I made a new ES. Took a while for me to find time to type it up. I heard a lot of revs asking for a ranged condi weapon, and this just makes sense, in terms of who it channel.

The Ender channels Vizier Khilbron, the destroyer of Orr. You gain the ability to wield scepters, because he used a scepter. It is condition oriented. The Ender uses “Apocalypses” as new heal/utility/elite skills.The new profession mechanic is a bar called Ambition, which is used for a profession skill called “The Sinking of Orr.” The Ambition bar fills from applying conditions. It fills fully from applying 25 conditions. There is a 1 sec ICD to gaining Ambition. You can only use The Sinking of Orr when the bar is full.

The Sinking of Orr: Drain all of your initiative. Deal the following effects, based on enemies distance from you.
Taunt: 900-1200
Stun:300-900
Fear: 0-300
Chill everyone affected for 5 secs. After 5 secs, deal 3 burning for 5 secs, 3 confusion for 5 secs, torment for 5 secs, and 5 bleeding for 2 secs to anyone in 900 range.

Scepter Skills
1) Pride: Fire a magic bolt that cripples for 3 secs.
Power: Fire a magic bolt that bleeds for 3 secs.
Ambition: Fire a magic bolt that gives you 2 ambition if it hits.
2) Churning Force: Channel an attack that bleeds and torments your foe for 2 secs every second, and lasts 3 secs.
Exploding Temper: cancel it, causing a blast that cripples for 2 secs.
3) Chilling Beam: Fire a beam that chills for 1 sec every second for 4 secs. After 4 secs, immobilize them for 3 secs.

Heal Apocalypse
Acid Rain: Heal and summon acid rain at target location that grants regen for 3 secs to allies and poison for 3 secs to foes.

Utility Apocalypses
Temporal Malfunction: Target area’s time is ruined, slowing foes for 1 sec every sec. When it expires, confuse foes for 5 secs. 10 sec duration.

Radiation Field: Target area becomes a wasteland, which cripples and poisons foes for 3 secs every sec. 10 sec duration.

Eternal Dark: Target area becomes engulfed in darkness, blinding foes for 2 secs every sec. Deals weakness for 5 secs to foes in it when it expires. 10 sec duration.

Elite Apocalypse
End of Days: Target are (larger radius than the other apocalypses) becomes the end of the world for 20 secs, pulsing burning, 2 bleeding, confusion, torment, and cripples for 2 secs every sec.

It would be cool if they made a supportish specilization that focused on debilitating conditions. Basically a thief that can do a ton of aoe weakness, poison vulnerability and blind being its main source of staying alive.

You know the auto attack? It bounces. When in a 1v1 staff mes fight, all you see is trippy purple balls everywhere. I wondered what a 3v3 would look like.

Fair point with the hard to balance. That’s why I tried to give high damage skills large cast times and high initiative costs.

Sniper thief would be broken a f and very bad for the game. Gunflame and Trueshot were recently nerfed for a reason.

Besides, you can already gib people from range. The only thing you’re missing is another 300 range.

The Sniper is a ES for thief designed to give the thief long range capabilities. The Sniper uses Base Lenses as their profession mechanic. Lenses modify your attacks. Your new utility type is Advanced Lenses. They act the same as Base Lenses, but drain initiative when you attack with them activated. You can have as many Advanced Lenses active as you want, but you can only have 1 active Base Lens. Lenses are not on a scope, but on goggles. Your Base Lenses replace steal as F1-F3.

Lenses
Vital Seeker Lens: Your attacks have a 50% chance to inflict bleed for 2 secs.

Brutal Lens: Your critical hits deal 15% more damage.

Quick Lens: You attack 10% faster.

Rifle Skills (All skills have 1200 range unless stated otherwise)
1) Sniper Shot: Very slow auto attack. About 1 shot every 1.5 secs. Deals high damage per attack to make up for it.
—) Sneak Attack: Kill Round: Massive damage charged attack.

