Blackgate played well in Tier 1 the last couple of weeks. Maybe you just don’t like them.

BG won T2 for so long a lot of hate got pushed their way from those they were fighting.
I think BG has shown they have both the skill and attitude to do as well in T1 as anyone.
Personally I just got tired of the chest thumping they did before we had guilds transfer in for off peak NA hours. Silly to beat your chest for ticking away at 600+ uncontested, ya know?
It doesn’t mean anything especially when servers can gain a massive amount of glicko through farming glicko for 3 weeks straight off a dead T1 server. Anet finally had to reset the ratings because of situations like that.
This is off the assumption that the math behind Anets glicko system is staying the same. But they’ve already said it will be different so blowouts may not give as much rating as they used to.
SoS loses a match – “the world is imploding what do we do?!” – Reconstruct yourselves you guys do great work. I may nix your “strategy” calling and what not but you do play a fine hand of Chess.
BG loses a match – “We will give them everything we’ve got and go out proudly.” – Good show BG, I’ve loved to hate our battles here with you over the past couple of weeks. Much like I have the last time, this time though you have seemed much tougher.
Thanks man, that means a lot. I think BG has had a great run in T1 this time, I am confident after the ratings reset and stuff goes through we will be back in tier 1!
I feel bad for my TC friends, I knew you guys were thrilled when BG left because you’d be in a way more even matchup and wouldn’t be nightcapped into oblivion every night.
I would imagine that with the monetary lock on transfers, it makes t2 the “bench” for T1.
There is a big gap between t2 to t1 in terms of numbers, just like t5 to t4 for instance. The ideal was to have 6 servers that could realistically compete in t1. But that dream is dead, the experiment is a failure. SoR and BG will be the kings of T2 and will alternate every few weeks to be the whipping boy of tier 1 is what I predict.
Currently just 16 rating points separates T2 SoR from T1 BG.
Those aren’t final ratings. But cool, I’m not sure what the context of your statement is supposed to be though? Are you disagreeing with me? As it stands, I believe BG and SoR will switch spots every few weeks and will be the defacto kings of Tier 2 (enough numbers to win t2 easily, not enough to win t1).

Why pick BG? Why not, BG is still alive and kicking unlike EVERY other server who fell out of tier 1. Those other servers fell apart after leaving t1 (for whatever reasons) but BG hasn’t, we made it to tier 1 before, got our butts kicked too! But we didn’t fall apart, not the core of BG!
We kept going on, and we are back again and we are still here fighting! We haven’t given up even if we get our butts kicked and that earns a lot of respect. And our server for kitten sure isn’t falling apart even though we came in third last week! I think that says a lot about BG!
I find it funny that BG is the new SoS pet, SBI isnt coming back so you had to find a new one?

Come to BG, lots of people from all over teh world. Lots of SEA timezone people. We have Koreans, Fillipinos, Thai’s, etc. We have solid population in any timezone you play in.
Just want to give props to Agg for fighting us tonight in BG bl, and not bailing out! I was on my way to bed around 4 am when I heard you guys were in there, and decided to give it another hour. Had some of the best fights this week vs. you guys.
Its a real shame we cant fight some more, but hopefully we will end up in the same borderlands tomorrow for some more fights.
Please do not be discouraged BG. You have fought well this week.

You already hold teh PPT lead for 90% of the day and win t1 easily. Why do you need Euros? What “difference” will Euros make to SoS besides even LESS competition in tier 1? I’m honestly curious here!
