I’m happy that our conditional removal got buffed! CoP and smite condition both got love they deserved. The fix to F2 makes it a better form of conditional removal too.

Guardians have always been viable. They just aren’t optimal.

That’s a terrible comparison. As long as you succeed in the “open heart surgery” and the person is fine after, it doesn’t matter if everything was optimal. What matters is succeeding

Guardian post & pre-patch is/was viable

I recommend you buy the parts and have a pc shop put it together for you

When pre-buying a pc for gw2 I recommend making sure the cpu is at least an i5, and the gpu is a 970 (or 390) or better

Please fix DH F2 and Smite Condition. Someone reported they’re both bugged

Even though I say this, there are things that need to be reworked. I’m just happy we didn’t see a lot of our new tools, traits, or skills greatly nerfed (like revenant for example). I see the positive in this balance patch for us… but maybe I’m wrong. We’ll see

We aren’t useless in PvE. A skilled guardian always shines. Otherwise, I don’t think my raid teams would keep inviting me :[]

If you haven’t been using ToF, JI, and CoP in PvP I recommend you do… It’s a blast

If someone is wanting to start raiding now, they shouldn’t be joining groups looking for people who are experienced with the raid. Simple as that. Don’t join lfg’s if you know you aren’t what the group is looking for.

As for other reasons you might not have a lot of insights, tough luck. Pug groups want to get the player that gives them the greatest chance at success, usually this means the player with the most experience, and that will mean the player with the greatest number of insights, and that is completely within their right. No one is obliged to take a pug they don’t want to take.

If they are willing to learn they should look for a group of experienced people… it’s a smart thing to do. They just need to watch youtube videos of the fights beforehand, and be open minded… Taken in plenty of first timers to a particular boss before, and succeeded

I put an r9 390 in the computer I made for my little brother this past Christmas.

His computer has an i3 4360 CPU, and an h97 Asus mobo. The monitor he uses is 1080p w a refresh rate of 60 hz. He can run the game at a stable 60 fps with everything maxed out (even super sample). I had to set his shadows to medium and character model limit to low. So you should be able to run the game maxed out too. Don’t get the 380.

S/n: I have a 980 ti and I set my character model limit to low as well. It ain’t worth the fps drop.

I believe in you ANet. I’m so happy cele is being removed. I can’t wait to play in the next meta. I strongly believe people are overreacting about possibly being insta-killed. Some players are just to used to certain amulets being their crutch. I welcome the new era of low defence, high offence.

Personally I was getting tired of people wearing celestial type amulets… Fighting should be worrying to stay alive because you know mistakes could be fatal if your opponent plays right

We also have to keep in mind what our changes really mean by comparing them to the changes the game itself is about to experience. Huge incoming changes…

Mesmer got alacrity halved but got some more aegis.

The aegis thing is actually a nerf since they swapped 1 second of aoe invulnerability with 3s of aegis and Mesmer doesn’t have any aegis traits to improve that

Id rather have to go through aegis than worry about them being invul…

My intent was poorly phrased. It is a nerf, but when aegis is what we have left as a semi-unique support contribution and they give more to mesmer I get a sour taste in my mouth.

I understand. We do have pretty good aegis application for ourselves right now, though… from virtues, dragonhunter, that one trap… Maybe they could give us a trait that gives us a power boost when we break an enemy’s application of aegis

I feel like necroes are getting the buffs they’re getting because they will be the ones to stop a possible overflow of bunkers… I feel like their changes were made purely for that reason. 15 second corrupt boon? Scepter boon corruption? We’ll see soon enough…

Smite Condition change makes me think they realize how much we need better condition removal.

He stated each profession has a lot more changing about them and that they are only covering a few points this episode.

However the presentation was awkward to view. Karl seems like a sweet dude, but maybe let someone with presentation skills present rather putting a designer out there who isn’t adept at having to do hour long presentation. I don;t think they communicated a lot of what they’ve been working on and just touched on things that are going to be key concepts.
