I share the account with my brother and now our characters’ gold is combined through the wallet system, is there anyway to disable the wallet system or separate the gold for each character? we don’t want to buy another account
You are in breach of the User Agreement with account sharing, and we are not able to help you resolve issues on a shared account.
the whole point is being ban for something i didnt know. that is all.
Please, let’s discuss the full story: You used the offensive term multiple times on August 9th. And the names were all censored and you were reinstated, as we considered that block a form of “public education” about our Naming Policy.
Turning around and using the same term on August 21st was not a good choice. The names were censored and you will now serve a time-out because you have been sufficiently warned — through our published policy (which you accept before you join the game) AND through the first set of censored names.
For future names: Choose wisely.

Support will not get involved in these sorts of transactions. Protecting players form scamming is one of the primary reasons that the Trading Post was developed, and those who choose not to use it are in a “buyer or seller beware” situation.
You may report the player, if you wish. However, Support will not attempt to extract and return the item, because it is probably long gone and may now be in the hands of someone who has no idea it initially was stolen.
Please use the Trading Post in the future.
The name was reported. There is no “grandfathering” of offensive names, where we say “Aw, it wasn’t noticed for XX period of time, so we’ll let it slide.” Offensive is offensive.
The account should have been unblocked if, as it appears, this was your first offense. Only if someone accrues a second name issue would the account serve a time-out. I have sent over an email to the team to ask that they review and unblock.
There is no charge for the name change in this situation.
The name should have been accessible to you for 24 hours. If you are certain you are not misspelling the name, and that you made the new character in under 24 hours, you’re welcome to contact Support to ask about this.
This is not a game support issue. Please feel free to contact the forum team at Forums@Arena.Net.
I want to know if you guys know how to use a dictionary because you see my guardian’s name is Fraulein Fuhrer which loosely translates to “Miss Leader” or “Lady Leader”.
The name is practically a bastion for women’s rights and therefore human rights. Just because a certain word in a certain language has been tainted by a stigma does not mean that a word in and of itself is inherently bad. I’m of Ashkekitten Jewish descent for crying out loud! My grandmother just escaped Poland before the Blitzkrieg swept in. I don’t need others feeling offended for me, and I shouldn’t be punished because I used a the way it was intended to be used.
I am sorry that you are upset by the censoring, but I am 100% behind our taking that name out of the game. There is an unhappy (and unfortunate) correlation with between the word Führer and the tragedies of WWII. Your family history notwithstanding, 99 out of 100 players who see the name are going to think you’re referring to a woman who married the leader of the Nationalsozialismus or National Social Party, Adolph Hitler.
Out of consideration for all players, some of us must make a sacrifice. This is one such case, and I ask that you choose a new name — one that you review carefully, with neutral eyes — and move on.
This was resolved within about 8 hours of the ticket being submitted. Clearly, there is no need to turn to the forums for assistance with current issues. You must give Support time to work on the issue and not use the forums as some ill-perceived means of calling attention to the situation. There really is no need to do that.

Guys — we had some issues with karma, and we sent replacements or reimbursements to those who were impacted by that issue. This post will explain the matter and why we so generously gave you freebies.

Nope, i was doing the new update events, and it said your account is banned for 72 hours. And seeing as the same thing happened to him at the same time sounds like a glitch.
Your account indicates that you were reinstated — after using an offensive name — 9 minutes after the name was censored. If you are still unable to access the game, contact Support.
I was suspended for 72 hours without warning for a name change.
You used really offensive (and unquestionably offensive) names. They were censored, you were subsequently allowed back into the game. The process took five minutes. If you are still unable to access the game, contact Support.
Keep in mind if you choose bad names again, you will indeed serve a suspension.

We absolutely cannot see that your account was hacked. In fact, as Ellieanna points out, your account was not hacked, your entire computer was. And because we cannot accurately kitten the situation, and because sometimes such claims are made without merit, our position must be that we can establish without question that the account was indeed compromised. That is not the case in your situation, so with regret, our team cannot assist you.
This will be corrected in a game update very soon. We apologize for the disappearance of that cute little guy!
The account associated with this user name was hacked and terminated in September of last year. If you are the legitimate owner, Support will work with you, but you will need to prove your ownership of the account, which you will do in a ticket, not with rude posts in a forum.
Could you please provide the full error code? This will help the team investigate the issue.
My Mini Watchknight has disappeared as well. I have sent in a ticket as well, just hoping to hear some news on this.
Sorry to put this in someone else’s thread but I have also found that my Mini WatchKnight has disappeared. i have the achievement, and it was definately in my collectibles tab before the update, after the latest update it had disappeared. I have checked all my characters just in case.

