I need at least 2 more people and no more than 12 more people to join a group that I am putting together. I will send you a guild invite that you have to accept, but you don’t have to ever represent the guild if you don’t want to.
Basically, I am setting this up to eliminate the need for PuGs, because we all know how frustrating those can get. This will be better than a PuG because everyone will learn how to work with each other, making the runs much faster and easier. I want to get up to 15 people so we can have 3 full groups going at one time.
There are no set times to run dungeons each week, but I will see when people are online the most and try to set runs up. Once we get 2 more, we will have enough for a full group and I am thinking of running CM exp. for our first run.
Requirements: 1 free guild space, you must be active on most days (Obviously not if you have things going on), you must be lvl 80, and BE MATURE. I do not care if you are a teenager, as long as you don’t act like a small child. Leave a response if you would like me to send you a guild invite. I will send you a message and an invite when I log on next.

I am sending invites now. I am planning on having up to 15 people by the way
Looking for a few more people to make a static group. I will invite you to a guild. you do not need to represent, it is just there to see who is online. Let me know in comments and I will invite you in game. Please be active most days and level 80
There will be no set dungeon running days, we will just do it whenever people are available. This will eliminate the need for pugs, and will greatly increase the speed at which you get dungeon tokens because we will know how to work with each other.

8- I like the sound of Shade Darkblade
I have Zallis (Thief) and Zotash (Guardian). they are made to look like brothers.
This has almost nothing to do with GW2, but I read posts and see people using “Kitten” in place of swearing… Why?
When the patch first released, I killed 3 lvl 7 jotun and got 3 lvl 80 rares. My luck is just the opposite of yours
I think that people are more angry about the fact that the devs stated on numerous occasions that there would be no gear grind. This is like your teaching giving you a surprise final exam half way through the course.
How can people expect to not have to grind for gear? Do they think that you just have to run a dungeon one time and get the whole set?
Note: You do not have to be on sanctum of rall like me, I am pretty sure we can still group if we are on different servers
I am looking for 4 other people who want to have a group of people that they run dungeons with a lot. I will set up a guild just for the purpose of being able to see who is online, you dont have to represent at all. I have a guardian and a ranger and am currently working on a CoE set and running fractals.
We wouldn’t jsut do CoE and fractals, we would do whatever everyone wants to do at the time. Also, there is no set days for runs like “Every tuesday and thursday at 6”, we will do runs whenever everyone is on.
I want to do this because then I could have a group of people who will be experienced in the dungeon and the runs will be fast because we are used to working together, which means more money and gear.
I want to invite people who are active on most nights, and who primarily do PvE. So if you are sick of bad PuG groups, leave a reply, and I will invite you to the guild. I am Zotash/ Zerouff on Sanctum of Rall
(edited by zallis.2138)
That happened because the person that DCed was the instance owner. If the person who owns the instance leaves, everyone is kicked. It happened to me after an hour and a half long run. we were at last boss and we all get kicked
I don’t mind PuGs if the people know what they are doing. But I would rather have a four other people that I do dungeons with a lot. This way we will know how to work with each other and we will have a better chance at success.
So. I have 2 lvl 80s, A Guardian and a Ranger. I am currently working on a CoE set. I also run fractals. I am looking for 4 other people to run dungeons with. We would decide on which dungeons we do based on what we feel like at that time. I have a guild that is empty right now, the guild only purpose would to be so we can easily see who is online and organize runs.
There wouldnt be set nights like “every tuesday and thursday at 6:00”, it would just be whenever we are all on. Requirements: Be active on most days, like to do dungeons.
Anyways, I am on Sanctum of Rall, and I would like to have a group of people to run dungeons with so we could get tokens fast and without too many problems once we get used to it. My character names are Zotash, and Zerouff. Reply to this and I will send you a guild invite.
I decided to give fractials a chance, first one I got was Swampland. We had no mezmer in the group. After an hour of trying we gave up. The experience ruined my evening and all desire to play GW2.
I played a lot of dungeons in my time, and this one is By Far The Most Annoying dungeon I have ever been to in any MMO. Traps. Passages that close on you. Poison and bleed.
