Yes this time gets unplayable for me (South america, into US server), the rest of the time is fine tho.
I can 100% guarantee to you that doesn’t happen in sPvP, ofc WvWvW with overbuffed people and ascended gear and you were prolly poorly geared.
I would like to add, starting to cast with no target, and then gaining a target before skill finishes, make it so that you hit the target instead of shooting no where. Would feel more action game.
I say remove stun breakers from decoy and mirror images as well, since they already have staff #2 and sword #2 and move them to signet of domination and veil because thats how ridiculous the changes were to eles.

So really cantrips like others have said break stuns grant regen/vigor and can either teleport to and blind/burn nearby enemies not to mention one of them grants stability. I mean seriously when armor of earth traited gives you stability-protection-regen-vigor and breaks stun you don’t think they wouldn’t consider doing something about that. Also FYI none of mesmer condi cleanses break stun.

Stating facts mate. No Mesmer stun breaker does anything other than… break stuns… With the x/x/x/30/30 build ele cantrips can currently break stuns grant a ton of boons (depending on the cantrip) cure a condition AND in some cases burn/blind enemies…. Add to it that when eles grant regen to themselves it also cures a condition and then cantrips grant regen. It synergizes nicely but pretty much in some cases you have one skill (lets take cleansing fire) that does the following.
1. Break Stun
2. Burn Foes (highest damage multiplier for conditions in game)
3. Grant 2 boons
4. Cures 4 conditions since you also get the bonus from cleansing water….And you are telling me you don’t see this as too strong?

You can always just queue for tourneys and then pretend its a Deathmatch.

I cant play any other game, because it feels slow, clunky or w/e, gw2 system is just amazing. But also i cant play GW2 because conquest is boring and repetitive and makes me only play 15 mins to do the daily and leave.
Please bring more game modes already.
Seems like they added the stunbreakers to random skills or the worst skills around. Man cleansing fire stun breaker shouldnt be removed, remove the armor of earth one -.-

Remove it from cleansing fire or lightning flash but not from both for gods sake, now cleansing fire which was already rarely used (everyone picks earth armor) will be not used at all, and everyone will just be using armor of earth instead. Remove it from that instead of cleansing fire =/
Also, no one will use signet of air nor glyph of elemental power considering how bad they are, not even with a stun breaker, i mean the only reason someone would use it would be for the stun breaker not for the effect.

Yup, some heavy server lag from South america (on US server). Getting 300+ms where i used to get 150ms, looks like im playing on europe currently.
Definitely a bug. Funny one tho.
Not to mention eles have to fully spec in water and arcana to get all you mentioned.
Maybe on the expansion pack, i also want this but i have lost my hopes, anet seems to love conquest even if it should be just a battleground rather than a competitive mode =(
Conditions are really strong right now, adding such op conditions would be lame, add something more “normal”.
Do we get a new Boon as well?
We have a fix for this incoming.
Let me also add the game does not work without some sort of minimal queing. We will continue to improve the queue to make it unobtrusive as possible as we believe the game should feel more like an action game, but due to its online nature and infrastructure some amount of queing is necessary.

Rangers and mesmers are still a bit above the “balance line”, rangers more than mesmers ofc. While warriors are still more than a bit below the line.

Just saying, pets (of all sorts, ranger pets, mesmers illusions, ele summons) already do this, they never EVER lose their targets. So it should be the same for everyone, either give players the same mechanic or remove that from pets.
Timestamps with seconds, and for gods sake add critical damage(it already shows, but just as regular damage) and condition damage. You dont have to add it all at once but do it slowly at least.
They nerfed eles main source of mobility and survival in melee range, i dont see why not add another 10 seconds cd to blurred frenzy or remove its damage (make it only defensive) be an issue
The opness about mesmers is the fact they can build full glass cannon, yet survive as a bunker. No other class (maybe thief) can do that.
Skill queing should be PvE only… maybe remove it at all.
I dont think pets regaining their target is really a good thing in PvP. They should make it so they have to send it to attack again, when the ranger loses the target due to stealth, JUST like all other classes have to. It may be bugged before but add a decent reaction time to pets and this will add some more complexity to rangers rather than spam 1 and F2 while AI does all the job for you.
However, if you insist in keeping this change, make it so tagging a player (marking it or w/e, the red circle) doesnt dissapear on target stealth, make it so that the circle is hidden while they are in stealth but appears after they come out. This is the same for rangers pet keeping their targets at the moment, funny isnt it?

