Like more and more mentioned, there is no way to craft ascended Giver stats and probably no Winter stats for jewel crafting later.
I thought it will be possible this wintersday when we can collect snowflakes.
The argue that we shouldnt use snowflakes to craft ascended things when its only able at a specific time could be solved with an ice block node for our home instances where we can pic snowflakes.
So why we cant craft this cool stat combinations? It could be Tixx´armor and weapon set?
Here is my idea why: Will we be able to craft boon and condi Duration Infusions when jewelcrafting is up to 500?
I think that would be a nice idea with infusions with*1%/2% or maybe 3% Durations.

What do u think? Any ideas which infusions could be implemented too?

Mystic Forge Recipes over rank 60

This is a question to experienced pvp Players with shark rank or higher.
Do you know the recipes of specific weapons and armors? when i search for those recipes i cant find some above bear rank.
With the new glory merchant we are able to get with salvaging high rank token, but dont know how to use it.
I personally want to have the trooper chest(medium shark) without spending 15g for an armor that we have already except this armor Piece.
It would be cool when some People know that recipes even the most pvp Players dont care about there armor.

Brainstorming Better Trapper

i think changing the two trap traits is not solving the problem
its like with coming change that moving spirits is in master tier instead grandmaster
for me its the same with placeble traps
an idea just comes to my mind i dont know if it helps
what about just switching some effects of the traits instead the whole traits?

and instead of switching some traits with wilderness survival like one dev suggested i woukd rather like to see switching traits with markmanship. so they can trigger with power and dondition duration
but maybe thats the reason why anet didnt made trap traits in this line
could be too strong to have a 30/#/30/#/# build. traps with condition dmg and duration? sounds cool but i can see that thiaswould be nerfed some time

Suggestions to some ranger traits

Markmanship III Keen Edge:
Good Trait, only Problem is that it triggers on objects.For example It is not useful to activate it when we hit a door in WvW and then have this trait on CD.

Skirmishing IX Honed AxeS:
I would suggest to give +10% when wielding an axe in offhand too.
But i dont know how to Trigger when we use double axe, maybe 15%?

Beastmastery IX Intimidation Training:
The Problem with this trait is that the most attacks of canines Focus on immobilize, Fear and Chill.
the Krytan Drakehound Causes 2s immoblize, with this trait 5s cripple to, so 2s of cripple are wasted.
The same with Alpine Wolf, it causes 3s of Chilled so we have only 2s of cripple.
What i suggest is, that this trait Triggers with the next attack after using the F2 so that we dont waste cripple.

as i said ist an answer to the other thread where all nerfs are collected
here are my answers to all of u

SUDDEN pet damage reduction?! SUDDEN?! the actual meta was the beastmaster and they needed to fix it, why? let me explain. with our 0/0/30/10/30 we were TANKS, while we used HIGH DMG pets who done more dmg then more Players. I remeber how i fought a Guardian and my raven hit him and over the half of his HP were gone! That was the reason why anet nerfed us, it was unbalanced, a tank ranger with high dmg pet? We needed nothing to do except let our pet deal more dmg then other classes

and omg i am so sry that i forgot to delete the line with the shortbow range decrease
but let us see the “big Picture”.
We have one of the strongest Bursts one RANGE, when u cant Play a longbow then ist your Problem.
We have one of the biggest Vulnerability pools ingame, give ur foe vuln. and ist like u have a power buff
We have an “berserker-line” with Prec/crit dmg
We have two traits in a line that help us against CC
We have almost full cleanse of Conditions every 10s
We have after the patch with bark Skin a trait thats like a 25% HP boost
We have Spirits which give us perma prot, burn on foe (still after patch) and an elite Spirit which can heal ourselfes from DOWNSTATE (right timed)
We can dodgeroll often (still after patch) and loose poison and blend, best way to heal full and Play against thiefes
We can have perma regen and Swift with natures voice, a buff to that grandmaster would be too OP, what do you want?
we can have two Utility skills to be unvulnerable for 6s (one when traited)
we have enough stun breaker and one full cleanse of conditions (why no one uses the green signet?!) as AoE
we have troll unguent on low CD so we can start a fight, activate them, gain over 8000HP in 10s and after 15s we can use it again) and the spring that clean in 10s 5 conditions of me and allies (while in spring and before the “nerf” it was every 3s)
Need more? we can deal perma weakness (its just the anti condition for power builds) with axe and pets
sword and dagger have evades on low CD, the greatsword autoattack have 1s evade every 2s
we can easily stack immob on foe and kill him with conditions or pure dmg, how we like it
it is extreme hard to kill us underwater and all in all we have downed the Chance to heal ourselfes faster then all other classes

