Hey im making the zap (bolt) achievement and i need to talk with the weaponsmith vendor to “learn” Balanced Sword Hilt recipe(after i gave her several items)
anyways, she doesnt give the hilt recipe :\

Personal option: Condi patch ruined PvP for me… Every game those days got like 3-2 condi users that just spam (not even knowing what their skills do most of the time) condis on u and u just melt.
while u condi cleanse skill got 40-60 secs CD their condi spam skills got at least half of that time so they just keep applying it without any skills …
I mean come on that fact u can apply around 2.5k ticks worth of condis every 15 secs on some classes its just so broken rofl

Hello, I saw The Hunter’s skin and its really amazing but cost a lot. usually pre weapons got “cheaper” version so people could get their skin for a reasonable price but not the hunter.. the only skin that looks like the hunter’s is PvP Plated Sniper Rifle.
but as we know, they changed pvp and u cannot longer get skins there.

My question is, is there any possible way to get it tho? cuz I STILL see people selling some pvp items like Paid Tournament Token etc.

Hey there, i started to run engineer lately in wvw (I did only in pvp till now) and as for a “blob” or zerg fightings build i made myself something good. but for roaming i just couldnt find anything rly :\
any tips?

If you want to get into selling, start with P2
It has easy skips and you barely need consumables if any at all to do it on any class
I think around 30ish min is an acceptable time for a stress free p2 solo, including a bit of kitten ing around if you want to
Money depends on how fast people buy/how much competition at the time you’re selling, it can be a kitten to sell more often than not which is why many I know have stopped/just give paths away to their friends these days
If you’re in it for the money, I’d suggest Silverwastes
If you’re actually considering it for the fun, the challenge and learning it, go for it, its pretty fun tbf, and a bit rewarding when people buy spots

As for classes, p2 is alright on any solid dps meta class (noteworthy that I think any class can solo p2), Warrior if you’re new, Thief if you’re bored, Ele if you are okay at Lupicus. Condi Guard does some of the bosses (lupi) reasonably fast and reliable, Engi is pretty neat.
P3 is easiest to do on Thief imo, but terribly boring, youre literally whipping 24/7 and you need the stealth to complete the wraith event at the end (or maybe you don’t and im just using outdated strats)
P4 is for when you’re REALLY kittenING BORED with your life and have nothing else to do, its also frustrating to get into, dont do it man, its not worth it (its not the hardest just annoying)
P1 is the same as p2 sort of classes wise but you need friends/pay people to help you complete the tar event, which in case makes it less profitable/take longer.

Yeah its pretty hard to solo the last boss alone, buggy NPC and it doesnt rly melt fast with full ZERK

The burrow pop-up frequency should be low enough to allow you to simply alternate between icebow 4 and meteor shower. Easy to remember, easy to pull off. If burrows are not destoyed with the one attack (highly likely after they messed-up with the scaling), do what bladex suggested and mix in some might stacking here and there. You don’t even need to get out of fire attunement. In case you mess up anyway, you still should have glyph of storms or the elite elemental to save you.
It may take a little bit of practice. Not only you need to remember the exact order of the burrows spawning, you also need to think two steps ahead when laying down the icebow so you don’t have to run around picking them up, but rather have them prepared just in front of a newly spawned burrow.
Also make sure you don’t cast the skill too early. Has happened way too many times to me.

Well I managed to pass it pretty easy, now i got to know – how do u solo the last boss ? its pretty hard when the NPC doesnt protect u sometimes :\

After the last balance patch downscaling is messed up tho, and lower level dungeons are a lot harder, so it will probably take you some practice

Its a little harder on warrior after the patch because the burrows dont die that fast anymore and you will spawn more gravelings.
Most important thing is to keep aggro of the gravelings and bring them with you to the next burrow so you can cleave them down, instead of them attacking the extractors.
You can use items like mortar turrets as well to help you with this

Best class is by far ele, running the standard staff DPS build. (see metabattle.com or Dekeyz ele guide)
You can probably make some changes to be a bit more efficient, but you should be perfectly fine on the standard build.

