I think this would only work in PvE as it did in GW1, not PvP, WvW (GvG/Alliance Battle etc.)

I agree, I would aswell have our own characters as our partymembers, so the ’heroes’ will be our own characters.
For an example.

My main, mesmer.
Therefore my Warrior, Guardian, Ranger, Elementalist etc. is the ’heroes’/AIs.

I support this but I doubt we’ll ever get this in GW2,

YES! I would love to see our next expansion as based on Underwater content!
ANet needs to start fixing the things these anti-underwater players dislike and make such a fuzz all about.
Personally I don’t really understand why they’re complaining about UW. Sure it’s different and not all these ’META BUILDS!!1111’, but the reason why people dislike UW is that it’s different. Sadly we don’t get to see that much UW content these days and it’s a shame!

ANet, make UW great again! Please, please, please don’t throw the whole idea of UW content into the trash, aswell the Deep Sea Dragon. I am def supporting for more UW content/expansion!

If you havent finished HoT story, I would say- start there, if you are of course into lore and stuff like that. But doing so it’s a great way to learn HoT and keeping up with the story which will make sense if you play it in order.
If you are only into PvEing, try start in the first HoT-zone, Verdant Brink. Run around and do events, join other for Meta-events and kill map-bosses.

Yeah, I heard there was some fuzz with Zojja’s VA, quit the role as the voice of Zojja or money problem between VA and ANet.
Then again, this is just rumors....

If the VA has any issues or too busy or have indeed quit the role, they can replace her with similar voice or completely different as a side-effect from the jungle pod.

I hope to see Zojja back in action soon enough, hopefully in our PoF expansion.

I just love how the Nightmare Court uses their unique skincolour, armorcolours and their overall look!
So I’ve copied most of the Courties aswell such as Wardens too.
I like it look ’’natural’’ / as the real life in Tyria would’ve look like.... not dyes like Permafrost or other superneon candy dyes that is hurting your eyes, lol.

So for those who has NOT completed the HoT expansion, do not read any futher. Though my title is kinda spoily but oh well.

From the events from HoT where you had to choose to rescue Logan or Zojja, but no matter whom you save first, according to the Living World Season 3, Logan’s rescue was canon and he recovering just fine from the jungle pods.
Or if it was not canon, Logan might just recovered much better and didn’t take much damage from the pod where he was trapped in as Zojja did.

I’ve been playing the story quite a few times- mostly to compare things such as this, and whenever you go after Zojja first and rescue her, she seems to be OK, minor issues but overrall OK.
We haven’t heard from Zojja since the Events from HoT.
We know Logan is doing fine now.
The Pale Tree is better aswell but she’s still recovering, thanks to the Side-Events.

During one of the LWS act, ’’Research in Rata Novus'’, you can hear gossip among researchers in Rata Novus that Zojja is "scrambled" and "drooling".

When will we actually see, visit, hear from Zojja how she’s doing?! Is she dead? Is she suffering from major brain damaged from the jungle pod? Or is her brain too scrambled??? Is she even recovering?!
ANet!!!! Stop throw away NPCs like Zojja, she was after all a huge main character and one of the Destiny’s Edge’s member along helping/mentor to all Asuran characters and to Taimi.

I hope the Gryffin will make it to the game’s expansion release,

I agree with this suggestion!

The underwater content was one of the main reason why I bought GW2 in first place, and yes I am a GW1 player aswell.
I would really hope to see underwater content and fights more soon! Hopefully in our next Expansion....
Since I like the underwater content, I cant wait to hear or see more about the Deep Sea Dragon, THAT has to be underwater..... otherwise.....

Spider mount

Greetings Tyrians,

As I was comment on another thread, which mount I was looking forward to.

The one and only mount I was looking forward to was the Gryffin, (Owl-looking flying(?) Mount) as can be seen in some leaks videos.
I’ve also read that there was 2nd removed mount aswell, the Spider mount.

Why was these removed?! The Gryffin and the Spider would be so much better and cooler…. than a giant bunny or a Raptor……..

If this is requested enough by the playerbase, will ANet consider to re-add these mounts again?
For those who somehow dislikes Gryffins or Spiders, just dont use them. Let us who likes then use them! Everyone will be happy!!

So I am on halfway to completing my last Leystone armor Collection, which is the Heavy one since I took a quite a break from collecting the HoT armors, but this is the last one, finally,

I’ve done the HoT story on 9 or 10 characters already, but sure I can do it till I have the full armor aswell but it’s getting boring after so many times.
So I was wondering, one of the last chapters before you’re entering the Chasm to find Mord, Bitter Harvest will show you an achievement if you succeed to avoid getting attacked by roots.
I’ve simply ignored it sometimes playing with my alts cuz I just wanted to get it done already, but now I see it will give you quite a few Crystalline Ores anyhow.
Since I’ve already finished Bladed armor I do no longer need to save for Airships parts.
Meaning I can buy the remaining Leystone chests from the Vendor.

So, my question is, are you able to re-play that chapter with characters who have already completed the HoT story but failed to ’achive’ this achievement or are you able to re-play, re-play and re-play it on the same character? To farm Crystalline Ores.

I’m not sure if I understand what you actually mean.
There was indeed lots of Elonian hairstyles + Livia’s hair from LS season added.
If you mean similiar to Livia’s hair, where you can have one highlight then yes you can, not sure if there’s any other hairstyles but Livia’s hairstyle you can have ’’accessory’’ highlight.
Example: Blonde base hair and blue highlight.

You will not. If you purchase it, you won’t get any more Character Slots, and will have to contact the CS Team for any possible refund of Gems for said Character Slot(s).