so i cant understand the perma QQ of all rangers in that Forum, when someone cant Play rangers as they are they should learn it or reroll warrior where it is easy to feel like a pro with less skill.

You are not a good Player just because you Play the strongest class, you are a strong Player when Play the “underpowered” and “Permanerfed” ranger and can kill nevertheless other skilled Players

Nature Magic IX – Two Handed Training. Added the following functionality to this trait. Greatsword and Spear attacks have a chance to grant Fury on hit. 50% chance. 3s Fury. 10s cooldown.
Beastmastery VI – Mighty Swap. The might from this trait is now applied to you and your pet. (3 Stacks Might for 15s)

So Stop talking please rangers just get nerfed every patch and are all in all weak and QQ and so on.
Ranger is strong but when you have no knowledge of your class and the System you will never be a strong ranger. When you have Problems with something Train your skills. you lost a game? Dont argue the ranger class is weak, think what went wrong how could i improve my builds?
Look at actual metas of every class and think about it what is the best way to kill DPS builds, or condi builds, CC builds, Tanks.
and again, when u have Problems with sword autoattack—> Strg + Rightclick on #1 sword
Everything will be easier

• “Protect Me”: This ability now breaks stuns.
• Path of Scars: This skill now pulls enemies on the return flight.
• Long Range Shot: Reduced the aftercast from 0.5s to 0.25s. Increased the arrow speed by 15%.
• Rapid Fire: Increased the arrow speed by 15%.
• Point Blank Shot: Increased the arrow speed by 15%.
• Barrage: Increased the cripple duration by 50%.
• Man O’ War: The base recharge has been increased from 18 to 25.
• Counterstrike: The base recharge has been increased from 15 to 20.
• Swirling Strike: Increased damage by 33%.
• Crossfire: Decreased the range to 900.
• Quick Shot:. Increased the damage by 14%.
• Crippling Shot:Increased the damage by 14%.
• Concussion Shot Increased the damage by 14%. Reduced the aftercast by .25 seconds.
• Spirit-activated skill range increased from 180 to 240 (360 when traited).
• Call Lightning: Increased the damage by 150%.
• Solar Flare: Decreased the cast time from 1.7s to 0.5s
• Keen Edge: This trait now activates when the player strikes a target whose health is below 50%, instead of when the player’s health reaches 75%.
• Beastmaster’s Might: This trait now grants 3 stacks of might for 15 seconds.
• Spotter: This trait has been increased from 70 precision to 150.
• New Grandmaster trait—Nature’s Voice: Shouts apply 10s of regen and swiftness to allies in a 360 radius.
• Peak Strength: Damage bonus when the player’s health is above 90% has been increased from 5% to 10%.

23. July (Cutthroat Politics)
• Rapid Fire: This skill now applies vulnerability on each hit.
• Hunter’s Shot: This skill no longer applies vulnerability on each hit, but now grants stealth for 3 seconds.
• Point Blank Shot: Increased the range from 600 to 900.
• Maul: This skill now applies vulnerability instead of bleeding.
• Counterattack—Crippling Throw: This skill can now be used while moving. Increased the cripple duration to 5s
• Whirling Defense: This skill now grants 4s of retaliation for the duration of the skill.
• Call of the Wild: This skill is now a blast finisher.
• Remorseless: This trait now reapplies Opening Strike when the ranger gains stealth or kills an enemy.