A useful thing to do is to stack a bit of might before each burrow to make sure you 1 shot them with meteor shower/icebow
I personally like to swap to S/D, drop a dragons tooth and a phoenix in my fire field and use my arcane heal and arcane wave.
That way I have 12 might, which is more than enough to make sure I oneshot the burrows, but I dont have to swap out of fire and wait for cooldowns

Dungeons don’t scale.
They are always scaled to a set difficulty that Anet thinks is fit for 5 players, reducing the amount of players actually in the dungeon does not lower the difficulty.

But honestly, you can solo AC story in 10-15 minutes, even faster if you do it in a group, so there isn’t really any reason to make other people hold your instance because doing story will save you a lot of time in the long run

When you purchase HoT, you receive a Serial Key. You can either upgrade and existing account or create a new account.

The only thing region-based accounts differ in, is the currency used in-game to purchase Gems, etc.

Technically, you aren’t selling directly to the other player. The game treats your offer as a listing that happens to already have a buyer.

If you aren’t in a rush, I would recommend looking up the trade history of bolt and talking to some market-savvy people about prices. If you are in a rush and want to avoid risking a long wait (or the annoyance of being undercut), my usual advice is to choose a price in midway between the highest buy and lowest sell offers — closer to the sell if you don’t mind some risk, closer to the buy if you do.

Heck, even just asking for 20% more than the highest buy offer is pretty good:

• Your net gold ends up being slightly more than that highest buy offer.
• If feels pretty good when you do better than typical sellers.

Hello, i’ve just crafted Bolt and im interested to sell it on the TP.
I know there 2 kind of fees;
1)5% listing fee
2)10% selling fee

I’d like to know if i sell bolt to a buyer (that already offered X amount of money)
if the fees will be 10% in total or 15%?

Hey there , i’ve been playing GW2 since the BETA and for the first time today i got a weird problem ..
We were raiding in FSP BL when my screen got frozen , i could still hear the ppl talking on ts but the game froze (i was checking task manager and no , it didnt not stop responding )

Since the season 2 PvE C*ap started , The game became unplayable

as a wvw player i experienced a lot of rubberbandings and the most annoying thing.. the game freeze and u cant cast skills , u can still walk but u end up dcing

now , ive been playing the game since the beta and as long as the problems didnt happen in wvw i didnt care at all

but srsly every god kitten patch since then the game becomes worse and worse

Absolutely nothing has changed for us except spacing out the blind and the fight takes 2-3 seconds longer. It’s still a 45 or 50 second fight rotation. Fight takes 10 seconds but you’ll need to wait about 35s after getting out.

10/30/10/10/10 with II / VI, X, XI / VI / II / I
Full exotic zerk armor with Scholar’s runes.
Exotic zerk weapons with at least a sigil of force. sigil of accuracy helps too.
Ascended zerk trinkets

Proper foods and a stacking sigil filled up from mobs below helps immensely. If you use Perception, go with a power foods. If you use Bloodlust stacks, use precision foods. Just make sure not to waste anything by going over 100% crit chance. If you’re there the rest should go into power. Don’t forget Right Hand Strength doesn’t display, and the 20% from Fury isn’t there until you use Save Yourselves, so 65% crit chance is the ceiling. Some might say this is overkill, but I like killing him before the first TP. You’re still getting in a fight a minute and the less time you spend in there means more time for other folks to farm with you.

Make sure to save your virtue until he’s about to use his Kill Shot. Throw Focus 4 in if you feel like he’s about to teleport, otherwise it’s not needed since the next auto-attack chain will do him in.

Yeah tbh I already got on a good wave , i kinda how how to spread the blind well but its still hard

i know thieves can still farm it without no problems

But what about guardians? i tried it and its very randomly … sometimes he doesnt even teleport , sometime he does that behind a mine means u can use ur own teleport to hit him…..

any tips and tactics as a guardian how to farm him now?

P.S. i got a thief but im not sure i should get a berserker set and stuff like that , it would cost like 25gold i guess , the question is .. is it worth it? or they r gonna nerf thieves now? =P
