Oh wow this is funny. I played APB: Reloaded. The character customization is actually way more limited than it seems and dated if you ask me. It is superficial. Also it is blocked by a paywall: no thank you I do not want this in Guild Wars 2. Not to say that it is a bad one, far from that. But it is not the best and I think it’s unfair to compare it to Guild Wars 2, the two are way too different. One thing that should be noted is that the symbol creator of APB:R is amazing and absolutely unique but hard to master, props.

A better example (only in terms of complexity which is what you are bringing up in the first place) would have been EVE online’s character creator, now that is some beast but it has it’s weakness too: you cannot see your character ingame (I think there is the exception of on a certain ship station, I do not know exactly) and you cannot see other’s characters either because EVE online is about other things yes but also because of performance limitations.

I do think that we should have had a bit more sliders to tweak more precisely some aspects of the faces and more option choices in hair/faces/tattoos/hears/etc. But also it is not problematic. Let’s talk about it in 3+ years.

as I said this is not a game to compare with another but suggest greater versatility in customizing. And in this video are aspects that could be included.

The sliders for body, hair and the freedom to put a tattoo or scar on a particular site would be the key to the character customization that much better.

The key to making darker nights is to do so in a way that is enhanced by the design of the game itself. That’s why personally I like the idea of adding lunar phases and adjusting the darkness of the night based on the phase of the moon that night. Then on the darkest nights (which wouldn’t be crippling dark, just noticeably darker) you could have special mobs that spawn, special loot that drops from those mobs, unique events that trigger in the dark (the Risen are emboldened and move out, attacking outposts and towns, champions spawn in the dark and go on a rampage, etc.)… you could even have certain types of resources become available in the night for new crafting recipes. An enhanced day/night cycle, coupled with lunar phasing to give periods of “darker” nights compared to a full moon for example, could really open the world up to a whole new layer of content added right on the existing maps.

One of the issues with trying to do DEs alone (or in some cases with small groups) is that NPCs there assisting die way too quickly. It’s not just a game-play annoyance, it’s also just kind of silly and immersion breaking. In general, NPCs (especially wandering ones) stay dead more often than they are alive simply because they die in a few seconds when engaging even a single mob, which is really just kind of goofy.

Note that I am not necessarily arguing that they should be able to win DEs by themselves, nor do I think they even need to provide more than marginal offensive support. They just need to not die so easily that DEs are often lost as soon as they start and so (especially solo) players aren’t completely wasting their time reviving them while losing the DE because they lack any support. Having NPCs be more survivable and pitching into the fight also just makes battles feel more epic and therefore more fun, especially for solo players.

IMO, it would really just make for a better gaming experience across the board.

To be honest, guild wars 2 has disappointed me in this regard pretty, there is very little realism about it, there is not even sunrise or sunset, the weather is standard and at night there is so much light that seems to almost daylight.

I suggest this change and incorporate these aspects to the game as they would enjoy it much more because it gives much more realism.

I leave you with an example a video game black desert, although it is a bit extreme in darkness but is quite realistic and it would be great to have something like in guild wars.

I would like to see some consequences of our personal story choices. Everything always ties up neatly with a beautiful red bow, and I find that boring. Every quest ultimately leads to the same conclusion, thus making choices meaningless. And while there are a few choices that lead the player to do different quests, the player’s character remains the same, unchanged by any of the events. Various roleplaying systems have already improved on this concept, by allowing the player’s character to suffer severe injuries, like losing an eye, or brain injuries. Now of course it would require far too many assets to allow for such visual diversity, but the game could try and explore none-visual consequences: A character could be partially corrupted by one of the Dragons, due to certain story choices, or have developed a phobia due to some of the traumatic events in the story. In a good story, the player’s character does not survive all the events unscathed.

And I definitely want to see charm, dignity and ferocity play a bigger part.

Guild Wars 2 , in my view , has to improve quite the personal story system :

1. There should be more freedom when deciding your way into the story and not in the middle of the plot is exactly the same for everyone. Could have an ending like in a sense, but with different shades of course , I mean, if the end is to kill Zhaitan could have simultaneously more focused plot to another thing as a confrontation between two enemies in which tension increases or a love affair , but this are only examples . One factor that generate attraction to personal history would be able to interact with other players in it even able to take a relationship within the frame , either friendship or romance enmity considering sexual freedom , which does not mean to leave nothing explicit or offensive for minors as it could be Dragon Age . But this game is a good benchmark for what I have expressed.

