I keep getting selling errors after I sell X amount of goods in the AH. I have to close the window, then reopen to reset so I can sell again. Really annoying, seems like it happens after selling a certain amount of different items.
I’m not a Gold seller or anything, just a regular player trying to get rid of items for gold.
They need a better way to stop auto-attack, it you need to be able to toggle it off, the option where is suppose to stop when you switch targets doesn’t seem to work, or at least last time checked.
Looks like another long week of nothing to do in WvW past the initial 3or 4 days of reset.
Right now WvW just ends up with one team dominating then there isn’t much to do until the next match up. This is a game breaking problem that should been addressed by now. Are the devs even playing WvW? I wonder myself.

Well free transfers did upset the server balance yes, but there are other problems such as the orb bonus needs to be changed, because right now it just snowballs the winning team into being even more powerful.
Anet can’t make people participate in WvW, but if you give them a chance to at least compete somewhat they will come. A hopeless situation just means the snowball effect of people leaving, then there are even less so more leave, then eventually almost no one is playing from the losing server.

Downed state would be better just left in PvE, it does hinder smaller groups. Orb bonus is wrong and needs to change as well as ending free transfers.
We don’t hear much from Anet on WvW, it needs some work very soon, but maybe they are so busy with stopping hackers, bots, and bugs they haven’t got the time for real changes yet.
Don’t’ forget people logging out while in battle just before they die, it is just as bad or worse.
Seriously they need to do something to fix WvW. Free transfers was a mistake beyond the first few days past release. It will never work itself out now it is time for intervention on the dev’s part to fix this mess with the top 3 or 4 servers.
Rift was fun until end game, then it became to much like WoW. Elitist jerks, and OPed gear, no thanks.
This wasn’t a problem in beta testing was it? Unless there was less players in beta. It almost seems like a bandwidth issue, but not sure.
If I’m not mistaken you can just select to see the battle log as the other person said. With WvW though it is nice to know what is going on and just put the kiddies on ignore.

Ok maybe I am having a brain fart, but I bought some salt packets and they are not showing up in my Discovery crafting menu? Is this a bug or am I not seeing something here?
I played Rift before GW2, I think they are both good games and enjoyable, both better than WoW. Keep in mind Rift has been out longer so they had time to fix and tweak. GW2 though you don’t have to pay $15 a month to play, so that to me is a huge advantage.
Yes the cheating in this game is getting out of hand and they do need to update the report menu.
Even built in exploits like logging out while in battle should have been removed by now.
Same, the smaller battles are fine, but after a certain amount of people it is bad, almost everyone is gone. I even ported back to my base, and the npc’s and everyone was still invisible. I had to log out and back in to see people again.
Was going into a orb room to fight the boss and everyone but one guy went invisible, my team and the other team. So I end up dying, and warped back to my spawn point and still everyone was invisible. I had to log out and back in to fix it. Never had this happen before until this last patch.
Honestly this game has some of the most beautiful scenery out of any game I played I don’t think I could pick one, and also the music is well done too and does add to the atmosphere.
Agree, I seen this happen often, simple fix is no logging out when in battle or delay of at least 20 seconds.
1. End the free server transfers, damage has already been done, stop the bleeding.
2. The Orbs, change the orb bonus to increase drop rate, gold find, karma gains, NOT stat bonuses which make the winning team even more powerful and impossible to the point people just give up.
Well I think it has been plenty long enough with the free transfers, it needs to end so WvWvW can settle down.
I agree the free transfers have already hurt WvWvW, and they need to end it. It just creates snowball effect of people leaving servers to join already heavy winning servers, along with orbs making the winning teams even stronger.
I don’t plan on leaving CD, most of the people are pretty decent and when we aren’t taking on guild heavy servers we do pretty well in WvWvW.

I got an mail in game from “web:WTSGOLD.COM”, The delete button for the mail was grayed out. However the was <Return to Sender> button was usable, I clicked return to sender button and it sent the email back to me again and now it list me as the sender so I can not even report it as I would be reporting myself.
Have Orbs grant: exp, item drop, karma boost instead of stat boosts.

