Is it just me or does it feel like a lot of TC are using this as a by-week? Our turnout this weekend seems to be almost abysmal. It feels like a lot of people took a break this week, and its showing.
I’m not worried at all, and I mainly play a guardian now.
Boon Hate will be a nonfactor. The only issue it will bring is with axe warriors if they manage to hit a guardian that just popped Save Yourselves. Then Boon Hate will hurt, a lot. Boon Hate only affects the F1 Skill in terms of increased damage. So, unless I see someone running an axe build, I won’t be too worried.
And besides, I have two dodges and invulnerability, hue hue hue.
Already posted, probably 100x, GM Answer. At this time there is no asuran technology that can change a character’s dna. This means NO.

I have a character that may have been born a human, but he believes he is an Asuran on the inside! He can feel it in his heart and in his soul! In order to bring equality to him, I would like to see race changes implemented in the game as a paid service!

Allowing players to change their race is something that many players want.
Define “many”. I don’t want race changes, nor do I want to see spam threads like these every day.
Like you said all these you call “spam” threads tell you how “many” players want a race change.
If you don’t want it, you don’t have to buy it.

Five people out of a GW2 population of 1 million+ is not “many”, no matter what sort of spin you put on it.

Giving options and ideas are fine. Starting a new thread almost daily about the same thing isn’t and is the reason why these threads tend to either get merged or locked very quickly. You want the devs to pay attention to your ideas? Then keep the discussion in a single thread where they’ll actually read it. Starting new threads day in, day out on the same topic is little more than spamming.

The cost to race changes should be high enough to make it not profitable to constantly race change. I would suggest 1200 to 1600 gems. What you get from the story would barely begin to pay back the cost it would be to race change. There can also be a limit on the amount of times you can race change a week. So lets say once a week or twice a month.
Cultural armor would switch to the races that you transfer to. So if you are wearing human T2 and switch to Charr, your armor would switch to Charr T2 armor.

The PS story rewards are a JOKE. If it makes people feel better, after a race change, the personal story doesn’t include rewards. There, simple fix. Everyone is happy.

I find it amusing that leveling and gearing characters is your definition of what you need to do to deserve something that doesn’t make any sense. Moreso I find it worse that someone who has leveled so many characters feeling the need to do this.

Looks more Chinese than Korean. Their, China’s, first closed beta is starting next month. Are you playing from Asia? Is your login page different, as in another flag other than the four we normally get? Maybe one of the language files for the China release got mixed up in the last build/patch.

Way too many problems and each solution for the problems only creates more problems.
You’re saying you want a race change. Propose a way for that to happen that addresses all the problems without creating new ones. For all you know the reason it’s not on their list is because they don’t see a way for it to be done and not make it a pay to win option in the cash shop.
Plus, the bait and switch title you have probably turns the devs off to whatever solution you propose. Not to mention other posters. Personally your thread title vs contents makes me wish they never implement it. Because why should they reward liars?

Any feedback is good feedback, it gives you vibe for at least what part of the community is feeling, that being said, some of the complaints are legitimate. This game was touted as having a huge PvP aspect, and Anet for the most part has done little to fix it. They are just now getting around to fixing sPvP and WvW, and still have a long way to go. For some reason they seem to be focused on this games PvE, but should also know that probably a third of their player base is PvP oriented and if they don’t add a lot of content and fixes soon then they will loose a lot of players as new mmorpgs are slowly coming out.
I still want that dueling party! Can we start making plans!?!? Tomorrow behind the big windmill? Or would Thursday work better for you? I know of several folks that are really looking forward to it!

I keep getting asked personally through whispers to GvG with VK but I am extremely put off in doing so because of this toxic forum attitude displayed before me.
Just remember, similarly to how the perception we attain from the few on this forum isn’t indicative of the entire server, the attitude you receive from one or two isn’t indicative of an entire guild.

