PvP modes are the “endgame” in all MMOs.
Stop failing at PvE, and fix WvW/SPvP. Thank you.
I agree with OP mainly because F&N are not balanced.
If i get -40% condi duration in wvw, why isn’t there a food that reduces physical dmg by 40%?
Logic please.
That’s not a fair reason.
I tried to point to the fact, that +/- 40% of anything shouldn’t exist at all.If you use +40% condi duration food, that -40% on enemis won’t mean that you have your normal condi duration on them, but much less. Not to mention Melandru runes.
Conditions should influence WvW gameplay at least as much as normal dmg does. Now it’s only take this food -> enemies will get tired of doing no dmg with conditions -> they will change build -> you don’t need to care about conditions anymore.
#FairBalance.Oh… wait.. i suspect it is intended to be so, because less conditions mean less pressure on servers. What about reducing boon durations as well? I’m sure its a good idea in terms of
bandwidth usagebalance.
“Protection” says hello.
And Toughness asks “You forgot about me?”
While I personally never used or even knew about this bug before it was patched, I have on occasion put a wrong buy order on an item – for example, instead of submitting 2 silver, I submitted 200 gold or a similar stupid mistake. And in those cases, the TP is very forgiving. I’m just worried that the current system doesn’t forgive a genuine mistake.
There really isn’t a way to make a genuine mistake. You have to manually change it to not sell to the highest buy order. It starts with the highest sell order in the box.
Anyone who did this had to delete all the numbers out of the gold column manually and then try and sell.
And that’s where a genuine mistake can happen.
Say the highest buy order for an item is buying it for 39.50s
The lowest seller for said item is 45.50s, but I want to sell it for higher.
So I list the item for 49.50s, but oh no, I made a mistake, instead I listed it for 9.50s and it automatically gets sold at that price.
Is that not a genuine mistake?
Sidenote: I’ve never made this mistake, and I think the OP’s post is hilarious, just saying that mistakes can happen.
You click the option for lowest seller, then you increase the price from there. Mistake or not, Anet’s not going to distinguish between someone avoiding listing fees and someone who made a mistake.
If someone LISTS an item for LOWER than the highest buy order, it should automatically say no, or match highest buy order. Same with putting an order higher than the lowest listing.
I’ve accidentally put up buy orders for (example) 2g per item instead of 2s per item, on multiple occasions, luckily I didn’t get screwed over yet. (2g x 250… yeah, dangerous)
I’ve definitely messed up sell listings, but not detrimentally low like in the OP’s example, but those occurrences should not be able to take place. It should cancel or match highest buy order.
But in a FPS game your KDR is exttremly important because it only depends on you. You can be paired with bads , lose 100% of your games and still have an amazing KDR and be on top of the ladder.
Amazing KDR almost always means nothing in PUG modes.
- Camping
- Kill stealing / last hitting
- Cheating or versing cheaters (haxxo00rrzz)
- Cheese guns (depending on game)
- Cheese ‘perks’ (if its that filthy scrub laughably bad CoD money milking franchise)
- “Role” (Depending on the game, some roles are for support, not killing)
Said PUG hero is probably terrible at all forms of team composition and tactics as well.
Unless its stats strictly taken from organized team tournaments, those count, sadly its never strictly this.
So no, KDR is not important or any kind of measurable statistic.
Other factors for other team games:
- Disconnects
- Leavers
- Too many builds in the game, your composition can’t beat the ones you verse, a lot of unlucky match ups in a row.
- Hackers
- Botters
(edited by thaooo.5320)
- Runes (Account bound)
- Sigils (Account bound)
- Tomes of Knowledge
- Superior Siege (Account bound, circumvented by dropping and picking up)
- All the gear stats available (Account bound still)
- Food and Oils (Account bound)
- Ascended weapons and armour (Tradable. jokes)
Just some ideas.
