Me too, been having loads of fun with it. Getting pretty good with my gliding too.
I wont revive a npc in the middle of a fight (unless TOTALLY necessary) ever since I had to deal with Mr. Logan Dingleberry dying all the time in Caduceus manor. Very first time I had tried a dungeon and I was disgusted with how useless he was.
I honestly didn’t think about putting the error message in the OP, sorry. Turned out it was my net. It would blink off just barely long enough to kick me, but be back on when I looked at my modem. I have a new one on the way, thank you for your help guys.
Hop to lions arch then through the assura gate to your desired map. Put speed skills on and take off like a bat out of hell to get the waypoints only. You can gather as you go so you can get some mats, making some change as you go. It don’t need changed for all the anti-change reasons listed above.
Anyone else having issues with the game doing the encountered an error message? I’ve been trying to get on for at least 30 min and keep getting it. From what I can tell my net is just fine.
If I have to I will, but was wanting to save a bit of money by using the gems I already have.
With the living world season 2 going on sale I want to get it for my kid. I already have some of the gems and want to use them to help get it. The living world season 2 does not show up in my gem store because I already have it. Is there any way for me to send the gems to her account or for me to purchase it with my account as a gift?
I like the growing hair idea a lot.
THE PACKMASTER
The Packmaster handles a multitude of beasts, controlling as many as companions with their scepter-whips. They travel the world to gather some of the largest and most dangerous beasts for their pack, gaining the Minion utility skills type.Class Mechanic
The Pack. Packmaster uses only 1 type of pet (keyed to the first terrestrial and aquatic pet slots) but may have up to three present at once. Each pet inflicts roughly 40% of the damage of the standard Ranger pet and has roughly 60% of a standard pet’s health. Only the pet closest to the Packmaster responds to f2 commands and shout skills.
Reinforce (f4). Summons 1 additional pet if less than 3 are present and counts as pet swap for traits.Scepter (whip)
- Whiplash (auto-attack). 320 range narrow cone whip attack (As seen with various Nightmare Court enemies). 3 damage ticks with Torment on the final tick.
- Strangle. Animated whip lashes out to wrap around target’s throat. 600 range. Channeled immobilize & weakness
- Crack the Whip. Up to 300 range 2 second fear, up to 600 range 1 second fear. Blast finisher.
Utility – Minions
Blood-Bat (Heal Skill). Large red bat transfers life to Packmaster and casts darkness fields on command.
Chromatic Ooze. Ranged poisoner. Taunts and becomes invulnerable on command.
Bull Minotaur. Melee brawler. Charges/knock down on command.
Griffon. Flying bleeder. Evades on command.
Rock Dog. Melee crippler. ‘Hunker-down’ block/regen on command.
Mature Karka (Elite Skill). Armored behemoth. Poisons/immobilizes on command.Traits (Minor)
Run with the Pack. Gain pack of pets, reinforce (f4), access to the scepter, and minion skills.
Revenge for the Fallen. You and of your all pets & minions gain Quickness when one of your pets or minions dies.
Feral Sacrifice. You and of your all pets & minions gain Protection when one of your pets or minions dies.Traits (Adept)
Master of the Lash. Strangle pulls and knocks down at end of channel. 20% cooldown on Scepter skills.
OBEY! All minions gain +20% HP. 20% cooldown on minion command skills.
To Me! Cast reinforce on taking fallen damage or resurrecting an ally (45s ICD). Falling damage is halved.Traits (Master)
Never Alone. All pets gain +10% for 6 seconds and any remaining cooldown on f2 is reduced by 2 seconds when Packmaster is CC’d.
Resurgent Arrival. Reinforce cleanses 2 conditions.
Endless Menagerie. All minions gain small self-heal over time. 20% cooldown on minion summon skills.Traits (Grandmaster)
The Horde. Your pack may have up to 4 active pets. Pet hit points reduced by -10%.
Tyrant’s Lash. For each active pet, 8% of all damage Packmaster takes is distributed to that pet.
Dogpile. If two or more pets are active, a second pet respond to F2 commands and shouts after a 3 second delay.
This would be fun!!! Please, please, please make this one!
Empty kegs, for guild hall upgrades
Piquant plant food, for Mawdrey, it is time gated to one a day though.
