Lol! JQ is like the most bipolar server. One minute they’re double-teaming SoR with BG, next minute they’re double-teaming BG with SoR.

That’s not the problem with JQ. The problem is that BG is a bit “weird” when it comes to tactics.

Example 1
SoR tries to take an upgraded JQ bay. BG has at least two good options.
- take an unguarded upgraded SoR hills
- take an unguarded upgraded JQ spawn tower.
BG runs to JQ bay to watch the fight or get wiped there or get some bags or whatever.

Example 2
JQ attacks SoR garrison, SoR comes to defend.
BG attacks JQ spawn tower and camp instead taking their bay back or.. getting NW tower.

Sure, you can play it that way, but it makes absolutely no sense. And many of the situations when JQ decides to go for BG are because BG just did something stupid before, like taking JQ spawn camp with their whole zerg, while JQ is pushing SoR garrison or such things.

to keep it short: It is always a l2p issue if you lose a 1v1 as a thief against any class.

I’ve done my Clockwork Chaos Completionist today with 4 missing achievments.
I didn’t do:
Soft Lander, Playhouse Perfectionist, Raced to the Rescue
And I’m still missing an Invasion Canceler (after normally had completed all 13 – my achievment is stuck at 12/13.
Don’t know what to do now. I don’t want to do all the zones again for 1 possibly not counting the first time.

I’m still a bit shocked about that garrison fight on JQ bl in the first hour after reset. I never had a lag like that before. We tried to close the wall with our tank bodies and even pressing 1 (or any key else) had an effect. So SoR streamed in, right through us and nobody died – neither from us, nor from them. Good thing is that we got rid of all those invaders after.

But really Anet, I don’t want to see masses of enemies if I’m not able to fight them.

Normally I really don’t care where I go because I don’t do much pve and events besides leveling, but what really is a design flaw is the opportunity to buy jewels at the temples.
My new leveled ranger is now waiting for two days for an open temple of Balthazar and there is not one open on any NA server. And this won’t change until the world events stop or become so boring that people go back to Orr again. So I have to wait at least until september for my backpiece and rings and hope that there won’t be a new living story that takes the people away from Orr.
Maybe Anet should think about giving those karma gear to another vendor while living story events go on or find a better solution for that problem.

I really enjoy the living story, but I’m sitting on almost 2 mio karma and want be able to spend it instead of paying tons of gold for jewelry from the tp.

I always rezz people when I’m standing up there. It makes no sense not to.

I’m colourblind too and I still try to figure out a way to change the colours for beating Liadri. I did some tweaking with the AMD vision center but haven’t found a good way to get those circles visible.
It would be really great if Anet could get an option for playing GW2 in colour blind mode. There are so many things in the game which you don’t see if you are colour blind and which are fatal to your gameplay.

Nah, that’s not how it works. It’s not that easy. It’s not just a red on green or green on red problem. That’s just one part of dyschromatopsia.
It’s not easy to describe for someone who sees normal and the Ishihara plates don’t really make it more understandable.
And what you see in GW2 depends on how bad your colour blindness is and which colour you don’t see and which colours GW2 uses for effects.

Anet had to change this because of abuse (players making new alts to get more tickets and deleting them again). Always someone who has to ruin it for the rest of us, i too would have liked to been able to send tickets to my lvl 80s.

I don’t see the problem with getting too many tickets for the gauntlet. Now I sit on 40 on my level 69 ranger and can’t use them.
They should be account bound at least again.

This deserves an answer from Anet.

Same problem with my guild on Jade Quarry. We couldn’t join Arah Storymode some month ago, guess it was with the release of Super Adventure Box, after that with that Flame&Frost Patch and now with the Pirates. We can’t enter Candidate Trials as a group.
I have that problem with guild representation and groups too.
All of us are from EU and have EU accounts.

I hope we get that matchup again soon. I couldn’t play as much as i wanted because of bbq and kittening awesome weather. Thanks to FA and TC, the hours I played were real fun, especially against those RE and NAGA guys.

Everyone’s been saying that about SoR, and it’s true, unfortunately. We’re going to get another 2 500 man EU guilds.

IRON is not that bad, please don’t blame them.

I really like SoR strategy for this week. They don’t bring that much players into wvw this week to show how overstacked BG is. With that ppt they can talk to guilds which are interested in joining BG or SoR and tell them BG is already stacked enough while they seriously need more people. And if someone asks for JQ or TC they can say “JQ is going down, we got two of their NA guilds that week” or “TC can’t even handle JQ”

The other option is burnout in combination with great weather and holidays.

Pick what fits you better.

SoR plays only for the fights
SoR never plays for ppt
SoR wants 1v2
TW always runs with 15 people
SoR doesn’t want transfers
SoR is the greatest community
SoR has no fairweather players
SoR has the strongest NA
SoR is not stacked in any timezone

I really like this matchup. We are still totally outnumbered in EU time, but no one zoomhacks his way into towers or fortresses.
And the open field fights are really great.

That whole transfering is pretty funny. Noodles and his brothers join TKG again and WARD jumps the ship like PRX always did and talk about a toxic community.
Sometimes it’s really better not to look back. It’s ok if you leave, but calling a community toxic who supported you and your guild is really stupid.

It would be easier and more effective if BG Oceanics and EU transfer to JQ and your guys are used to transfers.

Doubt that is going to happen. SoR morale is very high and it seems they have an all-call going on. Have seen literally every SoR guild in full force, lol. Emphasis on full force.

After getting rid of all that fat, SoR now is at 29% bodyfat percentage and so it seems they are stacked!

This in itself helped trim the fat of the negative nancy’s, wvw rage quitters, etc. that are prevalent on all servers.

I love when people keep bringing this up for the guilds that lost to RG during those GvGs. So what does that make of the guilds that continuously get wiped day in and day out by these guilds that apparently are so bad? They are clearly worse by extension then, correct?

I just ask, because it’s so funny to read that “scared” against RK because they don’t want GvG. And the last thing I heard is that IRON didn’t like to GvG against RG when they were on JQ.

I can understand when guilds leave to push a smaller server or join a T2 to T7 because of various gameplay or organisation reasons, but to join a direct competitor and make that strong timeslot even stronger and weaken the former community is far beyond me.