If you think big picture like that, then it makes a lot of sense already to play this “thankless” defensive game (when you already have enough people on offense to keep the enemy zergs busy of course), but unfortunately it doesn’t cater to the, “I’m going to run with the zerg to maximize MY points/achievements/xp/loot,” mentality that seems to grip most people.
It’s the definition of selfishness vs selflessness.
Food and oil aren’t free, nor are they attainable with badges.
New gear for a new build isn’t free. And runes/sigils aren’t available with badges.
Siege is half free half not (donations, and infrequent drops), and basic blueprints can be bought with badges. But superiors cannot be bought with badges, and are REALLY TIME CONSUMING to slowly 1 by 1 forge.
Repair cost before it was removed.
Money is a highly necessary part of WvW for some annoying reason, you can’t entirely blame players for seeking it out.
Why do a small minority of people keep defending repeated failure?
I haven’t actually posted in defense, but if I cared enough I certainly would simply for the fact that it seems 95% of the posts chastising Anet are making kittened arguments. My personal favorites are “they had 9 weeks to get this right” and “this wouldn’t be a problem if they were at least letting us know”. Well, unfortunately unforseen bugs are unforseen, and getting a play by play on bug fixing doesn’t do kitten.
Unforeseen? It’s a gigantic bleeding wound, how do you not see it? It’s called testing. Something every developer in the world does except for ones hired at ANet.
One test. And there would be no future roadblocks. Potholes are fine, roadblocks are not, they are much more easily seen before being reached.
This is also not the first time content has been released and the main part of it does not work. Had they tested the content ONCE, they could of fixed it BEFORE releasing it.
There was only one thing in this season that they had to work on and look at. One thing. The rewards. The rewards are the only new/changed thing. Everything else is the same old neglected WvW. They couldn’t even complete this one task correctly, and yes, in 9 entire weeks. It isn’t like they’re working on anything else in WvW.
It is sad how a company can repeat the EXACT SAME mistakes and not bother to learn from them, and then have people coming to their defence, even Allie came to defend the incompetence (I thought it was funny).
Win:lose and KDR mean nothing when there is so many varying factors that influence them.
Unless you’re self conscious about it for some reason, then my advice is to stop worrying.
Why do a small minority of people keep defending repeated failure?
(edited by thaooo.5320)
You’re only giving the example of T8. In T7, literally as I speak, we’re flipping each other’s keeps/towers in bls/eb and retaking them back and forth with 15+ groups.
Yes that’s called the Friday karma train.
If that happens on any other day of the week its kinda sad, its just PvE farming.
I for one wouldn’t do much communication with a community like this. For realz.
It isn’t the players fault that they are frustrated with WvW being neglected, with communication lines non existent. It’s all ANet’s doing.
So you’d be just like ANet? You would neglect WvW then when called out on it just stay silent?
Cool, we already get that here.

Even with pretty constant 24/7 coverage on all 3 T1 servers, they manage to hold enemy structures. T1 blobs can also melt gates with basic attacks, making it significantly harder to defend.
Tumbleweed8 has coverage gaps where it is possible to hold enemy structures for hours on end, meaning the enemy BL points should be much higher. Even if there is an attack/defence scenario, defending is much easier since the attacker can’t simply melt a gate by PvD.
Yeah, T8 is tumbleweed.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
Being restricted with having fights only on EBG sounds ludicrously boring. Guilds go out of their way to avoid that map in T1. Pretty sure most guilds in T2 and T3 prefer the borderlands too.
Yeah but in Tumbleweed8 it’s the only map with players on it. At certain hours of the day.
You are forced to SWORD in PvE as it is the only viable DPS. You are forced to CONDI BUNKER in PvP because power rangers do not exist.
Of course they do.

Template 1 (Only available inside of Heart of the Mists)
– Traits
– Amulet
– Sigil
– Rune
– Utility skills/elite skill
Template 2 (Only available outside of Heart of the Mists)
– Traits
– Utility skills/elite skill
And provide access to #1 or #2 depending on where the character is.
Weapons, armour and dyes, are not necessary, and probably not even possible for more than one reason. Templates for finishers are pointless.
