Are you guys using custom shortcuts to launch the game? I noticed I am not able to sell anything if I launch the game using my custom shortcut for the Mumble overlay. But if I use the default shortcut I am able to sell on the trading post. My custom shortcut uses the -email -password -nopatchui commands.

LOL What? Warriors got 10% increase to damage on their bow auto attack which is still super weak.

I wouldn’t get too ahead of yourselves though, SBI can easily reduce 30k leads in a day and has done it 3 weeks in a row.

Some people on BG do not like IoJ because of an intense forum propaganda campaign against BG that was led by a couple IoJ posters for 4 weeks straight. That is the only reason I can think of.

You caught me. I don’t follow WvW. I don’t know that BG had a very close match with DB and FA in T3 at the end of September. Started getting transfers, got annihilated in T2, dropped to T3. IoJ, the T2 server, did not drop to T3. Back on track, BG got more transfers and mowed through T3.

As I said, T3 with a tiny potential for T2. IoJ was/is T2.

And now we are T2 with a potential for T1 (and stayed there for 3 weeks). Where is your server at?

Kita you’re either delusional or have no idea what’s going on with your server because Blackgate was middle of the pack until a bunch of guilds jumped from their previous servers to yours.

Did you even look at Kita’s signature? He plays on Darkhaven. This rant and his mention of Blackgate was probably prompted by a WvW guild that transferred from DH to BG this week.

Also, for the record, BG had climbed to the #6 spot in the rankings, and played in a T2 match with SBI and IoJ the week starting on 10/12, which was BEFORE any of the transfers in from HoD and ET.

They were 10k behind 2nd place in that matchup. And of course SBI beat IOJ and BG by that much, that happened everytime a server dropped from T1 down to T2 in those days. Do you even follow WvW?

As the title states, if I hit play on the launcher while Mumble is open I get a crash. It happens every single time. Not sure which is the cause of it (Mumble, GW2 or a memory issue) or if anyone else has this issue. I am using the latest Mumble beta build (it seems to update every day or two). I will also report this issue to the Mumble dev team. Thanks!

Proof of what? I see a screenshot of a guy inside a keep that has had its inner and outter gates breached many times since reset. I see nothing in the screenshot that shows he got in there through hacks.

Everyone should just chill out. There is a 1,500 point difference between FIRST and third place which means this is a balanced fight so far. This is anyones game.

The inner walls were never breached and we held shad for at least 6 hours.

GG SBi, very good server. As for JQ, they were a non factor for the last 5 days of the matchup. It was mostly SBi and BG fighting each other. I rarely ever saw JQ on any maps and when we did it was 5 BG pushing back 20 JQ.

BG had an orb hacked out of AB this weekend. That is all the info you need since that is all the info provided about supposed BG hacks.

Orb hacking has been going for months now. They need to deal with this crap.

No one has seen this person before yesterday and they were calling out well known guilds on the server for hours in BG BL yesterday trolling. I blocked them so that is how I know that person uses the white tiger account. It isn’t a surprise that this same person hacked an orb.

White Tiger account is the same one that was trolling in BG BL yesterday. I have no doubt that it is a saboteur.

You realize commander status has nothing to do with pvp right? It’s about who has 100g to spend and who doesn’t. So your argument is flawed from the beginning.

This is a screenshot taken from HoD or ET because they have zero points at the top center. This guy isn’t from BG.

Also bugged on BG. Another buggy event, jeez. You’d think they’d get better at this stuff as time goes on.

Warriors went many patches without a single update and we finally got some in this patch.

Oh yeah I remember this guy (the OP). He transferred from my server (BG) to DB mid match then claimed he was going to kick BG off all maps and dominate us. He spoke too soon as we beat DB. Now he has moved to Kaineng? This guy is the ultimate server hopper and will hop from kaineng pretty soon.

Congrats Kaineng, just makes me sick to this flip flopper trying to act like he was a part of Kaineng from the beginning. He just got there.

If we are the next FoTM oh well, nothing we can do about it! The people who have been on BG since launch like myself and the other guilds who stuck it out on BG will still be here when the bandwagoners leave.

I wasn’t meaning to imply that you were ‘having’ them move to your server by any effort on your part. You got back up to T2 with your off-hour coverage against servers that had little to none, and then you had an alliance move from Dragonbrand, the second largest NA TA guild, and the largest NA AA guild. So it’s going to become another bandwagon server.

