this is how teleport skills work in gw2 and all teleport skills work like this
Staff is mainly condition wepon also a defence wepon so it shood have like 10% daze chance on nb 1 skill similar to 20% you get from chaos strom I know it might seem op but 10% is not so much.
Scepter nb 1 shood inflict confusion again on chains second it will not be so powerful as it was in betas beacose confusion dmg is been lowered 50% in pvp/wvw an it will bring wepon back to game beaocse its fairly slow wepon so it hsood be rewarding.
Phantasm defender shood stick around you not run at enemy and shood be aout of shatter list.
I hope no 1 will get mad at me for posting it but its only my understanding what shood be done. Ohh and I allmost forgett nullfield shood remove atlas 2 condis per sec.
the trait thing I dont think but stealth stacking from different skills I agree with you different stealth skills shood not stack with each other similar to mesmer stealth were if you use new stealth skill before last ends new does not work.
are ya kidding me basilisk venom is really good skill if you think its bad you must be doing something wrong and also it stuns everything you can stun ppl with stability with it and all cind a bosses in pve.
i like it as it is and necro can get mobility take worm minion and spectral walk.
so yea I mostly play mesmer and I really cant do enyfing againt condi thief with carrion set what ever I do he usealy comes out with 75% of hes health. im not bad on mesmer direct dmg thief is fightable. like I need general tips.
happend to me accidently today few seconds before I went into downed state (chased by train or zerg how you like to call it) I used DS nb 2 skill on mob far away who was a bit infront of my partymember a second after i got downed I was teleported to mob and party member was could rez me I just figured I would share so you would know its possible.
2 words 15 sec waterfield xD its nearly impossible to make organized wvw group witouth ranger
What I would personally like to see is a shorter cool-down on the transformation but not on the boons given. That would further encourage quick fingers to use DS to ablate incoming damage. Life Force generation could stay the same.
ds is good at it is you juts need to trait it and spectral skills I get more than enough life force and boosting it eny way would just make my life forece overun atm I cant spend it enough fast enyway and it sometimes feels like I cant take most of my build beacose I basicly just need to stay in death shroud all the time xD just activate spectral walk or armor before you go into death shroud and it stays up during te effect in combat also if you place spectral wall into enemys your life force regain incredebly fast the problem is in ur builds you cant espect to get much life force running condision build and only skill useful for condision is nb5 and if ur power build spec sectral for more suvivability. and I want to point out necromancers have insane mobility if you build for it ds nb 2 to tele to enemy spectral walk to fool them and worm to tele. getting stability is useful and you can spec ds to recharge on 7 sec now easely. sry if I was mean or something but necromancer is in really good place atm dont get greedy.
maibe drecrease the % of lifeforce draining every second wile in DS to increase its tankyness beacose ur total ammount of lifeforce comes from ur health +% from trait.

I consedered this rune but I dont need so much boon duration 30% boon duration is to get 3,9s stability for finishing off ppl and also good to have when you fight multible enemys at once 10% condtition time is mostly to increase the duration of immoblize and freeze nofthing else really also I bleed a lot what ticks around 50 beacose 65% to 70 crit chance (depending of food) and dagger speed xD

Some long parts, but worth the wait. This is kinda what his build is like. Its pre-patch and I had to change it some for post-patch play, but this is the general idea of what he is getting at. Glad to see others experimenting with different things.
ohh noo you are far from my build im getting video up as soon as possible I had some tecnical problems so im reinsalling guildwars atm at 9% downloaded from scratch xD it will be here in day or so.

and also if you dont know leeching healt makes damage so you do extra damage with all ur hits + crits deal eaven more damage
wvw based and its also really good bunker for pve (lak of ranged attacks makes it weak in most pve situatsion tooh)
check it out urself beacose of boon duration you have endless shiftness allmost constant fury and 4s stability after every 7 seconds ur crit chance is pretty high and you get extra hp on criting and also alot of protection both from trait armor and spectral wall I call my build freezing death beacose of ammount of freeze you inflict all commets welcome and this build was made pefore patch (patch made it a bit stronger but not much)

First of all these are some massive stats to boat i guess you are running soldiers ammy?
Honestly i dont think that any engi build can deal that much damage vs that much armor instantly. I think you should have just checked your combat log to see what really did the damage – its usually the easiest way – maybe there was someone you didnt see ( backstab/stealth builds with teleport pretty popular again atm as i see things)
@ power burst builds.. the big ol bomb + ulti elixir was already mentioned
SD can be annoying if you cant dodge the triple SD and you have 1 other person nearby which bounces the SD off again but its really no THAT strong damage wise and its terrible in tourneys anywaythe highest possible burst i can see might be with some might stacking + big ole bomb dropped then hit greade barrage dead center -> drop to rifle and jump shot in melee range + big ole bomb explodes (or pry bar somewhere)
maybe if he has built for vulnerability somewhere along the way but in the end you cant really get decent vulnerability stacks without losing dmg somewhere else
but even if you max out damage and somehow manage to hit all those at once its not really instant and its not going to hit for a combined 27K hp vs 2.6+K armor even if youre lucky with crits

