I would rage about it to no end, quit then demand a full refund.

If i wanted static combat with a complex combat system id play gw1 or one of the other thousand MMOs that provide that.

For me the freedom of movement in combat, jumping and dodging what keeps me playing this game regardless of the depth of combat itself.

I’M aware you can get the toymaker tixx minis again, im talking about the ones that were available in the cash shop RNG in black lion chests.

First off gotta say i LOVE the new minis, especially the puppy. However I’m a mini collector and its kinda disappointing me that the only ones im missing are the old wintersday minis such as foostivoo.

Wondering if anyone knows if these minis will ever be available again, like the old Halloween ones on sale in gemstore, or if they were a one time only,y deal and im doomed to forever have an incomplete collection XP

Well in my opinion the fractal is fine. Interesting mechanics decent boss fight and about the right length for a fractal. I actually really enjoyed it, dunno what most people are complaining about.

Aside from the other issues and bugs that came with this patch, I have really enjoyed the three new fractals. I feel the molten and atherblade are the right length and the thermoreactor was fun and interesting to puzzle out first time.

It may not be amazing new combat that revolutionizes the game but it was fun to do and i’m glad its now a permanent part of fracs so thanks

Dredge on the other hand….why oh why lol

I completed level 2 frac and got a pristine token/1g reward bonus chest. I then completed level 10 and got no bonus chest.

Im assuming this means that frac lvl 2 and 10 are now in the same reward tier, before there were 2 separate bonus chests (1-9 no pristine, 10-19 1 pristine). Can anyone confirm this is correct and if possible list the new daily reward tiers?

My guilds puzzle bugged this week and i was unable to attend the retry with them.

Wondering if any EU guild has a public puzzle scheduled today or tomorrow that i could hop in for.

Nope no mounts, but there are alot of speed buffs that make you run 33% faster.

I dont have a problem with people using MF as long as the dungeon is going smoothly and at a decent pace. The second people start wiping all over the place though, id expect these MF’s to change to a more suitable set.

Anyway, like I said its probably nothing much to worry about, no reason why anyone lvl 2 would want to join a level 30, unless they enjoy lying face down dead for 70% of the time. Just hopefully some dev will consider this potential problem.

I’d also like to say im grateful that changes are being made to make the dungeon better Shows they are willing to change the game to help the players which is awesome.

If they showed everyone’s level, elitism might come into play. ‘oh your only 12? u cant join this 19’ ect

Pleased with the new system was really needed but…

my guild mentioned that under this new system, a lvl 1 player could join a lvl 30+ team and cause them to wipe over and over due to his inexperience.

Since there is no concrete way of checking someones level before entering this could be a problem.

Hopefully it wont come to this and its just premature worrying but something to think about maybe.

Yes it sucks for mini pet collectors but just be thankful that its not statistically superior weapons and armor in there like half the other korean mmos out there. Id take a mini gamble over a weapon gamble anyday.

There is an unbreakable bell that you can get from personalized gift boxes which gives access to the music skillbar. Or its for sale on TP for 50g.

So if you are rich there’s the option of havin a permanent musical instrument.

Does anyone know if the toypocalypse will be an ongoing 24 hour event like the dungeons, or if it will be a one time event at 6pm (GMT).

If it is one time, anyone have a clue as to how long it will last?

I have to do something that day and don’t want to miss the event, but the lack of info on it is frustrating.

People who cant complete the puzzle seriously need to stop whining. So what if its timed, some people enjoy that. Its not as if there arent 30 other non timed JP for you to complete, and not as if you cant get the chest rewards from taking part in other content.

Some people enjoy a challenge and this one is MUCH easier than the clocktower, they have tried to accomodate as many people as possible.

If you are still struggling, try harder or just quit and rememebr you dont need to do everything. If you hate something..just dont play it.

I personally have bent fingers from an accident where i broke them as a kid, makes it really hard to correctly press the buttons for bells. Did I moan and demand its made easier? No I spent 2 hours practicing and enjoying myself and managed to come 4th finally and got both achirvements.

And before anyone bothers to commen this is a narrow minded view please THINK that the many other players enjoyed the puzzle and consider them too. You arent entitled to everything, and demanding things are changed just for you is much more narrow minded and inconsiderate than just saying..oh well i gave it a good try and moving on.

Really the only legitimate complaints are lag and that some peoples loading times are too long, meaning they cant get onto the first platform fast enough. Any other complaints are just people being awkward.

My router reset itself randomly 2 days ago. Since then whenever I try and log into the forums, the authenticate the IP adress requirement pops up.

I have authenticated this IP over 10 times now, and the prompt still appears after logging out of forums. Its starting to get slightly annoying and is spamming my hotmail lol

Also the game registers the IP adress as Glasgow UK however I live in the north east okitten in Sunderland.

I am not using a proxy and no other software has issue with the IP.

Any clues on how to fix this? Ive sent tickets but have only recieved incorrect automated responses.

