Funniest thing I’ve heard in pvp is when any of the A-net staff tries to talk about balance and how the game is moving in the right direction…it’s always a good laugh. This happened to me with an Aetherized hammer skin. Bought a splitter and it only gave me the sigil of fire back. Contacted supported about the splitter not splitting and got no help and a wiki link.

Yea Im in NA you will just have to catch me when im on since I dont really play that much anymore. But did you read the comments on the guide to get a better idea of how to play it

Qaelyn I posted my warrior build in the warrior forums Axe/Shield/Longbow if you want to go look at it. A bunch of people in game kept asking for it and after helping the 3rd person in a row i posted it on the site.

Why nerf this? For some builds, this is basically the only access to stability and condition removal they have.

because some classes don’t have elite’s every 50 seconds for a full condi cleanse which does make it seem a bit unfair, wouldn’t you agree?

Nerf all runes that some classes cant use. Engineer cannot inflict fear so nerf Runes of the Necromancers 6th tier trait since it doesn’t benefit. Why does my Guardian only have 30+ second cooldown heals so I can’t abuse on heal runes as well as my Thief.

That’s not the point , it means peopel can spam the rune while it has serious benefits, a full condi cleanse and all boons for 5 seconds. Tell me, how do you think classes like elementalist or rangers are supposed to get their condi cleanses/boons? Through traits and far weaker runes like hoelbrak..

This is still “my class cant use them as well as some other so nerf it for everyone” Thats all this is. IF all classes were meant to be able to use every runeset as effectively as all other classes then it would be that way already.

There is also buff you can get after you have ranked up enough in wvw that will give you even more advantage on top of food buffs/bloodlust/ascended gear.

I’m not, this was a change made because of the dominance of thieves in wvw with the extra second they got after stealth ended, because of culling. Then they removed culling and reverted revealed to 3 seconds in wvw and kept 4 seconds in spvp. If any of the game modes had to keep 4 second revealed , it should have been wvw because damage there is a lot higher than in spvp and more backstabs have a much greater impact than they would have here.
But you really like your logic though.

I’m not even saying that 4 second revealed should be lowered, it just shows the wackamole balance that goes on in this game. 4 second revealed is fine.

Either way OP you can either take the time out to watch/read a guide on how to do the dungeon and not slow your team down or get kicked.

TC is one of the higher pop servers in wvw and pve. Its an roleplaying server also. Im not on TC so idk about guilds but you can just roll on over to their community website and find a guild.

Aste is right, you dont have to agree with him but hes right. If you arent having a good time in dungeons start your own group and avoid all the problems. They cant kick you without kicking themselves.

Just when you thought unsuspecting foe had gone away…nope. I also use reflect over dogged march.

I have hit for 7.2ish-13k on evis…I have also had it bottom out and only hit 2.5ish.

Very strong 1 vs 1…but keep longbow to replace sword/mace if PU mesmers/minions start becoming a problem.

You still get the occasional tool trying to use Glory rank. I had someone yesterday try to do that when I’m rank 36 and he was in mid 40s. No doubt one of those who farmed Skyhammer and want something to show for that wasted time /smh

Ill start it off with one i can think off the top of my head. My last game in team arena I had a thief say “We should try capturing the points this game guys” to his team. The way she said it was like it was something she just thought of. We lost that match

Had a warrior tell a thief to bunker home because thats what thieves are good at – dude was serious

Had a warrior say his only job was to support with banners, thats it. Thats all he did.
dude was full banner warrior with healing surge.

Had a guy tell our team his job was to stay in base and protect boss all game on foefire. Ill tell you one thing, that boss didnt freaking die all game. He did his job kitten well even tho no one ever went to base.

I’ve been running something similar, but with hammer instead of Sw/Sh. Its the same traits as the generic hammer build, but it synergies really on allowing easy eviscerates with all the control. Not to mention 43% crit chance, 113% crit dmg, and 3300 armor are a tad OP. i can commonly get 10-15k eviscerate crits on people. Only downside is the low mobility.

I can see the warrior players have a hard time understanding simple english. I will explain my post again and simplify it, maybe with more success.
Warrior – press F1 = 13k DmG
Mesmer – press 3 + 2 + utility + F1 = Less damage

All the posts about being outplayed and what not are irrelevant. I can be the biggest noob on the planet it does not matter. The fact is that war can press 1 button to get that damage out while other classes can’t. Even the next best thing, the backstab is harder to accomplish since you need positioning.
I understand for most of you it might be difficult to understand you play an easy class that’s to strong for the level of skill required, but there’s no need to start excusing your lack of skills with blaming others with lack of skill. If you will take your time and look on these forums for a bit, you will see every time people are complaining about a class to much it’s because it’s op not because it’s good the way it is but people are just unskilled. When you read the forums doesn’t it seem weird that most of the posts are complaining about warriors ?

Backstabb= go invis, get behind or on side, and backstab. Not telegraphed at all .

Eviscerate= build up adrenaline, use highly telegraphed easily dodgeable slow leap, hope it crits otherwise its useless.

In fairness, he may have a very good reason for not knowing this. One way to never know that the “Join” button defaults you into the game after 2 minutes, is if you’re never AFK and always click it.
