I disagree. I have many hours of nothing but duels under my belt and because of that, I have increased my skill level against 1vs2 and 1vs3 situations. I have every class mechanic down due to duels. When I’m going 1vs2 in a Tournament and trying to take a node, I know when to back off and go elsewhere. I know my characters capabilities and other class capabilities due to duels. I can’t tell you how many times I have been challenged by a WvW zerger to a duel. 90% of the time they lose. There character skill level is below par. They have this ‘zerg’ mentality. When they are out in the open all by themselves, air to there back and nothing but hand/eye coordination they crack under the pressure.

As for Chronix and his video, he’s an excellent player. The opponents in the video I have no idea of there skill level.

After seeing the CPU specs for the PlayStation 4 and the rumored CPU specs for the Xbox 720. Anet will need to do a major rewrite of their game engine if they plan on porting it over to the next generation consoles or it will run even slower then it does on our PCs. The new consoles will be using the AMD jaguar 8 core processor that runs at only runs at 1.6 GHz. The last time I checked GW2 needs 2 cores running at 4.5Ghz+ to run good in PvP.

If they made CoF p1 harder the casuals that complain that they can’t join a speed run group would prob not be able to do it at all and it would be like half the other dungeons that no one does.

CoF isn’t the best gold per hour dungeon even, it’s just pretty good and fairly chill with a low skill cap to be sucessful at it. There would be plenty of other places similar to CoF to move too but they would be more demanding and more elitest then before. If they nerfed all dungeons then the only people that could afford anything would be credit card gold buyers, expoiters, and trading post players.

Or these so called “casuals” would actually get better at the game.

@Waraxx: It’s not only a CoF thing. Everywhere in PvE berserker gear works best by far. Using pvt or clerics or knights (well, an anchor should throw in some knight pieces) are just suboptimal – they suck.
A 5 berserker group is going to do every dungeon in this game faster and easier than a group of random armor sets.

And then A.Net actually implements interessting fights and all the zerkers will complain about it. Those tears will be delicious

CoF devalues my money. Please rework this dungeon. The atmosphere of this dungeon is awesome and p3 prenerf was a good challenge ( haven’t tried it postnerf).

So, i have to make some gold. i am tired of CoF p1 farming, orr farming events and farming corrupted lodestones in FS. Is there any other ways to make gold? I dont mind farming, i actually enjoy it. Except farming the same places over and over gets boring.

This picture shows a guardian using a weapon in their left hand, yet I have yet to figure out how to make my weapon and shield be switched. People in my guild says it’s not possible and I can’t find anything on the internet showing how to do it. If it’s not possible then why did NC-Soft release advertising art showing a characters being left-handed? Wouldn’t this be false advertising? Because I get really dysphoric watching my character swing his weapon right handed to the point I really don’t think I can play this game.

Guardians and axes? This doesn’t fit at all. 2Hand Axe sounds like a 1 profession only weapon which would be a total waste.

No, I love it. The sheer amount of “unoffical” jumping puzzles is awesome. I love exploring orr and I love discovering new hidden areas.

You know, you can create guilds in GW2. Making guilds specific for each dungeon and representing them if you are looking for a group could solve all of your problems.
