Hello all,
I’m looking for a replacement for GW2Score.com’s embed WvW scoreboard. For a website.
Currently its acting a bit wonky but I’ve been looking for alternatives for a while… it seems that GW2Score is the only one that does what it does.
Anyone have any suggestions or know of any?
Is it possible that server populations will be adjusted or moderated?
They said during the live stream that there will be restrictions but what about people who create multiple accounts and taking advantage of it all…taking up space on multiple servers.
Hello Everyone,
Currently it seems GW2 Score is the only site that supports and embed code to place on websites for the WvW score.
Does anyone have any in-house or know of any interesting embed codes people can use on their guild sites?
Thanks for the response, I was advised to do that when I first noticed the skins & items missing.
No response still…but I guess you’re right. I probably shouldn’t buy anything else.
Hello,
So I’ve begun to notice that I’m missing skins from weapons or gem purchases from a while ago!
I’m sure they are on some log somewhere of my purchases. I have pictures of a few!
But I’ve begun to notice that there is more than a few. And now I have to go out and either re-buy them or they are gone forever. Its frustrating!
Worse…I’ve put in reports and waiting months now…Is this what I have to expect from ArenaNet/NCSOFT when they patch the game and break something attached to my account they won’t recover it?
Is anyone else noticing this?
YB acts like a big family.
We have our creepy uncles
dysfunctional cousins
aunts that sound like they smoked too much in high school.
Stoner grandpas
And that one guy who stares at you from a distance…thats me
How do I reeech these keeds
I don’t expect to see a tournament too, because people have asked for it and anet doesn’t need money of the server transfer at the moment. I mean, as wvw-player you know anet. It will be annouced in that moment when you don’t need this.
Lol true…and living world (Or the expansion) launched during to make it complicated. Just kidding.
Simply put the population on all the servers is either “Very High” or Full. Pretty soon we won’t be queing for BLs but queing to get in game lol.
Add 3 servers problems solved.
Staying in an ultra populated server it’ s your decision…
Enjoy the 1 hour queu. You deserve itSuggestion : change server and move to a less populated one.
For the record I did.
There is no Ultra populated There is “Very High” and “Full”
Out of the 20 servers, 5 are Full…the rest are Very high, up until a month ago a few others were flashing full, mighta been a bug since I’ve never seen Ebay Full.I also didn’t know they could raise the caps, well I hope they do something before HoT.
Actually, they not only can raise the caps, but also lower them – and do it individually, per server. That’s why most of the servers are showing “Very High”. Not because there are lot of people on them.
Thats interesting, I did not know they do that.

I’d be surprised if we don’t see a tournament soon. With their dev team focused on the x-pac there won’t likely be much new content in the near future, so I expect we’ll see some recycled content such as WvW tournaments or festivals to keep us busy in the meantime.
That lunar event was odd.
But WvW is seeing a rise in new players interested in WvW not just Edge of the mists. We are also seeing Chinese guilds coming to NA and EU servers and destroying us all. I really want to see a tourny just to see an upset…
I’m a returning player…returning and spending moeny on new skins and armor sets. The first thing I notice is that the outfits have changed but for some reason I no longer have a plethora of things that I also bought with gems!
I’m seeking help on possible solutions or if someone in support can help me that would be appreciated. I’d hate to buy something in the future and it get lost just because…and then I can’t get it back :<
Forget what I said lol
I’m changing this because it seems like simply adjusting the caps will help. So I guess my concern is more about adjusting the population caps.
(edited by Arthxaiz.5947)
I just hope it starts soon because many of the servers are getting full…or close to
I’ve been away since before the last tournament. Maybe a dev will come down to answer or someone can fill me in if it was announced.
When will the next Tournament be? Last year there was one in the spring and Fall. And the Spring one started on March 28th.
I’m honestly hoping one of the T1 servers (BG/JQ) have a fall from grace moment…
And one gets accidentally knocked down to T2. That will be a huge upset
But im probably going to be waiting forever lol
I’m not a forum frequenter but this is the only time I will say this.
Next Time pick a better time to release living world.
Living world content may not effect servers with high pops…but for those of us with medium populations and trying to hold our place in the ranks…it effects us alot.
And this is the third or fourth time this has happend.
I know I’m just one guy, and I’m not saying its not fun. But the timing could not be any worse on these Living World Releases. And it has to stop now…
Please move these dates to another day like Thursday or atleast wait till WvW seasons are over.
Its like running two events at the same time, One for WvW and another for PvE. But most folks will go to the PvE in this game, not that I can blame them, the PvE stuff looks cool and shiney. But dangit the timing is bad for WvW people who dedicate their time and life to defending, offending and commanding.
I’m not just speaking for my server, but I know other servers fill the ripple of it as well.
I transferred to YB a while back and have been loving it since.
An interesting fact to me, is that if you look at the past for YB in WvW they do not really move up and down on the chart yet still have great fights, great competition. They don’t have huge exoduses that plummet them down dramatically either. And if people transfer off they either end up coming back or another guild shows up to replace them.
The PvE on YB is amazing with a well coordinated and time zone considerate force who is almost constantly rolling.
And when it comes to tournament time, the people in PvE are not just achievement hunters…ours know their stuff, contrary to what anyone says. And we become a real pain for the enemy.

