All I have to say is I just wanted the Abaddon fractal, if it isn’t added, PvE on this game is dead for me, the temp content in this game sucks, I only ever liked fractals and just wanted the Abaddon fractal, if I don’t get it, and skill lag issues persist in WvW, this game is its own endgame.
Not all servers are interested in fighting the BG blobs all the time.
JQ got sick of it, TC is sick of it. Honestly, SoR would probably be sick of it if they weren’t used to it from T2 and is mostly full of stubborn diehard people.
But BG finally got what they’ve always wanted, un-competitive wins.
Oh the irony. TC crying after 2 weeks in the matchup they always wanted. Don’t worry, maybe you’ll trade places with DB next week and you can pretend to be T1 material again when you face a T3 server.

Next time when one of the fairweathers on SoR or BG QQ about 2v1 and cry that they aren’t winning, I’ll remember that they speak for everyone on that server.
I like the reduced waypoint cross, thats my one reason to vote for kiel. As a WvW’er, it annoys me that the PvE’ers QQ about everything involving WvW. From the kites in the jp, to the badges for legendaries, map completion, etc.
Since WvW drops a ton of tokens, I’ll be sure to keep turning them in to support of Kiel, so I can get a laugh out of all the PvE QQ about being deprived of the Abbadon fractal.
TL;DR Reduced waypoints are great, pve carebear QQ is so sweet.
I had fun last night in EB. Outmanned all night and had about 15 strong doing nothing but poking and jabbing at the SoR and BG megablobs. That was some of the most fun I had in a while.
I hate BG for constantly flipping our Anz and Mendons several; times, but it was good xp flipping it back.
TC either makes or breaks a bandwagon server. Either we push a servers resolve to recruit, bring in more people, and push to the top, or the hit T2, meet us, and break like the oceans wave. Some servers have gone on to be monsters, some have quickly imploded, but we are the gatekeepers, and we will not easily let a server reach T1 without a fight.
We are Zombie coast, and we will keep coming back from the dead.

I’m just not seeing how this is anyone’s fault but your own.
When you’ve never used a total makeover kit and doesn’t know anyone who has, it was kind of up in the air.
However, it seems like a bad design to not a name change when changing to a female character. At the very least, there should be a warning on the kit that there is no name change when switching sexes.
There should be a port that allows you to go there after completing any one of the home BL Jp’s once you get into the treasure room. Leave it a gankfeast.

Hey, I was interested in picking up my ranger again, but was looking for gear/build for WvW. I was really interested in the apothecary bunker build, and was wondering what traits, armor + trinkets, weapons, and pets are used.
Stealth isn’t bad in it’s current form. However, I think aegis/blocks/stuns should be the counter to stealth. If you block an attack with a block or aegis, it should reveal. If i thief gets stunned via static field/supply drop, whatever, it should also reveal. All classes have access to one of these I believe.
If you really want tanking ability while outputting some dips. Roll pvt armor, berserker weapons, and magi armor. Use mace/focus, and for the second weapon set, use whatever you want.
You should always carry one of every weapon on you, as you never know when you’ll need it. I find I typically only use scepter in arah and when attacking keeps in WvW.
The aethorized weapons are cool, but right now the price point is way too high. The only skins i really like are the rifle and the pistol, and I may get those for my engi.
The other weapons look ok. I would wait a bit though before you purchase them, or before you sell them.
What do you define as normal play Zudet? I’m always curious about what people mean as normal play without defining what they are talking about.
I’ll be a little upset when they nerf dungeon runs, as I love to do quick CoF runs to earn a little cash every day. I really wanted to get some destroyer weapons, so about 3 days of multiple runs on 3 toons plus cashing in on 380k for orrian boxes earned me the cash i needed to craft a destroyer focus/sword/greatsword. I really hope they don’t nerf this element of farming.
While some people don’t enjoy farming, this kind of mindnumbing farming has a certain level of fun for me. I enjoy it! It’s a break from WvW, the money isn’t bad, and generally allows me two watch a movie or two. I really wish anet wasnt so crazed about nerfing all types of farming, as some of their players, I’m sure, actually enjoy it.
guardian shield is a horrible weapon, outside some niche uses, i want the shield that has a block also.
It doesn’t seem right that the focus is better at blocking damage / protecting then a shield?
Ofcourse some people wont be happy as they already have their focus and people fear change, but i would like focus block on shield, and or just re-vamp shield completely.
yes, let’s give good skill to one weapon set so it can be fulfilling and everyone who want to use can do it.