2) Powder Bullet: Fire a bullet at your foe. Upon hitting them, it explodes and blinds them and foes nearby to them for 5 secs. 3 initiative.

3) Takedown Round: Fire a large bullet that knocks down the foe it hits for 2 secs. 4 initiative.

4) Cover Fire: Enter a laying down stance. Fire a bullet that dazes for 1/4 second every second at your target, but you can switch targets. 1,500 range. Costs no initiative upon entering the stance, but costs 1 initiative per bullet.
—) Retreating Shade: Cancel your stance. Teleport back 600. Costs 2 initiative.

5) Assassination: Aim at your enemies vital organs for 2 secs. After that, unleash a powerful bullet that deals MASSIVE damage and finishes off downed enemies. 6 initiative.

Heal Advanced Lens
Neutralizer Lens: Heal and equip a lens that cures a condition every time you attack. each attack drains one initiative. If you have 0 initiative, it will not cure a condition.

Utility Advanced Lenses
Scalder Lens: Every time you attack, that drains 1 initiative every time you attack and deals burning for 5 secs with every attack. If you have 0 initiative, it will not deal burning.

Laser Lens: Your attacks are guaranteed critical hits. Every time you attack, drain 2 initiative. If you have 0 initiative, it will not guarantee crits.

Thermal Lens: Whenever you attack, reveal foes in a radius around you and your target for 1 sec. Drains 1 initiative with every attack. If you have 0 initiative, they will not deal reveal.

Force Lens: Your attacks deal 40% more damage. Each attack drains one initiative. If you have 0 initiative, they deal more damage.

Elite Advanced Lens
Focus Lens: Amplifies the abilities of other lenses, at the cost of 1 initiative per attack.
—Vital Seeker Lens: Bleed is guaranteed and cripple for 3 secs is 30%.
—Brutal Lens: Critical hits deal 25% more damage.
—Quick Lens: You attack 30% faster.
—Neutralizer Lens: Cures 2 conditions per attack.
—Scalder Lens: Your attacks have a 50% chance to blind for 5 secs.
—Laser Lens: Deal 10% more damage.
—Thermal Lens: Revealed lasts 5 secs.
—Force Lens: Deal 50% more damage.

New ES idea. Took a while, and is REALLY long. You can grasp the basics from reading up to when it explains weapon skills.

Surger Elementalist Elite Specialization

Principle: The Surger is a ele ES based around getting the feeling of “You are in the danger zone.” Your new weapon is a shortbow, used to fragment magic in the air to create miniature ley lines. Your new utility skills are traps, giving more of a feeling of a danger zone. A lot of your attacks focus around ley lines.

Ley Line Mechanics: Attacks will leave ley lines or “ley nodes.” On a ley line, every 300 (range) is a ley node, or a thickened section. Ley nodes are what your attacks focus around.

Profession Mechanic: Ley Surge: 10 second cd. Press your attunement button (of your current attunement). Your current attunement becomes tagged. The next time you swap attunements, you activate a Ley Surge, based on a combination which element was tagged and which element you swapped to. Each foe or ally can only be affected by a max of 5 ley nodes. (To prevent OP surges.)

Fire and Water: Ley nodes blind foes within 300 range of them for 2 secs.

Fire and Earth: Ley nodes burn foes within 300 range for 3 seconds.

Fire and Air: Ley nodes grant might for 8 secs and fury for 3 secs to all allies within 300 range.

Water and Earth: Ley nodes immobilize foes for 1 sec and cripple foes for 2 secs within 300 range.

Water and Air: Ley nodes chill foes for 1 sec and grant allies 2 secs of swiftness within 300 range.

Earth and Ar: Ley nodes deal 2 bleed for 3 secs to foes within 300 range.

Shortbow Weapon Skills

Fire Attunement

1.Streaking Fire: Fire an arrow with a fire trail. Deals 1 burning for 1 sec. Deals medium-low damage and has 900 range.