Keep it basic and just get it done. If you want to improve it later, then do so, but get a working version out asap.
You are all recognizing the problem with PvP templates versus PvE templates:
PvP builds can be constructed regardless of what items you own. The templates can even save weapon type and give you a free level 1 item if you don’t have a weapon in your inventory already because PvP has normalized attributes.
PvE/WvW builds must include actual items. This mean sharing non-PvP builds becomes very complicated.
GW1 had 2 templates, PvE characters could only access 1.
GW1 PvE character:
- Had access to “build saving/loading” (secondary class + attributes + 8 skills)
- Did not have access to “gear saving/loading”
GW1 PvP character:
- Had access to “build saving/loading”
- Had access to “gear saving/loading” (Armour + Weapon + Upgrade components + Dye)
But there is one major difference in GW2 now:
- PvPers need to have a game wide character, and actual weapons/armour, it cannot be called out of thin air anymore.
Which means we don’t need gear saving AT ALL.
So leave weapons/armour and the skins out, as they are not necessary, or even possible to put into a template without breaking the game (Create item out of no where, bypass transmutation system etc).
And just do:
Template 1 (Only available inside of Heart of the Mists)
- Traits
- Amulet
- Sigil
- Rune
- Utility skills/elite skill
Template 2 (Only available outside of Heart of the Mists)
- Traits
- Utility skills/elite skill
And provide access to #1 or #2 depending on where the character is.
Weapons/armour/dye cannot be, and do not need to be, in templates. Finisher does not need to be included either, it isn’t important, and its also only one click away at zero effort, if someone does happen to change it once in forever.
Keep it basic, and to the essentials, there is no need to overthink it.

After 650 something days, my mesmer is only level 76, I simply don’t care about the class, probably has something to do with the AI spam and stealth spam coming across as noob tactics. (Yeah I WvW/PvP)
Still reading posts saying “have fun mashing 1”, “have fun bobbing”, “have fun zerging”.
Not even remotely accurate, that’s only 10% of what happens in T2. I guess uninformed speculation is a hell of a drug.
The “T8 lifestyle” you’re so desperately trying to defend, pretending that it only exists in T8, happens in T2 as well, and at a much higher quality and frequency, with actual risk that makes it even more fun.
But have fun with your entire 10-20 online players on each server across 4 entire maps, during a 6 hour window each day, and the NPC’s. Occasionally meeting an enemy, occasionally having a non NPC confrontation, PvDing during and outside the 6 hour window, taking what ever scraps come your way that day.
Whilst I’ll enjoy having consistent non stop 1v1’s, 1v2’s, 1v3’s, duels in OS, guild raids, GvG’s, guild scrimmages, small ops play, havoc play, ninja play, 5 man play, zerg play, blob play, whenever I want, wherever I want, however I want, with whoever I want, at any hour of the day that I choose. I can even do all of those things in one day, every day, any day. And the players in T2 are of a much higher skill level in general, since we get to practice against players not NPC’s at a much higher frequency than Tumbleweed8. It’s only logic that having a higher pool of players to verse, at a faster rate, leads to increased skill levels at the top end. Which makes for much more fun roaming and duels. Not to mention the GvG’s and guild scrimmages.
But if you want to practice PvD and PvE and not want to improve at combat, by all means, Tumbleweed8 is perfect.
But if you upgrade your PC, you’ll have a much better quality of play in T2, without zerging or blobbing even once.
I know this post is in vain, but meh. You can lead a PvEr to WvW, but you can’t make it PvP.
This thread is full of entitled individuals. Too bad they don’t invest their energy on more meaningful crusades.
So it can be just as bugged filled as this? If not worse? And then you’d be complaining about that.
What’s the difference?
This isn’t the first time, not even the second or third time, where ANet has release content where the MAIN PART OF IT is completely broken. Where simply testing the content ONCE would of revealed a problem, since its the MAIN PART OF IT, not some hidden thing.
