Because Maguuma borderlands with the home advantage is the only borderlands worth playing. Being forced into any of the other 3 servers is unacceptable and we won’t stop throwing matches until our home borderlands is permanently under the pop cap.

We’re not purposely trying to throw the match, a lot of us are just seriously burned out right now.

Just go out and kill people, that is where the fun is. The points don’t matter.

There are a lot of factors as to why I’m not doing that, one is running on 3 hours of sleep right now. We have been doing some silly troll ganking, but yeah. :P

It’s also the kind of unnecessary chest thumping that happens when you take all the people on a game who demand nothing but victory and put them on the same server. Look at the appeal Kaineng had. “Transfer here and win in wvw forever”, was pretty much their marketing campaign. The audience that that marketing campaign is going to attract is the obnoxious, boasting kitten.

I say be glad Kaineng took those people off your server, and hope they stay in tier 2 away from us.

No, I don’t speak Korean but a good half of WM + speaks at least some English. For the rest they have several translators though.

Kaineng has quite a few Taiwanese players as well. It can be an issue but we get along just fine with strategically placed translators during highly active times.

What he meant is that usually stomping isn’t worth it in large fights because all of the AoE going on is likely to kill the person before someone gets a stomp off anyway. But if people are still getting rezzed then obviously someone is doing something wrong

The funny thing about this conversation is that Mag is traditionally pretty bad at reset.

I think reset is the worst time to play and probably when the most casuals are out. Guilds don’t always get their people in where they want because of the queues. I don’t even bother, the huge zergs make combat a slideshow and its just a bunch of spamming because of how massive the fights are.

The real work gets done during the week I think. Of course some matches aren’t close enough for that to matter, but many are too.

I don’t remember T4 being so laggy and quite as zergy. Maybe the grass is always greener.
