If you’re a zerger – don’t kitten when you can’t get back to the fight because you’re getting your kitten handed to you everytime you try to get there. because those players in between your camp and that battle are pretty battle hardened and a lot of times know more about YOUR class than YOU do, even if they are playing a different class.

I’d like to comment on this part of your quote since I feel like you bring up some interesting points. Just about every comment made towards PAXA has the same ring to it. We gank solo players and run from even fights. Some of the past comments, like this one, I believe may have stemmed from my recent posts (I may be wrong). We have never run from an even fight. People like Iamalog and Vistal claim that we do, but need to go back to grade school to learn how to count. We run from numbers that double ours or more when we lose the advantage (6 enemies rallying off a stupid NPC kill. Dumb). So when the haters come to the forums and make ridiculous statements, I insult their skilless zerg. And by skilless zerg I mean the fact that they think they’re cool for us turning tail and running from a 30 man group then proceed with insulting us on the forums for running in a fight we have no tactical advantage.

Please someone point out to me where a PAXA member has gloated about us 5v1ing a solo roamer. I’d love to see that because none of us think that takes skill – the same amount of skill it takes for a zerg to mop the floor with a 5 man when there’s no tactical advantage for that 5 man. We respect and credit those who call us out and back it up. Some people think we will never 1v1 and run from those opportunities. jkctmc (while I still think some of his posts were full of crap ) has more respect from our guild for backing up his trash talk. And I’m sure the feeling is mutual for him as well.

All this trash talk coming mostly from ALS (I don’t know what guild or server Vistal is from, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was ALS though) is funny considering yesterday we actually did have a fight 6v5 (Yes, we had 6. ZOMG NOT FAIR FIGHT!) with their guild and destroyed them. The only person from that guild that has earned any sort of respect is dabomb, who used to trash talk PAXA and now thinks differently of us. The rest of the guild thus far is comfortable hiding behind their zerg and spewing trash on the forums that we run from fair fights.

We try to promote small man running, and to some extent it has been working. We see some smaller groups hunting us like BL for example. That’s great! We want more!

If you’re going to call us out for running from fair fights, run with a 5 man and fight us. We don’t have the numbers to field a 30v30 fight and never will, sorry. Until then, we will keep calling you a skilless zerg.

I’ve been playing a hammer warrior for a couple of weeks now and have noticed some annoying mechanics. It mostly has to do with terrain. I’ve noticed that hammer 3 and 4 will miss if a player is above or below you on a hill. The f1 burst will also miss if you try to use the skill from a higher altitude than an opponent (similar to sword 2). It seems the attacks just take a straight path from your character’s position instead of following the terrain. Is this intended or something that will be fixed?
One other question that I have is about the shield 5 ability. The description says that it blocks all attacks for 3 seconds, yet pulls such as a thief scorpion wire will end the ability and pull you towards the thief. Are pulls such as scorpion wire not considered an attack?

I know you’ll never admit when you’re wrong. It’ll damage your pride too much, even on the forums that have nothing to do with life. As for vent info, I’m not going to give that to people as some guildies might not appreciate it. We can however as others suggested PM in game, which will work just as well if you don’t want to mention a time and place on the forums.

The only issue I have with PAXA is their constant rudeness, and how they refuse to mention loses, case in point. I seriously doubt there will be any recognition about these fights, yet they’ll constantly tell us how bad AR, and BP players are.

You know I run around a lot solo when ironing out builds, especially on my Ranger, so my irritation with that guild has nothing to do with them beating me. <grins>

Oh, you’re the guy that complains about getting rolled over by 5 of us and when we offer you a 1v1 you are too cowardly to even respond. Right. You sure do like to drive that complain train against PAXA. We give credit when credit is due. Just as we don’t expect props when we roll over someone 5v1, we’re not going to give credit to zergs that kill us. For example:
3v3 with VS and they run away until ALS zerg comes. We’ll give props when either of them decide to finish out the fair fight, win or lose if it’s a good fight.

I get on here and complain because NONE of the 40 people in the zerg are willing to test their skill, or their guilds skill against us. So they LAZILY run with the other 39 people from 15 different guilds, and roam the BL. That takes no skill, no coordination, and isn’t challenging. As for the 4 v 5, I couldn’t tell you man. I also havent heard about it in vent but like Osif said, we lose fights too, just not too often. Cheers.

You don’t get 5v5s in sPvP. Dumb PUG teams might do that, but they lose in a minute. tPvP teams will never ever do that. Besides, sPvP capture point is super boring and it’s all the same. I’m sure they’ll be fixing that soon.

