The amount of nerfs you receive has no merit. It’s the results that count and Combustion shot is ridiculous. People have every right to complain about, just like they have every right to complain about Healing Singet or the new Mesmer Heal.

This is similar to the build ive been running since october. These days I run axe/shield and longbow instead of using mace. Longbow helps alot in mid fights and keeping people off the point.

Most people dont know how to fight axe warrior and get bursted down real quick.

Some of you guys seem to think that reporting is some sort of magical voodoo.

Reports merely gets the moderator’s attention. The moderators decide if you broke the rules. If you don’t break the rules, people can report you all they want, and nothing will happen.

Sometimes, people get infracted without any reports.
Sometimes, posts get deleted after only one report.
Sometimes, posts get reported constantly, with no consequence to the poster because they did not break the rules.
Sometimes, people report someone else, and end up getting infracted themselves because their own post broke the rules.

Infractions are because of rule breaking, not because of reports.

We all know how moderation really works around here, no need to white knight.

But how can bronze league servers stalk and trash talk SF if that sub-forum is ending? This is truly the end of an era.

Ill explain how it works. After the first countdown expires and it says get ready for the match to start or whatever you have like 5 seconds to burst down the door before you are teleported back to your spawn and the second countdown begins. Also works on the trebs in Khylo. This works because the game repairs everything after the first cool down but nothing after the second one.

They could make the doors invulnerable or just not let people roam the match before start up to fix this but they haven’t done anything and its been here a long time.

Also any class can do this idk why you called out necros.

My build, 0/20/0/20/30 which worked well for me before the patch with s/d was nerfed pretty decently. Both water traits that i used both were adept traits before the patch and now they are master. I mean the reduced cooldown in water skills and condition removal on water attunement. Now i have to either give up my condition removal or sustain (lower cd on water healing spells).

This might sound minor, but it made a huge difference and now my build either lacks condition removal that it had before or i lose out on conditional removal and healing (dagger water 5 is a heal and condi removal)

I tried to use new builds without water traits, but i found we just have waaay too low of hp. On my mesmer i can run condi rabid amulet and have close to 17k hp….on my ele using a similar setup i barely have 12k. With so little base hp, we absolutely MUST go 30 in arcane for evasive arcana dodge roll heal. Without it, any ele will drop like a fly. Water is also needed because of how abysmally low the ele base hp is.

Overall this patch was garbage for eles and they should have left us alone. we cannot afford to go 30 in earth because then our survivability suffers way too much. Without higher hp from water, 30 arcane is needed just to survive (evasive arcana). So a major investment in arcane or water needed for all eles, and even more so with our sad sad nerfs to water and arcane traits

You can only WvW together if your on the same server

Can we get sky hammer buffed so that the cannon one shot kills and gives allies stealth stability and prenerf warrior hammers?

Also make it the only map in tpvp pls.

Its not the viability its that they have pushed classes completely out of the meta. Also warriors can take a soldiers ammy and still dish out ridiculous damage… Other classes have to go full zerker to do that.

I answered him that it’s due to accumulation of infraction points and will expire somewhat soon.

Bam, I got infracted for that post but didn’t get banned.

German community coordinator Ramon Domke replied to him, that it is temporarily due to accumulation of infraction points and will expire somewhen in near future.

I’m sure I’m not playing it super well as I am very new to it. But I still feel like I’m missing something when I get 2 or 3 players on me and they start dishing out heavy damage. I don’t know what to do, other than leave the point, which defeats the whole purpose of this build.

I was talking about the condition warrior you faced, high armor/healing and condition damage.

Use your shield when the enemy team tries to burst you down. Use dodges wisely. Your not just gonna be able to tank 3 people and live to tell the tale.

Mace has great cc and an extra block. I guess if mobility is more important for you mid run sword, if not go mace.

If you return to a match after a disconnect or switch classes, you will not gain dishonor.
We are always watching ‘the numbers’ and have the ability to change the variables of dishonor as we see fit. If we think lowering one number or raising another will reduce the amount of leavers and afk players, then we will certainly do it.

Thanks for that answer bro, I was under the impression that if you left at all after the game starts you get an stack of dishonor.

Bonus rank points from tpvp don’t count toward the title which is why you can be rank 29 still trying to get the rank 20 title if you only play tpvp.

Olrun isnt the only one who has been running bunker warrior, I honestly see no reason to use sword unless your trying imob someone off a point or using conditions.

I did use it and the abilities are certainly nice. Just feels like something’s missing.. lack of an AOE option maybe.

longbow has nice burst and firefield but ive never used it with a bunker build, you could try mace/shield/LB or mace/shield/hammer

From what I have seen everyone is severely burnt out. I was playing 100+ hours a week and yeah, well there gets a point. Its definitely a direct result of leagues. I assume most will bounce back and get into it soon. But Im guessing there were some who were on the verge of burnout prior to leagues who burnt out for good and aren’t coming back now.

With warriors, apart from healing signet, the stability uptime also seems a bit too much. In my experience, if I go full dps, I need enough CC to keep the warrior from hitting me too much, but with the uptime of stability it’s hard to actually find a window of opportunity.

The reason mesmers were brought up is because most of this topic was about risk vs reward. The op tried to make it seem like there was no risk vs reward for just warriors while the class he mains(Mesmer) has the exact same problem. So it’s funny that he would ask for a nerf to a class that has the exact same problems of the class he is playing.

The op reacts by calling anyone who doesn’t agree with him WvW and pve players.

It’s hard to be objective concerning warriors because there is so much hate towards the class and people tend to have their own reasons for wanting them nerfed and not all of it has to do with balance. That said it seemed like you were exaggerating how good some of warriors skills is. Every stance has a long cd where you are open to kick the warriors kitten , especially if they use them all at once. It is extremely easy to burst a warrior down since healing sig doesn’t protect against burst. Only warriors that are hard to kill is bunker banner regen warriors.
