This would be a great fourth utility skill if every legend was given an extra utility for some customization.
I never really used the projectile block on Ventari and would love to have a water field skill I could use in place of projectile defense.

Definitely love the changes…support revenant is looking a lot nicer with the Ventari and Glint/Shield changes. One thing however:
- Purifying Essence: This skill is now instant cast. Decreased the energy cost from 35 to 30 and added a 5 second recharge.
Was the 5 second recharge needed on this skill? We’re already prohibited by a fairly hefty energy cost of 30 which assuming we don’t have any upkeep, needs 6 seconds with 5 pips of energy regen to breakeven. Also, in a game that favours movement in combat, you’ll need at least 40 energy (10 for moving the tablet, 30 for casting this) in most cases to cleanse 3 conditions.
Nope don’t think it needed the CD either. Especially given how easily conditions are spread in this game and the energy cost.

Staff
- Renewing Wave: Changed the animation on this skill so it can be used while moving. It retained the same 1 second cast time.
Shield
- Envoy of Exuberance: Decreased the energy cost from 15 to 10. Fixed a bug so that this skill will properly heal at the target location instead of around you.
- Crystal Hibernation: Removed the defiance bar. This skill will now block attacks for the duration while regenerating health. Lowered recharge from 30 seconds to 20 seconds.
Legendary Centaur Stance
Here I made some changes to the cast time. Now all utility skills are instant, only the heal and the elite have a cast time. The elite has also been lowered in cast time as well as decreased energy cost.
- Naturalistic Harmony. Decreased the energy cost from 25 to 20.
- Purifying Essence: This skill is now instant cast. Decreased the energy cost from 35 to 30 and added a 5 second recharge.
- Energy Expulsion: This skill is now a blast finisher and reduced the cast time from 2 seconds to 1 second. Decreased the energy cost from 50 to 35.
So much hype right now due to these changes. Bring on BWE3.

Signet. Passive Effect: Gain periodically a random Venom, except for the Healing Venoms. Increases the Charges of Venoms
Active Effect: Deal a Shadow Step Attack with AoE Torment/Blind as Effect, that causes also the enemy to see Hallucinations for a while, making their screen all blurry. While suffering under Hallucinations is the Friendly Fire for hit Enemies deactivated, so that they will deal also damage to their allies with AoEs.
Turn off post-processing and no blurry screen effect!

Definitely worth using. The healing is really strong when paired with all of the outgoing healing traits, runes, and food. For example, with all the traits, runes, food, and max healing power, you can heal allies for over 6k with Natural Harmony.
The energy costs of Natural Harmony and Purifying Essence could be lowered by a bit, but overall the legend is very much worth using if you’re going for a support role.

Taunt should just be removed from the game. We didn’t need taunt in the game. Fear is bad enough in terms of the game taking control of your character away and forcing it to do something.

I’d guess that the 4th bonus will be on Heal and the 6th bonus on Legend swap.
Boring but versatile regardless of which Legend you’re using.
The # 4 is a good suggestion. #6 is too specific to the Revenant. My guess is it’ll be an elite skill use effect since we have two of them. Maybe Fury upon use of an elite skill; +5% damage when under the effect of Fury.
They could make it “on legend/weapon swap”. That way it would still be useful for other professions and attunement/kit swapping functions like weapon swapping, so it would work for Eles and Engis too.

Well it wouldn’t tie directly to the legend mechanics and skills, just the style of the legend. Ventari and the Salvation line are based around healing power and outgoing healing, so it would be a set based on those stats. I doubt they would have unique bonuses specific with the legend skills, though. Just something unique enough that plays along with the legend playstyle while still being usuable by the other professions and still being balanced with the other rune sets.

I’d like to see runes based around each legend too. For example, a Rune of Ventari that has healing power and outgoing healing, with the outgoing healing replacing the boon duration that most healing power runes have.

Here’s a crazy idea, but what about some sort of powerful effect if the break bar gets depleted? Like casting One with Nature?
Perhaps if it only affected allies and not the player. Otherwise it would limit the downside to having the breakbar depleted, mainly because of the protection.

It’s called an Elite Specialization for a reason, I agree with ArenaNet’s current design. They would have to change the name of it if they were going to do what you said, meaning it is highly likely it won’t happen, because the point of an Elite Specialization is to progress your current self into an elite form. That only makes sense on a level 80 character who has the knowledge of the profession and is therefore worthy of using it. Doing it at level 60 or any level before 80 would be a bad idea, because you only have an idea of the profession. It’s not until 80 that you really flesh it out with solid builds. People below 80 don’t have the armour/weapon/trinket stats, foods, oils, skill rotations and trait setups thought out enough to be considered “elite”.
It’s only “Elite” in the name and the fact that you can only have one elite spec slotted (when more are available). Elite specs are supposed to be balanced with the base profession and not be a straight up upgrade to the base profession.

Sounds good to me, the pve in this game is way too easy. I think it’s mainly a problem of crappy AI, not damage per se.

I agree with tablet spawn on legend swap, but I am still not sure about how Ventari fits in naturally or is powerful enough to be used any situation but pve reliably. What really does ventari do that herald doesn’t do better ?
Ventari is more supportive through healing and condition removal, while Glint is more boon support.
The only issue I see between Ventari and Glint is when it comes to some of the traits. Regen on tablet or regen on orbs sounds nice, but Glint stacks regen so much easier than Ventari. Plus taking those traits reduces the overall healing support because you lose out on two outgoing healing traits.

Yup Ventari is pretty awesome. Really nice to have healing support that’s impactful, especially in PvP.
