Not massively. To 10s tops considering how flufy reapershroud is. If too op then same cd and remove imobilize and evade while doing it.
That would mean increasing the cooldown massively to like 20s at the very least.
Fun video but that combo does not bring anything good vs good players
DH need one defensive combo weapons cause 2 offensive does great dmg but also gives much opportunities to your enemies.
So true. I though so many times "if this were me on the other side with proper spec :p " hammer 2 could use an evade and remove 1 condi and hammer 5 cast while moving. This wpuld be very decent for a bit more sustain.

Im sorry Gaile but lack of comunication is big here. We as comunity will start tristing you when we get posts made by you like: ex: “hello comunity, wich main changes would u like in tje next patch., balance in wvw specs that r op , better rewards and points given etc”
Anet devs might listen, but they sure don’t communicate. And because they don’t communicate, the players don’t think that the devs listen.
We never get into a discussion with a back and forth with Anet devs. Do you ever see more than two red posts in a thread? Even the CDI discussion threads seemed to have minimal red posts.
Take the WvW overhaul. It was announced that there was going to be a WvW overhaul. Months go by and then we hear that the overhaul was scrapped because the project continued to get bigger and bigger.
Look at the scoring change history. We’ve had multiple threads, each many pages, where we’ve argued about 3-2-1, 2-1-1, 1-0-0 and 5-4-3 and it seems that all we hear from Anet is an announcement of “Next weeks match we will be changing the scoring format to x-x-x”. We don’t get a comment that says that the scoring was changed because player participation dropped after they switched. There’s nothing about the participation levels of the first, second or third place servers.
Multiple threads about server population, linking and glicko threads. Most of these threads get closed because they devolve into the dreaded “matchup thread” archive. We’ve had months of guesses what “activity level” meant. We knew that server populations and linkings were odd but there was only the final announcement by Anet that they changed how they calculated population levels. Then there’s all those posts where Anet decides to manually change a server’s glicko score. No explanations, just a statement.
Then there’s skill balance. Was ghost thief nerfed because Anet listened to WvW threads or was it nerfed after a PvE player posted a video soloing a raid? If ghost thief was nerfed because of WvW threads why did it take so long? Either way it’s like Anet doesn’t read WvW threads.
And how’s that discussion with Anet about lag going?
In WvW the Ghost Thieves aren’t gone – so do Devs listen, again, no, because I have been killed by a “Ghost Thief” since that ‘fix’.
Sorry but removing ghost thief isn’t a solution and the only thing it’s gonna do is get people mad and make them LEAVE.
Tbh if you die from a ghost thief you shouldn’t be in WVW running what you are running.
Getting rid of ghost thiefs was one of the best balance patches ever. Removed a Troll build tjat annoys more people than rewards.
Thank you for your really enlightening videos. I’m a huge fan of hammer “as a concept”, but never could really get my hand on it. Always found it a bit clunky. You opened new paths for thinking ; I’m therefore very grateful.

I just think that considering a wvw that has warriors thiefs chronos dhs druids each with builds that are op in someway for roaming. Necros r on pair with them right now and we still lose in sustain. That build u use and that i tried aswell is all good specially if u catch them off guard. But if ur seem from a distance its a diferent story

I was dueling warrior until 5pm in the morning, lost 25 win 10. Warrior freaking stab, health regen, dmg, stuns, ressistance uptime. I cant believe something broken like this still exist.
Yeah i had to go to sleep. Only dueled him once. Got him to5% then the stunlock skills got me. 15k damage in 2s

I think before they start nerfing our best roaming build.(unfortunatly its not power) they need to adress necros problems with sustain mobility and lf build.
Nice. Just dont ask for nerfs necros can at least roam in condi now on pair with other classes :p

Its ok video but they are all bads. With players who know their classes you dont have a chance.
Sometimes i watch videos of outnumbered fights and i think to myself" why didnt the 2 of them do this or that against him? " when im fighting alongside a friend or another capable player against one player no matter how good he is he will go down. My objective is to show diferent kinds of playstyle with other weapon sets that are not on meta. But i do agree that many of those were not above average

Wvw has gotten much more enjoyable with one less troll build.
One thing that makes me dpubt ir is lag is. Even if he s lagging with my teleport range1200 and 2 leaps of 600 he was still faster than me. If it were lag and he kept on running straigh forward he would never be faster than a dh. The times i did hit meant i was near him so the blink aftrwards would have to be much ahorter distance since in combat core necro does not have a reaper shroud2 to move faster.

