the reason i ask what do you think will be in last LS update is because Anet wants the LS seasons to be like a good show on tv and any really good show will try to make you excited for the next season with there last episode so what do you guys think will happen at the end that will make us want to see what happens next

this LA update has a lot of people excited thinking its going to be epic people are even making videos about how epic they think it will be (and its even bringing back old players for it and that is great) but i fear people expectations are a little to high because if its not has epic has they think it will be it will lead to major disappointment i can see the Anet hate threads now… i think the LA update it will be good and hope it will be epic because if i think it will be epic 90% of the time i am really let down weather its games movies or anything else in life..now that that is said lets kick that green beans kittens tomorrow bring it on scarlet

i have wanted a great axe for a long time i am sure we will get one at some point

Like Dawdler said, technically yes. But ANet has a habit of implement repeating events so it will probably be on a timer (for good reason since an event like that would probably take a lot of time and effort to implement and who likes one time events). Not to mention the overflow and afk deaths which will probably see these forums aflame with complain last seen with the LA karka event.

im talkin about there not being a timer and i dont think people would be mad if crazy stuff like that happened allot ppl would wonder what going to happen next keep the game fresh

what i mean by live event your at the bank in LA all the sudden you hear npcs screaming you go out to see whats going on you see them running for there lives you look up and you see air ships headed your way you see army s coming to shore you hurry and tell your guild members to come to LA fast the kittens just got real and you see all the afkers getting killed becouse they have no idea whats going on… events like that would put this game on a hole new level being surprised like that because A net didn’t tell us that something was about to happen now that would be a true LS my question is is this kind of thing even possible

Really you should do a bit of online research before throwing out the blame hammer. This is a DDOS attack that is affecting many games. Not something A-Net has any control over.

Anet i love your game but all of these D/C every other day why are you not letting us know whats going on it cant just be a glitch its happening to often please tell us whats going on and what your doing about it because it just seems like your putting a band aid on a bad cut that needs stitches

easy entangle is your best friend when hes low pop it then use axe3 then sword 2 and another tip use fear from wolf hope that helps worked for me a few times

pets are far from useless my lynx the other day didn’t just down a Mesmer but killed the Mesmer before i had a chance to use a finisher because i was busy killing a thief and at lest a few times a day in pvp people will run away because my pet is killing them and my pet doesn’t die fast at all most rangers just don’t spec for pets i have Faux Sheaux’s Roaming Regen Ranger (RRR) Build 0/0/30/10/30 some rangers just don’t use the right pets at right time or just blow off BM all together watch this should cheer you up http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qs7jbFqRCTA

It used to be an extremely powerful spec because you and your pet were very tanky yet you could still put out good condition dmg while the pet puts out good direct dmg.

i didn’t have a ranger before nerf so i don’t notice anything that was nerf my pets to me at lest does amazing damage and im not even a damage build i have a con/Regen build 0/0/30/10/30 maybe its because most rangers don’t put 30 in BM.. you was right about pets i have wolf for fear great for breaking up mobs and buying time for me to heal or get that one last hit in to win in pvp and lynx for bleeds and damdge

i was doing some pvp today. i went to take the tower. i see a Mesmer and a thief i kill the thief first i turn around and the Mesmer is gone and my lynx isn’t by me .i thought it was a bug then i see 2k 3k going off down the steps. i go to help and what do i see its my lynx he killed the Mesmer by him self.. lol i was so proud of my cat i just had to come on and tell you guys about it anyone else have something like this happen? if so please tell what happened i wold love the story’s of are little friends doing good

warrior/engi/dps guardian can replace you and it would be better for the group, even spirit ranger would be better.

We have 1 good build for pvp (Spirit Ranger) which, FYI is only viable because of Spirit of Nature.
We have 2 good builds for WvW and both of them are roaming builds.

Ranger is not the same as archer. It make more sense to use a melee when stacking as it has more dps. With certain boss fighting it at range will trigger certain mechanisms.
For example Lt. Kholer in Ac will do his spin pull attack. The Queen Spider will use it’s aoe range attack.

While you stack you still can dodge in the stack as you are normally against a wall dodge into the wall. Dodging give you like a half second of immunity and also trigger on dodge effects like protection.

I really hate stack but it is what is expected when you do dungeon runs. So hold your ground and rally the downed. You normally are able to rally yourself even if the boss is on you. At the point where everyone is dead and your the last one left that when you begin to go your thing the way you want to.

If your the first to break rank you can cause the wipe. People will some times go down it is not the same as wiping.

Are you a bad player? Depends when you broke rank.

thanks for the advise ill do that but I have to say stacking is really boring when are class is capable of some amazing stuff if we didn’t have to stack in the group all was dead but the guardian and he was at half hp

been playing a guard since game came out just a few weeks ago made a ranger got to 80 made my build an I am loving it watching my pet cut down mobs like a hot knife through butter put a big smile on my face fun ended in a dungeon we stacked on a champ and everyone started dying the hole time I was thinking I don’t even have to get hit so I dodged rolled out of stack and me and pet went to town and killed champ every one said they hated rangers and I said I was just playing a ranger like they were meant to be played most of are skills are meant for us to move around then I got kicked so my question is am I a bad player…PS rangers lead the way

happened to me today i thought it was just a con so used a shout to remove it and nope it was just weapons skills wouldn’t work but my shouts and elite skill still worked

there fun to play around with i don’t use them because they don’t stay around long enough to really help a lot

don’t really care for Berserkers they may be strong but 75% of the time when i am with them in a dungeon they drop like a wet noodle i have been in a few where most of the party was Berserkers died so fast couldnt heal them fast enough dungeons that normally are short turn into hours or rage quit some times i am guilty of rage quieting on them not sure if this is a good idea but i say make everyone else stronger and make them have better survivability i dont know might be a bad idea

im having trouble choosing witch Great sword to use i have ghastly great sword from AC with 179+power+128 toughness and 128 vit and i have crystal guardian with +79 all stats and +10% crit i know the AC great sword has higher stats but does the crystal guardian great swords extra stats make up for it please help