I’m sorry, but Shield and Focus are both viable weapons. By pushing the skills you deem unviable onto the Focus, you’re essentially forcing people off the Focus.
It’s like saying: “Oh hey, everyone’s using Hundred Blades, let’s put it onto Sword!”
hahaha nobody has said the weapons arent viable! I bet you didnt read the entire thing. All that has been said is; it would fit more thematically as well as visually, while still retaining functionality.
No, it fits better that the focus retains its current status. The block it gives is more offensive. The damage it gets if it does get 3 blocks in is really good. If anything, shield 4 needs to provide another boon like fury or do a little bit of damage. Otherwise, its fine the way it is.
We still have a lot of room to grow, but we dont have good 24/7 coverage yet, at least not to be able to allow us to compete with the other t1’s as much.
Still waiting for a TC/BG/SOR matchup. Every matchup so far since the change has been rather bland. I think BG will look to TC to help knock SoR down a peg, and I’ll be out there in full force when that happens.

I’d love a chance at having another crack at SoR with another server that can compete on the same level or above i.e BG or SoR. I’d like a chance to put a beating down on sor and see how we do with two t1 servers in the same matchup as us, which hasnt happened yet.

It’s the FA double standard of blobbing up while complaining about blobbing and talking about their superior small squad teams busting big zergs which never happens. When AoN came to FA to “bust TC zergs” they got ran over by the TC freight train or laughed at and ignored.
As long as JQ brings some open field fights this week, I’ll be happy to meet them and the loot that it brings. I would say the same for FA but now that BT is gone, there doesn’t seem any guild zergs large enough to go toe to toe with TC or JQ zergs, and the FA pug zergs get wiped pretty easily.
To be fair, AoN are actually quite good, as were BT before they split into small guilds (VK took their best, iirc, and then split themselves. I think those players make up SIC (?) these days – am I right Alaric?)
There are definitely FA numbers to combat TC and JQ zergs, they just don’t have coverage to do it 24/7, like TC doesn’t have coverage to combat JQ 24/7. We’ll all fight where and when we can, getting as many lootbags as we can hold (and then merching so we can pick up the rest.)
Every server has good, mediocre and bad players. There’s no exception to this rule. There are no entrance exams to get into any server. Similarly, every server has good, mediocre and bad commanders. The good ones get crazy respect and big zergs, the mediocre ones are followed by at least their guild, and a decent number of militia, and by and large the bad ones get ignored fairly quickly. :P
Currently TC is missing a couple of it’s ‘big name’ commanders (Chuu is on sabbatical, Nightlight has no internet other than his tethered iPhone), which means we don’t really have those HUGE server zergs for long periods of time. We’ve done fairly well in splitting our forces the last couple of nights, imo. It’s still a learning experience for us, but we’re trying. :P

AoN? You mean the 5 guys that posted embarrassing videos of wiping large groups and harassing your reinforcements leaving spawn? lol, ya, you sure showed them. Freight train was about all you could muster to keep them in check. GG indeed.
Not sure if you remember that BT only had about 20 people on during the evening, but you can call them a zerg if you want.
If embarrassing video’s you mean the ones of them killing stragglers that were way out from the tail then yes? Harrassing reinforcements from spawn? Such a challenge. BT had a lot more then 20, but ok.

I miss the days when RET, GODS, and BT were big and a force to be reckoned with. The current FA seems like a hallow husk of its former glory.
As much fun as this back and forth has been, as much as I hated old FA, I do miss the fights that the server used to bring nightly, back when both were pretty evenly matched.

LOL, this is true, the ladies on TC have a little more class than the ones I’m used to dealing with.
But I don’t think i could possibly be mad about last night. Repairs were free and wiping groups over and over was my pleasure. The amount of loot at that tower was absolutely awesome and I managed to go from 12,777 kills to 13,306 very quickly.
You sure talk/brag a lot about getting loot bags and clearly you’re active in WvW and on the forums. But why are your kills so low if you’re so OP? Seems like something isn’t adding up here… just saying
Since I work and have a family, I can’t spend thousands of hours playing. My game time over the last year was spent with a small roaming 5 man group so I haven’t enjoyed the same level of zerg farming as others. I’m never in EB and usually roaming a BL with a few others.

