Use consumables too.

Saying that high level fractals are easy, is pure bullkitten.

If you want more challenge, go solo all Arah paths and fight champions on high level areas and try to take a keep or tower alone on WvW.

So, you’re saying that after completing the WHOLE game map, in the end i’m awarded with 2 items that will make me poor and frustrated? Really? This is my reward for completing the whole map?

I have 2 gifts already and i’m returning to the game (i’m level 80 with my main already, which i have deleted 10 months ago, and working on world map completion again) and i’m reaching the 100% map completion again. But i know that i will be rewarded with those two gifts that can be only used to craft a weapon that costs TON of gold and time and that are extremely stressful to craft if you don’t have a lot of GOLD, time and a lot of friends for some activities.

The thing is, not everyone wants to craft a #cough# legendary weapon.

Can we have another option to use those gifts? Like, idk, another thing that doesn’t cost us 1500g and months to make?

It is not something crucial or super important, but it would be nice to have this.

No, it needs easy stuff actually, some dungeons paths and FotM are too hard.