The same thing has happened to me, I have checked all my characters and bank but it is no where to be found please look into this.
This is a known issue, reported in many threads. We apologize for this problem and we will be correcting this with a game build soon.

Torda — I just reviewed the ticket, and as you were told, the team has checked and double-checked and they’ve reviewed purchases all to way back to November, and they have been unable to confirm that you made this purchase. Purchases are logged in several ways, and no one is able to figure out how the logs would have failed in your case and no one else’s. That is why the team declined your request: There is nothing that shows the purchase. if you wish to continue to discuss this, you may reopen your ticket and provide any additional information that you are able to provide.
Note: The situation you described is not in any way related to the missing Mini Watchknight. That is an entirely separate issue.

Hey sfinlay,
Have you tried the steps on the sticky that Kyllaa posted? If you have can you include your System specs and what OS you’re running off of?
I believe Kyllaa is right on this. The features would require the correct drivers to run which would not be present in a bootcamp installation. It may be possible to download a driver version for Windows but I doubt there are any official drivers that would have been released by Apple.
Like you mentioned, the trait does appear to be working properly, but tool-tip shows the incorrect value.
I’ll get this looked at. Thanks for the report!
We’re aware of the text discrepancy. Currently, to unlock the achievement you must not enter downstate.
As Saucermote pointed out, we’re currently tracking the issue.

Thanks for the report, Lucky. I’ll send it in for review.

Typically when the first post in a thread is deleted, either by the user who created it, or by infraction from a moderator, the thread is removed as a whole rather than be left orphaned with no OP.
Highly rated posts is a bit of a misnomer (though don’t feel bad!). The page shows all of your posts that have been +1’d by anybody else in descending order from highest number of +1s. So, at least one person agreed with what you had to say for each of the posts on that page.
You can also make that page and the one of posts you have +1’d public through a setting in Edit Profile, if you desire.

Thanks!

Hi,
The WvW API is now fixed and should be fully re-populated shortly.
Sorry for the extended downtime, we should have caught it earlier. Thanks for the reports.
Horrors will only merge into nightmares when low on health. Try focusing them down one at a time.
Rambodacious.7495 – whoa! Talk about some awesome feedback! Really appreciate the time you put into your post and it’s constructive manner. Definitely not a waste of my time.
Phaeton.9582, thanks for the encouragement!
Balance takes time. Fine. But when you then release patches that have stupid unfun mechanics (fear/spirits/immunities/stuns/evasion) buffed to the sky then people hate the meta. If you werent aware that this meta would develop then you have bad testers. Most top players knew after 30 minutes with the dhuumfire patch that necro, spirirt ranger and sword thief were going to be a huge problem.
A good system would be to actually understand the implications of balance before you do it by having a good team procedure.
Your balance team is:
1, Always behind the curve in a way in which other developers of other games are not.
2, Then too slow to respond to issues when they arise. And you are talking down to players saying “You dont understand how it works” or things to that effect. To alot of us this isnt just a game. It is a community. It is like a football team you support. You cant change supporting it because you are tied into it. We are tied into this game by time investment and by the relationships we have established whilst playing the game. So you might think we are an unproductive ignorant bunch of whiners and sensationalists. But we aren’t. We are just people who are tied into something which is sinking fast. GW2
Thanks for the feedback! I’m sorry if I came off as condescending, that is actually not at all what I meant. What I’m trying to do is help you guys to understand how things work here, and why things are done the way they are done, and how you can help if you really want to. Please don’t misunderstand me, or the rest of the team for that matter.
We’re just as much a part of this community as you. We all play the game, too. We try to be as involved in events as possible. If those efforts go unnoticed, fine, but you can’t say that we don’t support our community. That is just wrong, just like this statement “you might think we are an unproductive ignorant bunch of whiners and sensationalists.” – We don’t think that at all.
Well, regarding the story: someone (I think it was Colin) said that this update would knot the plot threads together from previous installments of the LS. And then we get a reassuring message from Bobby saying that even though we have shown you nothing, he’s certain that the villain will have some motives … in the future… sometime! Just you wait!
Only thing that was “revealed” is that Scarlet is behind all the attacks, and that she’s some kind of technical genius. It’s not quite what I was expecting from a storyline that was supposed to tie up the previous threads together.
I don’t recall saying that everything would be tied up by August 20th. Can you refresh my memory?
as of big patch, personally i just want to get ride of this current stat of pvp asap, so i can play this game again..
For sure, I can’t say we’re entirely happy with the meta right now either. Changes are coming.
Or, sometimes you are told exact examples and you reply with “Sounds….random”.
Hahaha oh come on, that’s no fair. I posted that too quickly, yes, but what I said wasn’t exactly wrong at the time I said it.
Regardless, I talked with the team about it and the issue got fixed. Chew on that!
:D <3
Hey Corian.4068,
Just wanted to say that we really appreciate you taking the time to give us your constructive feedback. I’ve passed this on to the PvP team, and points you have brought up will surely be in our discussions on future implementation.