I wasn’t really bragging about it, truth be told we caught PAXA completely off guard and with their pants down, and it probably wouldn’t go the same way again. I don’t have a group unfortunately, I just happened to get into a group with 3 very good players that night and had alot of fun, like the old gaming days. Being a group of 3 Ele’s and a Guardian helped alot I’m sure.

Like I said I’m not here to belittle, or call your guild bad, or whatever. The constant numbers QQ was more my point. We both know your not going to avoid numbers all the time and we also both know that 5 mans are not the popular thing currently, if Jscull spent the amount of time complaining about those numbers, working on ways to kill them, well you know where I’m going with this.

Honestly, we don’t have much problems hitting zergs. We pick and pop the rear end and then bail before the zerg turns. Extend the chasers and then turn on them. Rinse and repeat. There’s nothing really special about it. Sometimes we get overzealous and die, but that’s just the game. All the people saying that we run from them, like Mr. ALS Norn cultural helm friend somewhere in these forums, don’t realize what we are doing to their zerg, which I find rather funny. If NSP had a larger population, it would do a whole lot for them as we take up the enemy zerg’s time and population trying to hunt us down and reducing their ranks. For us though, fighting zergs gets tiresome and rather dull. The smaller man fights that we have are much more fun, and I think the majority of PAXA agrees with that. That’s all Dylic is saying is that he’d like to have more of those rather than messing with zergs.

Although I respect PAXA’s playstyle, why do you feel the need to come here and spew crap like this ? The other guys in your guild seem to be decent folks, let me throw this out for you. Saturday … 4 man group wipes 5 PAXA and to be honest, we were all like WTF … that was it ? No there was no SS taken and no I was not frapsing, even if I was I wouldn’t feel the need to belittle your guild first chance I got. So deny it if you will I really don’t care.

Complaining constantly about numbers makes you look very nubish to the small man game. Its all about fighting larger numbers and finding ways to kill them, sure an even fight is nice as well, but they will be few and far between. Don’t make the rest of your guild look bad, suck it up and learn to combat zergs, if its to big, retreat and kill overextenders while doing it.

I realise your probably frustrated because its zerg after zerg after zerg, but your not doing your guild any favors with the constant QQ’s about numbers.

I’m not going to call you a liar as I was not there if your 4 man team killed a PAXA 5 man, but I would think I would have heard about it like when AD killed a 5 man of ours, some people in PAXA wouldn’t shut up about it for a while. I haven’t heard anything about a 4 man killing any 5 man PAXA group, but if you did, congrats! That’s quite an achievement, and I hope that I run into your group sometime.

Dovgan, I actually gave credit to your ranger the other night in vent. Said you last longer than most, even solo. But we are here to kill. PAXA is driven by # of kills /night, that’s the only thing that matters to us. If you are red and in our visual, you are #10,634 for me, even up to 12,001 for two of our guys.

The only player, Hammerhorn, that has been relatively impressive from VS has been the black robed mesmer. The verdict isn’t out for the rest of the guild, simply just a mob of mindless zergers (aka burger-eaters).

Culling and downed state need to be wokred on asap.. We had 25+ downed and one us died and poof everyone was back alive.

Otherwise fun first night on our new server. looking forward to more 5-10man stuff.

Yes for sure they need to fix Culling and downed wouldnt say take downed out yet does needs to have a hard look at.

Actually, tournament play usually doesn’t see many 5v5s either as objectives are capture point based and rarely have a whole 5 man team rolling together. Those teams that zerg tend to lose.

That was our event, but PAXA isn’t good enough to fight a head on 1v1 2v2 so they have to try and portal bomb afk people at the servers “fight club” It’s even funnier because they could have participated, but instead decided to try and “troll” everyone including AR. They got farmed for badges, turned to the forums for keyboard warrior duty and now are trying to troll here.

Not much else happened.

Someone’s a wee bit angry. And stop saying portal bomb, you’re hurting my feelings saying that our mesmers run with portals! I doubt you’re trying to make me sad, I know deep down you just want me to be happy.

The problem with that picture you posted npac is that that was after we chased you from the middle of the bottom of the map back to your borderlands cause you ran and/or were dead and respawned to come back out and fight more.

It’s not really a problem for us to turn and wipe you. Half the people that initially wiped you turned around and went back to dueling cause you ran. If you’re going to complain about numbers being too high maybe you shouldn’t jump into 30 people and complain about it.

He’s simply speaking the truth and debunking your false theory that we had numbers on you guys. I don’t see any complaints. We knew what we were getting into and got what we wanted.

No idea. Transfer server of the month? Probably something like “I want to work my way up from the bottom!” type of thing when in reality they won’t play much of a role. They’re just trailing along guilds like WM and will feel good about themselves when they think they helped the Kaineng server get to higher tiers.
