Let’s be honest here, doesn’t matter who from T2 moves up. No server in T2 even has EU or Oceanic coverage to compete. They are all NA prime servers and you cannot win t1 with just NA prime. SoS is the dominant server and will continue to be for the forseeable future until they get bored.

Recruitment is lackluster in this game now. Guilds either like where they are at, want to bandwagon to the number 1 server (SoS is still receiving guilds, they just got PTX last week) or who want to go to Kaineng and stomp super casuals.

Just saw a guy from Work on BG server lawl.

Fought a D/D ele from JQ (think the guild was CoF) for like 10min straight in SoR BL earlier. I was the hammer warrior in TA amor. You out there? Was kinda dissapointed you didn’t bow back after our duel, it was a show of respect for the fun fight! But one of your guildies came along so I had to book it out of there.

So what are the scores like during Oceanic times?

Shout warrior builds are nowhere near even close to the effectiveness of ele/guardian boons. They shouldn’t even be compared against those two. Ele and guardian are way stronger.

Slightly is an understatement when it comes to buffing Rangers in my humble opinion; try complete overhaul (starting with pet AI and obstructed arrows).

Yeah I only mention slight because mesmers got buffed 2 patches ago and Anet just nerfed them again. Better to buff slightly and see how it works then overbuff and then have to nerf right away. Warriors can feel your pain about obstructed arrows though. We also have to deal with the same issues of obstructed arrows. Trying to defend keeps/towers on the wall as a bow user is terrible. The lip of the wall causes everything to be obstructed so you have to get on tippy edge of the wall.

My question was geniune, not sure why the hostility. I see so many rangers in WvW, if you are fighting a zerg of 50 you are also fighting a zerg of 30 ranger pets.

You and wm were very appreciated here on sbi, and we need you to come back. also i must warn you, i have seen another very large guild (ruin) go to a lower european server. week after week they spawn camped other servers thru out the ranks, so much boredom, so little to do. people started to fade away into other games… the boredom of pve is not enough for pvp players to keep them interested. lack of badges, from lack of fights… lack of experience from lack of quality fights… by the time they got to tier 1, they were burnt out, so bored of game.. 90% left to other games… that extremely large guild of 900 members.. i maybe see 10 around now, scattered throughout servers.

Ah, ok. I saw some of them running around with the ND guys in the SoR BL this morning.

Yeah I’m not sure which game they are playing now but they aren’t a powerhouse guild like they were before (in terms of the sheer numbers they could field a month ago before they came here).

Ah okay tkalama, if half of you didn’t show up then that would explain it. I still think the tactical mistake (from my perspective) of certain SoR guilds staying in bay in BG BL defending it for so long (SoR had a huge zerg there) while Choo could have used the help elsewhere was a big advantage for BG and TC. Sometimes it is better to make a tactical retreat. The 50 SoR in BG BL defending bay could have easily done a lot of dmg taking back stuff in EBG or helping out in SoR BL. It seems it has happened 2 weeks in a row where SoR get tunnel vision in BG BL From our perspective, we will gladly keep one of your best guilds locked down in a single keep in BG BL while we take your stuff elsewhere.

Any form of quickness can do this (thief has access to it, warrior etc). Also there is a weapon sigil that can proc quickness, sometimes it procs at the perfect time right before the enemy goes down allowing me to stomp them fast.

Go TC, rooting for you! ;0)

TC plays for the fights, winning isn’t as high on the list as fights.
SoR plays for the fights, winning isn’t as high on the list as the fights.
BG from this thread seems to only care about winning, with good fights 2nd or whatever.

At least that’s how I’ve been viewing all the “TC should attack SoR” posts and such. It seems BG wants to have TC fight SoR and vice versa more then fight BG, however TC/SoR really seem to not care as long as there are super fun fights, win or lose, who their enemy is.

I mean in reality, what does coming in 1st do? nothing other then grow an ego complex for some.
When you play for the fights, you play for the long term win or lose.

(Note it’s only my opinion, so take it or leave it.)

Ahh yes. Bg is the big bad evil server who only cares about winning. I was the one who asked TC if they were gonna play to stay in third or play to progress in the rankings lol. Funny how a question becomes something more. Basing server attitudes off of 1 guys post is dumb.

Technically wont win focusing on each other anyways. The idea of focusing on the leader is to deprive them of getting the potential points they need. If we ignored you and went after each other, it more or less means you can do what you want. It makes no sense to focus on each other.

Doesn’t make sense for SoR because you are already in 2nd and want to keep it that way. BUT it does make sense for TC if they actually want to progress and move into 2nd place. Afterall, you have to be 2nd before you can become 1st. TC ignoring SoR only helps SoR hold 2nd place while it guarantees that TC will stay in third.

BG attacking SOR at Bay on one end, while TC attacks SOr at Bluebriar on the other side. Meanwhile they dont attack each other.

As if BG or TC hasn’t been in that position before.

To be fair, BG were used stacks months ago, our EU guilds on BG were amazing at it. They don’t do them anymore though. You should have seen the outcry from JQQ and SBI when BG guilds were using the turtle against them. Turtles were nerfed a week later, go figure.

Thanks for banning the exploiters who knowingly took advantage of this and proceeded to do it 100s of times or more.

I’ve noticed most TC I fight are up leveled. Is that why they all stay in big zergs like that? Or is there some strategy behind it.

BG on track to get the 45 glicko rating others predicted was impossible this week.

Not if TC’s prime time is NA as well (don’t know if it is). But it would = SoR and TC both going at it hard in their prime time (NA) and obviously SoR won’t be getting as much of a dominant ppt tick because there is still somewhat more competition for it during that time, unlike BG who supposedly has superior oceanic coverage and SoR supposedly having nearly a non existent night crew which means BG gets to dominate during their oceanic prime time whilst SoR and TC still have to fight it out during their NA prime times ;D

BG won even when IoJ was here and they didn’t have a strong NA primetime and IoJ was able to match or beat our Oceanic coverage with their huge Aussie guilds.