We don’t have a perception that the entire server is bad, but that it is mostly rotten with a few good apples. Right now there is nothing that separates Mag from FA to me, other then the fact that FA currently has more numbers and Mag is purely about the fights, far more so then FA. A lot of people from FA have said they are purely about fighting, but then complain about loosing. If all the server cares about is fights, there is no reason to complain about zergs as I’ve seen FA field equal numbers or more multiple times, and either crush us or get crushed.
TL;DR: If you don’t want people to leave a bad taste about VK, don’t have them post with a VK tag. Also, if FA cares only about fighting, people as a whole need to stop the QQ.
Question to FA and KN, out of curiosity, but are your WvW communities just as happy and excited to WvW at the end of the week (not with just THIS week, but I mean historically and lately to now), or do you have your moments across the week?
From an FA perspective, it feels like our best attendance is on reset night and over the weekend. Our weekend scoring definitely reflects that. Forum warriors aside, I think our population base skews towards the college/workforce age groups, which typically means we have less participation during the week. It has seemed like this both recently but also dating back to our tier 3 days.
Also some of our bigger WvW guilds have meetings and/or bounty nights scheduled during the week, which drops attendance on random nights.
We also have the same things going on. The problem is, you guys seem to get a lot of fairweather players out on the weekend, then come monday, your forces shrink dramatically. We’ve had the same problem on TC before. Since we are an RP server though, all we have to do is throw a dolyak parade to get people to come out. Not sure what the answer is to you guys getting more militia to come out.

Badges mean nothing as you have nothing to spend them on, should let us donate badges. Happily donate to people I see setting up siege or running supplies with me.
They are more useful now that you can get stats other than Invaders/Soldiers with them.
Not really, you still pay half the crafting cost of an item, so if you have some mats saved up, your better off going with crafting, If they made those items cost ‘just’ badges then yes I would agree.
As a guy whose leveled up and paid for Exotic gear on 7 characters, the gear you can now get with badges is much cheaper then what you can buy it for. It saves you far more then “half” what you can buy the armor piece for.
I like my build, the problem is, I feel like it’s the only one that exists, at least for WvW.
I run the generic 0/5/30/30/5 AH/PoV/Emp Might shout build, with a hammer and staff. I have 35% crit chance, 65% crit damage, 18k health, 3k attack, and 3k armor.
I hate not having any real utility. The stability/regen/prot uptime is great, I guess, but being a stat box doesn’t let me really explore the possibilities of the class. I’ve thought about putting 10 into virtues, but it feels required to have altruistic healing, just because it’s so ridiculously good.
I don’t know how to tackle the altruistic healing problem, but maybe I know how to fix the pure of voice debacle…
I run shouts for two reasons, namely:
1. Condition Removal
2. Stability
I would love it if some normally under utilized weapon sets would be able to take on these roles, so that not every guardian has to trait the same way. Stability instead of protection on shield would be great, or maybe condition removal on sword might help.

Simple question…. whats better? The greatsword or the hammer?
Both have many purposes in PvE and PvP for both aoe and single target but generally which one is better? Just wondering what opinions people have and what are their reasons for thinking so.
I have 7 classes @ lvl 80 with all having multiple exotic gear sets. My favorites are my Ele and my guardian. My necro and thief are fun as well. Warrior is overall kinda dull but fun on occasion, and my mesmer and ranger are meh.
All in all, I wish I could “refund” four of the characters I made and the gold I spent on them. Its really sad to think I could have 2-3 characters geared out and enough money to buy/make 1 legendary.
AoN’s strategy is to run, unless they can win. We all know it. We basically ignore them till we know we can trap them and the rule is, if you die to AoN its because you weren’t where you were supposed to be. That’s why the zerg doesn’t bother turning around to save people. In an odd way, AoN strengthens the zerg.
I do think what they do is effective though, and certainly I have seen them kill larger numbers than themselves. When they are on the BL, we are very aware of it.
