PS my charr actually does wear balthazar armor, but that is only because of my guild. It might have been me!

This argument has already been debunked. People without sufficent time to play and not enough gold to pay will still have this problem the rest of the year, especially since the only access to presents will be TP or Gift Tree at a rate of one per day. Which isn’t enough and cost will only increase, which makes the continuation of the achieve largely irrelevent.

There’s literally no good reason to exclude people from having access to festive skins. WP is literally the only new christmas skin available to people outside of the cash shop, why shouldn’t everyone have a fair chance at getting it? If it was about effort, skill and prestige, then why is the achievement purchasable? Every other skin in the game that’s for prestige and skill, is locked behind account bound items.

Kudos though, you made an 8 point rant and not a single, solitary one of your points was a valid argument for why the skin shouldn’t be accessible to everyone. Infact, not one of them was even relevent to the arguments in these threads. It’s like you just ranted without understanding or even trying to understand the problems people have with it.

I say it’s a good idea, but kind of goes all over the place. Is it condi, evade, trolls, roaming, or stealth. I say the disguise kit is perfect though. It’s a perfect example of a real spy, unlike the other kits that make you like James Bond.

I plan to LV 80 my ranger next and I was trying this build. It seems good, but I would really like some feed back. The idea is to dodge and swap weapons constantly throughout the fight to increase DPS. Rapid Fire’s DPS with crits taken into consideration seems really good. If you get in trouble, utility skills should help you. The only purpose of the pets is to tank so they can survive “Protect Me” and all the conditions transferred to them.

With stalling you don’t buff allies and you don’t expect to win. You just want to troll, and buy time. It’s useful when you have two points and you need to keep midpoint at 400 points.

Drop Trickster for Bountiful Theft. You have ONE trick. Quite pointless really. Otherwise, the build is quite good. Though, if you have all that stealth, just get hide in shadows.

I’ve been using this build for PvP. I basically just get players to engage with me, then stall and stall. Get two to fight you, make sure your allies else where do better. Just spam the Echo of Memory, then Deja Vu. If both succeed, you get three phantasms out fast. Tides of Time to stun (more stall.) If you get to low health, Well of Precognition for a bit of time to use your heal skills and regroup. Mantra of Distraction (more stun, more stall.) Gravity Well is not for the damage, but as a distraction. If it hits, they can’t hit you for a bit as they are floated. Decoy is for another breather.

What is the purpose of DH/Guard right now? Rev power dps is ridiculous. Berserker Condi dps blows us out of the water (I think power as well tbh). Reflects dont seem AS important, atleast, so far. Even with that, Revs projectile destruction is amazing.

I dont even know where we stand in the dps charts, I think we are about the same as reaper.

I hear we make good tanks, but I cant imagine us being any better than Tempest/Druid/Reaper, or maybe we are?

I have no idea if this build is viable. It has worked so far…but I would love it if it was improved. When using it, I do what every thief must learn how to do from all the nerfs: RUN! I basically ‘run’ but then drop ambush, then trip wire. When and if they fall for it, I turn around and drop Thieves’ guild and drop my signet. End result: A lot of damage against noobs, but only if they fall for it. Does anyone have improvements?

Does anyone use P/P? I like how it works, but don’t have a good build.

I find that if you drop a dragon’s maw then a procession of blades, they become stuck and take so much damage. Also, test of faith (or whatever one deals damage when you leave the trap) and procession of blades works well, because you end up hitting them with procession, knocking them out of circle, which then makes them take MORE damage from test of faith. By the way, I main thief so I do no.t know the names of the attacks I just know their effects.