It really intrests me how can engi (it was only 1 engi I have sawn) can burst down 25k health trooh 2600 armor in 2 sec? It must be really class cannon build but it intrests me excactly how

thing is I dont like eny nerfis in general I dont mind sometimes getting backstabs from stealth becose I know how to move so I wount get them in back and sry if i was unfair against thiefs right now It only have seen to me abouth ppl talking tath thiefs are behinde most of nerfs everywere and I can proudly say I have nerver asked eny nerfs accept remove the moa from mesmers (when I played mesmer myself peacose I hate this skill and every 1 who uses it id like it when it turns my enemy into quaggan) I just ask and It shood be posted in every proffession forum , tath stop asking for nerfs and let arenanet test things out peacefully and make corrections if needed.

I understand you got nerfed in last patch alot classes did put chill out do like thieves in my guild do go condition spec or somethging if you get a bit armor on urself you are impossible to kill beacose eaven when you are not shadow spec you always have way out of combat i dont say its OP or something or thieves are op you just play different (I also know you dont work so well in PVE accept COF and fractals were you are needed) but you are only class who can leave comabt and heal up during fight so be happy abouth it.

I agree its good skill now and yes terrormancers use it as hell atm beacose its awsome to them but necromancers really require this skill so yes just make it so terror trait wount work on spectral wall? so it fears but does no damage? beacose condition duration dont work on it I think you still can get max 1s fear from it.

I have new idea what it could be switched with I know it might sound bit op the skill name could be mesmer curse and it would transfrom enemy into fully functioning mesmer for 2m eather shatter/contition/phantasm build and rarely when enemy very unlucky into mantra or inturubtion build (fully geared mesmer)
they shood nerf thief backsab to normal attack not leap so you would wine on it not on ur cb attack. thiefs op enyway

please fix clone bugs , first of all I found out some of my clones dont have guild tag what takes away point of them being cone , maibe clones shood look like enemy instead xD and for other clones shood have cosmetic offhan wepon , there isent problem with normal wepons but I use wisperblades so its cind a flashy xD problem isent tath I realy ppl to get so confused by my clones I know better players usealy dont enyway but its just annoying they dont look like me. and I allmost forgott make it enemys cant see your norisments beacose atm you need to run with 2h wep or no offhand no guild and not use norisments to look same with ur clones. the guild part annoys me most beacose games name is guild wars but game incoriges us not to play with guild. sry abouth my english not my main lang.

lightning sill works I have 13/6 air runes xD beacose on spvp armor also xD and if you have 7/6 it means it aslso works underwater beacose underwater your helm is removed and replaced with breether.

I agree with you and im +1 who plays mesmer in wvw and I have seen increased number of bunkers builds running around wvw beacose they have nofthing to fear now only thing dangerous to them was confusion dmamage and with confusion new they will take over as soon as ppl realize they cannot be killed when running bunker now.
I’ll cosign your idea for Change #1. More realistic movement would be nice.
I’d cast a “nay” vote on the dodge-rolling though. I don’t want to interrupt my Phantasms who are already on long cooldowns. Even if they get the same cooldown we do from interrupted skills, they can be fragile and die before getting attacking again. My combat shouldn’t be tied to them that much.
phantasm movment shood stay same only clones move and dodge with you and also if I may add clones shood have also ur offhand wepon
but abouth confusion my best idea how to get it under control would be tath it is in its full power everywere but for every stack of confusion you have you get 1sec of recovery after its gone(not cured) when its timed out so it will reward ppl who know there is no point to do wile under confusion.
but take 1 stack of bleeding lasts 10+ sek but confusion only for 1 to 2 sek mostly and you can evade all confusion damage when you dont do enyfing you cant evade from other conditions
Increased condition duration will also have its effect on confusion if I’m not mistaken.. And bleeds don’t last 10+ seconds by default, trust me..
And that’s the great things about conditions: You get a condition and you need to wear it off or remove it. Applies to bleeding, poison, confusion, … The fact that bleeding does constant (tiny) damage shouldn’t be too frowed upon.. Condition removal, anyone?
yea I know they dont stack 10 seconds by deafult I have necromancer and I can stack bleed with nb1 skill for around 12 sec and yes I know the point is to remove conditions and this post was more like joke on response to confusion nerf but as I can see this post was transfered to succestions and it scares me that im being takeing seriously
what i really want is tath classes are not nerfed for pvp/wvw ok yes confusion makes alot of dmg put real reason for confusion is to slow enemy down so you get breething room and also takeing down bunker builds who think they are immortal / we all know thefes used to kill us allmost instantly but dagger to heart does tath to person and everything has counter
