I was running might sigils and battle sigils for about a week and I can tell you it isn’t worth it

Does it not show the increase in critical chance it provides in the stat window?

I rock a 0/15/30/20/5 build. i only change it ever if i go to fractal lvl 30+ where i change it to a 0/10/30/20/10 or a 0/0/30/30/10 because i think the consecration abilitys are really nice at high fractals. otherwise the 0/15/30/20/5 build will be able to tank enough dmg in any dungon and the consecration trait isn’t as usefull.

the resets you get from minor trait II is actually pretty nice. and grants you some serious survive-ability because you grant everyone 3 stacks of might whenever you kill a foe basically. witch not only gives alot of dmg but also a lot of hp from AH.

as for the 2 trait set-ups you are choosing between. i’d say the 0/0/30/30/10 build is superior because it will grant your team alot of boons from the minor triat 1.

imo. go try the 0/15/30/20/5 build because i prefer the renewed justice over 2 handed mastery in 75% of the fights.

I am looking for input regarding these two trait setups: 0/10/30/30/0 & 0/0/30/30/10

With the first setup I have more critical chance and can skill for a lower cooldown on signets. The increase in critical chance will mean I have a better chance at activating critical related skills and my dps will be a little higher. I can also provide an aoe blind.

With the second setup I can provide boons from virtue activation and my virtues now have lower cooldowns. All my boons will last longer too. This means that important boons like stability will benefit my group more.

I have been rocking the second setup for quite a bit, and was thinking of going back to the first. The first setup can be kind of selfish because its focusing more on me doing damage and surviving rather than giving the group longer lasting boons, but does it really make a difference?

I would advise against buying an ascended ring with laurels. For five more laurels and 40 globs of ectoplasm you can get an accessory. Do 10 daily fotm for your ring

I’d say your critical chance is too high. I run with 29% critical chance without food or oils, and when I do it’s boosted to higher than 40%. It looks like you’re aiming to deal a good amount of damage while still having good survivability, which is just what I’m doing. There’s nothing wrong with sub 15k health pools, but your toughness is below 3,000. You’re taking between 3~6% more damage than I am at above 3,000. I know you said you still have a green ring, but most of my stats would still be higher than yours, even with an exotic ring.

I’m only suggesting this, but look into changing a couple pieces of your gear. Soldier’s gear provides a lot of what a guardian needs. Aim to survive, support, and pump good damage.

Your hp is a bit high for a guardian anyways. Roll with 15k hp. Replace soldiers with more knights. You keep the power and toughness but gain crit. You just have way too much soldier gear. Replace most of it with knights and you will like the results. Replacing all 6 gear pieces with knights nets you about 10% more crit and you lose only 2k hp.

Not to mention those divinity runes are meh at best.

Compare your divinity rune to an berzerker orb.

+5 power, +5 precision, +5 condition damage, +5 toughness, +5 vitality, +5 healing power, +2% critical damage

+20 power, +14 precision, +2% critical damage

You losing 5 toughness (which if you get more knights you will make up for)
Losing 5 condition damage (meh)
Losing 5 healing (very meh)
Lose 5 vitality (already discussed)
Gain 15 power
Gain 10 Precision

Multiply this by 6 for 6 slots.
You gain 90 power and 60 precision right there.

Thats like 3% more crit chance on just the gems.

The sword shouldn’t be looked at alone. It is meant to be used in combination with a focus, shield, or torch. The sword’s 1-3 skills are great.

It seems that people want the 1h sword to do damage like a greatsword. No! The 1h sword should be faster than a greatsword, but put out less damage.

Yes, Empowering Might will trigger Altruistic Healing.

It;‘s really nice, because you can stack precision which naturally gives you more damage because of the higher chance to crit, but it also means you’ll proc empowering might which gives everyone might (more damage), but also healing you per person that gets the might!

Sigils and traits don’t share cooldowns. Strength is on-crit, Battle is on-swap. No reason for them to share cooldowns.