-snip-
I know that not everyone will understand the humour in making light of a situation like this; but people had seriously ought to be grateful that missing WvW rewards is the pinnacle of their “to complain about” agenda.
Cool story, you live in a country that sells firearms at a corner shop to any man and their untrained dog. Does it honestly surprise you when those scenarios end up happening? Because it shouldn’t.
Maybe some people are having a rough patch at the moment, and the one thing they were looking forward to was the end of the season rewards. And ANet let them down by not testing the content long beforehand (they never test anything).
So maybe this isn’t the only thing they have to complain about, maybe its one of many things. It’s common knowledge games can be used to escape and get some personal space from other issues that are out of your control. Maybe their last bastion of positivity was GW2, who knows? And ANet let them down again. So they complained.
Just because someone complains about something like this doesn’t mean its their ONLY problem in life. Remember this well.
Edit: There’s two “Hyperions”, this just got confusing.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
What the OP means by ‘permission’ is that the ‘thief’ didn’t ASK THEM if he could take the stuff. He obviously had guild permissions via rank.
Just a bad choice of words.
Sorry, you’re SOL.
Tentatively hyped dampened by anets awful track record.
This too.
How many game breaking bugs do you think it will launch with?
Too little too late.
Tonnes of people stopped playing/took a break (before/during season 1), they came back and there was no new content since it was all stupid temporary garbage, and they uninstalled and never came back.
They lost trust/faith in the companies ability to evolve the game, even if they somehow hear about this, they aren’t going to come back at all.
Have you ever played Diablo 2 ? Made 100s of Mephisto or Pindle runs at one day ?
Okay you haven’t done it with 100s of other players, but that was totally common in a really really successful game.Apples and oranges.
D2 is a hack and slash. GW2 is a MMO.
Not really a big difference, in the end in both you mostly kill mobs for loot.
I’ll admit the D2 story and how it is told is better than GW2. Something new gen story writers don’t seem to understand is that both good and evil wouldn’t stand around chatting about the weather and discussing their plans, they’d get down to business. Obviously D3 failed at this as well. My god D3 was terrible in almost every single aspect.
But, D2 is constantly about rolling new characters and builds, and gearing them up. Example, on new servers, on the same server, and if your character is deleted on official realms. And there’s no economy.
In GW2 most people only roll one of each class since you can respec at any time. And the characters are designed to last for infinity years, so if all loot was too easy very soon it would all be vendor trash. There’s a giant economy which everyone is forced to use, and the game and its drops are based around the entire player base using the Trading Post, so drops are lower, and easy ways (skill-less ways) to make money are nerfed.
In an MMO harder content should be better rewarded, not the easier content.

Saving and loading build templates?
Yeah we had them in GW1 and it was awesome.
Sadly GW2 went backwards in terms of technology and MMO and PvP advancements.
So we don’t have them, even after asking since release.
Over/Under this being fixed by July 1st
My bet is on August 28, and not an actual fix.
Every 2nd birthday gift will contain 50 remade tickets for the WvW skins.
And then they will continue to ignore the broken WvW rewards as though it never happened, whilst people still ask, “I didn’t receive my chest yet…. when will you fix this?”
“Happy birthday!”
Can’t exactly trust devs words. Twice now we have received assurances from devs that recipes/item drop rates were not bugged and working as intended (Final Rest, Chaos of Lyssa).
And both times they were bugged.
Except they were not bugged. Depending on how you define a bug. They were working as coded and the code was working correctly. The calculations they used to specify the code were not optimal however.
I’d call Final Rest not being able to drop, at all, a bug.
“Not optimal”? Lol please what is this, a car engine?
Don’t bring the kitten risen in WvW not as mobs but as " transmuted players".
The End.
But then how do I stare at my characters bum?
