Why did they make such a change from first beta, saying it would make stuff more simple, but instead made so you have less choices and builds are always full at something or nothing.

Yes but saying every class should have similar downed skills is like saying every class should wear heavy armor and have 22k base hp pool. This is the reason some classes have it worse than others while downed and also while normal.
LOL? Warriors do less damage than eles? What game are you playing? Anet seems to balance life saves towards base HP.
Warriors can crit almost 30k in full zerker gear in pve, while eles can crit 10k if lucky.
As i said, a warrior, heavy armor, lots of HP, heavy damage, shouldnt by any means be as mobile as an ele, whereever it is in downed state or not, so no, warriors will still suck while downed (not that much self ress is awesome actually) while eles will still have the best downed anti stomp since they have the lowest hp and armor in game.
What makes an ele as good as a warrior, is their skills, if you take out their skills what do we have?
My question is why do they need to be balanced?
I mean a warrior, master of heavy armor and highest HP pool they are harder than any other class to go down (with the same stats, isnt fair to compare a berserker warrior with a toughness ele), so, why do they have to be balanced? An ele with only 13k base hp against a warrior with 22k base hp and twice as much armor why do both need to have the same weak/strong downed skills? Its obvious the ele needs to have an advantage.
Please someone find us a TL;DR version of it

WHEN it works and again, its VERY unreliable. I think Downstate #2 is VERY unbalanced they should ALL do the same thing just use different animations either have it so that its an Interrupt(that works against stealth) or an Invul or Invul+movement
Imagine a warrior with vapor form and their #3 skill to go back to life HAHAHAHA, no things are fine as they are.
To the above posters, an ele has to sacrifice most of their damage to get as much survival a warrior has (good hp/toughness) while a warrior can have as much in full berserker gear, this is what i meant about light/med/heavy armor advantages, see better downed skills as a low armor advantage, stop the whinning.
By the time ure making downed skill the same for everyone, give stealth to everyone, healing(on top of #6) to everyone and aoe stability for everyone!
Why the hell would u think downed skills should be exactly as powerful for everyone, while the rest of the non downed skills arent? Not even armors are balanced light/med have not enough advantages against heavy armor, most of the time heavy armor users are better at everything than light armor users. Im talking PvE wise btw.

Unless there are more pvp game modes and better class balance before the end of the year i doubt i will be getting an expansion even if they advertise these features in the expansion =/. For now i still enjoy the game but i feel scammed for all that was promised and still not here, cant even think of an expansion now.
I suggest same downedskills for all classes, so it is fair already. Same as i suggest same underwatercombat-skills for all, to make it fair. Just saying.
Make this happen and by the way, make it so that light/med/heavy armor all gives the same defence. Seriously, thats only a few of the advantages of being light armor and you want to take it away, imo heavy armor classes shouldnt have any stomp saver at all considering how overpowered they are and have no draw backs for using heavy armor, only advantages. Stop qqing.
Please Anet add this already, even your ‘knight’ jewels dont have the knight stats they have in PvE.
Im sick of being forced to go full on something, if i want healing i need to go full healing 0 vit, if i want vit i need to go full vit and 0 healing, what if i want a little of vit and a little of healing?
PS: im not asking for gear with vit/healing on it, im asking to bring back the multiple accesories we had in the first beta where you could actually have more distributed builds not like now.

Engis are kicking kitten nowdays with some high burst spec they can survive a lot and do huge damage reminds me of d/d eles.
There must be an option to do something with the excess of fractal rings, and weapons, not to mention pristine relics once you have got both rings. They just keep growing in the bank and theres nothing you can do it with them, rather than selling for 4s which is kitten for the job it takes to obtain them.
Also crafted back pieces, like books and quivers, i made one for a character but after a time i made the fractal capacitatior which looks better, now what do i do with the book? Wasted 20g and all i can do is save it on the bank or sell it for 4s.
If you have gems, convert them to gold and then to gems again you will get less gems. I guess this is not available to prevent other people from selling gems cheaper than the BL.
Most of the dungeon set looks awful when they look awesome on other races.
Plus Arah light shoulders overlaps with every back piece you equip making it useless and ugly.
Really, most of the weapons/armor in game looks so bad on asuras, i guess is the price to pay for the tactical advantage of being small, but god they look so bad, and the only few that look good, ends up with overlapping visual animations or stuff like that, really ugly, if i wasnt so lazy to make another elemental of another race i would but not worth the effort of farming all the exotics/ascended gear.
Pretty sure it will take longer… They have still more accesory pieces to release as well, releasing weapons implies A LOT of work considering they need to make many many weapon skins and effects plus deal with the massive QQ xD
The art on this item needs to be reworked a bit, the back part of it always get overlapped with back items like fractals back books or quivers, even the quaggan, making such a beauty item look like crap and odd.
Weird my daily gets done automatically doing fotm and wvwvw the only thing i really have to worry about is gathering and crafting.
Might be this the reason i keep getting crap 90% of the time cause im more worried about supporting the group than actually doing dps.
Using light armor needs to be better rewarded, currently, having light gives no pluses in skills or viability against heavy armor users. Even a warrior with a shout healing spec can heal as much as an ele and be as viable in a group. While surviving a lot more thanks to huge hp pools and heavy armor.
Human reaction time is actually 200ms.
Which would prolly take a year or even more considering you need like 200k per level xD
Our whole party is getting dced/lagged the whole match i never had this kind of problem before.
Yup, big bug there and no one cares this was from first open beta.
More info: I didn’t start the instance so im guesting, also there are constant lag spikes before getting dced.
So, my internet is fine, but me and some others keep getting kicked from the game when doing fotm a lvl higher than the player level. Whats going on?
Yes please. To the above posters saying ‘no dm cause there are no healers, people dies in 0.5 secs bla bla bla’. This also happened in WoW even with healers, not getting into what teams but in 3v3 you could really see this happening (unless you had a paladin healer ofc).
I would love DM in this game, 2v2 and 3v3, it would be epic and thats the only game modes that fits my game time since i have no time to find 5 people.
Fractal relics comes by, what else would you spend them anyways? Considering the awful RNG on fractal weps i bet you can make 10k fractal relics by the time you get the weapon you want.
Does anyone know if this back piece gets any glow or special effect after infusing it? Or am i doomed to farm 500 ectos to make the fractal back piece glow? 500 ectos!!!!!
I also want more free movement for it, like a better zoom (increase minimum distance as well) to the point i can see the pixels of my char!
Warriors are fine. I can see them and avoid their damage. They aren’t the class that needs a nerf.
The problem thats for PvP, but in PvE they are abysmally overpowered.
I would add another option, give bosses an anti warrior mechanic, like they take 50% reduced damage from warriors, that would still make warriors do more damage than the rest.

