Are you 100% sure? A friend of mine got one from a bl chest… maybe he was wrong, whatever.. maybe 1 in 100 000… and yes, i was also suprised to see it on page one … and i got that listed one a few hours later not sure if they come back in december or not ( like the halloween skins..)

I don’t really see the comparison to the last time. those knights were selling for like 1s each. You could forge thousands of them without a problem.

Scarlet and Caithe are >5g each. at 20g a forge you are averaging 100g per exotic. You’ll almost always come out with a loss. If people are selling minis for less it is because they are desperately trying to recoup some of the money they lost trying this.

Completely wrong, bid prices have been around 4 to 4.5g for many days now which is 16g a forge so you end up spending 80g for 5 tries and most of the time you’ll get a set 1 rare which resells back for 8g after taxes. You lose more like 40-50g per exotic (IF YOU AVERAGE 1 PER 5) but getting the Moa or Twisted wouldn’t help you and getting a dry streak of 30 would probably hurt too much.

I actually got a good 80 of these mini’s in one night for 3.6g each and make about 600g with average results but that was like a week ago when most exotics were 140-160g and I also got lucky and never got a Moa or Twisted exotic.

Thank god they did this. I took me a lot of work to get the crossing and mad moon last year and I was really hoping they would make it harder to obtain this year. Sure they may have gone a little overboard but it was a first year weapon and there should be some prestige to it. It shows that if you have one you are either a vet whole believed in the game early on, or you have dedicated enough time to the game to be an effective farmer. Either way I’m okay with it.

anet just has to /kill every omega golem recipe for a few days and everything is alright. they logged it, 100%. i got my gold from the elonian wine back, exactly the right amount, so they no who buys what and exactly when.

I honestly think the “placing order” system needs some kind of adjustment.

Mainly regarding the fact that, for example, you place an order of 100G for an item, then 1 minute later you get some yo-yo that places an order of 100G and 1 copper.

Another minute goes by, you see a string of orders that are each 1 copper higher.

Seriously, this is silly and childish, which is exactly why real auctions don’t work this way.

You won’t see an item at the bid of a million dollars receiving the next bid of 1 million dollars and 1 cent in any auction event. There’s some kind of minimum percentage one has to add to the current bid to form a legitimate bid.

I am hoping that something similar can be added to the “place order” system of the TP.

i observed 1 item a few hours, no price change, not even a few copper.
i made a buyorder, and ONE SECOND, and i mean 1 !!! secon later, someone places an order of 1 copper more.
that happens more often… kitten these tp bots.

Before Christmas, last year, there was an item found in the tp, “power trader” … acc bound. it increased it to 500 or so? don´t know. i try to find my screenshot.

I suspect the richest person in the game is probably close to this, but I doubt there are more than a handful of people with more than 20k gold.

The real problem is, that the mayority of people with more than 30k gold have exploitet various times, and i don´t know why anet doesnt ban them, i reportet more exploits and people thar are exploiting than i am able to recognize.

I hope anet has an eye on people with more than 100k gold.. but even they cannot destroy the gem market, for example.

what does someone pay if he buys a skin in the shop? 800 gems?
4g=100gems -> 32g=800gems
32g= 1 shop skin -> 32 000g = 1000 shop skins,
imagine 1000 people buy gems for gold, what happens? not an extreme change, only a few silver difference..

There cannot be “hard” quests in a mmo, because it´s a game, a game cannot be THAT hard. it´s programmed by a human and if someone figured the right way out, the “hard” quest is gone.

OP: My wife also has much better RNG luck than I. Of course, I understand it’s random, and one person doesn’t actually have better luck than another with RNG, but she gets BLSK with her daily reward pretty much at least once a week. She is consistently lucky and has stacks of the things, and I HAS NONES.

eg: ordering 3000 rares for the forge – no pre and the “yolo bangers” from my guild, that buy 100 greatswords directly and get dawn.

gw2 rarely bans people, and if they do, they don´t ban the worst, so it´s useless.