No necrophilia please.
making the game harder and nerfing gold farming methods accomplishes two things
1. people who are dedicated players who like to farm for stuff will quite, making server load lighter
2. people who aren’t so dedicated but still want gold will end up spending even more money on buying gold because it’s now impossible to make gold by playing the gameit’s very easy to understand these kind of situations once you face the fact that it’s all about the money
inb4 “omg how dare anet try to make money blah blah blah”
yes, anet deserves money for content. however, taking present content and making it harder is not content, and therefore not deserving of money.
it’s sad to say that i’m thinking about leaving too, for wildstar
Moving from one NCSoft game to another NCSoft game?
Terrible idea. Give Wildstar a miss, play different games, even single player games, and wait for something good to come along.
For me, it’ll be Camelot Unchained. RvRvR focused game, made by passionate developers/gamers with no company like NCSoft lording stupid restrictions over their head about what they can and can’t do. And they won’t be promoting casual friendly mechanics and other nonsense. Nor will it use a cash shop (except for transfers).
@OP
I’m sorry, but consumables were NOT REQUIRED to play GW1 or its end game zones.
Simply no. Just no.
“conset” was introduced in EOTN. How do you think people did UW/FoW/Deep/Urgoz/DoA before EOTN? Right! NO CONSET!
People used consumables and consets BECAUSE THEY COULD, because the option was there, and because it made runs slightly faster.
You could do all end game zones WITHOUT CONSUMABLES.
One of the MAIN USES of consumables, was to maintain the gimmicky Shadow Form skill.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
Camelot unchained, what a glorious day that will be.
Btw, low tiers don’t even know what GvG is, let alone skill groups.
Good lord you are stuck up.
That’s ironic. And hypocritical.
Uh oh rimmy went on a wall of text rampage.
Sorry, which style of play can’t I do? I don’t usually see all four maps being one single colour, so there are enemy players to engage with.
You’ve deluded yourself into thinking we’re bereft of some critically fun aspect of WvW. We’re not.
@bolded
- Actually consistently versing enemy players while doing them, not mainly NPC’s.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
And the only people who like playing on the huge zergy servers are the people who can’t fight others 1v1, are really bad at the game, and in general have no life. See I can ALSO do big
You should stop posting on the forums, you just show how little you know. I have a system that can fun any zerg content at ultra graphics, but I still would quit the game the second I get forced to WvW in a T1 server, why? Because I don’t want to zerg, it’s boring, worthless, and I think the game would be 100% better without it, but I’m also not trying to force it on everyone else since I know not everyone has the same skill level I and my guildies have in small scale fights. We know you need all the help you can get from the 40 other people around you.
PS. You can roam, small ops, ninja, 5 man, havoc and camp flip in T1-3, it isn’t zerg only. The only reason you pretend its zerg only is because you don’t want to admit using a wooden PC.
I play in T2.
2 days ago, I spent my first hour playing solo, just because I could.
I was camp flipping and looking for small fights.
Spent the next hour with my guild, we organized open field fighting with the other servers guilds, just for fun and practice.
But I wasn’t feeling it that night, so I went back to roaming.
During this next hour:
I was trebbing NET (fully upgraded) from NEC, just because I could. While a 5 man group went after NWT (fully upgraded) at the same time. While a 10 man group went after Bay (paper).
During this time, I killed a counter cata they tried to set up inside NET. I killed both a guard and mesmer who came for me, not once, but twice. During the second fight, they got a counter treb up inside NET and killed my NEC treb.
The 5 man team at NWT finished up and came over to NET which both walls and the gate were on 20% from the treb. We finished it up, they had 4 defenders inside as well.
That sums up a standard night in T2.
And best of all, I was versing ENEMY PLAYERS, not NPC’s.
I was able to do anything I wanted to. From soloing, to havoc, to small ops, to guild vs guild scrimmages, to zerging. In one 3-4 hour session I did them all. VERSUS PLAYERS.
In high tiers you can experience and participate in various forms of play style, in one night if you want to, VERSUS PLAYERS. You cannot do that in tumbleweed tiers, not even close to that.
We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again, you don’t have to only zerg.
