EBay has fallen from rank 12 to a predicted rank 20 at the end of this match.

It would be upsetting if they bumped up a server that’s been down here forever just in time to deny them a chance at transfers.

I, for one, just want to have a dialogue reopened between servers. Bottom tiers are lucky to have a thread at all on the fan site.

As the other threads will suggest, getting in a party will improve your chances. Ideally a full party with all you doing high sustained damage throughout the fight.

If you’ve taken these steps then I don’t know what to say.

Once had 50% of the participants wiped while loading in.

This is something the WvW community has been requesting for a long time.

I wonder if they have to retool scaling a bit for the change. The number of lvl 2 alts with full guard stacks will be hilarious once WXP is merged.

Same issue on Devona’s Rest. Miasma stayed maxed. No group effort rewards but Group Effort IV announced its success at around 400 saved.

The dulfy map is now up to 40 locations and now has included pics for each location in order to ease the first time you look. You can get them in one run once you have a basic idea of where they are.

That’s 41-43 a day in exchange for an hour a day. If the potions are worth it to you than an hour isn’t too bad.

like i said, i think they are looking to your WvW history to decide what server you belong to.
If this is the case, it means hopping serves will be pointless, unless you can contribute enough in time to make you shift to your new server’s reward.

If its how i say, i think its good. As far as season rewards go, you can only get credit for where you have done most of your WvWing

If they are looking at your career history to determine your home server that could make things interesting. Devona’s might get half a thousand of its wayward sons and daughters back. Though they might have been gone too long already.

The meta can be achieved from exclusively playing on EotM. There is now zero repercussion whatsoever to stacking servers. Ghost servers will only bleed out all the more quickly due to this.

Not everyone with ties to other servers is actively spying. Some people simply enjoy getting a chance to meet new people and a chance to square off against their guildmates in combat without the kitten set of stat choices in PvP.

Why do players in this game have such a problem listening to orders? In games such as Eve Online, if a Commander tells you to do something people actually listen.

In EVE there are meaningful consequences to failure. If you had to risk the need to completely regear every time you died in guildwars 2 then people might start taking matters seriously. I’m not saying I want this changed by any stretch of the imagination, but 1.5s in terms of a personal repair fee is easy to laugh off in comparison to being responsible for losing your corp billions and billions of ISK.

If it only existed as an overflow lower pop/morale servers simply wouldn’t have access to the content.

Half dead servers ~cough~ may see this as a way to have some fun even if their home can’t put up a fight alone. It may actually produce complete no-shows on the standard maps.

Sometimes you might opt to fight alongside strangers rather than fight alone on a borderland.

Ok, so I logged in briefly on Friday morning and saw that I rec’d the achievement chest, but did not open it. I log in today (first time since Friday) and the achievement chest is gone, but the key still remains.

I have not moved servers , so it is not issue 1 – did anyone else have their chest disappear? And is this something that is being looked into as well?

Are you logging in with the same character you did when you got the chest popup?

Well, my guild is/was having fun on ET’s bl, and I got a bit carried away.. as usual..

You could call it casual WvW at its finest. I believe I went through over 200 blueprints; by the end of it, my arms were so sore that they were stuck holding imaginary siege..

We jumped into second place last night for a min while I was commanding on DR and as of right now we are in second place ahead of DR by 4k.

Judging by the current DR situation, we might finish in second. But I don’t think we have a chance of beating GoM.

GoM is still upset about “how” DR placed 2nd in the final week of the WvW Season. Let me repeat. We aren’t upset that you DID place 2nd, but rather HOW you did it. We don’t care if ET places 2nd, we don’t care if ET places 1st “as long as they don’t do what DR did”. We just want to make sure that DR places last and not even be close.

So what exactly were we supposed to do last week? sit quietly in our corner and do nothing…

Im starting to feel kind of silly about commenting on GoM’s class last week with the passive aggressive attacks this week.

Obviously we should have been content with 8th place instead of fighting for 7th.

Not saying that it was intentional, but it did happen. GoM spent so much time trying to fight AR’s new teams that they didn’t have time to respond to the secondary threat.