2.Infernic Volley: Rapid fire bolts of fire. Each one does more damage the closer the foe. (Meant to pressure foes getting to close.) 900 range.

3.Inner Power: Summon a ley node to follow you closely. Gain 3 might for 5 secs.

4.Burning Accuracy: Enter a defensive stance for 5 secs. Fire arrows at all incoming projectiles, destroying all projectiles targeted at you. Gain might for 3 secs for each blocked projectile.

a.Burning Evasion: Cancel your stance to evade backwards and gain fury for 5 secs if you evade an attack with this.

5.Ley Flame:Set target area on fire, fueled with ley energy. Summon a ley node there. It connects to up to 4 nodes within 1200. Those nodes deal burning for 3 seconds every 3 secs to every foe in 300 range of them. 3 sec duration.

Water Attunement

1.Piercing Shard: Fire an icy bolt that pierces through foes. Deals moderate damage. 900 range.

2.Frost Arrow: Pin your foe down with a frozen arrow. Chills and cripples for 3 secs. 900 range.

3.Ley Rich Waters: Gant 1 sec of regen to you and all allies within 600 for every ley line within 600. Heal a small amount for each ley node in 600.

4.Frozen Ley Line: Fire an arrow that tears through space, leaving a ley line. When it hits your foe, it chills for 1 sec and deals 3 vulnerability for 5 secs. 900 range.

5.Torrent: Unleash arrow after arrow for 5 secs. You can switch targets mid attack.

a.Breaker Wave: Launch several arrows in a cone in front of you that knockback foes but only go 300.

Earth Attunement

1.Obsidian Arrow: Fire an obsidian arrow that splits into 3 pieces at 600 range. 900 range,

2.Diamond Focus: Your next 5 attacks give you might for 5 secs and inflict bleeding for 3 secs.

3.Ley Stones: Summon a ley line in a circle around you with a 200 radius (3 nodes) The nodes have small stones beneath them. You gain protection for 5 secs.

4.Shrapnel Storm: Summon a shrapnel storm around you, dealing 2 bleeding for 2 secs two nearby foes every second. Destroys incoming projectiles. Extends 100 from you. 3 sec duration.

5.Rising Mountain: Summon a mountain with a ley node inside. Floats any enemies at its location for 1 second. 600 range.

Air Attunement

1.Thunder Bolt: Fire an electrified arrow. Upon hitting a foe, it splits and hits two nearby foes. Deals medium-low damage to all enemies involved. 900 range.

2.Storm Cloud: Fire an arrow with an electric charge at target area. It will create a storm cloud above it. The storm cloud lasts 5 secs and will shoot lightning at foes beneath it. 900 range.

3.Air Current: Fire an arrow at target area that rips through the air, forcing it away. When it reaches the target area, it creates a ley node and the air rushes back, granting swiftness for 10 secs to all allies in its path.

4.Lightning Shot: Fire a powerful arrow that applies 5 vulnerability for 5 seconds.

5.Triple Lightning: Fire an arrow, creating a ley line from you to your foe. Evade to the right. Fire another arrow, creating another ley line. Evade to the right again. Fire another arrow, creating a last ley line.

Healing Trap

Sea of Energy: Heal and drop a trap. When triggered, it slows foes for 3 secs and grants regeneration to allies for 5 secs.

Utility Traps

Glacial Front: Drop a trap at your location. When a foe triggers it, it forms a glacier around them that freezes (stuns) them for 1 second and chills them for 3 sec. When activated, it connects to up to 3 ley nodes within 1200 range. Every 3 secs they apply chill for 3 secs to all foes within 300 range of them. 6 second duration.

Volcanic Uprising: Drop a trap at your location. When a foe triggers it, volcanos blast up around them, dealing 2 burning for 3 secs. When activated, it creates a ley node that connects to up to 3 ley nodes within 1200. They deal blind for 3 secs every 3 secs to all foes within 300. 6 sec duration.