I don’t know what you could possibly do to make it more annoying, maybe add undead clowns?
by the way, no, not all fractals are this hard. most of them are pretty fun actually
For newer dungeon runners it is a problem. I HIGHLY suggest ANet move Swamp/Dredge fractal to at least 5+ on level scale as it isn’t very newbie friendly.
There really is only one “swamp” style fractal, the next closest is Dredge for newbie pains.
I agree about swampland, but I did the dredge one when everyone in my group including myself had never done it before. We figured it out pretty easily
They’re collectible for me…
Edit: By collectible, I am assuming you mean stackable.
No. I mean collectible as in the ability to put them in the collectibles tab
Karka shell and the other new lost shores crafting mats should be collectable.
REMOVE THIS TOKEN BS, ANET!
in gw2 you see one person per 2h in the explorable world, just pathetic.
1st: Calm down.
2nd: if it was a random drop people could run the same thing over and over and over and never see the item they want. With tokens you know that you will get an item every few runs.
3rd: You are either way over exaggerating to make a point that is made up, or you chose a very underpopulated server. I see people all the time in every zone in the world.
I was just in CoE for an hour/ hour and a half and we got to Bjarl (2nd to last boss) on path 1. He has a buff that negates most damage that SHOULD go away temporarily once he runs into these pillars. But after the update today, the buff does not go away even after running into 30 pillars. He is clearly running into them, too. This effectively made the dungeon impossible to complete, thus making the run a huge waste of time and gold.
If people were running a dungeon and they run into a bug that makes the dungeon impossible to progress through (especially at the end of one), the group should get something. just a small compensation that says “Sorry this part of the game is unplayable at the moment.” An example reward would be a refund on repair bills. Or 30 dungeon tokens. Anything. cause nothing makes me more mad than getting to the end of a hard dungeon run and then having to quit because a boss is invincible.
Sorry but that’s about the typical reaction here, ltp, gear up and don’t cry.
Sorry but these “so called” dungeons are not designed with casual players in mind, MANY people will be excuded from dungeons (even for completing their personal stories) or because they just can’t face them because of their terrible design.
They are not fun, they are not easy, and many casual players will tell you the same.
Seems we can’t all be “elite” and not die.
Dungeons arent supposed to be easy. They are designed well and if you can’t do them without dying, then you obviously can’t figure out how to kill the bosses. CoE was seemingly impossible at first with Subject Alpha, but I now know how to fight him without getting hit more than 2 times.
So it’s not restricted to 80’s and scales based on the overall level of the group? So much for cries of casuals being cut out and gear treadmills preventing access. I’m laughing at the people who panicked right now.
Low levels can go, but they will probably not be accepted into most groups. A level 80 is still more powerful than a level 66 that was scaled to 80, because of gear stats and traits. They said in an article that “The dungeon is meant to challenge level 80 players, so entering the Fractals of the Mist at a level lower than 80 is not for the faint of heart.” meaning that you can enter but it will be very difficult
People are pissed off. They say you have broken a promise of no gear treadmill. People are leaving and threatening to leave. People are sharpening their pitchforks before the update is released. I think to calm people down, you should assure everyone that it isn’t going to make exotics useless. Tell them why Ascended gear was absolutely necessary. It may just save you a bunch of players.
Maybe they intended for Ascended gear to only be of major use in the new dungeon, and maybe they will release new types of armor and infusions for other new dungeons. That way it encourages you to do the dungeons and that isnt as bad as making an entire treadmill.
Now, I like the level of difficulty for the most part, but there are a couple things that could be fixed.
1) It seems like in each dungeon, there is at least 1 path that is much easier than all of the others. for instance: In HOTW, path 1 takes around a half an hour to complete and the bosses are pretty straightforward and simple. But paths 2 and 3 take much longer to complete because the final boss is underwater, and they have much more health. One time I fought the final boss of path 3 for an hour. The underwater bosses are not more difficult really because the mechanics are fairly simple, but they take forever due to the amount of time it takes to kill them as opposed to path 1. Also, in CoE, people favor paths 1 and 2 because there is a boss in path 3 that takes a crazy amount of time to take down.