Hello adventures across Tyria,

I have a question regards the Path of Fire Preperation Pack from the gemstore. It says I can buy it 2x times but I’ve already maxed out my character slots to the max which was 71 slots back then.
Now with the PoF pre-ordered, I’ve got 72 slots, since PoF pre-order gave me 1 character slot.

So my question is, if I buy this Prep Pack, will I able to have 2 extra slots if I buy this packed twice? (it says I can only buy it 2x times)
How many character slots are you able to have currently? Since there’s no single character slot purchable from the gemstore for me anymore since I’ve already maxed them out, hehe.

Has anyone tried this whom has 72 characters slots before purchasing the PoF Prep Pack?

I re make-over a few of my characters into Elonian, and I have to say I really love the new hairstyles and some of the faces!
Here’s my Elonian characters, from top to bottom names:

- Kormir Ascension, Warrior. (Human god cosplayer)
- Barbara Axinite, Necromancer.
- Cynthia Peridot, Engineer.
- Aiden Hematite, Revenant.
- Tanya Melanite, Guardian.
- Faramir Serendibite, Mesmer.

They’re all level 30 - 40, so I still have to level them up abit before I can take them to Elona, once the Expansion’s launch.
Since I’ve created Elonian along with Ascalonian and Krytan characters, I want so badly Canthan faces and even more Asian hairstyles now than ever!

The old LA was OK, but I like the newer one alot more, really beautiful and with all the greens.

I do not think LA will get destroyed ever again.

I think each expansion will have their own dragon.
For this upcoming expansion, we might even know more about Kralkatorrik! As we head more to Elona.

Perhaps create one of those ’’Currently Events’’ as you did with the Pale Tree, that was so wonderful thing and something extra for us, specially Sylvari players to see their mother is recovering well.

It’s sucks to hear that the VA haven’t got anything new from GW2, which means no Zojja for a while...

I dont mind it. But seeing the leaked Elonian maps, they are pretty huge, just only 1 map zone, and with lesser WP on our newer maps it will make sense to have some sort of mounts on these Elonian maps.
Since we know so little about mounts in our upcoming expansion, we cant really say we hate or love it already.

Another complication that a new race brings, aside from having to re-create all existing armor skins for it, is that it increases the time that it takes to develop new armor skins.

Currently every armor piece requires 30 different, although similar, skins (race *x* armor weight *x* gender). A new race would add an additional six skins needed for each new armor piece (36 for a full set). They’ve said that creating armor skins is already resource intensive as it is right now.

To you and everyone else who’s argumenting regards the armor part with Tengu.
We’ll never get armor parts ever again, not from gem store nor from the actual base game anymore.
ANet said that armor will only be released within expansion packs. A few armor pieces such as gloves, helmets and shoulders are indeed released in gem store and through living world, but not actual fully armors.
Now, since they’re not really creating fully armors nowadays, this could be a nice opportunity for them to re-skin and re-model all the existing armor to match Tengu bodies.

To me, a new added race would be something fresh, something new, something many of us has been requesting since year 1.
The Quetzal (HoT’s Tengu tribe) was literally a huge improvement comparing to the Vanilla Tengu NPCs. New bone structure, additional face details and higher texture to their feathers.
This could be a good thing whenever ANet will decide to focus on Canthan story and it’s expansion, and lore. Since we all know Tengu is Canthan based creatures and since we know so little about them ANet could really create something nice from this.

Since we’re going to Elona in our upcoming expansion, I am hoping for our 3rd expansion we’ll be heading to Cantha, that will include Tengu as playable race and we’ll learn and even meet the water Elder Dragon, Bubbles.

I have 70 character slots, it takes time indeed to level them all up.
So far I’ve got:
27 level 80 characters
8 level 60 characters
35 level 40-30 characters

I don’t think we’ll get increased character slots from a Living World episode, even if it’s the season finale. The upcoming expansion however, I am pretty sure it’ll get increased, indeed.

Or.. why we did get character slots increased with HoT could be because we did get a new profession. So maybe our upcoming expansion, or even our 3rd exp that will include a new race or professions... who knows,

It looks indeed Orrian buildings, specially these not sure what to call them, but circle buildings are def from Orr.
The boat though looks INDEED Canthan ship!

Eir was my favorite of the Destiny’s Edge and her death was really lame. She wanted to face Jormag! Not a random creature in the Jungle.

I’d like to see Countness Anise along with Lady Valette to join us in combat.
I wished Logan would also join us since he is OK.

I was hoping for a Spear-on land weapon for either Warrior or Guardian, as Paragon ES or Lancer ES.
But NOPE...!!
I was so sad to see none will get a Spear weapon now that we’re heading to Elona.

I really wanted to Spear (spear+shield or just longspear) would have make it to this expansion, specially Paragon... it’s just meh to me now..

And I have 70 characters, so I’ve used quite alot of gemstones

For the first names, I simply uses my favorite characters from other games.
Such as..
Michelle, from Tekken.
Kael’thas, from Warcraft.
Aaragon, from Lords of the rings.
Pamela, Posion Ivy’s name from Batman.

I love it! Love the preview window and everything else, it feels new and fresh with the new UI interface!

I’m sure that we’ll get another level 80-booster, just like we did get in HoT exp. Not because we did get a new profession, but as you wanted to play with a profession whom you haven’t leveled up or an alt yet to explore Magus Falls and Maguuma Wastes.

The boost didn’t actually launch with HoT, remember. It was just as much a promo/teaser for the Shared Inventory Slot as an incentive to buy HoT, so one question is "do they need to market those more?"
