SoR had a dormant wvw population, just that they showed up more often because of higher morale, just like JQ’s and BG’s.

How will this work exactly? BG rolled against lets say DB and SOR, but DB’s roll is against JQ and BG. So who decides the final 3 servers?

JQ needs some tender loving care during NA/Oceanic/EU!

Problem is getting into a FULL server can be quite challenging!

Luckily the issue was discovered early, it will be bad if something screws up and pit T1 against T8. its going to hurt all the servers

The cmoing change which pit you up a different server may be a bit more refreshing.

It may be zergier or less and the coverage amng the servers vary so there is a change instead of having the same weekly matchup.

p.s If you choose a FULL server good luck trying to get 350+ people over. My friend and his guild moved to a full server 2 weeks ago and it took over a week just to get his 50 man guild over. It’s possible, but it’ll take several weeks

It can be done quite easily it just requires manuveuring on all sides. I.E blackouts, coordinated efforts and just observations of when things open up.

Not sure if blackout works. I came across a post by dev that mentioned its calculated based on total accounts on the server. Meaning if a large group of players decide to stop gaming gw2, then your server is full till active players transfers off. There will be this problem when ppl transfers becos of WvW and players who are heavy PvE will not bother to transfer to give these slots away because of the guest feature.

This is more related to a load test I guess. Test environment isn’t able to test the load right?>

There are bad kittens on the forums in all servers, just ignore them and the world will be a better place ^^

There are always that off hour window that the server goes to very high for a short while.
Just need to catch that window, JQ DB TC and BG both have that rare window of opportunity =P

Things wrong with this patch:

• Inability to place down siege
• Multiple random crashes
• Righteous Indignation buff stays with claimer even after countdown ends
• Skill lag, which seemed alot better after the May 14 patch, feels worse now.

If you really want to join DB, you need to speak to their community in charge. Apparently, some wanted you to go while others don’t.

JQ does need bodies to fill up their NA crew. For TC, I believe their NA is pretty strong and possibly queued on a few maps. If you are going to transfer as an individual, i’ll say go TC and look for the guild that suits you. If you are bringing a hardcore wvw-er NA crew over, you may consider JQ. Do note that both servers are FULL.

I’ve talked to you guys before and I’m glad that you guys are finally coming around to your senses. I know when we spoke before you said that Dragonbrand was your top choice in-guild. T2 is very stable between TC/FA/DB. Dragonbrand could use Rethesis’s assistance to match TC’s NA power.

On average early NA we tick around 160-200 and by 9pm EST we are ticking 210-260. I’d like to see our min raised to 200 and max around 300 on average. Rethesis can help us do that. We can of course, as we’ve talked, help you farm the money to aid with the transfers and provide you with your guild channel in public ts3 channel and all those extra things that come with a transfer.

Right now we qeue 2-3 maps a night on average and qeue 3 maps during NA prime on the weekends, so there is space for Rethesis to que up that 4th map.

There are a lot of PvE bonuses and guild mission help we can give to you guys too but just shoot me a message on here since I’m away on vacation. And Ethersin I didn’t get your number so I couldn’t visit when I was in Los Angeles!

If you can get 3 maps queued, its really very impressive already. I don’t even think T1 has 3 maps queued at their very peak?

SoR queues all maps during NA prime. Including reset night and during the week. Stay away from SoR.

Over stacking will make your own guilds(native/transfers) quit totally becos of queue issues. Its like digging your own grave.

Here’s my opinion on where you should go.

SoR – Nope. We don’t need you. Our NA queues up enough as it is. You don’t want to sit in queues and we don’t want ours longer than they are already.

JQ – They could use you. However, they have such a large PvE population it may be tough to transfer in. They seem to have stabilized some after the last round of transfers off.

BG – I wouldn’t go here for the simple fact, after guilds transfer in, they start losing members quickly and the guilds eventually die off or become shells of their former selves. I don’t know if this is because of the community on BG or if the guilds transferring in are on their last leg. Many refer to this as the “black hole” server for guilds. You go in, you don’t come out.

DB – I wouldn’t choose this server. Despite what some people say, their community can be toxic. I got a couple buddies over there and they said you don’t want to be there when they aren’t doing well. A few of the newer transfers have really put a strain on things I guess.

TC – Great guys, but you will never be able to transfer in. Probably the best community in the game though bar none.

FA – I know they need transfers, but I have never went up against them and i know nothing about them.

To sum it up JQ/FA/Tier 3 and below.

Thats sad, to advise someone else on the server, you actually had to put some others down with some hate.

I don’t think a wvw guild from KN will want to transfer to a lower tier. Probably hes looking at T1 – T3.

I would say JQ may be a good choice, they do need some new guilds to revitalize their WvW population.

Way to solve the running, send your fast movers (since i saw enough) in to catch the tail.
If they die – well you had your bags right? :P

Also last part they jumped into the water and wanted to fight – you kept standing near the edge – hence i wouldn’t try and get close if i was in the water either. If you’d moved towards the sentry – you prolly would’ve had the fight you wanted.

Back to the topic:

I really enjoyed the small scale fights during the day I had.
And yesterday night was pretty fun aswell!
Also a big thumbs up for tkitten guilds/militia from JQ and specially BG.
I LOVE the fact you guys actually charge in to fight, even if the odds are against you.
We fought even numbers for quite a while and enjoyed it alot. <3

This is so that people can fake attacks?

I believe the AC firing places where 1 normally wouldnt be able to unless with the help of 3rd party should be stopped.

If anyone from the SoR community and can represent it be willing to speak up?

The AC was placed by someone outside the community or the cmder? The placement of the AC seems to indicate thakittens meant to hit places that aren’t supposed to be reached?
