At level 40 it really doesn’t matter what gear you run in wvw. Just use whatever you are liking for leveling and don’t worry about getting a specific set for pvp.

By the way, I wouldn’t exactly take Creslin’s list as gospel. That’s one way of playing one build.

Only two classes I’ve really gotten into are engineer and D/D elementalist. Both are high mobility, high survivability through kiting, high damage, high button mashing, high skill cap. Lot of similarity between the two.

Had more fun in wvw tonight than I have since I started playing. Ran around solo on my elementalist; tons of 1v1-3s, small scale skirmishes, epic chases etc. Ended up just camping ruins on Dragonbrand borderlands with a guardian who was doing the same thing. Lots of good fights, both solo and 2vx. I’m hoping that this fairly even matchup continues to make soloing enjoyable.
