We run 4, sometimes 5 for havoc. But at the moment not that often because we are needed for other things and some here have huge lag problems on any borderland.

Wow, I’m really not sure what to say without calling someone something.
I don’t know which timezone you are, but for my guild and our timezone I would really appreciate more transfers. The meta we are facing on EU prime on JQ is “sitting in a tower and scouting for hours and getting bored to death or just steamrolled” because we rarely have the manpower to get into the offensive while huge blobs running around with high numbers of omega golems trying to paint our borderland in their colors.
Sure, I could take my friends and do havoc the whole evening and letting SoR (or BG) take what our Asian and Sea had worked hard for, but that’s not what i like to do.
So please talk for yourself, take your meta to Sorrow’s Furnace or Erredon Terrace and stop kittening here in the name of JQ and the other two T1 server.

It’s always the same as it was in WoW and rogues constantly complaining how bad their class is.
Two organized thief players will always kill something – even in a group of 5 or 6 and escape, because the whole mechanic give huge advantages to the thieves. The jumping puzzle stairs are completely dark and favors classes with high mobility and escape abilities.
The only skill you really need to kill someone there is to pick the same target as your partner and find your smokefield to escape.
Stealth still needs a rework. It’s just annoying and dumb gameplay, to be able to constantly restealth and escape.
If one of those thieves would have died, he really would have earned a “l2p”.

AoS could need some EU too!

Funny thing is that I had no lag or disconnects in EB, but most my guild had. I had those problems after the reset last week. Tonight it was absolutely fine for me – and it’s not a problem with your connection or computer. I remember having this problems in another mmorpg and the problem was somewhere between the server and the carrier they used.

Huttball was awesome. I remember throwing the ball to a half dead enemy a few seconds before the end, the whole team flamed me until i pulled him to me and killed him and receiving the ball again. And all those Sith and Jedi jumped up to him.. so funny

I somehow miss it.

I guess Anet expecting this problem solves by waiting for the players stop playing.

I would like to team up with BG in EU prime if it helps our strategy, but I don’t think it’s game breaking when our 7 people join the 30 guys from BG against 30 Iron and 40 Kiss. I’m not sure what the exact numbers are on BG or SoR but I’m really sure about ours.

But no need to complain forever, we will go out there, adapt to the situation and fight as we always do.

So, i feel free to say that I wish everyone from EU and playing on EU time as much fun as possible and special greetings to HB, i really like your guild name and meeting you on the field.

BG only has a small group of MERC that stay awake (10-15), RK (10-20), and then HB on a night or two. (15-30 themselves, but Smokee and Orc draw tons of pugs to their tags).

It’s really not that large of coverage in comparison to what SoR has.

Really? Don’t forget all those people that pull overtimes. I see them every evening on EU time and I see what happens when I lead a havoc. You have more people available for guarding a yak as we can put into a borderland.
Without our Asian or Sea pulling massive overtimes, we can’t even get a treb built.
So, I really don’t care if it’s “only” 60 people we face.
Sure, SoR is the new fotm server and they can send more numbers than you, but it’s not a great difference if you meet 50 people on the field or 100 when your own group is about 15-20.

It’s not playable at the moment. I played the whole evening (EU prime) without any problems but since 17:30 server time (Jade Quarry) I have 60+ seconds lag in every fight on wvw. It’s not the skill lag you get in big zerg fights. My character doesn’t move, uses no skills, map chat responds after 1 minute.

Clearly SoR’s success has nothing to do with transfers, all core guilds,

HiRe, Tysm, Ocx, AFS, TW, IRON, SAHP etc SBI, Desolation, IoJ, SoS

At the moment regardless of how you flip the coin, SoR has Late EU/NA EST advantage which allows them to push in BG weak zone, full cap things then plant 80mans on the walls, not that hard to do. We did that to JQ back on SoS, wasn’t because JQ SEA wasn’t beastly it was because we could prepare zones for FoO logging in and we knew how to defend them.

Why do you always groan about coverage here? You’re either gloating or you’re having a cry. Never the salutes or anything. Just wah wah wah after wah wah wah. You’re so kitten rude. lol. And you weren’t even a good commander in SoS. lol. Leave all the talking to Tarkus plox.

Not sure about SoS, but MagiKarp is a great commander on BG, actually all the commanders in MERC are top-notch, and it’s a great place to learn from them and other leaders. This is purely my opinion, and my point is to not convince anyone whose mind has already been made up. I just want to make sure 3rd party looking in does not have MagiKarp reputation as a leader sullied.

A wise JQ lad in an earlier post said all commanders from all servers deserve a salute for their sacrifice – he’s right on.

Considering you’re the only JQ player who posts messages like these in match-up threads, you should consider transferring to BG where you’d fit right in.