All of that stuff you mentioned in your PS? We do all of that too. Our computers run just fine.
Stay where you are if you’re happy with what you’ve got. Extend the same freedom to us.
The POINT of the PS was to say it isn’t only zerging. Which you’ve deluded yourself into thinking.
The difference is, I can jump in and out of any form of WvW play style whenever I want. You cannot, you have to make do with what appears that night.
And we always have enemy players to engage with. You don’t.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
Lets be perfectly honest, the people who prefer empty maps and playing PvE instead of WvW just have wooden computers and are mad they cant participate in any form of fight.
I have 2 computers, one maintains 50-60 FPS on maxed out settings in a massive 3-way SMC blob fight when they arise.
The second one is god awful. On absolutely bare minimum settings it maintains 40 FPS in a dead zone, a 15v15 fight brings it to 10-15 FPS, a zerg vs zerg brings it down to 6 FPS, and all the players are invisible except for names. It is hilariously bad.
In conclusion, update your computer even slightly so you can actually enjoy WvW instead of PvEing in empty maps.
PS. You can roam, small ops, ninja, 5 man, havoc and camp flip in T1-3, it isn’t zerg only. The only reason you pretend its zerg only is because you don’t want to admit using a wooden PC.
I want to encounter other players, not NPC’s.

Not sure if sarcasm. If you’re sceptical you can feel free to do 15 minutes of research on the costs of running servers.
If you’re in denial about the costs because you believe the myth “monthly fees are needed for MMO’s to pay server costs” then I only feel sorry for you, since you followed forum fiction rather than fact.
You know what the problem is?
Megaservers.
They introduced this PvE junk mid season and it broke the rewards for the people who finished the meta in the first week.
@ Sirflamesword and Deli
There’s only so long people will put up with being shafted repeatedly by the company, even the ones ‘enjoying’ tumbleweed central.
I don’t want to take their community and server pride away. ANet does. Season 2 reward failure is just a small step in their obvious plan to break down the morale.
And:
I’m not suggesting a merge with T1-3, there are plenty of servers below them.
And:
T2 NA is all about fights and GvG culture, not PPT blobbing and karma trains, so don’t group NA T2 in with T1 and T3 etc. T2 servers will blob if they are versing a blob server, but won’t actively blob themselves.
Example season 1, SOS v BG v 3rd server.
SoS runs 20 man group, continually wipes 30-40 man BG guild groups (lol 40 man guild group what a joke). BG brings in 2 more guild groups to help them, it now becomes 20 v 60-80. BG wipes the 20 man. SOS says, alright fine, and brings in 2 small guilds, it is now 40-50 v 60-80, and SOS continually wipes BG blob. Oh and don’t forget BG’s map queues on the other 3 maps, while SOS might not even have 1 queued even if they abandoned the other 3 maps entirely.
Where SOS would normally have 3 guilds doing their own guild raids, they had to team up to fight the endless BG blobs. T2 guilds will always beat T1 blobs/guilds as long as the numbers are relatively close. But by no means do they need even numbers or number advantages to win.
Aside from the general pug zerg, which isn’t very big, all of T2 run small groups compared to T1 and T3, they’re just superior fighters.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
^ I care, I only wish SOS tanked the 8th week so BG finished 4th. Then it would be #be4stg4te. Get it? Finished 4th.
@ OP, classic cry for attention. Obviously upset.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
At this point, they need to merge the bottom 6 into the higher servers.
Why?
- Look at Season 2 rewards, it promotes server stacking.
What effect will this have on WvW?
- A large portion of players are going to stack the top 3 servers from here on out, for Season 3 and beyond.
Why?
- So they can actually get a small reward for their time involved in an overly long and broken tournament.
What effect will this have on lower tiers?
- The bottom servers will be even less populated, and just be a blowout free win match.
Look at PvE, its loot rainbows and candy canes all day long, all day every day.
Yet after 9 WEEKS of WvW, only the 5 most populated servers in their league get a small reward, 6th and below gets literally nothing. They can’t even give 1 skin to the less populated servers after 9 weeks, its pathetic.
