Well we were trying a breakout event on SoR BL (I think it was SoR BL) but it was during an absolute dead zone when BG had less then 150 PP. We didn’t have many players. It failed over and over. As soon as the commander got there we had SoR inside the tower attacking it with their huge zerg and TC outside with their huge zerg attacking it. After attemping it 4-5 times in a row we gave up, laughing at how the breakout event was just a farm fest for the 2 30 man zergs roaming near our spawn.

Not sure what the point of breakout events are as in my experience they only tend to succeed when you are fighting minimal (10 or less) defenders.

So you easily wiped the breakout event, defeating the purpose of said event. I don’t see the problem for you?

In my experience breakout events only succeed when its PvDoor or there is 10 defenders or less in the tower. If the zerg wants to stop a breakout event they will, even with protective bubbles etc. I saw a breakout event fail 5 times in a row because the 60 person zerg just farmed us when we got there. It is supposed to help you break out of a spawn when there is a huge zerg in the zone except break out events only succeed when you are fighting minimal defenders.

Is eggnog any good? Never had it and it kinda sounds disgusting

How about a real scoring system that rewards winners and doesn’t reward losers like the current system?

All siege disappeared in SoR garrison because it was superior. SoR had no resistance taking back their garrison. So sick of these resets.

Not only did I die, but my client crashed, GW2 uninstalled, and my computer shutdown and refused load Windows again until I verified in the BIOS that I had a zerg of 100 ready to take down the Moa when I logged back in.

We were in t1 for three weeks, not two so at least get the basic facts right before you continue to point out that BG has actually made it to t1, unlike sor. We came in 2nd the first week and third the last 2 weeks in tier 1 before SoS had enough points to move up. How well did your server do in T1?

Huh? We are working on moving our way up, we gained about 30 rating this week. You do realize how the glicko rating system works correct?

You should know BG doesn’t quit considering we’ve made comebacks while being down 20k+ against you twice now. If we gave up, you would have won those weeks. Anyone who knows how the glicko works, there is no way for us to gain more then 30ish glicko rating this week based on the time left so it doesn’t effect us moving up to tier 1. What happens in tier 1 determines if BG moves up, one of those servers has to be beaten at least two weeks in a row by a sizable amount.

We haven’t given up 20-30k points either, not even sure where that number came from. Also we’ve seen SoR quit a few times in the past 5 weeks, especially in those weeks where you had the lead and lost it and we utterly demoralized you. It was how IoJ came in 2nd one of those weeks, you guys were “resting”.

BG has secured the win with a 40k lead. There is no way SoR can win so most ppl are resting for tomorrow. Theres also an alliance meeting going on so many of the commanders are involved with that at this moment.

This. I really, really respect the core players left on IoJ. If I recall T2 for a good while was the stomping ground of whoever out of SBI/JQ/ET that fell to T2 that week. After ET imploded it became SoS playground, and now Blackgate. Takes character to keep on fighting in a competitive tier you know you almost can’t win.

If anything they are scraping by because they can hold the maps for a couple hours each day while we all sleep. Once we get a night crew we can take anybody on. Don’t think so lightly of SoR, we are T1 material.

If SoR was t1 material, they’d be able to win T2 right? And stop over inflating BGs coverage.

I agree… If you can’t win T2, you can’t be at T1. And if SoR ever go to T1 as the way it is, they would most likely get stomped as Blackgate was while we had only JQ and SBI in there (I pretty much fear SoS more than those).

If they think BG has solid 24/7 coverage, I’m not sure how they could ever handle T1. Also I am sick of SoR players claiming BG “barely” holds onto a lead when it is a blatant lie with zero facts to back it up.

Always funny to see guilds talking about other guilds leaving the map after they get wiped when they are the ones that actually do that. We lost count at how many times a certain guild left every map last week after wiping them over and over. They turn tail and run if there is even 5 defenders a tower. The only time I’ve ever seen them wipe anyone is pugs. This is what this guild does, they run from a fight, wait till 10 pugs chase them then turn around and portal bomb the 10 pugs, then they high five each other as if they did something great. LOL

Massive AOE 3 second stun every 8 seconds? Yes, please.

Stop spreading lies, its a 2s stun if you have full adrenaline and the AOE isn’t any more “massive” then other ground targeted AoEs.

Warriors do have weak condition removal, the devs even confirm it in the patch notes posted yesterday. That is a fact. We are supposed to be babysat by team mates.

Auto shake it off is terrible, it removes 1 condition every 30seconds, just absolutely horrible in game where some classes can easily stack 5 conditions on you instantly. And why would you take that trait over something else that is way more beneficial? Signet of Stamina has a pretty damn long cooldown.

Even the lead pvp developer has confirmed warriors have a problem in this department in the State of the Game video.

What Warriors? 100Blade warriors? Yeah, sorry. But, that kitten deserves to get CC locked. My cond damage and cond removal warrior has no problems with conditions…at all. If you don’t build for removal why the kitten should you deserve to have it?

LoL you play a “condition” warrior? That says all I need to know bro. I don’t use 100b. I am hammer/mace+shield shout build. You must play in hotjoins where most ppl are glass cannons and not condition specs.

Who would trait for a warhorn in spvp? only bad warriors. The rest of your post confirms to even have a chance against condition builds warriors must spec into a cookie cutter 3shouts/soldier runes build.

BG likes to slack every other week which is why we win by 65k one week then 20k the next week.

Warrior is so not the weakest profession in SPvP.

Warriors have a ton of different playstyles that they can use in SPvP. You can got 100B Glass Cannon, Hammer, Duel Axe, Rifle, Sword Sword condi and you can also go support (that is the weakest of all the builds.).

I think that the support role for warrior needs a buff, nothing else though.

The OP mentioned the top end, meaning tournies and such. I would laugh especially hard if I saw a rifle warrior or a sword/sword in tpvp. Warriors do not have viable condition builds so the fact that you would even mention makes me question your whole post. In my experience, it’s pretty much either glass cannon or a CC shout heal build if you are lucky enough to get a spot over another better class in a organized tourney team.

It was a T2 match two months ago and both IoJ and BG lost to SBI in that match. IoJ was first place loser by 10k.

I rather BG than SoS personally. I really feel like killing them and competing against them. Not saying that IoJ is not competitive, far from it. It just feels like IoJ is that dagger in my side that I cant remove. No doubt the other servers feel the same way.

Personally, I’ve really enjoyed fighting IoJ the last 2 weeks. [ND] and [HIRE] show up every day even when IoJ is being trashed. I tip my hat to them.

Week 4 or not, we are fortunate to have an actually competitive matchup where players still show up every day. Many other servers can’t say that.

The majority of SoR are good people.

Won the first week by 55k, the 2nd week by 20k (BG was down by 25k made epic comeback victory and won by 20k, SoR came in THIRD that week) and last week we won by 60k. I guess you could call those “close matches”.

As a dedicated WvW player you should know that both IoJ and BG lack in NA coverage so yes they are outnumbered. That is what being outcovered means.

We saw what happens when BG comes out in full force, you lose by 60,000 points.

Wow, people still complain about “nightcapping”? And in tier 2 for that matter?
Lets hope you never reach tier 1 where they have round the clock coverage.