2 . The significance of the decisions . When a player is developing personal history gives the feeling that the same for everyone and is very dull and boring . The problem is that the decisions only change the way of reaching a plot point that will be the same. That point should be different, you notice the weight of your decision and above who have more time in which to decide . Example . A bandit offers help to solve a case and you can choose if you want my help (in which case there could be a positive frame mini with this character ) or reject and they are angry and have to liquidate .

3 . Characters allies in the personal history . 4 . Character. Charm, dignity and ferocity. These parameters should be used in the plot to have more or less power over someone who has a certain character and you have to persuade. In my opinion EVE Online has currently the best character creator. And ironically, once you create your character you enter the spaceship and spend there 99% of the game, almost never seeing your pilot again.

I also quite like this system of creation, is the norm in games of this generation, so guild wars 2 falls well behind.

Hello I will outline below some of the suggestions for the game I have in mind for some time:

1) New attributes.

I think we should extend the current attributes by adding two more, one of them would improve the rate of activation of the skills, the other would improve walking speed and recharge of the 3 support skills. It is clear that this should not be abusive I mean that you can not reach 50% but I think that for example 20% or 30% would be nice and balanced.
 
The problem of this would be on the one hand the skills that already exist as “speed”, all you have to do is instead of applying a percentage increase to be a numeric value based on the attribute that improves speed of movement in question .

Another problem would be how to increase its value, the fact that he said they were two attributes is so that you can create a line of traits that can be inclusive so that would be totally similar to current features five lines there.

The elementalist would remain lame … lines to have their features like their attunements. Could be solved by placing a new function would be in attunement ground which is independent and would have abilities to weapon dependent field. For example, being in a winter field would have skills as a blizzard, snow storm, snowball … being in a jungle, tornado leaves, muddy terrain, poisonous stone … well with the land that is deemed appropriate. 2) Suggested new class

I guess in the upcoming campaign will add new classes and I think this might be a good addition to what is said in paragraph one. The Chronomancer.

This would create an alternate present course affecting Orr and other locations. Therefore Orr had three maps: the past and the two parallel realities.

Similarly one could travel to the future but would be simpler.

4) More architecture.

Personally I would have liked to meet in the game with more awesome places for perhaps 70% or more of the game is ruined. So Jenna throne is invaded by nature.

I’m talking about comparisons with games like lineage II cemetery where 20 graves were crappy as the ones in the city of humans, if not that then the cemetery is a large area with sculptures, walls, pillars in abundance, variety and some of sizes that impress.

Another example alluding to this same game are cities like Aden, Heine, Ivory Tower … If you search the internet you will see that most impressive things.

Just honestly expected more of that in this game, however say that I value having intrinsic art.

5) More variety in medium armor.

Say first that I’ve played and seen one by one in the closet of all armor pvp game.

Regarding the light armor and have seen great varieties weights between them, plugged some more than others, some more appealing than others, variety for everyone, but in the case of medium armor I found that they all have in the chest covering a piece that is long, going below the waist, almost all if not all coats like 3/4 or long coats. What about armor similar to the murderers of Guild Wars 1? There will be people who do not like like me … Long armor as a profession is that of a thief. I sincerely believe that they should have more variety.

Well I agree with the current system as a team to get acceptable apparatus face a range of levels is very easy and / or cheap and fast reaches the maximum level which is where teams are expensive.

Hello, wrote to comment that after testing customization of music in the game I’ve noticed a few things from my point of view could be improved.

1. When entering combat music activates abruptly, I think a slight increase would help stay not so bad music change.

2. Not always enters combat that activates the music, it seems that only when there are many enemies or when your health drops to a limit does. I think it should always be possible to trigger because it is much more emocinante power struggle with stimulating music and not the music that has on environment to enjoy the scenery.

3. In the case of music city, I might be wrong customization. Is not “City” the name of the playlist you have to put in the folder guild wars 2 music like the rest? Well I have the same problem with “Crafting” in both cases only played ambient music.

4. In playlists I realized that the song is the first in the source folder plays much more often than others, and 50% of the time and that 50% of the time the rest.
That is very repetitive no way to fix it?