15. October (Blood and Madness)
• Healing Spring: Reduced the field duration to 10s. It now pulses every 2s instead of 3, so it will still provide the same amount of regeneration and condition removal, just in a more condensed time frame.
• Vigorous Renewal: This trait now grants vigor to the ranger and nearby allies when the Healing Spring skill is cast and not on every pulse.
• Maul: Damage for this skill has been increased by 7%. Vulnerability has been increased from 3 stacks to 5 stacks, and the duration has been increased from 6s to 8s
• “Sic ’Em”: This shout now applies 4s of revealed on the targeted enemy.
• Vigorous Training: This trait now grants 5s of vigor to nearby allies (600 radius) when swapping any pet type in combat.
• Pet F2 improvements

10. December (Wintersday #2)
Long Range Shot. Increased the damage at 500 range by 20%.
Long Range Shot. Increased the damage at 500-1000 range by 15%.
Skirmishing XII – Moment of Clarity. Stun Duration increased from 50% to 100%.

As an answer to the thread “List of nerfs”
Here is my list of Buffs
I had to short that list, there are less important buffs to the ranger i leave out here.
All in All i shortened the decriptions to make it easier to read.
Just remember not all Updates changed skills and traits, most of them just fixed ingame descriptions
15. November (Lost shores)
• Splinter Shot: damage is increased by 150% and bleeding duration increased from 3s to 4s..
• Maul: damage has been increased by 40%.

14, December (Wintersday)
• Sick ’Em: Increased the damage and move speed from 25% to 40%.
• Search & Rescue: Increased pet movement speed to 25% while under the effects of this shout and the revive rate for this ability.
• Lick Wounds: Revive rate has been increased.
• Signet of the Hunt: Increased the passive movement from 10% to 25%.
• Moment of Clarity: Now also increases daze and stun duration by 50%.
• Beastmaster’s Bond: Now triggers at 50% instead of 25%.
• Increased the velocity of arrows by 30%.
• Ranger melee pets now have improved melee attacks so they can hit moving targets more easily.

26. February (Flame&Frost – The Gathering Storm)
• Crippling Talon: Cooldown of this ability has been reduced from 18s to 15s.
• Path of Scars: Damage has been increased by 85% when not traited.

26. March (Flame & Frost – The Razing)
• Maul skill: Increased bleeding duration from 4s to 6s and base damage by 26%.
• Counterattack skill: Reduced recharge from 20s to 15s.
• Hilt Bash skill: Reduced recharge from 30s to 25s.
• Quickening Zephyr skill: Now breaks stun. Increased duration from 4s to 5s
• Pet-revive skills no longer fail to heal their target.

30. April (Flame & Frost – Retrebution)
• “Guard” skill: Reduced cooldown from 30s to 15s
• “Sic ’Em” skill: Reduced cooldown to 40s from 60s
• Lightning Reflexes skill: Reduced cooldown from kitten to 40s
• Signet of Stone skill: Reduced cooldown from 120s to 80s and increased passive toughness by 100%
• Signet of the Wild: Reduced cooldown from 120s to 60s and duration from 12s to 8s.
• Increased health of all non-elite spirits by 60%.

interisting plans for pvp, but here some things to think about it
prestigious cultural armor in pvp will be negated, a lot of People, dont matter if PvE or WvW have cultural armor, This armors should Keep Special in everyones eyes in pvp, i would suggest not to unlock them only u have them in PvE, they Need to represent skill and experience, its not fair when a skilled pvp Looks liked an “unskilled” newbie from pvp. i know “its just armor” but this armor represent at this Moment the love of one Player to pvp. (and no i dont have cultural armor in pvp, i am rank 36)

legendary weapons
We all know that u plan to implement this unique weapons to pvp, Thats cool and it should be last longer to get them in pvp, but pls dont do it that Players who have legendarys in pve can get them in pvp, just because they got them already. Vice versa too, legendarys are prestigious weapons, but the reality says a lot of People in lions arch have them already, pls dont let us see the heart of the mists with colourfull footprints, shiny auras and metallic armor like in LA

Other Skins
like i read in These articles, some People are against gaining dungeons armors/weapons via Gold… +1. its not fair, with that idea are dungeons less worth, even they just got runned because of Gold
But there are other Skins that we miss in pvp, like the inquest weapons, or the new weapons from Champion boxes. Dont Forget the new Ascended weapons and the coming Armor, will we see them in Pvp because we use them in PvE?