Sinking Earth: Drop a trap at your location. When triggered, it immobilizes for 3 secs and cripples for 5 secs. When activated, the earth around it turns to mud and it creates a ley node that connects to up to 3 ley nodes within 1200. They deal 2 bleeding for 5 secs every 3 secs. 6 sec duration.

Excess Charge: Charge an area at your location. When a foe triggers it, deal 5 vulnerability for 3 secs. When activated, it creates a ley node that connects to up to 3 nearby ley nodes within 1200. They create a massive wave of static force, dealing high damage and knocking back foes within 300 of one of the ley nodes.

Elite Trap

Ley Network: Drop a trap at your location. When a foe triggers it, summon a network of ley lines, with a ring of 4 ley nodes and a ley node at the center. It immobilizes the foe that triggered it for 3 secs.

Traits

Minor Adept: Leyline knowledge: Gain the ability to use traps and a shortbow.

Major Adept Traits

Ley-Infused Arrows: Shortbows deal more damage and you attack faster while wielding them.

Large Leyline Fragments: Traps recharge faster and have a larger radius.

Pulsing Power: When you Ley Surge, gain 3 might for 5 secs.

Minor Master: Leyline Travel: Ley nodes increase movement speed while you are within 300 of them.

Major Master Traits

Numbing Channeler: Chill you apply lasts longer. Apply weakness for 3 secs when you chill.

Vital Leylines: Leylines increase healing power for you and allies within 300. Doesn’t stack.

Pulsing Anger: When you Ley Surge, gain fury for 5 secs.

Minor Grandmaster: Accessible Leylines: The bonus from Leyline Travel now applies to allies.

Major Grandmaster Traits

Overforced Elements: Tagging a tagged element now activates a powerful ability based on your attunement and put all of your Ley Surges on a universal 20 sec cooldown. They do not destroy your ley lines.

Fire: Demolishing Flames: Rips boons from foes near your ley nodes. Deals more damage per boon.

Water: Gathering Frost: Chills foes near your ley nodes for 3 secs. After 3 secs, stun all foes near your ley lines for 2 secs.

Air: Vortex: All ley nodes pull foes within 300 range.

Earth: earthen Fortress: All allies within 300 range of your ley nodes get 3 conditions cured and gain protection for 2 secs for each condition cured.

Controlled Leylines: Traps are now ground targeted.

Frozen Reduction: Chilling a foe has a chance to apply slow for 3 secs.

My suggestion is simple. Make a profession’s visual effects for certain things dyable. For example, a mesmer’s butterflies can be dyed. You could select black for example, and the pink chronomancer’s shield skill would appear to become a blackish shade. The butterflies on shatter would also become black. Allow this for all classes, for example the black shadowstep effect could be dyed for a thief. The color of the discodisk can be dyed for Revs, and their glowy hand thing. This would promote buying dyes, and would allow role players to better customize their character. For example, what if a role player wants a thief to be camo, and use the forest (and doesn’t want a ranger). They could just dye it green.

I’ve had times when my char fell face down in regular PvE, and then couldn’t get up. My char then spent the next few minutes traveling across the map face down, like a doll being dragged across the floor.

By the way, you can still harvest nodes like that.

I have seen a lot of people complaining about getting too many minis(I wouldn’t known, raided first time last week and failed.) So, I had this idea.
Mystic Forge:
You can combine a mini red guardian, a mini blue guardian, a mini green guardian and 250 bolts of gossamer, and you get 1 Wings of Color. They flash one of the random colors of the guardians, and you have fog (like the fog surrounding the pylons) surrounding you.

You can combine a mini vale guardian, a mini gorseval, a mini sabetha, and 250 cured leather squares, and you get 1 Wings Of the Vale. They cause mini “souls” to float around you and the wings change color. I can’t figure how to involve sabetha into the graphics.

You can make these bigger by combining them into the mystic forge with the three minis needed to make it, up to 3 times.
These would solve the problem of too many minis.