I found 2v2 pretty balanced with a small flavor for mesmers. For the exception of warriors every class did pretty well, and teams staying for long were just teams with good players(and mesmers mostly) and there was always a team that could bring them down after a time.
Only thing 2v2 shows is how bad warriors are in sPvP at the moment. Not sure if terribly balanced or bad builds.

and now just because a ranger invests over 60points in pure tank you want to nerf the health/dps of the pet, and make it even more useless as it is now in everything but tanking in pvp? fine, but reduce the health on the ele by 6,000 health in pvp and pve.
nerfing a ranger that puts 30points into BM will make the pet completely useless for those who have 0points in it. why dont you try playing the class that has it’s DPS slashed because of an npc that follows it around? i guess rangers are only allowed to have 1 viable build in PVP and PVE instead of 2?

Eles cant disengage anymore whenever they want. Eles got hit by the nerfbat already.
Eles also spend ALL of their traits mostly into surviving(water/arcane), cause 12k hp for a melee light armor user is a big facepalm
Just be happy your build can be only seen in spectator mode, other games usually let people inspect you in any zone.
Also joining a custom arena is not a “need” like washing your private parts. You can play the game without joining custom arenas with spectator mode, but i dont think you can live without cleaning ur parts, ugh.

Rangers can outbunker any bunker spec in game, while dealing balanced damage (the damage of a non bunker, balanced spec).
In the other hand, mesmers can survive like another class specced into semi bunker, while still being glass cannon, due to their high amount of invuls, stealth and CC. Both op imo

Pull radius needs to be reduced. This + Daze shatter + GS knock down + chaos storm, over 5 seconds of low cd on demmand aoe CC.
you’re pretty pathetic if you think your class is dead just because they put it in it’s place. dumb bunker builds healing right through my damage and getting away from what should be kills is ridiculous. and then to top off the cherry on the kitten pie, they can burst me down just as fast? you deserve to be nerfed.

I love how they nerfed everything but they cant still fix lightning whip and firegrab missing 90% of the time even if you are right in front of your enemy.

They were always like that, now even better, people was just too busy crying about eles. But they are actually way better than eles, lots of dodges, regen and protection high uptime, higher damage than what a d/d bunker ele can pull. AND THEY ARE EASY TO PLAY, they just send their pet, doing nothing, and spam 1 while using other dodge skills and the enemy dies. While eles have to time everything and aim manually to land a skill.
The 2v2 rooms are fun but eventually they have turned into everyone running the same mesmer build, or getting stomped by 2 mesmers running the same build.
You have clearly not played the 2v2 rooms.
I can almost say fights were BALANCED (YES!), we had a winner stays / loser leaves setup and there was never a dominant team, they could win 2 or 3 fights but there was always another team that ended up stomping them.
This game 2v2s are way more entertaining than wow, since theres still team coordination but it isnt all about getting cced 24/7 while ur other guy dies, or dealing with endless pillar huging + kiting fights.
I think 3v3 would get a little bit messy, havent tried it yet, how about someone make a 3v3 room as well?
Been doing 2v2 in a room all day, matches are really interesting and entertaining to watch and play. This needs to be added to a pvp competitive/ranked mode ASAP.
Add a queue on the teams, so you dont have to spam the join red/blue button to get in. Should be easy.
They were already op before the update, but no one noticed it because everyone was too busy complaining about eles. Now that eles are normal scratching the underpowered ground, and rangers got a small buff, yeah, they are noticed now.
Rangers, the new d/d eles. Better bunkering, better heals, 100% uptime protection and never endless dodges. Huge damage with bunker spec. GG

They are pretty, pretty strong, i can say they are best 1v1 spec/class atm. However in a team fight they aint that overpowered so i guess its fine.
Not to mention they are also the best 1v1 both downed class as well, if you go downed against a ranged you lost.