The Gold we will get from PvP is a very nice idea, but ist dangerous.
Yes we should get Gold, no we should not get too much Gold.
I personally dont wanna see that PvP, the Esport in this game, become a farm method like dolyak or Pavillon. It should reward us, but not that much that absolutely newbies run pvp én mass and ruin others the fun. That would just lead to one Thing, a new skyhammer farm. No one wants to see this.
No Player wants to see this who dont like pvp to get “farmed”, no Player who has a good rank and good skill just have the same rank like an guy who just farmed it with a new method and have no idea what he is doing in pvp
i know ranks will be removed but until that its Long time and i hope u will Change your mind regarding this theme

oh and regarding to the new healing skills…dont let them bee too OP like healing signet of warrior..pls pls

which red do u use?

but we can see that we had the possibility to dye our armor as we like, without looking to our Skin Color
now the armor do not glow and in a red/White armor is a blue Point that doesnt fit

New Changes to Sylvari Cultural Armor

i think the idea of kattami with the fourth dye channel for medium t3 is great anf the idea of switching the dye channels too

when i am reading the forum we need to make more clear which armors we are using
what i saw is that the rollback of medium t3 was wrong. i think all adventurer with this armor can underline this?
medium t2 are different meanings but okay i dont like this armor in general.
for the heavy armor i cant read much but some people miss the glow like last week
and the light armor is really difficult and its hard to solve the problem to make all scholars happy. especially for t3.

i think its the best way to solve that Problem
the old textures are surely not deleted and i think its easy to add them for the cultural armor vendor
we think its easy, i dont know what anet thinks about this, how much work that could be, but i hope they see that everyone could be happy with this, even when we can do this only one time

here my sylvari ranger with parts of medium t3

first Picture were last week
see there are only my two dyes White and White Gold, my stomach Looks good, sharp colours, where Gold were Gold and no mix between light Brown and purple

the next two..today pictures
why are there purple lines? i changed nothing in my dye channel
my sylvari have nothing on her Body thats purple..or red..or anything else, i know it because i used my makeover kit three times

she is a very sympathetic dev and i think she can help us with a compromise
i really hope it will be changed back but with slightly differents, but all in all i hope (for my medium female T3) the dye contrasts will look like before that patch today
i do not know how the other armors changed and glow was never a theme for me, but your wishes should become true

i wear the T3 armor
i cant understand how People could like it too have on the chest back another colour they didnt choosed and in the front their colours but cant see them so perfect and clear like yesterday
it was a good Change because you could dye your armor as you like, without spending hours to create your perfect sylvari, that Shows that the Skin before was wrong, now ist rolled back, how can somebody want this?

Last update made my sylvari ranger so perfect.
Finally the cultural armor was independant to my colours of my Skin and hair.
My sylari was a dream in Firmament and Gold
Now she is a “dream” in White, Gold and purple, u cant even see the Gold on the chest
Few days ago i wanted to thank you personally for that improvement but now you changed it back

i cant even understand why there is purple in my armor when my sylvari is White coloured!

(6) Applies 5 stacks of confusion with a 10 second duration
Rune is added with Queen’s Jubilee release
Rune is not available in sPvP

the last Point should stand there forever
the actual rune is too OP to let it be avaible in PvP
in few seconds a foe have over 10 stacks confusion? anet pls do not add this, only when this rune gets a hard nerf

the sigils of malice and bursting could be too strong by the actual condition meta, so a no to this two

rune of tormenting could be okay but in one rune +45% Duration is too high

rune of the noble would be cool too see now in pvp since the mf Change

and, thats only a personal opinion, no runes which add a pet by your site like the ogre rune (annoying dog!)

the new rune with aegis on signet yes, but maybe without heal skill Signets
the new toughness sigil yes too