I do not count the infinite spawns as a bug because they have ALWAYS spawned if you had done the event the right way to begin with. The trick to this fight is knowing where to pull the boss so that your not fighting the whole entire room of adds. My static group does this fight every single day since we always seem to get it as 1 of the 3. Sometimes multiple times a day. We have no problem beating this fight.

As I said before, only 1 thing is buggy and thats the seal not having its protective barrier around it at the very start of the fight. This is what causes the first wave of adds to not spawn. Once that is handled, the rest of the fight is beatable in the way the devs designed it.

As far as the guy saying that games are supposed to be fun, well challenging fights like this is fun for me. When people are able to cheese a challenging fight, that takes my fun and sense of accomplishment away. If your not skilled enough to do the content, find something you are skilled enough to do.

If its true the infinite adds are not a bug then there is currently a bug that sometimes the adds disappear after the seal is hit. Around 25% of my runs after the patch have this happening, while the other 75% get the enormous amount of mobs.

Additionally, if the mobs aren’t a bug then this dungeon is disproportionately difficult compared to the others and needs adjusting. I personally think 15+ veteran mobs cannot be intentional and is unfairly hard for PUGS.

I cant believe people think this game is p2w. This is one of the LEAST pay to win games I have ever seen, ever. Someone please point out to me which item that is exclusive to the gem shop gives me a statistical advantage over other characters.

The only truly exclusive gem shop items to me are bank and character slots and lets face it, you can live without them. Anet has to make some form of profit you know…

The only milking of the Cash shop I have seen are the black lion chests with their RNG rewards, but its just skins…..it doesn’t give you any advantage other than looking pretty. And the Halloween ones were craft able too!

Anyone who thinks this game is P2W needs to go play a Korean MMO, where ‘chance chests’ give the best weapons in the game, give 10x additional damage and are the ONLY way to get these items.

THAT is milking the cash shop, having a skin or a bank space that you cant craft is not.

Fractal isnt fixed, just the mobs despawn when you die. about half of my attempts, including one after patch have seen mobs infinitely spawning after the seal has been damaged, resulting in party wipes and resetting the entire final encounter.

Ruien I’m afraid you are wrong. The boss bugs out constantly, regardless of whether the seal has the barrier or not. Mainly in the mobs not disappearing after hitting the seal and then the worse bug where they re-spawn over and over even when the hammer is not dropped.

KyleQuest I have to disagree there was something wrong, being able to hit the seal with aoe’s was unintentional, went against the mechanics of the dungeon and for all purposes was an exploit. I have no argument with that being fixed.

The problem is the fractal is now broken to the point where most PUGS will find it uncompletable, meaning even running a fractal on level 10+ is risky. Most Pug must be lucky and not get the infinite adds in order to progress.

I hope they remove this frac from the rotation until it can be fixed as I wont be running any fractals again until these bugs are gone…

Todays fix only removed the adds that remain after a wipe, mobs do not disappear after hitting a seal and continue to spawn while attacking boss.

Just did a lvl 11 run, most players with 5 agony resist and got cliffside

We wiped as advised to fix seal but after the boss dropped the hammer, around 15 -20 mobs spawned over and over.

We wiped again, unable to handle the number of mobs but they did not reset. after fighting the boss yet again and getting the hammer drop even more mobs spawned leaving us with around 25 adds as well as boss to deal with.

After 7 wipes we gave up the seal kept resetting and max number of hits we achieved was 2.

What kinda of workaround is there for this? we tried dragging boss away but his circles forced us back into the group of mobs.

Is there a certain place to stand or something that makes it do-able?

If not i’d advise ALL pugs to avoid frac until its fixed..atm its just hell.

I made this post after running a lvl 10 frac at dredge boss. It was a nightmare lol

My friend and I were with 3 random PUGS. At the boss the warrior insisted on tipping the bucket, we let him but he constantly pulled aggro.

I suggested the guardian go up or my friend as they had the least DPS but the warrior refused saying he could do it, then proceeded to die from bombs at the lever.

The other 2 randoms ran to res while I kited but entire group -me died from bombs causing the boss to reset its HP to full. I am definitely not the best player by far
and found it hilarious I was the last standing.

This happened twice before I gave up and left :P

As far as I am aware, the prototype back pieces that are bought with relics do not have an offensive/defensive infusion slot. Therefore you are correct, these must be upgraded once firstly to gain the infusion slot (1850 relics) and then once again to gain the koss (infused) status which gives another +5 agony resist to the base stats, under the power toughness vit.

The crafted backpieces however already come with the offensive/defensive infusion slot. So these can only be upgraded once to koss (infused) status to gain the same +5 agony in base stats.

Just curious if when you enter a dungeon with a PUG and notice right away that its a bad group, do you leave immediately? continue hoping for the best? kick?

I tend to continue for awhile hoping it will be OK then quit after about 30mins of fail lol

Thankfully really bad pugs tend to only happen once in awhile but it sure aint fun when it does.

We experienced the same bug and had to leave the fractal without completing it.
This needs an urgent fix as it leaves the dungeon unplayable.

