I never liked the WvW or fractals being in the monthlies either. But it didn’t matter so much before. Now that you get laurels from monthlies, it does matter. Since the point was always that you can play how you like to play and not be left behind in anyway. Now people are kind of “forced” to do things they don’t like, if they want those 10 laurels. 10 days worth of dailies.

No they are not. If you don’t want to do dungeons you don’t need exotic gear, if you don’t want to do fractals at all you don’t need to bother with ascended gear.

Maybe you don’t know but febuary lasts for 28 days. That means that you can salvage 17 items each day and reach the goal without breaking your mouse!

the daily do not take more than 15min to do… if it takes you that long you should rethink how or what games you play

If people don’t like doing the same stuff over and over again then MMORPGS are just not the right genre for them, simple as that. I never said or implied that daily achievements take long to complete.

Let people toggle between the 2 systems. The people who choose the old one, won’t get the laurels and the people who stick to the new system will get them. That’s the best solution, imo.

I don’t know why people cry about dogding behind hard, the only limiting factor in this achievement is the endurance regeneration and even that can be manipulated.

Why would you do that? The only boss I would fight all the time with a ranged weapon is lupicus.
At every other boss you would waste so many ressources, your dogdebar would be at 100% for like 75% of the time, your second weaponslot would be unused, etc.

Isn’t the legendary itself a reward? Why would you even care about this badge you see for like 3 seconds each time you log in?
Of cause you should have it since you crafted a legendary but making a big deal out of it seems a bit pointless.

He clearly made a typo. What he meant is that the monthly req pvp of some sort. If I recall, it is WvW.

No he did not make a typo. He thinks/thought that daily PvP and monthly PvP will reward you with laurels. But that’s not true.

Everything but the Ranger is needed.

Even though I like the healing spring and traps because they can become pretty handy in some fights.

I’d say warrior, why?

- huge amounts of dogdes
- endure pain
- shield block, mace blocks (if you use it which I don’t)
- high hp pool
- access to aoe weakness

Arah is hardest expo out there, get yourself full exotic gear (not berserker), learn your class, learn the tactics and you may be able to complete it. Arah is easy as it is and another thousands of players agree with me, who thinks arah is really hard and it should be nerfed, legendaries are really not their thing

This guy is right when he says “NOT FUN”. I am pretty sure thats what ANet claimed they measured the game by. If that is true then you cant deny the Clock Tower has failed that. I dont care what the trolls say about how many times they completed it or how easy it is. Learn to play and shut up does not change the fact this is “NOT FUN”. I worked on this puzzle all day yesterday and I seen 1 person get to the top for every 15-20 people who quit out of frustration. Troll away elitists but what kills games is not listening to the majority of players not the elite minority. Making this doable and fun does not necessarly mean nerf it to death, it still has a long way to go before it loses any element of challenge (for most) All im saying is if this is supposed to be fun then you have failed………..and before I get the usual troll responses to this, I did complete it! Im just sticking up for the other 15-20 that didnt because they are just as important as me.

Even if you are not good at jumping puzzles you should at least be able to memorize all the jumps after ~15 runs.

Oh man I’m dying here right now. Pulling the “disabled players” card is so low. You don’t have to do the JP you can still continue to play the game without doing it.

Watching 2 balanced teambuilds fighting against each other was extremely exciting, imo. But I don’t see GW2 becoming important in the E-Sports scene. It is not polished enough and it is missing so many basic features, right now.

8v8 is NOT pvp; if you want zerg, there is wvwvw with his rules (you can be less but better equipped, you ownZ).
gw2 pvp is tournaments; 5v5, more “polished”, more “balanced”. give them a couple of weeks and i assume we can see a new big patch..i hope.

Wouldn’t it be smarter to turn 8vs8 into a DM mode, make a separate 5vs5 sPvP + the 5vs5 tPvP? I don’t want to solo queue tournaments right now because I don’t feel quite ready for it but right now it is the only way to get an more or less enjoyable experience out of the PvP.