Despite what it looked like on your screen the ring never trapped him because he wasn’t where he appeared to be. He was out of sinc after you punted him in downed state. It’s the same reason the ele couldn’t revive him when he was downed by the keep.
If you’ve played WvW for more than a week I’m sure you’ve run into similar situations where you couldn’t stomp or rez someone who was downed because they aren’t where they appeared to be. Or you might have encountered the ghost yak that you can’t hit with melee skills because they are actually nowhere near you.
I play wvw since launch. Amd for that reason this is a bit diferent from the lag i usually emcounter or even ghost yaks. Never for this long and never ignoring cc that hit him. Anyway. Was just asking but generally seems that u guys believe this is normal lag.

Looked to me like they werent exactly overlayed most of the time. If so, and from what it looked like to me (I’m new) he was launching them through the trap barrier, into the ward wall, then chasing them into a much smaller space where they had to eat the hammer attacks or cross the trap barrier again voluntarily. Sometimes after being pulled through it once already.
I was actually surprised at how well he did with that weapon set. I’d never have used that combo outside of open world PvE.

Quite often the enemys pop stability and ignore ring of warding. When they dont and get stuck with me i switch to mace 3 Wich after my initial burst knocks most people down or at least near death(first fight of video shows that against chrono

Balance in wvw and removal of troll builds.
Wich means remove part of what gw2 was designed for, and for some troll builds are builds that are very clever and players skilled.
For some cap a empty tower with 20+ is skillfull as well…
This is the kind of players Gw2 is for so expect more troll builds with next arc.
I wont say anything that makes my c9mment reported but if troll builds is something some gw2 players expect then i have a few names for those kind of people.

Same with classes that can rotate skills that allows them to heal evade stealth dodge block invul teleport etc. Some classes can be consistent in that. For now ghost thiefs and perma dodge thiefs are what i find more broken since there is litle counter for them. You need to spec specificaly for them and waste valuable utilitys traits just to TRY to survive them.
It looks like you player a Reaper. You know you have tools to prevent most of that regen, right? Looking at you poison, chill, and fear… (and dodge, when they’ve got resistance up).
Ima a 5 char player actually and having a warrior myself i still defend what i said. It needs if anything adrenal health nerfed or to scale with healling. What does not make sense in this game is such a huge amount of regen available without sacrificing dps gear or traits. Im sorry but this will never be right.

I agree with OP not only pve players but wvw like me i could not care less about scoring since this laughble system penalizes me for playing a class that cannot carry a team. So i just take the rewards and try to not care about the scoring too much.
Individual score and contribuiton on assisting kills or actually killing and decaping caping points etc should be the way to go. Not every class can carry and no one should be punished on account to having bad teamm8s.

While you’re right that a 1v2 with a ranged player who can put out damage can be an issue, I’d argue that such a situation is an issue for any reaper/necro build out there. Even tankier builds have issues with that.
For thieves, you might notice that my strategy isn’t to go at them head on, but rather I typically wait for their attacks and then land a swap combo on them right after one of their dodges. Otherwise, a well played thief with pulmonary impact really shouldn’t lose to any necro build.
Ghost thieves can be annoying, but honestly I just use the hard counter to them of holding down W and they can’t do anything about it.
You’re right with a lot of the points though, there are certain matchups that are much more difficult than you might expect. Usually the determining factor comes down to where the fight is (assuming the opponents have some skill). Playing this build, I’ve become a lot craftier in how I position and lure opponents to areas where I know it levels the playing field somewhat.
Yeah in those situations i stated its all about the other players knowing what to do and be good otherwise they will fail. With that build in the same situations i saw in your vids i got the same results. Downing 5players distracted in the midle of 10 before they down me. Lol
