They are already calling the expansion in other sites “GW2 Hearth of Robbery”lol
I remember when leveling was a joyful experience and you where rewarded for your time spend. Now is a boring race to reach level 30 to gain your “FIRST TRAIT” and hope you have enough enthusiasm to have a fully functional toon at level 80.I can’t wait to entertain cows in Queensdale when Hot launches.
I am running at 60 fps without slowdown and no antilasing on.

Is a bug caused by the new update making others players saying random nonsense from the other races
Yes since the update all my toons are suffering the same bug.I just log out i cannot play like this.
Oh my bad i was watching the 3 minutes trailer.><

At around 0:45-0:48, one can see a character wearing light luminescent armor who emits a wave of light similar to the activation of Virtue of Courage or Selfless Daring. Few classes can apply aegis to themselves, and -as far as I know- the only class that has that “light wave” effect are guardians. So, unless there’s something I’m missing, this leads me to believe that it’s either a guardian wearing light armor (which seems improbable), or it’s an ele with a light-based attunement.
Thoughts?

How is my daughter going to face the Claw of Jormag when she is only level 18 Anet?
She won’t have that daily. If you have accounts with low level characters only you get low level dailies.
I just check his account and the highest toon she had is level 41.Now the new daily is sending her to Southsun Cove again another level 80 zone.
How is my daughter going to face the Claw of Jormag when she is only level 18 Anet?
My daughter new ranger is suffering the same bug.
We are the chosen ones.
Braham Eirsson: Yeah! We’re Tyrians. And we don’t like getting pushed around.
I don’t need a pre made history,my actions define who i am.
The only people who get to gain with this update are the Gold sellers, like i said to others people today this is the beginning of the end.

Plz tell me is still alive, because this Norn must survive no matter the cost.
The reason because bots and gold sellers don’t last long in Queensdale is because the champ train. The vermins still try every friday until monday.
I have a question.
In I am in a zone that is full, and I waypoint to a nearby waypoint in the zone, will I risk being ported to overflow server when doing that?
Yes
NO you are so wrong. I do it all the time, it’s only if you switch zones/ map/ enter instances.
My personal experience has been when SB is about to spawn,so teleporting from Claypool waypoint to Swamplost Haven waypoint get me in overflow.
Because Charr are what we are. Enemies on all fronts? Stretching across the entirety of the globe to defeat a seemingly unbeatable enemy?
VICTORY OR DEATH!
I may be wrong, but I recall a jail in Wayfarer Foothills just south-east of the Hero’s Moot Waypoint in Borealis Forest. I recall killing a SoS inside a jail cell there by shooting at him through the bars. He respawned a while after.
I don’t think it is a jail, but just a cage at best.
I think that’s a lionguard run haven actually, so it’s not Norn jail.
Though there is (IIRC, in every majory city jail) a joke with a norn in bear form, typically drunk, sitting in a cell.
Can human characters smile, more, like silvari do?

Make no mistake the Asuras are the villains of the future.
I been working for different companies regarding security and i can tell you pvp always has the worst communities.
Queensdale Champs train is the best for karma
I have a question.
In I am in a zone that is full, and I waypoint to a nearby waypoint in the zone, will I risk being ported to overflow server when doing that?
Yes
4 Bots and the handler in Hoelbrak now
Make no mistake those guys you see using third party programs are only interested in stealing your account.
You cannot live life through the eyes of others people.Do the one thing you think you cannot do. Fail at it. Try again. Do better the second time. The only people who never tumble are those who never mount the high wire. This is your moment. Own it.
This topic just make me realize how much i miss my old ranger.
I don’t like having to beg others to carry me through content. If I can’t do it alone, then I just won’t do it.
But you don’t have to beg.
It is an mmo, not a solo game.Going on to main map, and saying, ~want to x dungeon, first time in it~ Is not begging, you’ll often get a couple of other who, it’s also first time for. And maybe one or two, that like the idea of running through it with noobs, who will often take it easy and take their time or what not.
I think by not involving other players….you’re missing the point of an mmo.
If I have to engage other players to help me do content that I’m too weak to complete, that is, essentially, begging for a handout. It doesn’t matter how neutral the request is worded, it’s still begging. I would rather endlessly fail or not even participate in the content than to kiss the boots of four other players. I like seeing other players in the game world. I just don’t like grouping with them.
I am cheering for you Elbegast keep moving forward.
Thruln the Lost is a jotun storyteller that can be found in the Great Lodge.
“My people have walked these mountains since before the humans came, since before the gods put limits on magic, since before the dragons slept, since the Age of Giants.”
Player: Tell me about the gods.
“The gods once favored the giants, the jotun. They gave us magic and blessed us with knowledge of mechanical and magical things.”
Player: What happened?
“The gods threatened to take magic from us. They were afraid we would use it against them. Our confusion was great, and the jotun kings began to fight among themselves.”
Player: And then?
“The gods became unhappy with us. They took magic away from us and handed it in measured bites to their favorite races. My people have been sliding deeper and deeper into darkness ever since.”
Player: Tell me about the arrival of the humans.
“The humans came in boats from across the great water. At first, they kept to the shores, but then they spread across the land and into our mountains.”
Player: What then?
“In the beginning, humans lived like grawl. The gods had not yet noticed them. Their magic was primitive: fire, earth, air and water. My jotun ancestors helped them survive.”
Player: What happened next?
“Humans collected on the high plains. Tribes became settlements. Settlements became a kingdom. And that was when the gods noticed them and betrayed the jotun.”
Player: Tell me about the dragons.
“Stories of the ancient time of dragons are rare, mostly forgotten. When I was young, an old jotun came to our fire, and told us about a time before the dragons slept.”
Player: What was it like?
“Magic was wild. The dragons were merciless conquerers. They had the entire world under their talons.”
Player: What happened?
“They went to sleep, and the surviving races rebuilt. My jotun ancestors formed kingdoms. Giants, like the jotun and the norn, grew powerful. The chaos was tamed—until now.”
Player: What is the Age of Giants?
(to norn character)
“The Age of Giants was a time when all the world’s giants ruled Tyria. Your people, my people, we had magic like you will never know. Wherever we walked, the ground shook.”
Player: “My norn ancestors too?”
“The other races looked up to the norn and the jotun. We were superior to all other races, and we were gaining on the gods.”
Player: What happened?
“The Age of Giants ended when magic was stolen from us. You norn turned to your Spirits of the Wild to redeem your strength and self-respect. We jotun have had no one and nothing to pull us from the quicksand.”
(to non-norn character)
“It was a time when the norn and the jotun were not like you see us today. Our kingdoms were the most advanced in the entire world. We protected and defended other races.”
Player: What happened?
“You won’t understand. We had everything taken from us, and in out confusion at the betrayal, we lost all hope of ever being the great culture that we once were.”
Player: What about the norn?
“The norn have come far. Their Spirits of the Wild returned much of their dignity, heroism, and power to them. They are what I wish the jotun had become.”

I’ve been trying to make a cool looking charr that stands out, I used to use the tier one armor set (which I really love), so I made this charr with some HoM stuff and made his teeth completely oversized lol. I didn’t like the helmet though.
What do you think?
You only need a few more flames and you are all set up
I don’t like sylvari that much (although my lvl 22 Engi is sylvary) Because of OBVIOUS reasons – those two potheads that everyone hates – Scarlet and Trehearne, I cant understand how can just 1 race of 25 years old can have such 2 disgusting and hated characters even the kitten Faolain is better and more interesting than THEM. I propose to make sylvari leave tyria
All things have a right to grow.
Pls Anet no more betrayals in this game.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder….here’s my human char.