These things should be fixed, because players should not be discouraged to play one of the paths, they should be able to play all three at around the same difficulty. Now, before people say “Don’t change it or the game will become too easy”, keep in mind that fixing the problem could either mean making the easier paths harder as well as making the hard paths easier. I am not asking them to tone difficulty down, I just think they should keep the 3 paths within a dungeon around the same difficulty and completion time.
2) Story mode is supposed to be fairly easy to get through. It is an introduction to the dungeon, as well as a way for the character to learn the story of Destiny’s Edge. I wanted to do the stories all in the correct order, so I did AC, CM, and TA. AC was very difficult, but that is understandable because that is the first dungeon of the whole game and everyone that level has any dungeon experience. CM was very fast and easy, and I think that CM was closer to the difficulty that story mode should be. TA was easy except for a few trash pulls. I got to this pull where there were several nightmare hounds, and that fight was harder than each boss fight combined. It was an unneeded difficulty spike. If there is going to be a random increase in difficulty, it should be at a boss (if anything). Also, I hear that CoE is the hardest of all of the story modes by far because of some crazy first pull.
After TA, I quit because I decided that if I am going to be doing something this challenging, I might as well do explorable modes where I am rewarded with gear. The point of this, is that before launch, story mode was advertised as a way for players to get their feet wet, and explorable poses a big challenge for more experienced and skilled players. When I began doing story modes, I wasn’t expecting to be naked at the end of the dungeon, I was expecting to die once maybe twice and have a smooth run where I can see how the Destiny’s Edge gets back together. And when I went into HOTW, I wasn’t expecting it to be so easy, especially compared to the story modes.
Now, what could be done is to tone down the story modes, and make them all the same difficulty, and more around the difficulty of CM story mode. And all explorable mode paths should be harder than every story mode dungeon.
Bottom Line:
Make story mode dungeons easier so people can actually do them and experience your dungeon content without too much trouble. And make explorable modes all around the same general level of difficulty so people can be willing to do all 3 paths of a dungeon and not favor 1 or 2, never to do the hardest of the 3. And make explorable modes harder than story modes, that way they seem like much more of a challenge than story.
What does everyone think?
those are the funniest edits I have seen rofl. cant help though. sorry
Here is the picture of the helmet when I preview it.
The helmet that you can buy with CM tokens does not appear correctly on Norn (Maybe some other races too, but all I know is that it doesn’t work on Norn.). It is as if Norn heads are too big for the item. When I equip it or preview it, it appears like the screenshot below.
This is especially annoying because I have looted 3 items that have this skin, and none of them show up correctly on my Norn Ranger. This seems like it would be an easy fix, but what do I know. Anyways, please look into resizing this item to fir Norn.
the preview looked darker because there was no sun for the armor to reflect.
I suggested that instead of a locker or npc, it’s integrated in the UI and easy to switch to, like town clothing is. Also you could unlock more “storage space” or equipment set tabs by spending skill points.
That is an awesome Idea. They can still make money from it too

I made a thread on the “Guild Wars 2” Discussion forums. I asked what everyone would think if the level cap increased when an expansion was released. Not a single person would enjoy that lol. It would seem best to keep the level cap at 80 and make all new content lvl 80 only in addition to what there is already. It would be nice to be able to go to Cantha, Orr, Ring of Fire, Crystal Desert, and Elona all at level 80. If the level increased, the lvl 80 gear would become inferior, thus, creating a gear treadmill which is exactly what you wanted to get away from.
Here is the forum thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Should-Level-Cap-Increase-in-Xpacs/first#post539747
So on behalf of everyone who plays this game and would like to see it stay true to what it is all about, keep the level cap 80. Though I am sure that you weren’t planning on making this game have a gear treadmill.
The reason I bring this up is because I read somewhere that Anet said they are planning on implementing new levels in future expansions.
No thanks. >.<
Don’t need ‘tiers’ to make more gear. They can introduce new recipes for new skins.
With new gear, they would probably need new mats instead of orichalcum for example. If there were 5 different level 80 ores for different recipes, it may get a bit overwhelming.