AR spent their time tearing GoM down from first to get the spot themselves. DR decided to keep GoM down in order to climb up to second. Wasn’t enough time to push for first so I’m assuming we went about keeping second place secure by bullying your border while your morale was low.

We’ll just have to see how this matchup plays out.

The karka event was a gigantic debacle, there’s a reason why we haven’t seen such rewards since.

A berserker LB ranger makes an incredibly effective sniper. You’re not going to do much in a battle of two groups diving through each other and chasing tails, but you are one of the best tools for removing their best sources of combo fields. Get used to rapidly spotting elementalists.

Basically this. Put together a firing squad of zerk rangers nestled in the backline and watch targets drop.

If Spvp offered more than a handful of stat combinations I would use it often to test builds. More often than not it’s like test driving a dirtbike in order to choose what SUV to purchase.

Anet still has to figure out what to do with Rangers, right now Ascended anything only effects 60-70% of a Ranger’s damage output. This will compound with Ascended armor, because our Pets do the balance of our damage and aren’t effected by a Rangers gear.

Victory comes to the servers that want it and believe they can get it. Morale translates directly to numbers/coverage.

Sorry DR but after the BRL mesmer tried to pull the die at gate stunt we decided to keep hills. You need to teach them how to hide in a keep properly and don’t res them if they die at the gate.

I’ll see if BRL guild leader has a comment. I can say though, that during this timeframe there was no organized WvW event/showing for the guild.

Yeah, the Dragonite is the tricky one. Especially if you’re on a low pop server or lower tier WvW server. I was lucky enough that I have commanders on nearly all times of the day and am able to join up in TS and follow them to victory and loot.

Honestly the best place I’ve seen that drops Dragonite is from dungeon runs or Temple runs. This would involve WvW only players to journey outside that foray though.

Yeah, I basically slink off every now and then to swoop in on the last stage of a temple on a different server. That or I go poke the MK II golem since it can be solo’d no matter how dead your PvE scene is.

There really is no excuse for someone in WvW to not be able to craft Ascended Weapons and Armor.

You get the mats from killing the Lords.. you get the mats from taking the camps… you get mats from salvaging the hundreds of greens and blues you compile while collecting bags. you get heavy bags with the more mats. You get gold.. Not to mention all of the maps for WvW are littered with the gathering nodes you need for crafting as well.

To say you don’t have the means to get these things is ludicrous. To use the excuses that you don’t zerg, you like to scout, or you use all your gold on siege is just an excuse. If you really wanted to get the Ascended stuff, you’d take 30 minutes or more and aim at the mats you need.

I have 32 Dragonite Ore.

I play 3+ Hours of wvw a day.

I’ve crafted no ascended.

I have 19 stacks of Empyreal fragments.

I have MAYBE 10 Dark Matter. so much exos from wvw rite

Take 3 gold and go buy some very cheap Exos on the TP. You can find some for under 1 gold. Salvage and you’ll find some dark matter…… I spent 5 gold the other day on this as I needed about 10 dark matter to finish my Ascended Weapon. Bought 6 exotics, salvaged and ended up with 15 Dark Matter.

Take a quick WP to Orr and grab some Jewelery Boxes with your Karma. You’ll get more karma, gold, and Obsidian Stones. Now go take your stacks of Empyreal and craft them into Empyreal Stars…

I mean.. C’mon. Again, just excuses. I will admit that the Dragonite Ore is the one thing that can be more tricky to pile up on as you need to take Keeps to get that. I play WvW for far less than 3 hours a day though and can easily jump in and take 2 or 3 keeps with a group that is already doing that very thing.

I will say that strictly PvE players complain about the scarcity of empyreal fragments, so we are somewhat spoiled in that regard.

It seems that if you want ascended gear in a timely manner you will have to vary your playstyle… not strictly a bad thing… but it feels like a grind if you don’t enjoy PvE.

AR, keep in mind that there are still a few days in this match up, so nothing is final. Yes, it is fun to be in first(but it has been a long time since we have been in this position, and there are no guarantees it will become a habit), and on reset we were getting hammered, we have to do better.
It isn’t as if we are suddenly first in Gold League. Win, if we do, with grace and humility. Both DR and GoM have given us a superb match up this week, and I applaud both servers.