Traps and healing spring

Just a question for fellow rangers. Spike trap/poison traps would be lovely to have fields on similar to flame/frost. For poison trap, a poison field would make sense, but is there any obvious field that could fit with spike trap?
The current spike trap feels a bit like a lack-luster version of thief caltrops and connecting it to a field would make it feel a bit more unique.

first, not an important reason, the enemy gets bites by snakes, why a poisonfield?
And the poion field could be too strong.
when u jump or blast through a poison field you apply weakness (5s for blast in aoe, 8s for leap). with sword/horn u can apply many weakness on 20/16s cd and perma weakness would be too strong.
Its not only a conter against power builds, ist a conter for almost all builds
ist even critical that we can apply perma weakness with axe mainhand.
it would be okay to have a poison field but only if ist a short Duration.

i would like too add the idea of another ranger who suggested in Forum to let us activate the trap on demand when we want the Combo field.

that wont Change because other classes are more specialists in their Play
warriors do dmg and stun, guards tank and Support, necros make AoE with conditions and eles AoE, heals and do dmg from behind
ranger are not supposed to very important in WvW because we are the survival class with the pet.
Ranger Groups can roam around and spike a zerg before the main zerg Comes

but thats no Argument to use to say ranger are underpowered

but yeah…its a shame to Play a ranger, not because the ranger class is weak…just because the ranger community seems to be a QQ-Family.
Dont get me wrong, i Play main ranger and only ranger but ist not cool to see how many ranger seem to be not able to Play their class.
We have a traitline that gives us two abilities to avoid CC, a nearly full condi clean every 10s, after the patch we could use instead a trait that is like a 25% HP boost.
We are good supporter with Spirits and shouts and horn.
We have many evades, not just with natural vigor, shortbow, the swords and dagger have evades with low cd.
We have many conditions, u could be able to make some conditions, run away and let the enemy bleed out, u just Need to give them condition over time.
We have one of the strongest Bursts on RANGE. the Enemy are half-dead until they do dmg.
We have two skills that gives us 6s of no dmg.
Even as power rangers we can survive Long enough against two or three enemys to stay on a Point until help Comes.
rapid fire has cool Long cast time that still attacks the enemy when they port
U Need a full condi clean? then use the signet and switch the pet.
U get root when u use sword? Strg + right click on #1 – Problem solved
Problems in WvW? yeah okay everything that we can do like boon Support, dmg and so on can other classes better, but then try something new and help the zerg with skills that disturbs the red blob, traps, muddy Terrain, entangle

so pls stop crying that rangers are weak, underpowered or something like that
Rangers are strong enough, the only Problem is that sometimes the pets do f2 too late
and when u hate it that ur pet dies in AoE dmg that press f3 before they die and stop let them run around like they want, u dont Need a dog whisperer for it.

i think when the tequatl weapons have black fog arounf it and the Halloween shield Skin black flames, a torch with black flames could be possible.
And when user of Howler have White fog around his Body, a torch with White flames would be possible to create.
I hoped the ascended torches could bring us this flames but okay, they are still cool

Do u have other Skin ideas?
I would like to see a shield looks like a painting. Just like the painting at the AH in lions arch or the paintings in caudecus manor

i think we will be able to make own infusions when the others crafting Jobs scaled to lv 500 with far better stats then this u can buy in WvW with +5 stats.

I like the idea of leamas too, but i dont think anet will do this, how to work with Players who Plays with traits/skills/runes with +25% movement Speed? Speed increases do not stack.
I think infusions with Boon and condition Duration would be cool when anet decides to make no asc winter/giver stats .
But i think we will all see this with windersday update

every armor u can see in the locker are also gettable in PvE.
There are more armor Skins then the few u know from Level 80.
The only armor sets u cant wear in PvE with one character are the two order Skins u didnt choosed and the other cultural armor Skins.
The rest is avaible via WvW (armor and Skins for badges), crafting, AH and the dungeon armors.

U think this trait is too strong and too easy to get. what about this idea instead of nerf it:
Move Companion´s Defense to 5, Peak Strengh to 15 and Natural Vigor to 25?
so i think that could work. this minor trait is still strong but u most invest more Points in wilderness survival then before, so it is more balanced.