This post is so you can all discuss whether or not you think that the level cap should be increased with the release of expansions.
The level cap is currently 80, and that is pretty high for the release of a game. With the release on an expansion, there would be another villain. As heroes, our story would extend to kill the next elder dragon. Anet can easily make more story missions without having to raise the level cap, and in my opinion, you shouldn’t have to do one part of the story, then wait 2 levels to do the next (Especially when an army is about to attack a base or city, the npcs say “Meet me there fast.” Then it takes a day or two for you to actually get there.). Here are pros and cons of increasing level cap.
My thoughts:
Pro’s
1) It would increase the amount of time it takes to progress your character (good or bad, depending on person.)
2) Would make the new content seem like it takes longer to get through, because you have to level to get to the next section of it.
3) The people who buy the game to level up, then quit until new content comes out would be coaxed to return.
4) Would allow new dungeons to be spread out
5) You would feel even stronger compared to lower level players.
6) Without higher level caps, there would eventually be too many level 80 zones, spreading out the playerbase too much, making it hard to find groups for events and such.
7) Without higher level cap, the low level content would seem very small compared to the high level content after a few expansions are released.
8) New crafting tiers, and materials would be made to fit new lvl cap.
9) People would make new alts.
10) Story would take longer than a single day to finish.
Cons:
1) Eventually, the level cap would get excessive. Having a level 110 character seems a bit much.
2) Stats on gear would have to be reworked, causing imbalance at first until it is fixed.
3) People would be forced to buy transmutation stones in order to keep the look of their lvl 80 set and still be effective.
4) Those who get max level quickly would have to wait for everyone to catch up to them to be able to group for the max level content.
5) Orr would be barren due to the lack of high level materials and events. And those who would want to see it wouldnt be able to because the forts are all under enemy control
6) There would be no new crafting tiers.
7) Your level 80 gear would become inferior until you get to the next lvl cap.
8) You would need to farm an entire new set of exotics to transmute your old armor set into.
GW2 doesn’t have endgame. It just has game. You don’t level one way and then play another way at the level cap. You just play it. People overthink this.
There is endgame. You do dungeons and PvP for exotics and legendary. I don’t understand why people think that there is no endgame. There is stuff to do at 80, other than make alts.
Did they say anything about player houses?
They did not.
darn, you got my hopes up there
You could just buy extra bank/inventory slots with gems. I kinda think that’s what they intended. You have to realize that you’re discussing a convenience, and most conveniences are obtained through the gem shop.
There is still plenty of stuff to fill up a bank with even without multiple armor sets. I doubt it will decrease sales that much

This means no storage in player’s house when released. Only bank access will be available in player houses.

Some of my characters. Granted, the second guy is a bit slim but since when has a bulky physique been required to be masculine? If people are complaining about a lack of masculine options, they either have a skewered perception of what men actually look like or they confuse being ugly for being “masculine”.
Now, it’d be nice if you could age your characters appearance in a less binary way, especially for females. But the existing customisation options allow for a nice breadth of human characters. Yeah, the game focuses on attractive characters. So what? There’s enough ugliness in the world, so a game can avoid forcing one to play it. I do wish you could give your male characters a big bulge in their undies though, like you can give females big breasts, but that’s for another topic.
That first one looks a bit odd. The rest are great though. My human guardian looks really young haha.
If you add quivers (I’d love one), you would also have to add sword sheaths for the Greatsword and all sorts of other things…
That would also lead to the addition of “Wings” as well…
And the Shield would really get in the way.
They better not give people wings. That makes no sense.
Trading post is completely screwed up.
1: Anet can fix a lot of the problems by making people have to list items for more than 1c above vendor price. When people post items for 1c above vendor prices, they end up losing 15% of their money. I don’t know if people don’t realize that there is a tax, but even if they don’t, why would you only want a 1c profit on something that could take days to sell. This makes it really hard to sell items that you don’t want and get a good amount of money for them. It also makes it hard to sell most items on the TP, because almost all of the items but the rare and higher gear is posted for 1c above vendor price.