Neither can I, I have only played since mid December. I have a family too. I just had to poke fun at you for being a braggart. When I started out in WvW I did the roaming thing myself, it’s a good way to learn your class. I’ve only been heavily active in WvW since February/March.
I wasn’t bragging to be the big man in here, I just find iCryptik’s comments funny since we farmed DIS last night and he tried to act like taking a tower from an outmanned FA group was impressive. To each their own i suppose.
I remember wiping to FA once last night after I got on, and that was in the tower. I do, however, remember farming FA several times after that, including stomping out PD and another small man group XiVa or something like that.
In the end I came out with pockets loaded with coins and another stack of badges sitting in my bank.

I’ve been working on making some destroyer lodestones and have been noticing a slow incline in price.
They seemed to be at a stable 97s buy order, now climbing to over a g. The worst part is people keep placing buy orders several silver over the current buy order asking.
I don’t understand why people keep posting more then 1c over the buy order. >.>
He’s not broken. Just hard. Players with skill and knowledge of the game’s mechanics have won.
I would hardly call it “skill” at this point. The fact that he can constantly spam his special skill is annoying, I’ve come close to beating him, I’ve even “tied” with him, but no matter what, he’s just spams that skill way to much.
The fact that most of the people that I know who beat him had to use a regen booster is pretty telling of how hard he is. I think he shouldn’t be easy, but at this point he’s a little overtuned.

This is a horrible idea and you are all horrible for thinking of it AND then contributing to it.
There is NO good reason for this to happen. None. At All.
Your character IS a certain race and they ARE a certain profession and that should not be changeable because it just doesn’t make any sense for it to be.
If you truly want a change you have 5 character slots and if you are honestly using all of those you could always purchase another character slot. If your problem was that you didn’t want to level again I would have to point out a couple of things:
*Leveling does not take long at all
*IF you would consider a 3-4k gem purchase that is the equivalent of 90g in game, more than enough to level 1-80 by crafting alone.

Here’s a little story. I have 8 80’s one of which was a human warrior. Well I decided that I didn’t like a human as a warrior, I wanted a charr. Now I don’t care for the personal story or any of this games terrible PvE content, and it’s because of this stupid living story restriction that I couldn’t have paid a fee and simply ha a race change. I want to change two other characters, but after goin through the experience, until a race change is implemented, I’d rather not give Anet any more money buy buying any more character slots or buying any products on their store.
TL;Dr your way of thinking is rife with stupidity, and its not always as simple as just reroll.
It is a stupid mechanic to force people to go into a map where they are going to get camped. The JP has NOTHING at all to do with pvp and if you think it does you are clearly delusioned. The EB JP is pvp ONLY if you see that your server has more people than the other servers.
Then you camp the other servers to annoy them and stop them from completing their achieves. THAT is what the pvp is about in there. It is not and never is anything else but 5 to 10 versus 1 or 2.
People simply camp as a group and as soon as they do not have the numbers they run away. People also purposefully pull, kill or disturb players at the part after the dark room. Campers stay on top and range the players trying to climb up. The choke there is the best griefing spot as it requires to redo the dark room which blows donkeys.
There is nothing fun in this JP UNLESS…you are doing it without being bothered then it is fun OR you are the griefing team and you enjoy making people fail.
NOTHING about the EB JP has anything to do with pvp it only has to do with larger groups blocking others from completing achieves. Being hit from a distance without being able to do anything and getting killed from above in the animals cages part is NOT pvp…its just a kittenblock and a means for sadistic players to have their fun
Finally was able to transfer back over to the coast tonight to rejoin the DIS crew.
Had some late night battles in the eb jp, however, some of the least fun since leaving mag. FA put up some decent players to try to take back the jp even when outnumbered, Ebay runs away unless they outnumber the opposition, and the thieves, oh lord.
The amount of thief spamming 2 2 2 2 2 2 2 is quite funny, especially because i didn’t even have a single thief land their initial backstab. Someone please teach the thief from Para to unbind that key and learn the rest of their skills.