Armor design went to hell after Kristen Perry left ArenaNet.
Armor design went to hell when they switched over to GW2.
https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Armor_art
They shouldn’t change the way they’re making armour because male players prefer to make attractive female characters and cool-looking male characters. It fits both needs.
Could still work with skimpy male armor.
Conan wore a fur Speedo after all.
Oh you made me cackle, earning a “are you alright from a coworker?” lol
Attempting to get a regular raid team going, I’ve really only done one raid (the one I was talking about in the post). Good chance of doing a fair amount of pugging. I’m not fully for sure what role in intend to fill.
I already got some new armor, had some karma to burn. Also went looking on meta battle like you suggested, borrowed a few things. This is what I’ve come up with-
The amulet and one of the accessories are only a rare, didn’t have the gold to get those as exotic just yet.
Thank you. Looks like I get to start collecting up different armor. I had forgotten about the signet of stone, I feel like a boob now.
I attempted a vale guardian raid tonight for the first time. I got put in the spot because of my toughness. I did not do very good as a tank. Someone else came along to be the tank and I was unable to get my toughness down below theirs, it was around 1500 (can’t remember the number exactly), even with switching armors.
Here is the build I run with normally:
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?vNUQJAWVn0rC1rglrAOsActgl8AjZF07+dLBgSwpD+u2XHslI9wA-TBTFABuoqAEHCgTUDodNBKt/wBXAAnUeBwTAQddA7rSDUKR+TJYAgDAuOAA-e
I’m just wondering what I’m doing wrong, what to work on, etc.
Thank you everyone for the feedback. We are working on getting things rebuilt now.
The permissions thing has been fixed, lessons learned. I just wasn’t sure about the reportable part. In the logs it is listed as unknown user. Does this mean the character or account has been deleted? Does it mean we were blocked?
We had a guy clean out our guild bank. Is this a reportable act? Is there really any point in reporting?
I want to be able to pistol whip em.
When I’m fighting pocket raptors.
I have always called the pocket raptors compies, with the phrase kittening compies coming out of my mouth often.
Something does need to be done, I see all this nifty experience I’m getting from these events and it’s going to waste because I’m stalled on my mastery tracks in tyria. A chest with some nifty loot, maybe even a mastery point of your choice everyou five-ten levels. Or even let us put the experience on mastery tracks that haven’t been unlocked yet.
I actually have an AFK farmer to thank for showing me this spot. He was hiding in the bushes with his minors around him. I saw the minions first, then found him. So I decided to stay for a few and kill the spawing mobs to see what they were dropping. Liked the loot I got and I was lucky cuz it was just one and I was killing them before his minions got to them. Now I don’t know how more than one AFK farmer would have affected it, but I did just fine with the one there. I don’t like the idea of AFK farming, if you cant use a third party to do it then in game mechanics shouldnt be allowed to be used to do the same thing. But honestly i can see why people do it, kitten gets expensive. Now to say statement that has been said numerous times, a definitive answer/solution does need to be given on the current state of AFK farming.
I hate the way the bandit chest moves around. The main thing I wished would happen with the home instance is some of the nodes give out just a couple more items than they do now. Mainly talking about the plant, cloth and leather nodes. I spent my Christmas on the plant and cloth ones, was a tad let down on the amount. I don’t regret getting them though. The leather one I did the gold to gems thing to get it. I didn’t have high hopes after seeing the outcome of the cloth ones. Still happy with it.
Noxious Pods
Flax node
“Gemstone tumbler”- get one orb and some lesser gemstones
Silkworm nest- get silk and mainly thought of this one because it would look really cool in my sylvari home.
Mussel node
Jungle plant node
Storage chests- items placed inside the chests could only be removed from inside the home.
Would be very nice to be able to do…
Thank you, I finally have a use for the bandit crests I’ve saved up.
I want something to eat my excess Airship Oil, Auric Dust, & Leyline Sparks… I guess I’ll just make stacks of Fulgrite I don’t need to condense some of that junk.
Yes please, I see the excess becoming an issue for some in the future.
I don’t understand the reasoning behind flanking. If my arrow can do bleeding, etc. damage on 3/4 of target then why can’t it do the same bleeding etc. damage on the remaining 1/4 ? I’m kiting around target anyways but it annoys me that there’s a window that takes away my additional damage. Down with the demon known as flanking!