Maybe this was already suggested, but to help balance out WvWvW a bit more. Currently orbs give the winning side even more power and it makes the other team(s) just give up and quit.
I thought by changing the Orbs bonuses to things like exp, item drop and karma boosts would be better, instead of creating a even bigger imbalance by boosting the dominating sides stats.
It seem to like high clock speed.
I noticed I was standing near a chair, just in front of it in the game, the chair itself was snapping the camera close in. Objects shouldn’t snap the camera in as if it was a wall.
Night capping to me isn’t a big deal, because soon as it is daytime they will get taken back and you get exp, point, karma, etc for doing it anyways. Adding more guards is almost useless pointless beyond stopping very small groups from easy caps.
Spying is lame, and your idea may be good, only other way is to limit all toons to the one server you pick and that is it. So one server must have ALL your toons. So you want to transfer you don’t transfer one toon, you transfer all of them. Then some lamer would have to own two game accounts and log out of one into another to spy, discouraging it even more.
The orb : What could be done is have the orb increase drops, drop quality, increase exp, karma, instead of stat boosts causing more imbalance.
Today I swear there was some strange stuff going on as well, some one else noticed it on team chat. This one guild on Jade Quarry was suspicious, judging by the guild name is was an Asian guild. Could have been lag, but I don’t think it was.
In a game that really has no end game content, where the point is to hit 80 , farm , sell, farm, sell , farm sell, get gold, level your proffs, make gear, having the trading post down as much as it has been can really halt what you are doing. Lets face it after 80 and maxed proffs the game is really just dress up.
Well there is PvP, world PvP, that is a never ending game that can be played just for the fun of it if nothing else.
I have an i3 3.3Ghz and my frame rates are pretty good, over double what you are saying. Core speed is most important. You want at least a 3Ghz or more.
I have to agree the Elite skills are pretty underwhelming and consider many or most take a long time to cast.

I hardly ever use shatter. I just assume use my clones for a diversion from me.
I think some people are stuck in the traditional end game elitist dungeon raiding mindset.
To me most MMO’s endgame is lousy elitist jerk dungeon grind, and repeated dungeon raiding with elitist jerks isn’t fun to me.
At least GW2 gives you a fun WvWvW game to play during and after you hit lv80, along with a fun easy to group, PvE content all the way there. This is great for people who don’t want to put up with "guild drama, and jerks telling you about how much dps you need to have.
Some say it isn’t sociable enough, I disagree, since groups are easy to form and play together I feel more sociable than with standard MMO formulas.
When I cast Time Warp, confusion bubbles appear. Is this suppose to happen?
I’m not sure if it always occurs or a just random thing, I’m also not sure if the confusion condition is even occurring, or just the message bubbles.

the 500 and below series seem to be running just fine. for instance, i have a 580 and it runs everything smoothly, wvw included. my friend has a 660 or whatever crazy number it is up to now and he gets incredibly bad performance.
it’s pretty strange and i hope this issue gets figured out.
I noticed that too, most people with the worse fps problems have the newer cards most often. I have 460, and haven’t had such serious problems as others, although WvW could use some optimization.
Is the game being CPU Bound something they will optimize?

Sadly it is probably your CPU speed. Just because it is an i7, apparently it still needs have high clock cycles. I only have as i3 but it is 3.30 Ghz and it game runs pretty good outside of huge pvp battles around large buildings then the FPS drops into the teens or worse in extreme cases once in a while.
PvE almost is never a issue and usually between 40 and 60+.
using a MSI Cyclone 460 graphics card.
Mesmer has light armor and low dps, he has nothing left but tricks to survive.
World PvP exploit, Keep Walls/Doors trapping attackers, possible fix suggestion.

I see this exploit occurring of trapping keep attackers inside the keep by letting them destroy a wall or door then repairing a little and it quickly pops back up again trapping a small amount of attacking team inside to get slaughtered. This to me is an exploit, and very unrealistic and should be fixed.
How to fix this is simple:
Once an keep is under attack and a wall or door ends up in a state of being completely destroyed, it can not be rebuilt until the attack has stopped. Alternative way is you can put a time limit on completely destroyed walls or doors of say 5 minutes before it can be repaired again. One or the other should solve this unrealistic exploit.
Mesmer isn’t a dps class to me, they are more of a trickster class. You have to keep that mindset with them.
I enjoy the class because of all the little tricks you can play, but I prefer to be in a group in WvW, they can make nice keep defenders if you use them correctly.
You can do good one vs one pvp, but I prefer to avoid it really.
Well I am pretty sure I cast it on people, did it multiple times, maybe it only works with people you are partied with then?
With you PC specs this game should run great, maybe you have to many processes running in the background.
I did noticed after a recent patch a decrease in FPS in WvW. Lions Arch I didn’t notice much change.
Get the latest beta driver from Nvidia, and make sure you turn off Ambient Occlusion in the 3D options for Nvidia. Also turn off Post Processing in the game might help.
I thought noticed a drop in frames per second in WvW too since this last update.
I been trying to use this spell in world pvp, does this only work on players in your party?
I tried using it on friendly downed players that I grouped with, and didn’t seem to do anything.
Yes I had the same thing happen to me on Phase Retreat, two times I ended up under a floor, once in world pvp and once on the story scenario. As many times as I used it, doesn’t happen often though. The world pvp I ended up under water trapped under a dock structure. I think the time it occurred during the story was in some guys lab fighting a large crab like boss and its babies.
I agree, I have issues with my little guy on the top of keeps in world pvp. The camera keeps snapping back and forth as if there was something behind me when there isn’t. Hard to explain but I am sure others must have this problem as well. Only way to stop it is zoom my camera up close but then I can’t see below to target players attack the keep. It a pain especially with the short little guys who have to jump on top of the ledge in order to even target below because they are so short.