I’m not trying to bash BG by any means, simply saying that your climb back up was part your effort, and part the numbers and coverage provided by the en masse transfers that BG has singularly benefited from more than any other server.

We saw our weakness and worked to fix it by recruiting ppl to our server. If you want to be competitive in wvw at the top tiers you have to have coverage during as many hours as possible. The only way to do that within the current system is to recruit people to your server to fix coverage problems. We had no off hour coverage a month ago, we fixed that problem.

I would hope you aren’t bashing us, we just want to be competitive in the top tiers. And we’ve slowly making that goal come to fruition. We’ve been stomped in our matchups before (we just got stomped by SBI last week who beat BG and IOJ by like 150k points or something), we know how it feels. We took each loss and tried to correct the mistakes we made. I feel like that we’ve done that pretty well so far.

Hopefully BG moves into t2 and stays there so you won’t have to fight us again.

edit: Not really familiar with what TA or AA guilds moved here since it just happened a couple days ago but who are 2nd largest and largest guilds?

And to be honest, most of the old timers on BG like both FA and TC. They remind us of ourselves in many ways. BG doesn’t give up and have a good attitude, much like FA and TC.

Alot of people left and BG got bumped down to something like 5th tier. We worked our way back up and tried our best to recruit more guilds to our server. We never gave up and alot of guilds came here for that very reason. BG is also one of the first servers to do heavy recruitment threads on other forums to get more guilds over. If our hard work paid off, good for us. You can do the exact same thing. BG went from the top to the bottom and is now working our way up again.

To a degree you’re right, however one of the issues is that BG is getting transfers en masse from servers it’s been pitted against. So on one hand the resident guilds did their part putting in work, but on the other hand the NA transfers have both depleted some of your former competition and centralized it to a single server. On one angle you’ve been working your way back up, but on another you’re also gobbling your way back up by eating up your competition by having it move to your server.

We worked our way back up to t2 before any “en masse” transfers. I can think of at least 3 servers that got a bunch of HoD guilds so quite a few servers have gotten new transfers in. Also I’m not sure what you mean by eating up our competition by “having” it move to our server. We can’t force anyone to move here. Also I’m not sure which servers you are referring to in that statement. As for the few Oceanic guilds from HoD who moved here, that was their own decision. Alot of HOD fought us back in the early days of the game and gave us props for our never give up attitude. Maybe that was a factor in their decision.

We just got some new transfers in before the start of this matchup to help us be more competitive in t2. Because of the way things work since we came in third in t2 last week (it was our first week matchup in t2 so was a learning experience for us, SBI stomped both the 2nd and third server) we got bumped down to t3 for this matchup. LOL BG has been full most of the time since launch and anyone who actually knows BG knows that. We had guilds trying to transfer over 2 weeks ago but couldn’t because it was full.

Also your picture has no context so it means absolutely nothing.

So basically, pointing out that we will lose if we move up a tier means nothing, we’ve lost before in higher tiers. All but the most dominant servers will experience this at some point or another. Many servers move up into the next tier and get dominated, then get bumped down and dominate the lower tier. The 24h matchups were fun in some respects, we also learned alot about our weaknesses and have been trying to rectify them since.

It was a tough time for us after fighting HOD for 3-4 days in a row, most ppl were demoralized, a big guild left the server etc etc. The people who stuck it out here on BG know whats it like to lose and have to essentially rebuild.

YOU are so naive it’s not even funny. BG was already in Tier1 launch week, we’ve fought those teams and lost. But we got props for not giving up. And when we got bumped down tiers we fought our way back up. We’ve been in T1 before, has DB? I think we know a little bit more about the higher tiers then you do.

You let a who was in server in third place, move into 2nd early Monday morning days then move into first after another 2-3 days. Maybe your server shouldn’t think matches are 4-5 days instead of 7? We moved into 2nd before any ppl transferred over and were already on the way to slowly whittling down your lead. If you played smart we would have never even gotten 2nd place. And we whittled down your lead slowly but surely. Where was the resistance? You rested on your laurels and let the match fall through your hands.

Remember, DBs lead was only down to 7k after we overtook 2nd place and flucuated between 10k and 20k. As soon as BG was ahead by 1k freaking points the DB people just gave up.