Again flanking is smart play, why do people want a braindead 1111111 weapon like engie pistol?
Might as well have some rewards when executing skillful play. I think flanking is there to compensate the high rate of fire of the SB.
Remove the flanking and you’ll get:
Rabid gear + Sigil Of Earth + Crossfire with No Flanking + Sharpened Edges = X stacks of bleed.
Is this really fun for you? I mean it’s a little bit like that now even with flanking.
I dont want a braindead weapon, I guess I didn’t word it the way I ment it to sound. (Was sleep deprived at the time) I’m still going to be kiting around them, I wanna make it harder from them to hit me and it’s fun. I do have to say that it did push me more into a kite circles around them play style. But I’m still annoyed by the flanking. I could see you having less of a chance to hit when you aren’t flanking, I could understand fewer bleeds when you aren’t flanking. I just don’t understand the reasoning for none. Hopefully I make more sense this time :/
Yes and it has the big sharp teeth. To defeat it one must quest for the Holy Hando Grenade of Antioch. It involves a trip to the top of Mount Malestrom to find the wizard. Once you have it you have to unlock the instructions by purchasing them with 1 carrot lodestone. You make that in the mystic forge with 3 stacks of carrots and one stack of Algamated gemstones.
What about a guild recruitment section for a gold fee in the lfg instead? People could look when they want too and the gold fee would possibly reduce an excess of posts.
My guild has a 20% gathering boost and a 10% magic find boost. Does the magic find effect the rate of rarer items from gathering nodes? Which one would be better for the strict purpose of farming?
I know you have to salvage a piece of ascended gear. What piece of ascended gear would be the cheapest to craft to salvage?
Good ideas, thank you. I’ve been making one Elonian, Damask, charged crystal and both types of plant food everyday this week. Working on Mawdrey and getting me an ascended coat. I did some math and if I’m right I would come out 2-4 gold more than if I just sold the raw materials. Haven’t done the math for stuff made with charged crystals yet. Is there any other use for the plant foods besides Mawdrey? How well do the foods sell, would it be worth it for me to keep making the plant food after I’m done with my back piece? Going to start on the spiritwood after I’m done with at least my coat and pants.
Thank you. I didn’t really think about the thread and cord being one a day, was just lumping it all together.
Is it one per day per character or one per day per account?

Mainly PvE, about any part, especially where I have massive amounts of mobs coming at me testing my dodge, duck, dive, dip, dodge skills. These get tested in PVP too but I got kinda bored with it.
Good one
Thank you ????If you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a charging shroom…ok that needs some work lol
Cool idea, but unless it is implemented for core and expansion then there will be more fuel to the HoT vs. Core fire.
I’ve been having the same issues on my druid when using my staff. Going to be checking to see if I got the box clicked in the morning.
I have HoT, I play a druid and I still get my rear handed to me in PvP the same as before. There are always going to be people who figure out and execute all the new tricks till someone figures out how to counter them. Then those counters will become the new tricks. I just yell WAHOO and laugh when I get the most damage received. So you can be mad about it all, buy the expansion or figure out a way around it. Which there have been plenty of core players that have since I still get the most damage received on a fairly regular basis lol
How? Tonic then go gliding?
Or people were probably paying whatever price for the wood to make the new shortbow (that was when I noticed the price jump), in the race to be the first one with it. Now that either they have it or they have gone broke, the price drops. Now granted someone could have (and probably did) manipulated the market in anticipation of the bow race. The video really isn’t much to blame, it was apparent more people were figuring out a while back just by seeing how many people were running those areas and the way the price especially were going on the Tp, before the video was put out.
I really really hope that they do this.
I had no idea there was a “kitten” filter. I just thought it was one of those odd site specific word things, imgur and their cat-snakes and fart-squirrels. Now I’m half tempted to test the kitten filter to its fullest mainly because I’m feeling childish and want a giggle right now. I’ll go back to my corner now. :/
What about a way to get your pet to “grow up”? They really shouldn’t stay a juvenile forever. Could do it by how much actually game play that pet gets or by some type of training manual. It’s just always bugged me that I have pets that I’ve had for a year+ and they are still a juvinille.
