Honestly as bad and annoying as cheating is:

SoS isn’t a terrible choice, but for the sake of Tier balance, FA or Mag is best.

Tier 2 is GvG heaven still. Tier 2 PST is not blobby as it used to be. Midnight EST to 5am is pretty good for smaller skilled groups.

T2 is where its at for for skilled fights and no little skill lag. Well there’s still some SMC skill lag when there’s three servers involved in the lords room, but I’m sure some of you know what I mean….

Yah all things considered, BG isn’t that bad of a server.

I mean their guilds aren’t too bad at all really. Open field fighting for them has certainly gotten better, and I’d consider BG guilds to be relatively “fair” at it.

Chaba please don’t presume you know everything about a server you haven’t fought in 6 months our rating before SoR was 1740 and after losing the baggage from SoR stabilized at 1840. That 100 rating didn’t come out of nowhere we gained a handful of guilds because of seasons and some of them stayed

Honestly just start over and apply the conditions again. A good condi build would be able to just apply 10-15 stacks of bleed in less than 5 seconds.

They clean that once, just do it again. Many classes can’t keep up with the cleanses.

Its not a super build for the large fights, although the fact that necros are basically awesome at AOE, evens it out. You can AOE condition groups pretty much non-stop if you cycle your skills properly.

Sure they can cleanse, but again let them keep up with you laying down conditions from the outside.

As for dungeons you can either go full condition or just have an alternate set a gear for power.

Mind you for WvW you’ll want to add some toughness to the builds, and what not…but he’s got some great building blocks on there with the math to back it up.

ACs don’t have AoE cap… Have fun…

AC’s have never stopped a zerg from rezzing someone. At least not in my experience. :P

I HATE THEM. Screw immersion.

That being said, it would be great if there was an OP risen npc zerg that would spawn only during halloween. Something like a bunch of hard hitting champs that would be a challenge of some sort to an organized zerg.

HoD won’t buy guilds – but FA has and it’s known throughout our map from those on FA who have told us they are still holding out hope for the REST of our guilds and the standing “orders” for gold is high and wrong.

Megaserver is a failure and a WvW killer.

Just a note on FA:

We aren’t buying any one. There are guilds that CHOSE to come to FA, and some needed partial help with that.

They want to be on a WvW server…and have fun.

I won’t hold it against them, and neither should you. Especially since they helped you win Season 2. Treat them with some respect…

I don’t like the megaserver either, its really hard to recruit for WvW, promote our webpage, and our ts3 on /m. It has taken away from server pride to some extent, which has hurt WvW.

Of all the problems that WvW has…someone posts/complains about Mesmer pulls?

Fighting against FA recently has been the only light for my guild and I. Every other server we face sits in the towers, or runs away when you near them. The FA guilds are tough, experienced and not afraid to run away from a fight. Definately a great server to be on, would recommend trying whether you’re new, looking for somewhere to go, or an older player looking for a great community.

Who knows what they are thinking. From the vast majority of matchups being blowouts to the lack of the ability to talk about it on the official forums…

WvW is pretty much a mess. Just got to take it for what it is, give it a few hours a week(or more), and not take it seriously.

I really hope HoD is everything people say they are.

I actually hope they can pull off a win against us.

1-2)HoD/FA – FA losing two of their large guilds is gonna hurt their NA. The multiple 30+ HoD guilds will run them over. They still have the coverage to push for 1st though. It depends how much they want it.

I have even resorted to sending PMs to devs asking if they even read this forum anymore. They are really busy in the pvp forum, but not this one.

They seem to love SPvP, despite the fact that I have only ever met 2 people for whom SPvP is what keeps them playing GW2.
I know an exponentially higher amount of people who love WvW and admit that the draw to PvE is even higher than that.

At this point I think the GvG scene alone is bigger than sPvP…. :P

Pretty sure Mag and FA are safe — either of them can probably pull 25 rating out of the tier 3 matchup, and DB is probably going to lose 25 rating in tier 2, so FA should just pass DB with the 50 point swing.

Actually this is true, if DB stays down there for some reason, then we may get screwed unless ANET steps in and decides DB eating rankings off of a dead server isn’t the way things should be.

First, Dragonbrand better not get another free pass. I’m ready to make accusations of match fixing (FA likely to have a lot of transfers, a lot of gems to be bought….).

On the same note, it’d almost be worth rolling the nigh impossible odds that would take SoS to T1 (for one week only) to see BG vs DB.

Yep and if ANET allows DB to move up like that due to leaching ratings, then I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people on FA just give up on WvW or GW2 entirely.

I know its getting close with a lot of servers….WvW getting old.

FA has a lot of hardcore WvW’rs in NA, I would guess we have hundreds of players that have 2000+ hours in WvW alone. Tossing them into boredom land of Silver may be the end of it.

I can’t speak for all of FA, but we might be willing to go at SoS once Gold league is solidified.

And no SoS, you are not ready to compete with Tier 1.