No, that’s why it’s called a daily chest. If anyone in your group didn’t do the Maw event, your whole group will be taken there. At the end of it you’ll either receive a chest + daily reward (if it’s the first time you do it that day) or a chest and no daily (if you did it before).

Dev stated Any run between 1 and 9 all count as the same daily. So if you beat a Maw 8 and then again on 10, you will get 2 separate dailies.

I know I would not receive a ring for running 4, but by his logic I should have received a second daily chest with fractal relics yeah?

Is sigil of restoration a good choice for an offhand dagger?
My ele has around 18-20k hp depending on gear
D/D ele with 10/0/10/30/20

If not which would be better (mainhand currently using bloodlust)

So as far as I’m aware you can only have 1 stacking effect active at any time. E.g no bloodlust and corruption together.

Also if both of these runes are on main and offhand weapons, the blood lust will be prioritized for first stack no matter which weapon makes the kill.

Can anyone confirm this for me?

Also do the sigils restoration or force work on offhand weapons together with bloodlust?

Finally if they do which sigil (restoration or force) would work best for a D/D ele 10/0/10/30/20

I think the only changes needed to actual content are legendary dredge and jellyfish need HP lowering about 10%. This is not because they are too hard but just because the fights get boring going on for so long.

Dredge takes longer than elemental as he pauses more to fire off bombs, lengthening the kiting time.

Does the minimalist HP approach mean that support eles (who spec heavily into VIT to achieve maximum healing in dungeons) will no longer be viable?

Took me 2 hours to find a group for lvl 4 and people kept entering party and turning out to be lvl 1.

We then had people saying they were lvl 4 when actually they were lvl 3 and hoped we wouldn’t notice so they could get it done.

When it comes to tricking parties to get a dungeon completed there is an issue.

I find that bunker guardians with support eles produces far faster and easier runs than a team with just random people. Its just my own experience but from what ive seen the ol’ tanky class and heal classes still rule even if it isnt necessary to bring them.

The worst thing was when the mod infracted people who asked him/her if they’d reported the EA issue to the developer, in response to the same moderator stating that they report issues that are of great concern to the player community. Apparently, that was somehow ‘off-topic’.

I was the other infracted post. I sent an email saying that I thought the infraction was unjustified but never got a response :S

If I run a dungeon and fail to get the rare drop I can rerun it over until I receive this rare drop.
If I play the lottery and lose, I can play again the next week and have another chance of winning
If I take part in the lost shores event and fail, I have failed forever with no chance of that event drop again.

Does this issue stay even after relogging? IF so this is a HUGE bug.

Would like to comfirm that any use of a repair canister in Fract results in a full party crash ending the dungeon.

When relogging, party will be back in lions arch and unable to complete it.
This may also cause a party chat bug where messages do not appear, and another bug where players are unable to leave the party.

Which gear set should I be looking to get?
I thought power toughness vit gear was appropriate for most ele’s but there is none at all on TP.
I am also aware there are about 20 different sets with these stats but after hours of searching im more confused than when I started.

Can someone please link me a decent exotic armor/wep set and tell me where pieces are from and what they cost. I use D/D any my build is 10/0/10/30/20

1. RLT and Magnetic rasp are still bugged. I have first hand experienced this. maybe you have just been lucky but i can 100% say they still cause the self stun.

2. The 2 balancing devs do not play elementalist as their main. This was confirmed in an old post way back on the ele and warrior forums. It is pretty clear there is a significant lack of understanding behind ele mechanics and skills due to the nerf of tornado….TORNADO.

3. Evasive arcana was crucial to an entire ele weapon (staff) and several might stacking builds. The lack of even 1 single blast finisher has destroyed those builds and many peoples play styles.

4. Eles CANNOT under any circumstance achieve more raw damage than a thief. Yes a glass cannon ele will do more damage than a bunker thief but if each class traits glass cannon the thief will come off far superior and with better defensive mechanisms to boot. Please link me an example where an elementalist has been able to achieve 15k damage in 3 seconds.

With regards to PVP, there are still no death match modes, arenas, and dueling.
No custom servers
No distinguishing between PUGS and premades in tourneys.
No clear and automated progression system.
No fix on the issue of glory farming in empty servers

Like I said, the negatives far outweigh the benefits.

I’m sorry but asking for a person with the appropriate level for a dungeon is not selfish. It would be selfish for the lower level to assume all 4 other players would spend 2-3 hours waiting for that lower level to catch up.

Im looking for a complete list of all exotic light armour sets in the game that have these stats.
Anywhere I can find it? The wiki is inconsistent and I cant seem to find a clear list.

I think a good option would be to provide additional end game content that gives an different way of accessing legendary items.

Adding alterative runes would have also been acceptable, such as 2 stats with higher bonus rather than 3 with lower as drops from dynamic events in PVE, dungeon drops and WvW rewards.

People wanted more stuff to do not higher level gear. More creative content is needed not another endless grind through a dungeon.