One of the issues we are working on for thieves this patch is the dependence on the traits which boost initiative. We did this by shaving a significant amount of initiative gain from these traits while simultaneously boosting the generic rate of initiative gain by 33%. We have also somewhat reduced the effectiveness of high evasion thieves by reducing vigor up time and adding some cast time to the Shadow Return skill on the sword. This prevents these thieves from evading too much and too easily dealing with being disabled (stun, daze, fear, knockdown, etc.). Also we are trying to improve the survivability of thieves in the Acrobatics line through easier access to the Hard to Catch trait and increased effectiveness of the Assassin’s Reward trait. This will reward thieves who are actively engaged in the fight rather than those who are just dodging over and over again. The change to Infusion of Shadow is meant to stop players from gaining initiative by applying stealth while already in stealth. This should keep thieves from being able to recharge all of their power while idling in a very long stealth. We felt that using a lot of different abilities to maintain stealth is ok, but re-using the same ability over and over for almost permanent stealth was just bad for the game, especially when gaining large amounts of initiative.
•Increased the base rate of initiative gain from .75/second to 1/second.
•Shadow Return on Sword. Renamed to Infiltrator’s return. Added a 1/4s cast time.
•Pistol Whip. Reduced the after cast on the first half of this skill by .25 seconds.
•Deadly Arts VI – Sundering Strikes. Increased the trigger chance from 50%. Remove ICD. Decrease Vulnerability duration to 6s.
•Critical Strikes VI – Practiced Tolerance. Increased conversion from 5% to 7%.
•Critical Strikes 15 – Opportunist. Increased trigger chance to 50%. Increase cooldown from 1s to 5s.
•Critical Strikes VIII – Signet Use. Reduced initiative gain from 2 to 1.
•Critical Strike X – Critical Haste. Increase trigger chance to 25%.
•Shadow Arts V – Infusion of Shadow – This trait functionality has been changed to “Gain initiative when you enter stealth.” 2 init.
•Acrobatics III – Vigorous Recovery. Reduced Vigor duration to 4s from 8s.
•Acrobatics IV – Assassin’s Retreat. Increased swiftness duration to 20s.
•Acrobatics IX – Quick Recovery. Reduced initiative gain from 2 to 1.
•Acrobatics X – Assassins Reward. Increased healing scaling by 35%. Moved to Grandmaster Tier.
•Acrobatics XI – Hard to catch. Moved to Master Tier.
•Trickery 5 – Kleptomaniac. Reduce initiative gain from 3 to 2.
•Trickery IV – Flanking Strikes. Move to Master tier.
•Trickery VII – Bountiful Theft. Reduced vigor duration to from 15s to 8s.
•Trickery VIII – Trickster. Move to Adept tier.

Bad idea!
ist one of the best traits the ranger has and makes a ranger more viable because this great trait cost only 5 Points.
The ranger has big issues with doing as much dmg than other classes but we have the possibility to dodge them more than others what makes it more balanced. Thats my opinion.
When u u strongly believe the ranger can evade too many attackes, then u could decrease a little bit the evade time of sword and dagger skills 3 and 4.
please dont nerf the Thing rangers make Special, the cool survivabilty! :/

PS: please add the weakness Duration in the tooltip of axe #3 and the stability Duration of signet of the wild, thanks

hey People
like everybody knows, anet is working on new weapons for all classes.
for that i have two ideas, maybe you think they are cool.
I hope that you can understand what i mean and that my English is good enough to explain my ideas.

First idea is that all staffs could not only be used to cast spells, but could used for melee fights like in Japan (Bojutsu).
So i think rangers and thiefes could use this Option to fight with acrobatic moves around the enemy.