When you called smokescale jerks I said “But I love my little jerk”, the smokescale is the main pet I use. Now I can’t stop giggling at myself. I don’t intend to make light of your plight, I’ve been having the same issue you are having but with the oakheart instead. I’ve resorted to calling them names much worse than jerks. I hope your luck changes on getting it.

If they added a “danger room” like PvE or Solo Pve missions with awesome rewards i’d be all over the guild hall, but as it is i’m never needing to go there.
They could add a gardening plot/field like in Dry top where you look after plants trees ore nodes and the guildies can come and pick them, can be a team effort and have a 9 pick limit per item per person a day etc..
This too, possibly even adding in if they were fed certain types of plant food they would produce more. But wouldn’t want it getting too in depth, this isn’t Farmville afterall.
Stuff that could be added to guild halls without actually breaking the game:
Actual jumping puzzle (with chest) in a decoration-illegal area. Chest awards guild currencies like common scribing mats and crystals used in t2 armor/weapon deisgns.
PvE configurations for the arena. Think of the queen’s gauntlet. Now imagine being able to phase the arena in to various boss fights where it simply hides your decorations and rigs the arena for the fight. Said fights could also be a new type of weekly guild mission (Gladiator Challenge)
Fractal Configuration Device – Addon to the portal, allows your hall to function as a fractal lobby.
Time Limited TP, crafting stations, and vendors – Unlike the permanent, free versions found in cities, these are powered by the same crystals used in the weapon/armor recipies. You walk up to the node, get a dialogue box asking how long you want to set it up at a rate of 1 crystal per minute. Accept the dialogue and an NPC arrives at your waypoint and walks over to the market to set up shop (similar to how the proprieters show up when you first build structures) When his time is up he kicks off a 2 minute event asking for crystals. If people give him more crystals he hangs around. To balance it against cities, have the hall only able to support 2 such NPCs at a time. Lets say people with proper guild permissions could dismiss them early.
The zone currency vendors from HoT, the central tyria karma vendors, black lion trader, dungeon token vendor, fractal vendors, commendation merchant from the initiative HQ, and laurel vendor as well as an NPC for each crafting discipline to set up a usable station provide enough variety that you couldn’t completely replace cities with this function, but the constant coming and going of the NPCs and the added conveneince would add some life to the place. After all, they want the rare crystals they can only get from your hall, so it makes sense they’d be willing to the the legwork for a price, and those crystals are already gated time-wise pretty efficiently and only have very limited uses.
Minigames in the bar Existing minigames. A permanent golem chess and belcher’s bluff table would be a start. Gives people something to do just hanging out.
Costume brawl leaderboard in the arena Just for fun, let the arena track guild member’s costume brawl wins/losses.
NPC housing nodes Invite various NPCs to live in your hall. On the down side each one slows down your aetherium mining rate. On the up side they have a chance to roll as vendors each day, using a similar one purchase per day system as the guild trader and selling various low tier black lion items for 5-10 commendations like boosters, ticket scraps, transmutation charges, unidentified dyes, etc. The type of NPC housed and number present affect their chances. Want combat boosters? invite some vigil to live in your hall. MF boosters? Get some Skritt! Scraps? Set up a black lion franchise! Dyes? Go consortium! These NPCs could also permanent sell various consumables already found on heart arma vendors throught the world (golem in a box, ogre pet whistles, etc.) in addition to their rare daily chance at becoming commendation>black lion traders.
For added fun, let these NPCs show up to help you with guild missions (where they, being crap at combat because they’re NPCS, will be mostly useless but great cheerleaders)
Guild Daily Jobs A jobs board that randomly rolls a daily achievement when interacted with. Completing this achievement awards a random crafting material to the treasury, with more expensive/rare material being (obviously) more rare. The roll is randomly determined per person, so its a good system for guild that share a hall but may have play schedules that prevent everyone from playing together, and is a great way to let even new players contribute to the hall without unbalancing the economy.
Expanded Portal allow guild members to invest commendations to unlock waypoints on a weekly basis. This adds an interact effect to all waypoints, allowing you to channel your commendations in to them. At 50 commendations invested by members of your guild, that waypoint is added to the portal list for one week. A great way to help newbies or direct guild efforts for player run events.
This would be great!
I’m so sorry for your loss and I truly hope they give you the decoration you desire.
