It wont have any synergy, Sceptar Just sucks lol, by the pure looks from the info on it this is going to be a 100% Burst Melee Ranged weapon set, So will come More in line with Shorter ranged weapons such as the dagger.
I know they will not have any sinergy, if for this reason that i want them to show me scepter warhorn

I use fgs when i run fresh air SF or SD for have more mobility.
Glyph for me is better (fire elemental) on DD and staff celestial builds
I can only hope for a stealth skill. If not dagger and focus offhand cant be replaced… In pvp at least.
I can only hope, for a pvp prospettive, that warhorn will give us stealth. If not, cant really think it will be a better choice than dagger or focus offhand.
I really hope scepter will have some rework but please dont make it a condi weapon.
Air 1 dont need a buff for me, because the fact it is already a good skill vs stealthed enemy thank by that it channeling stealthed enemy and with fire sigil can make u see where the enemy are. And, in a fresh air build, buff the air autoattack will make it op and brainless for me. Totally agree for a buff to the other autoattack. Water is close to fine, earth need a speed buff and fire need much work on.
Dragoon thoot for me is fine because is really strong for cleave downed enemies and u can noscope it on u for punish people who want to attack u. It promote smart e skilled gameplay. But yes maybe make it ground targetting can help a lot.
Phoenix, lighing strike and water trident are really good and dont need buff.
Devik dust can have his speed buffed.
Blinding flash can be aoe but it will require the CD incresed and im not sure it will be a good trade.
Rock barrier for me is fine, u can use it to stack burning on enemies.
Shatterstone need a totally rework, it really need to be replaced with something new and usefull. Maybe a knock back or a boon removal.
I really love scepter and always played it over dagger. But idk, i think until it relies on a single trait to be usefull, (and it is the only case in the whole game) daggar main hand will be always more efficent. So sad because i really love scepter more.
Well the condi damage on maurader or zerk isn’t 0 if they have some might stacked on. On my s/d muradeur ele i have seen a lot of 1.2k tick of burning on enemy. Dont remeber how much stack of burning they have on but i have always something like 12+ stack of might
And guys u really need to stop to think that this berserker amulet is the old berserker amulet. Muradeur is the old berserker amulet, and the way to go for who want to play the ele in a DPS spec. The damage of SF specced in fire air arcane is just superior at the old SF focus even without BttH. And specced in to air water arcan the damage is close to the same of before the patch… But really, the susistain is amazing.
Btw im feeling like now SD is just better than SF… And surely more fun.
Today i played all the evening scepter dagger (air water arcana) with marauder and really… Its really really good. I sloted mist form cleasing fire and lighing flash. The damage output its incredible, thank by evasive arcana streinght rune and battle sigil u can build up a lot of might and the susistain from EA and water’s trait is not that far from a celestial build. Shocking aura is a incredibile difensive trait, all the thieves that try to steal > backstab u get stunned. And u dont need to pop your stun breack thanks this. I dont know u guys but for me its like if scepter ele have got what it miss for a long time. Never enjoed the pvp of this game like in these 2 days.

I tried 2 variante of SF fresh air, both with muradeur amulet, air fire sigils and pack runes.
First One is similar at the old 66002 but with more vitality and more susistain.
In fire i run with burning precision, the boost of 10% damage and blind from burning
In air i run One with air, shocking aura and fresh air
In arcan i run renewing stamina final shielding and the One GM for the arcane.
Tried to burst the heavy target and u can 100>o it with in less of One secondo with Phoenix + linghint flash + arcane blast + air 2…. But u suffer a lot condi because u dont have any condi cleanse out of earth 4. But really, if u play well tour difensive skill and u land rigth your burst u dont have to care about it. And you can also perma blind your enemy
The secondo spec i tried its like the old 06044. Air water amd arcana. You have a great susistain, really great, and the damage is similar at the old SF build without bolt to the heart, but i was used to it because i always played with One with air instead.
I played a lot of tpvp and 1v1 yesterday and i felt both 2 great.
This evening i will try some df and sd variant.

The only things that need fixing are:
- Air 2 not being useless
- Air 3 gets a slightly wider cone so it hits a little bit further than melee range (and even then sometimes misses)
- Earth 5 gets faster projectile speed/larger cone so it doesn’t miss a strafing target that is 200 away.

Sigil of air is a must, the second can be fire, energy or battle. runes pack or traveler.
For the stats of armor, weapon and trinkets i’m all berserker but thats mean have 13k hp and 1800 armor, then u are so squiscy. Maybe take some piece of different stats for have 16k hp and 2k armor.
50% critical chance its good enought with this build because u will be in perma fury.
You cant stay in zerg and small fight scale are your way! This build is alla about dont be in the center of the fight and spike enemies from range

Well, staff Ele need some love, but for me water attunement its fine as it is, you can easily blast your water field switching in earth with evasive arcana or start in earth casting eruption and then swap to water. I dont see any problem with fire, water and earth skills, in my opinion the only change we need is in air attunement, something like make air2 nearly istant, because right by now u can only blind random skill
With s/d theif is all questione of timing. If you use fresh air, with scepter main hand, you can litteraly oneshot them with a Phoenix in the right time. I usually wait they do the first attack, most of the time sword2 + steal, then i pop arcane shield and i do phoenix + lighing flash + air spike… If phoenix get all crit, it’s about 90% of the thief hp. Use aoe in to shadow Refuge, like water 2 and 3, dragon tooth or off hand skills if you are on s/d. When they are stealthed spam your water autoattack for pop the signet and get some hp back. Most of the s/d thieves will go costantly in and out of range, then if you play fresh air it’s a good thing take the “One with air” trais for close the gap fast without let them time.
p.s.: in pvp there are a lot of 1v1 servers full of thieves, it’s a good thing spend some time there for practice if u have problem with them

if you want S/F do be on pair with thief and mesmer in turns of roamer
1st, you need to shave its damage
2nd, shave utility for boon removal.
OK remove some damage from dragon thoot and take my arcane blast. But give me some mobility OR a boon removal
Increse a little the cooldown of focus fire 4 and make it “burn” (=remove) some boom from who cross it
Make focus water 4 work like burning retreat leaving an ice field instead a fire field
Rework focus fire 5 for do something… Now its only a istant 300hp. “Burn” a boon every sec for each attacker could be too much strong?
Totaly rework water scepter 2… It is the most useless skill in game
Then decrase the duration on obsidian flesh to 3 or 2 second
Or at least increase the “One with air” trait duration so we can lose some damge from “bolt to the earth” to have more mobility
