The expansion will come in few weeks yet still there is no subforum for PoF.
I think the title screen and the shadow on the characters faces is a bit too dark for a desert themed expansion.
Unidentified gear may reduce the item bloat a bit but it will add more complexity to the loot system. It will not really solve the problem of the many useless green/blue items which nobody who reached level 80 will need to equip them and the cost to identify these items is too high.
Reducing the the drop rates of these items and replacing them with copper and useful materials would be much appreciated.

one of the worst things about reaper design is to make it melee range spec and give it worst possible survivability.
I tried lich form today and noticed the following problem: I could not persistently enable autoattack for skill #1. Each time I did it it would stay enabled for the duration of the transformation, but 2 minutes later when Lich Form got recharged I used it again, skill 1 would still be set to autoattack: disabled.
The auto attack in Lich form needs to be enabled everytime you enter the form.
This is very annoying as I tend to lose dps because of this.
I’m just guessing but in order to get max condi damage and duration you will need viper gear with rune of tormenting and sigil of torment, moldering or malice. Curses/soul reaping/scourge sould work well for this.
We lost a game today when an elementalist in our team got stuck in this area near mid point.

The daily Small bag of spirit shards was like that before feb, 22th update then they fixed it to work inside PvP lobby and matches.
I think Anet restricted the use of all items like food, toys and bags inside PvP to prevent people from abusing them, they allowed some harmless loot bags and crates to open but forgot about the others and the Black Lion Material Bag is one of them.
I posted this because some PvP players spend all the time inside the lobby and they don’t want to leave it just to open one material bag.
The easiest work-around is to visit your guild hall (hopefully everyone has at least one of those).
That’s not a solution. It’s better to fix it.

I just saw on wiki that the Ley-Energy Matter Converter sells Boxes of WvW Supplies but I don’t find it on the tabs. Is there a something I should buy to unlock them??

This is just a minor display bug but after reaching rank 80 in spvp, each rank-up reward window still display rank 80 instead of the current rank of the player (115 in the picture).
I’m still exploring the new map but I think it needs more than one waypoint.
I agree with OP. Making outfits into separate armor pieces will give players more freedom and variety when customizing their characters.
The festival had many great things, I hope to see it again soon.

If grinding (by grinding I mean playing mostly wvw for few years) is a problem for you just because you prioritize lets say PVE, why are you so interested in those skins? They look good? Play for them. If playing to get something many hours is insulting and you aren’t interested in spending those hours, well, you shouldn’t target those skins.
Many people are playing only WvW and pvp time to time, many people are spending thousands of hours in wvw in last 4 years. Yes, they have deserved to have something you don’t have. If you aren’t interested in WvW…well, leave a queue and allow to play for those who are interested.
My point here is when you look at PvP or PvE you’ll find that players (old or new) get ascended items with unique skins after spending a reasonable amount of time in that mode, but WvW requires you to spend up to x100 times effort to get the skins of that game mode. When Anet puts these requirements to get the skins it only makes grinding look cool and makes new players who do not want to go into endless grind stay away from WvW.
I unederstand what you’re trying to say about rewarding the vets but Anet is doing it the wrong way. The best example I can think of to solve this is what WoW or Hearthstone does to reward veteran players:
With the start of each month/seaon there is a new unique armor to get. If you spend time X or reach rank Y during this season you will get the unique skins but if you don’t play you won’t get it. This is the correct way reward loyal players and keep them playing regularly without complaining about grind.

Because you haven’t deserved. It’s reward for playing the game mode properly. I want legendary armour, but I hate raiding, so maybe ANET should lower the amount of LI we need for them? No, because you have to achieve it. You want to get those skins, go play WVW to get them. But people like in PVP, they just come for item and ruining game mode like this.
We have huge queues in WvW due to new players wanting those skins, lately numbers dropped as they noticed it will take a lot of time. Those skins are rewarded for playing game mode, not just to get it because you like it.
And entry rank should be at least 200 in wvw, depending on server.
Im not against the concept of playing to get the reward but anyone who can use a calculator knows that the grind to get ascended armor in WvW is far too high compared to sPvP or PvE and If you think that wasting hundreds if not thousands of hours of your life just to get 6 virtual items on the screen is something that should be rewarded, I find it an insult to human intelligence and an achievement that people should be ashamed of.

Gameplaywise, there is no point of getting more than rank 1000 because all WvW abilities are upgraded. Anet simply made the +1000 WvW ranks to reward the people who still rank up past this level with some loot and fancy titles as a small motivation to keep them playing.
While spending Tomes of knowledge to rank up is good idea to help players get the abilities and let them make a good use of the extra tomes, some ‘EotM-exp-farmers’ and ‘elitists’ keep coming in zergs to attack it because they think that if you do not spend +500 hours grinding levels you do not deserve ‘to get that armor’ like they did.
So the commander tag has become like this: 300 gold for 1 extra pip each 5 minutes.

