Seems pretty obviously unintended considering you can still 1-shot him in phase 2. If they were going to “fix” anything, it’d most definitely be that.

Realize that they don’t want to just make his projectiles unblockable because that negates the entire value of those skills against GL, but it’s not as simple to somehow make the skill unable to reflect his skills on a wall. That’s a much tougher problem to solve than making his attack that he uses work in melee. It’s really impossible for us to determine intent here.

It would be very simple to fix. Just make it so the walls in his arena can’t have skills target them like half the walls in Arah leading up to Lupicus.

I agree its more reliable, but is it not just a case of if you take damage to soon just drop the orb? Reset go again till you don’t It’s hardly it’s deal breaker if someone wants to learn to solo stuff

I don’t know why you put Guardian here since he’s on a warrior and that’s the profession I was talking about.

Miku use a Cleric Greatsword and Mango Pie to get througt it while saying that it’s not necessary to use them, but if you don’t you need to reach perfection to actually do it. Did you try running that without any cleric gear? That’s freaking hard and you fail more than you get it. Running it on a warrior wihtout any cleric gear is a nice challenge but you don’t do that if you try to learn how to solo (it gonna take you enough time already) or when you want to solo it to sell it.

Even on the guardian. You are always safer you use some cleric pieces to give you some room for error when you run solo almost everyday.

The Guardian video was aimed @ you because you said “I solo more on my guardian” so I thought it may interest you as were saying “in Path 3 you need some cleric gear to do the orb portion.” .

While I do not normally play warrior, I thought before I start saying I was wrong. I would go out of my way to see how hard it is to solo orbs without Clerics gear. Using just a Mago pie it took me 4 attempts I then did it 5 times in a row without failing to check I could do this consistently I am in no way perfect, so really it’s not that hard as long as you follow the guide.

I tend to carry specific slayer sigils for day dungeons and fractals put them on top of my undead weapon sets such as wrath, frailty, justice, mad scientists and of course undead

While I agree after the tar p1 is the most simple of all paths. Half the time getting to the tar and killing it without having half the dungeon pathed/pulled towards you in an lfg team makes it less desirable then p3 .

Arah is like top dungeon skill(outside fractals) so it can take a while to master it, you can create your own LFG with “All welcome” and spedn good 3h in there (i recomend jsut do p1 and p2 daily).
meanwhile do arah story mode to unlock sPvP reward track and get those skins/tokes.

In regards to posting an lfg saying “All Welcome” or “I have 0 experience” I would never suggest for someone to do that. While i wouldn’t say post and elitist lfg either posting that sort of lfg attracts the worst kind of people and will make the experience much more stressful.

If you go down the root though learning while playing the lfg try to at least have (a non magic find food buff) and a undead slaying potion. Then at least if someone is trying to help you the at they will know you put some effort in.

I also disagree with RSLongK.8961 when he says start with path 1 and path 2. In my personal opinion Path 1 and 2 skips are a lot more unforgiving to new players while path 3 is a lot less skipping and the bosses are quite simple. cough “don’t aim at the hunter”

I agree with Taku.6352 answer but would also add maybe go view some streams of people doing it on twitch.

Yeah but then you have to ask yourself are you really better then person who used consecrated ground? I still do it because well I like to fight lupi but really shouldn’t have to force people.

I would think it is just an easy solution of lupi shadowsteping out of the wall every time he is pushed in. Everyone still gets there reflects and everything is balanced phase 3 becomes more interesting with pugs

I only have problem with the usage of Fiery Rush to the walls. The “meta” is to have 2 eles for FGS. Thats why you should ban the usage of it, in this way. They only pick the 2 eles to have the FGS.

The fact that that message was directed at someone from Riverside made me giggle, then laugh and made me laugh enough for the tears to be flowing over my cheeks. I’m not even kidding, that’s what really happened :’). Riverside is extremely blobby and if you are roaming as one player you will get kicked in the face by the 8 players that are camping every camp or the 80 players that run around the rest of the map.
As for FURY, if a solo player comes near them, they will chase him and kill him, as they have proven many times.

That is somewhere far in the history, you’ll only see me around the windmill when I’m in a GvG myself.
I’ve seen you chasing down single or duo targets countless times, and even though you will probably deny it, [FURY] is just another loot-hungry guild who forgot what they transferred for: fights. Another things that proves you don’t really care about the fights anymore is the fact that you have at least a dozen pugs following you whereever you go.

Maybe but old habits die hard… as you are bringing up gvgs what happened last time our guilds had one even numbers? and I have seen your guilds highlight videos hardly one to speak

Riot runs a lot in blobs too, only guild I’ve seen running around alone most of the time is FIRE. We (MM) had organized gvg vs FIRE.

Someone enlighten me why this is still 100 gold and not 10.000 badges of honor for example. (or anything earned through WvW)

I see little need to do that because it would = affect in negative light badges of honour need to be reviewed in my opinion because they drop to little in a day of intense fighting would say on average you would get 100 badges. so that is like 10 arrow carts for a person that plays wvw alot that is noting forcing you to spend gold. which likes be honest the loot is not great + repair bills. so the only option is then go to jp puzzle right. which everyone would farm to get com tag and there would be even less siege and the fact that siege is not account bond you still have to drop it give it to a mate is just a joke. and why is wvw is so often in the monthly why not just let it have its own like hotm

I have full set of TA ammor + Sword all depends how much you’re team works together like any other run. knowledge of the dungeon is key to success. As well as condition removal it would seem if you refine the runs can make it 30 mins a run with out any deaths I would not say it needs to be changed but you need to look for a way to run it better

They did make a post to another topic about an hour ago CC Eva’s reply to Kvothe do not think there just ignoring us just a bit swamped trying to work out the fix I would imagine. Maybe no update because no process but am pretty sure they do not to lose customs who are obviously so passionate and will probably spend money on bank slots ect. as for what happened still confused but have seen quite few posts saying they where lagging bad anyone else here experience so really bad lag witch forced them to reset router last night?

Yeah think its an error on there part and due to how quick this is growing would think a response would be coming soon and unlike but would think anet may need to give out some compensation.