He has always been BG. We lost players like this a while ago to DB.

I was asked by one of IRON about NA T1 and whats JQ like and all the stuff you want to know and I told them if they really want to go into T1 they had to choose between us (JQ) and SoR because BG was really stacked at EU timezone and BG seems to be a server where you can win a week and after that whole guilds stop going into wvw for weeks.
I didn’t know at this time, that all your BG guilds where pulling 16 hours of wvw per day to play all the timezones and HB and the other EU guilds aren’t there anymore.

I played with IRON on Desolation for a while and they are dedicated to wvw. So I didn’t want to sent them on a server that has 1 hour queues one week and outmanned for 23h a day the second week? That gave them two options for T1 – JQ and SoR.

Yes, it’s still blockable and it’s not worth using as long as it is. Hasn’t this been fixed a while ago?

@SharadSun.3089, I never play WvW with my warrior, but tell me this, if you equip Throw Bolas, Stomp, Balanced Stance, and Signet of Rage, and you engage someone, then you pop them out on the enemy and make a run. Are you telling me that person is able to catch up with you? Even if a thief used Shortbow/shadowstep to reach you, you can turn around and kill him because basically that thief just burned out all of his utilities and initiative…

As for Necromancers, you can equip Staff, Summon Flesh Wurm, Spectral Walk, Signet of the Locust, Summon Flesh Golem, engage an enemy, then make a run for it using your utilities. With staff you can fear/slow the enemy following you, with Death Shroud skill #3 u can fear him/her again. You can use flesh wurm for a quick teleport, and flesh golem to knock that person down. You can even have a warhorn as offset for locust swarm. I highly doubt anyone can catch you.

Just trying to prove my point, with the right utilities, you can run away easily. Might not be as easy as a thief, but still, you can do it effectively.

Yeah, because you see the thief coming and have the time to switch your traits and skills in combat and kitten yourself against any other class with it.

That whole discussion reminds on my beginnings in WoW. Same situation, only totally kittened rogues couldn’t win 1v1 or 1v2. Everyone knew how op that was, but only rogues said it’s a l2p issue. It is not, it’s a class balancing issue.
Someone should do a “world of roguecraft” video for gw2.

SoR BL just a few minutes ago; SoR zerg dropped AC’s against equal numbers first in NE camp and then 2 min later in North camp…

Everyone uses AC’s but only one group of people is deluding themselves that they don’t and come here to constantly complain about it.

yea i was in that fight, it wasn’t equal, u were more and yeah i agree its sad to see dropping AC’s at the drop of a hat, i simply stopped running with that group and moved to a different channel after i saw that.

It’s not a bad idea to drop Ac’s if you are massively outnumbered. Dropping them when even fights or you outnumber them then I can see that being annoying. Though it’s all part of the game now. Everyone needs to adjust to that.

For people who need a visual on what TW means when they use terms like massively outnumbered.

I count 15 SoR in that zerg. TW doesn’t run with more people.

I still wonder why anyone could say JQ has EU coverage? There are about 10-15 people from EU online at EU prime in wvw, my guild gets 3 to 5 in a bl, the rest are Sea/Asia/NA which play early or late.
Most of the time we are less than 10.
We can hardly build a havoc squad with EU players.

Thieves shouldn’t complain about people running from them. You can’t beat them. You can only pull a draw 1v1. Bring your zerg or ignore them.

I wish SoR could enrage like that with every unfair or unsocial behaviour, not only the ones hitting them.

Thanks for kicking the wvw players in the face again. It’s not just we have to wait for that new matchups, but what about that ac changes or the ability to switch wvw traits.
And if you are working on that matchup thing, keep working on your server performance. It’s gotten worse with every patch you had in the last two weeks.

And you claim to play for fun. Why do you keep doing such things?
And dragon’s tooth is a bug, because it’s not using a line of sight which everything in GW2 does.

It’s a shame that those screens are not allowed here and even more that you defend those exploiting with the ac. It’s ok if something like this happens one, maybe two times, but the last three days it happened too often.

And why should I care about being first. Do I get something for that what I don’t get for being 2nd, 3rd or 4th? I do wvw for good fights and fair fights (as far as the game mechanics allow it)

That bug is clearly great for BG. You don’t need to fight anymore, you can zerg roll everything with numbers and golem rush without having to think about it or just pvdoor.

I wonder why Anet just didn’t close wvw for this issue. It’s not worth playing that way.

I sit on 60 laurels atm. And I do wvw 98% of the time. Don’t know how you can ignore the daily by doing wvw.

We are a German guild and our WvW crew is in AoS now. We get some “lost” Crow back into GW2 atm, but we are not recruiting as a guild.