My second idea would be chains as a new weapon
This is inspired by God of War how Kratos fights with his chains against Monsters.
Chains could be used as 2H weapon or mainhand or maybe offhand.
It could be used for immobilizing, stuns, pull backs and all in all for almost all conditions.
the nightmare court already uses lashes agains us and thats how i imagine how we could chains in fight

thief bug?

i played pvp on the map skyhammer.
I fought against a thief at the cannon and knocked him over the platform. I saw how he is falling some meters and suddenly he is Standing behind me.
Could it be that he used his his sword 2 skill to teleport back?
when it is so i think thats not fair and should be fixed.
All in all i think that skill should be nerfed.
it should cost more Points,the time to teleport back should be shorter and the range should be decreased
i heard some pvp Players who say thats the most broken skill in guild wars 2 and of course, when i am watchin 1vs1 Arenas i only see thiefes who spamming this skill all over and the other Player have no possibility to attack them because the thiefes just porting around .

i dont like the idea of moving traits around
the idea of remorseless would be too OP for WvW in zerg fights for example
and with longbow #3 to loose every 9s (when skilled) all dmg conditions? that would be too powerful. maybe the Chance to loose one condition each time we gain stealth
the cast time of rapid fire would too long, the current is okay

+1 for axe offhand and warhorn
i think would be cool when the cast time of axe mainhand autoattack could be slightly shorter
and pounce of sword have an “leap finisher” Chance of 20%

Skill ideas for ranger

Hello my ranger friends
i have some different ideas for skill that anet could think about to implement when we can unlock new traits and skills

first of all i think an Utility skill with an active heal would be nice
what about the idea that the pet could give a part of his HP to us, it would be like a Meditation like the Guardians have? maybe the half pet HP become 20% health for us dont know, it should be not to OP and the question is if the pet could die after that skill.

the next idea is quiete cool i think.
What about a skill, that could allow us to Change the Position with our pet?
so we have a big Moment of surprise and could find very cool new tactics, it could be used as a stun breaker or a get closer or a get away.
for that skill we Need a range lower that the range of our pet, i think of maybe 1200 could be very cool, but maybe to strong, we could look how far thiefes ( kitten thiefes! xD ) and Guardians can teleport for example.

the next idea could be probably an elite
we could summone both pets, both will get full HP, or maybe just the second and attack the enemy. its just like the one PvE sylvari elite with farn dog.
I dont know if we should have the Chance to control our second pet, maybe to strong, when i could imagine that we press our elite and when we press it a second time the summoned pet activate his F2 skill.
for example u use bear and wolf, ur bear is active and u activate ur elite. when u press again the elite the wolf starts his howl and grant fear.
maybe that idea is too strong when u use a hyena and have 3 pets on ur side…THAT would be a real beastmaster

now just comments to the Situation of the ranger
first our pets
i read so much like that the pet AI should be fixed, but never read WHAT should be fixed and why and where
i think in pvp are the pets okay, its a hard Job to kite our pets
in PvE i agree, sometimes its really embarrising when you just walk around and notice that ur pet pulled a lot of Mobs. my idea is that anet could Change the behavior between Mobs and pets, maybe that Mobs “see” our pet in a lower range, i think that could help.
what anet also could improve are the F2 attacks, sometimes its difficult to activate them and the pet start that skill some seconds later, maybe its my mistake when i activate the Special skill while my pet use another normal skill i dont know, but would be nice if they react faster. and when pets could stand closer to us, sometimes they sit 500 away from us xD
another idea is that the behavior of our pets could Change when we jump.
For example in PvP the map raid on the capricorn, the cliff next to the beach, when i jump off and fight against others, my pet runs a complete round until it is there, would be easier for me when they port to me instead of running away

and now to all the “Change this or i quit” threads in this ranger Forum
i know its sometimes very difficult for us and since the beastmaster nerf “rangerok” is over, but that class isnt dead!
We can make such cool builds, we have awesome traits, the only Problem for the most people is to try their class! u only become a good ranger when u make ur own builds and dont copy and paste from the Internet.
Ranger is a hard to Play class, it is not the easiest class to learn, but its worth.
Anet makes a good Job and try their best to improve it, sometimes they dont get it so right like everyone wants, but they learn from it.
and dont think about that rumour that no dev is playing ranger, a lot of devs do, even if the most devs in streams we see are Playing warrior.

i hope for some constructive Feedback