2: The feature that allows people to name their price needs to be fixed, or removed completely. When they select an item and they name their price, some people say they will only pay 1c for the item. This happens a lot with blue items. The way they can fix this is by making it impossible to name a price under the lowest possible selling price. If they fix the above problem, then people should not be able to ask for a price where the seller would get no profit.
Summary: Anet needs to fix the lowest possible selling price to make people have to post items for a price where they will get at least 1 coin in profit after tax. And the “name your price feature” needs to not allow people to ask for a price on an item where the seller would get no profit after tax.
If these two things are fixed, people will start making higher amounts of money and things like fast travel will not put as much of a dent in your funds, but items bought on the TP will still have the same impact on your amount of gold because prices will go up, as will your income.
Yes. It is extremely annoying seeing as how EVERYTHING except rare and higher gear is put up for 1c above vendor price. It makes it impossible to sell crafting mats for a profit, and makes people not get as much money as they would with higher prices.

Consider adding the facility for players to buy things from the TP for (very large amounts of) Karma, which is translated to gold for the seller at a set rate.
Again, why? You provide absolutely zero justification or explanation for your suggestions but complain when people don’t take the time to explain why they disagree? I don’t see anything in your entire post which would be solved or improved by karma being a currency usable on the TP.[/quote]
The karma option would be useful because then people wouldnt have to spend gold on gear, and instead can get that specific skin with a different method (Which fits with Anets goals) and the seller still gets money. He said Very large amounts of karma, so that way, it isnt easy to save up enough to get the gear, and it will take a considerable amount of crafting. It is a way for people to want to get karma other than just the Orr sets.
When you teleport to a waypoint, sometimes there is the orange “Charm” button when you are standing next to a pet whose owner hasn’t loaded yet. Happens to me a lot in cities where it takes a while for the people to all load. You aren’t able to actually tame them, but when you click the button, your character looks in the direction of the pet as if trying to tame it.
The title pretty much explains it. Dye should be account wide.
Well, you don’t see them replying to this thread do you?
I think that answers enough
Okay, I know they arent gonna post on each thread, but the question was are they looking at them.
Do this. Preview the TA armor sets for explorable. They look good for sylvari, and you cant see an inch of their lettuce layers
Maybe if they edited the light armor to look like warrior armor when transmuted with heavy armor, then that would be fine. But i like being able to look at a person and think “Oh hey, they are wearing large heavy armor with spikes and flames, they are a warrior.”
Well a ranger in plate armor wouldn’t look right either lol.
a while back, I posted this same question on the blizzard forums for WoW and a dev responded. They said “Yes.”. thats it. lol
There are PvP lockers where you can store your sets of armor for SPVP account wide. Anet could easily implement a PvE locker into the game. I think that they should have a locker in lion’s arch where a character can store all of the exotic and legendary armor sets that they get. However, it should not be account wide.
There are so many sets of armor and weapons for a character to get, that it is hard to store them in your bank as well as all of the other armor. A locker would make it a lot easier to collect many sets and be able to mix and match them easily and not having to worry about filling up on space.
I am sure that there are one or two good ideas in the suggestions page of the forums, but do the devs go through them and take any into consideration? It would be awesome to see one of your suggestions be implemented into the game at some point.
if this happens, we will need some weapons to be allowed in the water as well. This is entirely not feasible but the idea is great.
Spears are one of my favorite weapons of all time and are interesting how they evolved in real war. They shouldn’t be ONLY for water, I agree.
On the same note, It doesn’t make sense to keep something like a sword/greatsword only on land when it can essentially do the same thing in water. Not to mention we all have magical abilities in this game. Why are we not able to do things in water as we can on land. Mesmers SHOOT out of their greatsword, but forget how to do this in the water?
All in all, there is a magnitude of directions to go with more weapons/skills that we will likely not see because of balance issues.
Well, you can use magic in water with a trident, and greatswords would realistically be harder to use under water, and same with other weapons. I haven’t played a mesmer, but a guardian with a trident shoots magic balls of light in water. We wouldnt have to have land weapons be for water in the sense that it doesnt make sense like land spears do
There, i put a spce between the paragraphs so it looks less hard to read
If you hate being a kitteny lettuce person, why would you create a kitteny lettuce person…?