They should also scale waypoints cost in those low level areas.
Warriors are wanted because they have max base health and armor(why? No one knows) on top of some seriously insane(why hasn’t this been balanced yet?) DPS before you even account for gear/spec. I run into people saying we need a guardian or warrior all the time in fractals and it simply isn’t true. Don’t get me wrong, they can certainly make things a heck of a lot easier(especially guardians with reflect and Aegis) but they aren’t really needed.
The main thing you want in a party member is that they aren’t idiots. I will take a competent squishy over a no-brain cell warrior/guardian any day of the week. All the health/armor/block in the world can’t save someone that has no idea how to utilize their skills correctly.
Cause they cant remove conditions so they need to have the best at all (hp, def, damage), dumb if you ask me.

Everyone saving for ascended neck
This is pretty fun, being fotm nearly the only place where you can get rares/exotics/expensive stuff, yet comments like these, are said by ANet:

This will give us a strong structure of experiences, challenges, and rewards that are balanced for a player of any level in any map and help make the social experience of playing anywhere in our game more exciting.”
They want to improve rewards, yet, they keep on destroying loot by only dropping garbage from 99% of the mobs/bosses/chests.
I wish we could get some clarification of how are we supposed to play this game in order to get the so much called ‘good rewards’ said by ANet.
The RNG has taken all over this game, i know i know you can get exotic ugly looking gear easily, but for cosmetics being end game, they should be also rewarded for some effort instead of being an RNG korean farming mmo.

At least, they should add fractal weapons to the fractal relics selling list, so that i wouldnt feel all my time was wasted at least.
It looks like the drops in this game shouldn’t really be taken serious when looking for gear, they are just a plus if you are really really lucky will get, otherwise just be happy with the tokens and get stuff with it, but if thats their way of thinking they should add all the items to the token vendor at least.
Sure fact, getting items from drops/chests isnt considered a way to get gear.
We all know drop rates are really really bad when it comes to champion/legendary bosses, but i used to get ‘good’ drops from chests like fractals of the mist 20+. Now after the past days im also getting only garbage from those chests, just as bosses, is it only me? I can’t believe they reduced the drop rate even more, even globs/shards are dropping less in fotm, the people that made those runs with me also got nothing. Like seriously i got only ONE rare item using 30% magic find food. Its getting impossible to play like this, spend hours and hours and no rewards at all.

No i went to fractals hoping to get items for MYSELF, but not even that, i cant sell it nor use it, really lame, RNG has to go when you spend a few hours doing something and get nothing back.
I dont really care about coin at all, im better getting mats from greens/blues. Just because some people dont want the idea i dont see why cant this happen, its just an OPTION, if you dislike it, dont use it.
So my first fractal weapon drop, after many many runs, was a SHIELD! An item i cant use, and im not a fan of making alts neither. So i cant sell it, i cant use it, what do i do? Salvage it? Throw it at the mystic forge? Keep it at bank taking dust?
Vengeance available straight away would be way too powerful if you consider the trait Sweet Revenge. Heck, it’s still pretty powerful as it is.
How is an ability you never get to use “pretty powerful”? You have no way to stop people finishing you off if they are more than one and it takes a month to charge up.
You cant compare going back to life, allowing you to ress allies, kill foes, even LOOT, lol, do w/e you want, to vapor form where all you can do is run away.
The comparison isn’t really fair I agree: Vapour Form is way better. It makes you immune to damage and conditions like Stun or Immobilize, guaranteeing an escape if you’re fighting near a Keep/Tower. Heck, most of the time you will be saved as long as you can rush into your friendly zerg.
In Vengeance you can be controlled and promptly beaten to death within a second of rising. There’s no way you’ll escape. And even if you do, by some miracle… did I mention that you still die when it ends?
Yes but warrior downed is so much useful, mostly in PvE, in sure u can use it in PvP as well, but eles only have vapor form. As a warrior you have this awesome vengeance and also an interrupt so you have to compare vapor form vs those two… Number 3 of eles is a joke.
Well im sure they can figure out a ‘safe’ method for it. But im getting a bit tired of running dungeons and after a while having my inventory full of 20 slot bags filled up with greens/blues trash, considering the drop rate in this game is so bad thats pretty much all you get. So i have to tell my party, “hold on guys, give 5 min to salvage all this crap” which takes and even longer thanks to the confirmation window of green items.
Can we get a ‘salvage all’ option? Something where you could salvage every item in your inventory of blue or green quality (they are useless anyways) with just 1 click, obviously giving a confirmation box and showing how many kits you would use.