i’ve heard that PvP balance team are not balancing anything because PAX is going on and the patch after PAX is over is not big balance patch either only the one after is a big balance is patch true.
There is no “PvP balance team” – there is only the balance team.
Yes, they are not going to make sweeping changes to balance before PAX. That is not completely because of PAX. Also, bigger patches don’t always equal better.
That’s not to say that certain things should or shouldn’t be adjusted, btw.
Get into the game and play it, talk with ppl in the Mists (if you can find anyone there) there are dozens of threads in this subforum with detailed feedback, videos, screenshots, practical examples and some suggestions too.
I don’t understand why you keep asking for constructive feedback have you read it all already? if so, i’m sure you won’t need any more…
So, I shouldn’t promote constructive feedback because of why?
Do you want us to actually fix the problems you are having, or do you want us to just wing-it without knowing what the actual problem is?
It’s completely your choice to use hyperbole and not be constructive, but don’t expect us to read your mind or understand how to fix the issue if you don’t give us any detailed information regarding it.
Yes, there is constructive feedback. However, if we get 1 constructive post out of 10, how do we know that it’s a real issue if those 9 posts don’t actually give us any information?
Ok, now which is it? I have 3 different people saying that fun means 3 different things. This is what I meant when I said fun is subjective.
To some people, it’s fun to knock people off the edge of skyhammer. To others, it’s fun to be matched up against equally skilled players. To even more, it’s fun to feel like you’re great at the class you play.
In allocating resources to Esports, I think he means the fairly large focus on the PAX tournament (although he might have slightly exaggerated it).
As for fun, I think he just means balance, and, if you saw his post from last week about spam, and the post that was on the same line of thought that I put up recently about skills being used more tactically and strategically than they currently are.
Sure, except the PAX event is being mostly managed by our events, marketing and community teams. No resources are being taken away from development for PAX.
As for fun, we understand that balance isn’t in it’s ideal place. This is why we have a balance team that focuses completely on balance. Time is needed to balance, it can’t be done at the snap of a finger.
Firstly, we have no qualm or rivalry with Helseth.
That aside, I have some questions, and would like to address some other points made.
1. What exactly do you mean by allocating resources to eSports?
2. What exactly is your definition of fun? Fun is subjective, no?While we definitely appreciate it when players are vocal and provide feedback, excessive hyperbole does not help us to understand the fundamental issue.
Some more points:
1. The current meta is not controlled by the PvP team. Yes, we monitor it closely as balance greatly affects PvP. However, no resources are being taken away from PvP development in order to do balance. So I’d like to just squash that misconception now.2. Skill effect clutter – another thing not controlled by the PvP team. Another thing that we monitor and provide feedback to the teams that do control it.
3. Sending out in-game mail is not as easy as it sounds. Keep in mind that every message that is sent has to be edited and localized.
- This is, however, something we recognize as an area to be improved. We are investigating ways to provide in-game messaging for events.
4. Lastly, I want to thank you for promoting the guildwars2pvptv channel. I always see a few people on the team with the stream always going on their 2nd/3rd monitors. Once PAX has past, we’ll be looking to better promote streamers from all areas of the game. So keep it up!!
ok so basically everything that is wrong with the game is not your fault. There is nothing at all under “control” you simply “monitor” thats cute!
I guess it is ours then! this meta is the worse EVER and i believe we all agree on that but it is ofc the players fault for playing the extremely OP professions that YOU made.
This is the excessive hyperbole that I mentioned in my post. You have every right to complain, but we can’t really understand your problem unless you actually provide some constructive feedback.

Thanks for the information! I’ve passed it on to the CS team, they will take care of it from here.
If he is actually under the map attacking people, that is considered cheating.
I’ll pass this on to our CS team, thanks for the report!
