@TC one of the most boring server to matchup in GW2 I’ll rather its DB/FA, outnumbered us still refuse to fight had to squirrel under superior acs and wait for 100men whist everyone else swap flies away. Guess its a good week to start visiting the Queen.

Anyway, so many people get upset and want to complain and make a scene on the forums. I understand that usually these people are just too prideful and need to pump themselves up somehow, so I won’t hold it against you. But, in the end, every server has different types of people. We have guilds and individual players who will run head on into larger numbers if it doesn’t mean losing an upgraded objective. We have guilds and individuals who value the objective over fighting. We also have those who know they aren’t good at PvP, and as such they break and run easily from fights where they don’t have an obvious advantage. You may not like it, but that’s tough. Each one of those groups of people have a right to play how they want. It shouldn’t make everyone so emotional and hateful.

Get out of here with your logic. ;p

I haven’t posted in forums for a while because nothing really has bother me or i haven’t needed anything but this has really bothered me. These colors are super irritating to look at, like it was chosen by kids, I’m pretty irritated by it. I know some players r going to like it, so to avoid all the qq would it be ok to have a setting to choose either old settings or this new super awesome visual aid for the colorly disabled?

Well personally I have a problem with it because the map became very irritating to look at. The icons are so bright they actually hurt my eyes. I have no problem with them staying, as long as we have the option to revert to the old colour scheme.

The change may be for those who are colourblind. I’m totally fine with that, though we should have an option to revert back to the old colours. To me the new map looks like it went on an acid trip.

I gotta say I find TC’s love of PPT to be absolutely mind blowing. I was watching people guard yak’s to the mag keep in EB, five people. That is impressive in a match that is just a zergfest and PPT is about as important as JQ’s view of being a T2 server.

People on TC roleplay in WvW as tower/keep/camp/dolyak/etc… guards. That’s why there are ALWAYS people in towers/keeps/camps/etc… alerting the zerg if someone strolls by.

I’m not joking at all, either.

You should see the in-character reporting of said enemy movements in /map chat. Full paragraphs of carefully parsed and flowing prose. It’s amazing. <3 TC.

After the questionable navigation of Captains Kelo of the Lady Seafoam Antonym and Thorich of the Red Seasniffer of the Proletariat extended our mission for 2 extra weeks, we finally happened upon the Jed Quarrian Cruiser, Beep Beep I’m a OIIIIO, captained by the renowned Rear Admiral General Colonel Sanders of the Deadly Frost. Our two Captains were so inept that when approaching the Beep Beep I’m a OIIIIIO, Captain Thorich nearly rammed the cruisers stern but fortunately, due to quick thinking, the Rear Admiral only ended up with a wet bow. Captain Thorich was immediately ordered to paddle home in a lifeboat claiming no home, oh, for about a week.

The welcome home celebration thrown for us was quite spectacular and we handed out many SF HUGS to our friends in SoR and BG, though we should probably offer medical assistance, as we have just come from a week of handing out the same hugs to the primitive tribes of Maguuma and their Maguumy Bears.

I would also like to request a brief respite from returning to my marriage counseling duties as I have found a new love for bringing the word of Jedsus Chris to those who need it most.

I personally love this matchup. I was with the old Cryptic Omen guild all the way to T2, and have seen matchups with pretty much every server. BG is clearly far and away the best wvw server right now, and I think we have learned alot from both BG and SOR this round.

It makes me so sad that I won’t be on for most of the weekdays. I really love this matchupand the fights (whether it’s in our favour or not) has been funfunfun especially those three-way fights ~

Not even close, TC usually only has enough people to fill TCBL and EB. JQ has enough to fill every map

Outside of reset, JQ hasn’t maxed every map in months. TC is fielding zergs that would compare to BlackGate’s. Not SoR’s, but nobody zergs that hard.

It’s kind of difficult to gauge WvW population right now because:
a) it’s the weekend
b) JQ entered this matchup after facing BG/SoR for weeks (which means your pop. would have decreased somewhat [or a lot] because of the lack of matchup diversity etc.)
c) TC entered this matchup after a long string of victories (some are more close than others), so we will have some fairweathers around.
Gotta wait until weekdays to see how many numbers we can consistently field~

I found it interesting (though not surprising) that EBG had no queue during oceanic time, when we would be able to queue this map at that time. Heh.

What I meant by coverage issue mainly pertained to active/dedicated WvWers. I’m fully aware that top tier servers will always have enough people to queue maps, though this is not always the case because some people do lose interest when they’re losing (and of course other factors can come into play).

As for the skill gap between t1 and t2, yes I do agree, and I believe this became evident when we faced SoR. Though this is just a general observation from my standpoint.

JQ greatly surpasses us in numbers, and they are the t1 server with arguably the most coverage issues. A ‘little bit’ is a gross understatement.

JQ are outmanned on 2 bl’s NA primetime, TC have queues on all 4 bl’s during NA primetime

On reset night? Yes all four maps are queued. The night aftet reset? More often than not only EBG is queued at NA prime. The rest of the week? Same thing, most of the time only EBG is queued.

In my entire time in WvW I have not encountered a queue on all four maps on a weekday, even on NA prime.

And JQvTCvFA would be interesting indeed.

Oh please, the amount of times my 5 man groups have had to deal with this same issue from TC and FA is unreal.

Honestly its part of the game, every side has and will bring a zerg to destroy a 5 man team every now and then intentionally or not. Is it annoying? Of course, but it isn’t going to stop.

Thiiis. It’s kind of irritating to hear people complain about zerging when -all- three servers will form a zerg if they can field enough numbers to do so. As for small groups being zerged down, more often than not it’s simply being in the wrong place at the wrong time (or right place and right time).

But anyway, it’s been fun FA and SoS. Keep up the fights and most of all, have fun~

Since I’m the latest TC person to say something of the sort… I wasn’t saying you learn from TC. In fact, I did not even state that only CD and SoS are the only two servers that need to learn and improve (though it may look like it had been worded as such). But, whatever.