Tomes of knowledge are kinda usless and many players have more than they can spend. I like the idea of using them to rank up in WvW (x amount of tomes for 1 rank) but a lot of high rank players (and EotM exp farmers) will attack this thread because they think that players from other game modes do not deserve this armor.

I totally agree with OP. Anet should make the competitive tab a bit smaller
I find the sound a bit too loud and annoying and its pattern does no reflect well the capture progress.
I think improving the visuals for capture points or adding a circle or bar above the point would be better.

I know this idea will be bashed in next post or be ignored by the devs but I was hoping that Anet would let us use tomes of knowledge to gain wvw ranks inside the mist war and remove the tomes from the rank up rewards.
The game gives too much tomes in both pve, pvp and wvw and a lot of veteran players do not need them, I already have like 1500 tomes and Idon’t know how to use them.

Even when I solo Q with a power necro, I don’t find cc that much of a problem in PvP.
Just a small question: are we going to get some sort of reward or score for doing veteran creatures events? should we expect a change about them?
While valkyrie increases your base surviveability, it relies on being buffed by other party members to get max dps, it will also force you to use Decimate Defenses and use a build specifically to stack vulnerability.
Personnaly I recommand you to go full berserker to get better dps outside of shroud. You can swap between spite/bm/reaper or spite/sr/reaper depending on how much buffs you can geat from your party or perhaps you might want to craft viper gear and try condi builds which are considered the best for raids and high level fractals.

The snowball arena is broken because of the following: unbalanced classes, no movement restrictions to the flag carrier, the flag spawns is in the middle so no one can defend it, team A can cap while team B has the flag, and the list goes on..
so, it’s safe to say this is no real CTF.
GW2 has so much potientiel and I think it’s worth the effort if they do it correctly because so many PvP games like overwatch, wow, battlefield, quake, tribes ascend.. managed to attract the people with this game mode.

Hopefully Anet adds a “capture the flag” map. Unlike conquest, this mode will give tanks, healers and damage dealers a specific role. It will also make players think about different builds and team comps.
This mode is already popular and easy to develop in many pvp games. If we take WoW as an example, we find that the most popular battleground is a 13 year old CTF map (a.k.a Warsong Gulch).
We have a capture the flag map, it’s called Snowball Arena and it’s an unmitigated disaster (and that’s with standardized skills and stats).
No, we don’t have a CTF map and I suggest you to google capture the flag rules and think how it will work ingame because the hasty kitten comments are destroying a lot of players good ideas and bringing the game to its current state.
Spirit watch doesnt follow ctf rules. Like every conquest map it’s called “capture and hold” with a minor orb mechanics. Otherwise its map design flaws can be easily avoided.

I wonder why didn’t Anet add a recommanded tier 4 daily fractal.
Personally I find wells the best utility skills to use in dungeons and fractals with power builds. I can’t say the same thing in PvP but you can still use them to give your team some advantage in small capture points like temple and forest.

I was hoping that Anet will gives us the option to buy an item that resets WvW ability points without the need to create a new character and transfer all gear. A lot of MMORPGS have this option in their cash shop and it seems to work well for them.
I also hope Anet will include LW S2 as a bonus for purchasing HoT or at least include it it in HoT Deluxe/Ultimate edition to give it some more value.
Note that at least Agent of Entropy is repeatable forever, so what you are seeing is your progress through the next round of the achievement. It doesn’t award more AP after a while, but it’s still, y’know, an achievement.
Usually players check the nearly completed list to see which achievents are the closest to give them AP. There is no point for that one to appear after completing it because it will only take the place and make of another “almost complete achievement” and make players unaware of it.
About Agent of entropy and Hobby Dungeon Explorer achievements:
After completings these two achievemnts (250/250) and (200/200) they keep appearing in the Nearly compleated list without giving additional AP which is really annoying because it takes a place in the list without provinding useful information. Hopefully the team removes them from the nearly completed list after being completed.
The whole game feels empty both in PvP, PvE and WvW. The only thing that really changes with PvP seasons are numbers and titles, no real class balance or variety in builds and no real rewards for ranked play (PvP specific finishers, musical instruments, costumes, dyes..)
Anet seems too afraid to make big changes to the game and keeps only making small tweaks, bug fixes and more conquest maps, they should try making a PTR server to experiment with new things and see the players reaction.
The game needs an overhaul to some trait lines and abilities. We also need new game modes like CTF, recources race or MOBA style maps, even WoW with its outdated 2004 mechanics has more game modes.

Is it possible to add a sigil that grants 1 stack of stability for 1 to 3 sec on swap?
Btw, Sigil of Purity and Sigil of Cleansing are almost the same thing.
Yes please remove the aquabreather and convert the items into head armor.
If they make a poll, the majority will vote to remove it.

Remove life force degeneration and make shroud skills cost life force.
Shroud will become a real second health bar as people say and gives necros better gameplay while they try to make a balance between survival and dps.
Since the release of episode 1 in July 2016 we getting regularly one episode after each 2 months, if you do the math episode 4 should come during this week yet still no trailer or info about it.
I was expecting it to come with the dragonball event but.. still nothing yet.