What’s the incentive? Skill and effort aren’t being rewarded. Super omniblob server stacking zerging mash is rewarded.
Its pathetic, but its true.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
Proved no such point, as I’m playing the game less than a casual, as I’ve proven on many threads. But you’re one of those people who mistakes posting and offering free advice to a failing company as ‘still playing’, so I can’t change your mind here.
The reason I said ‘formal education’ is because we don’t know about any self taught education, since the person of topic did not mention anything about it, I’d say it is non existent. Usually when a person rights a CV of themself, they include things like that to look their best. But you can argue against this all you like, to no effect.
Servers and networks cost next to nothing, so sorry but that’s a moot point.
YOU do not own a public server.
Nor is a public server designed for duelling.
It is designed for casual play of the boring conquest game mode.
Expecting people to NOT join a public server simply because you’re in it is selfish and a nice display of the ME ME ME generation.
Let me break it down for you guys, simply. Right now, I can log into GW2 but instead I’m going to read a book. Do you understand what I just wrote here? I. am. choosing. to. read. a. book. This is not good… This is not good at all…
o/
I’ve been playing old single player games the last few months, ones that were made by passionate DEVELOPERS not money driven corporate types.
It’s sad how rampant capitalism has taken over the video game industry, they could at least deliver a top notch product in their quest for cash.
The reason I bolded ‘developers’ is because it was recently brought to our attention that a certain WvW lead/“developer” of the last year only has formal education in the German language, nothing about coding or games or public relations or anything that might apply to this industry. And this alone explains the stagnant state of WvW.
(edited by thaooo.5320)
Less LS, less gemstore, more expansions, more bug fixes, more QoL changes, more guild functions, more commander functions, more guild halls.
You certainly have high hopes. I would personally abandon those hopes.
If RPing to that extent is something you enjoy, then just keep doing it. That icon that no one else could see, didn’t do anything, and removing it doesn’t stop you RPing.
Always carry Mist Form and Lightning Flash.
Save Mist Form for when you get caught out (ganked, or enemy zerg is on top of you), then reposition behind your allies/zerg (Safe again).
Save Lightning Flash for when you need to reposition as well, but Mist Form is your “oh #$%!” button.
In general, stay behind your allies, or circle around the fight, at max range.

All they’ve done is promote server stacking further.
Season 1 rewards were garbage, but at least it didn’t encourage people to stack in one server in each league (People did stack servers out of speculation, but ANet didn’t promote it or reward it).
This time around they completely dropped the ball.
I’m gonna call it right now, for future quoting:
"Season 3 will have 1-3 servers in each league stacked to the brim, and the other 3 (Gold) or 6 (Silver, Bronze) servers will be almost completely empty."
The only exception to this will be NA Gold, tier 2, because NA tier 2 is all about fight culture and GvG.
^ I agree with that last sentence 100%.
Another example are the time limited dyes from Gem Store. I bought ~500g worth thinking they’d go up but now they are only worth 300g. I have kept them for now but it’s a loss.
Its because people forget about them.
Limonite dye was stagnant since it was released, the price literally never changed.
1-2 months ago I forced it into the top demanded list (8000+ buy order stacks, so painful), and a quick look at spidy will show what happened. Same with violite dye.
Made a killing with both.
Forcing them into the top demanded list is guaranteed to spike the price for a short time frame, removing the orders is painfully slow. I still have 150g+ tied up in orders for limonite, since I cbf removing it.

Forgive me for not listing everything in its entirety in every post… I’ve done it so many times before, its difficult to repeat them so many times for so long.
Don’t mistake a red post for ‘information’ or ‘communication’.
A large percentage of red posts in these forums are in response to fluff threads, with a fluff response. Or a fluff response to a serious thread. Or just a post which contains nothing of value.
Only a few contain useful info.
I’m not saying they can’t have fun with silly responses. But I think 95% of posts being like that is a little high.
