Because not showing on the battle field for weeks after getting 1st place twice is bad for all three servers especially your own.
It seems BG didn’t learn anything from past mistakes. If you burn your wvw population by pulling overtimes for two weeks you will need to recruit in 5 weeks again.

edited: I do this overtimes sometimes on weekends, but why should I stay for hours just to win by 60k points? You can win by 3k, you don’t get an extra big cake for higher points.

Not so much playing for second, just playing for points and its easier to go with the tag teaming approach. Everyone gets 2v1’ed at some point – and JQ’s the most attractive target at the moment, nothing personal.

First time go on gw2 wiki and learn mechanisms of this game, because all attacks hurt Thief in stealth and you say there’s only mystification

You forget to things. Regeneration in stealth keeps going, maybe with purging conditions on the thief and you can still have blind active.
So, you can even aoe down the place where the thief should be without any effect.
I had a lot of 1v1 on my necro with good and bad thieves and even the bad ones can win by using 3 of their skills while i have to play on limit and without doing any small error.
That’s one reason I stopped playing my thief, because its absolutely boring going even 1v2, because you won’t lose and if you find some really good opponents which play a build that really counters you, you can still out run them before they even know where you’re gone and pick other fights.

As I said before, the whole build needs a serious rework. Healing in stealth, getting rid of conditions, shadowstepping, blinding and really good damage while staying invisible most of the time isn’t balanced at all.
As a necro I can’t even use a finisher or rezz while in death shroud, while thieves can do it from being stealthed.

There are two things that need to happen without touching stealth.
- Either you gain regeneration through stealth OR you losing conditions. Both in combination is too good
- Finishing from stealth should not work.

The irony is that we are still on JQ while so many others pussed out to Bandwagonbrand.

I never have used an ac in reality, but I know how it works. And even in reality you have a minimum angle to fire if you are too close to a wall or you can try to shoot them straight up and hope the wind carries all those arrows away from you.
But GW2 is far away from reality, which doesn’t make exploits legit

You mean like rezzing people through walls is legit because shooting through walls as an ele is?
And no, under normal circumstances you don’t shoot anything but the wall with that ac, because ac use a line of sight. Sure, those arrows don’t care if there is a door a wall in the way, but the user of the ac must see at least the wall. In the actual case he would have hit the door, the wall, but nothing more then the ac circle (actually it’s not a circle but a sphere) behind it.

Doesnt mean that the rest of SOR should condone the behaviour. Its clear the Keep was captured due to use of a field of view exploit, those honest SoR who disagree with the use of this exploit should vacate it , not attempt to defend it, and allow it to be re-built before attacking it again.

I don’t blame SoR for this, but guilds that tolerate such behaviour. I’m almost sure that 99% of SoR doesn’t like hearing such things as JQ or Bg do. But there is no vote to get people from the server and I don’t know how good Anet can track such things.
And that particular guild seems to have very low standards for fair play.

Last thing I heard is that Atrox from EU Riverside will jump to JQ.
But maybe that is told by the same guy who said Waha would leave.

The other problem is exemplified by the success of SF after getting out of t8 jumped up to t6 with some impressive wins. Meaning they were ranked behind servers they were stronger than. Last week Viz Square was all but declared unbeatable, and this week they are losing to Elona. It’s been so long since we played anyone but each other that for all we know DB could wipe the floor with all of us.

Vizunah won’t lose to Elona because of Elona. There are two options: Vizu takes a time off and/or there are holidays in Germany.

So this week there was a holiday in Germany. Elona is a great and strong server, but they can’t pull the night shifts Vizunah does, that’s why they will come in 2nd or 3rd.

I’m not sure, but I think it will takes month before you enter T1 and maybe we are playing GW3 then.

We had 10 people online at EU times on JQ. I guess no one was on red or green bl. That’s not new, it was always the time when JQ had almost no people to bring to the map. Some asians or some EU players left or stopped playing (Foo and EMP) I think while BG had a strong EU force before, which they now stack up with WM and some other guilds I have never seen before in the field.
I have no problem with that. I had most of the fun fights from friday to sunday and have to do pve at EU prime because my guilds wants to farm that Molten thingy.
So I flipped some camps, killed some yaks and got sometimes destroyed by a huge ball of BG.

It just annoying getting supply starved again. It’s the second time that someone does this. I don’t think it’s in any of the other servers interest, when some idiot is weakening one of the three top servers. Maybe you enjoy playing vs. those very skilled doors and maybe that’s the only thing you could ever get down, but I play for fun and fun comes from competition.
If Anet doesn’t ban those idiots and those others flying into inner garrison/bay/hill and destroy siege there or using hacks on ac, I just stop playing.
And I still wonder why posts of “wishing people well” get deleted or people banned and trolling is obviously getting rewarded.

Out of curiosity, what’s your beef with JQ? Assuming you have one. Maybe you just enjoy talking smack. You disappeared from the forums for 4ish months then popped up again about a month ago and have posted flames directed at JQ and FOO almost exclusively.

What’s funny is I don’t think you actually play on any of the current T1 servers.

You should see him at Lion’s Arch on JQ. He does the same there for many hours a day. And when BG loses he is offline for weeks.

If I was a shrink I would tell him to see one at once.

I wish BG would keep that up. But I think it’s going the BG way. They win a week and all of a sudden 90% of the population disappears and will never be seen again. After a while SoR uses BG as a doormat until new guilds get recruited from T2 and T3 servers which flood the wvw for a week and get BG another victory and the everything starts a new.
I don’t know whats wrong with BG. They should easily have the numbers to compete against SoR and JQ in all time zones, but it seems they playing 100 hours a week and need to go to sleep a whole month after that.

Nice. I wondered why we can’t join dungeons anymore. We tried to get into Super Adventure Box yesterday and couldn’t join. We are two players with EU accounts playing on an US server since november 2012 and never had issues with that.

As said in another thread. Me and a guild mate can’t enter instances as a party anymore. We tried the adventure box yesterday and ended up in separate instances. Joining over the pop up didnt work – the pop-up closed and nothing happened.
Today the same problem appeared with the new molten instance. We couldn’t enter with the other 3 people or alone or as a group of 2.

The problem exists still today. We can’t enter the new dungeon as a group.

We have the same problem with the super adventure box. We tried to get in there with a two man party and end up in separate instances.
We tried making a new party, relogging our characters, changing characters, switching from Rata Sum to Lion’s Arch and back.

He doesn’t have to be excellent. He even tells you in his video. It’s just impossible to kill him 2v1 and if he is in real danger he has the tools to escape.
That permanent blinding+stealth needs to go – without hurting other thief builds.

You don’t need to be ultra skilled to play that build, it helps for sure, but it’s just timing of two skills.

Nice duel. Have you done other duels with your build? Maybe vs. D/D ele or any mesmer build?

I will never get that arguments about “JQ has so many people and huge zergs”. But I guess the grass is always greener on the other side. SoR is the smallest server of the three in T1, but BG is not smaller than JQ. You just should get your forum warriors to the maps and stop complaining. In the week were BG ended up first, the maps were stacked with BG zergs. After that week BG started playing outmanned and still guarding a yak with 10+ people.
This permanent complaining about numbers really gets old.

I saw people from SoS sitting inside that house (we killed them with aoe to the walls and they couldn’t get out. tons of fun seeing them jumping and burning inside) – good old times.

When they mentioned guesting the first time, I thought it is an awesome feature. I could keep playing on JQ and guest to EU server to join some friends there in PvE.

Now I’m really sure that guesting even keeps me from playing on my chosen homeserver, because you forgot to stop guesting to servers which are full since december.