Yaks Bend
Who We Are
In the Fall of 2013 we transferred to Yak’s Bend, starting off with a guild of 10 people…and ever since we have grown and have been taking keeps with small groups and giving hell to our enemies.
Our Goal
We are trying to grow an already hardened group, a battle experienced force that is looking to not only add more to our ranks. But grow into a community of friends. We are such a tight group that many of our members have gotten married, had children and mourned losses together.
We want people that will not only play with us in this game but if we branch into other video games. And We are not trying to be a guild of hundreds of people who don’t know each other and where your voice can’t be heard.
We are trying to be a guild of players who know each other, die for each other (in game) and help each other.
We trying to build, not a guild, but a community
What We Do
Currently [HvC] is a guild that trys to enjoy all aspects of the game! WvW, SPvP and PvE
WvW – We run havoc groups. means we have a party of a few that will ninja large objectives, distract zergs, and roam maps…in all sense of the word havoc.
SPvP – We love to organize build consolidation and of course pwning noobs in Team Tournaments.
PvE – We enjoy taking temples, organize dungeon runs, and of course doing fractals. We do this so we can supply our guildies with armor, gold, and it helps build our team.
What You Will Get With Us
- A Great gaming community, even outside of Guild Wars
- Scheduled events every night
- Great knowledge that we are glad to share.
- Our own PvP arena
- Friendly people
- Guild Missions
- Guild Boosts [+10% Magic Find Boost, +15% Karma Boost, +5% Supply every night!]
What Our Requirements Are
- To keep up with our guild events we ask everyone to register on our website:
[HvC] Website
-Easy way to keep up with our guild schedule and to keep up with major guild news. - Joining us on Our Teamspeak
- TS3 is our main VOIP. Not only for GW2 but for other games we play. - Representing our guild 100%
- Why? Because sadly this game allows you to join up to 5 guilds; we of course don’t mind a bank guild that you use for storage as long as you revert back to representing us.
- With representing comes the guild buffs and helping us gain those buffs with influence from representing. It is also a personal investment of time into the guild…you don’t have to give us gold but some of your time is all we ask.
- Without representation you don’t get those buffs…you won’t be able to keep up on announcements…and you won’t be able to hear what the guild is saying…and you are not putting your share into the guild. - Communicating with us.
- When building a community, you must - Showing Maturity
- We have a sense of humor, most of us are drunks. But we do not tolerate disrespectful tones, and of course…the color Beige.

In the Fall of 2013 we transferred to Yak’s Bend, starting off with a guild of 10 people…and ever since we have grown and have been taking keeps with small groups and giving hell to our enemies.
Currently [HvC] is a small WvW focused guild of 40, we use havoc group tactics. Which means we have a party of a few that will take large objectives, distract zergs, and roam maps…to cause havoc.
But we not only play in WvW we do SPvP and PvE as well. We have our own SPvP arena and encourage build consolidation…meaning we will help you build your character so you can play like a pro.
And on the PvE side, we always succeed in guild missions, we pwn dungeons and occasionally lead Temple pushes!!
And right now we are currently looking for fresh faces to join in the fun!! All classes and all ages are welcome.
However we are looking for certain people who will follow our rules and requirements such as:
Representing our guild 100% anywhere and everywhere!
Registering on our website and setting up Teamspeak!
Being mature and not bringing in external drama.
If you are still interested please visit our site and register

All the commander tag is at this point is a waste of 100g as I can lead without the tag. However the potential can still go further.
When it comes to the commander system, there are so many things that could be improved.
We need a better way to improve functionality and organization.
In WvW typing “/supplyinfo” is ok but if there was a more instantaneous button (Which in turn will help newbie commanders understand) it would help.
And a larger radius to count from. Asking people to stack on me takes precious seconds (Especially when certain people don’t know what that is and they have full supply) If it was a full 1200 radius it would be improved.
When it comes to organization, I need to know who is in my squad or who has supply in my squad. Or even more important where everyone in my squad is.
9 out of 10 everyone in my squad is in the same voice chat and guild but It will still help organization. That way when I ask “What is your location” or “Where?” I know where.
A commander needs its own chat channel in both WvW and PvE – Or its own separate color where people will see its a commander talking, clearly, and no one else. As well as no longer limiting the amount a commander could speak. Sometimes I would be telling people what to do in the team chat then I would have suppression during a crucial moment.
A commander also needs a way to stealth/hide the tag. It will separate a public commander, from a private commander. Where a private commander will lead the same amount of people but under the radar…since more and more spies are being used in WvW…having under the radar commanders is more convenient. And to that being able to customize the tag as to what his priorities are might help more.
For instance: an Offensive commander would have a CrossSwords for a tag, a Defensive commander will have a Shield tag, a Roaming commander will have the regular Blue tag etc etc… The server I’m on, some commanders use their tags as a point of them tracking enemy movements in WvW or even a rallying point where people need to be!
It will allow people to say “I’m the defense commander for this BL or keep while you take stuff offensive commander” Better organization.
The commanders need their own server based strategic and cross map chat that they can only see when tagged up. So they can type to each other without all back clutter of map/team chat. It could allow them to communicate across maps.
(Or just allowing chat channels to be created by users would suffice)
A commander needs a way to alert every player except the enemy to rally at a fixed point. The commander placing icons on the map only helps for those in the squad. Which is fine, but those icons are not good if they can not capture the attention of players like pinging on the map.
If a commander could do a ping on the map that every friendly player could see it would help out some.
In PvE a commander is the focal point for an event most of the time. Guild mission, Temple, Boss…what if the presence of a commander influenced rewards (just one commander) what if it also influenced the boss to aggro to that individual as the commander is “the head of the snake” so to speak.
I don’t PvE much but it would be interesting to fight a boss that takes that into account.
In PvE a commander is necessary for guidance. That is why in PvE there needs to be some way for people to find a guide easier than looking on a mini-map. Maybe a way in the LFG finder to find people that are tagged up and join their squad for events throughout the world. And when the commander is tagged up, they must title what they are tagged up for or their tag will automatically track the current or most recent event they have done while tagged up.
Squad List – +
Simple enough…we need a visible list of who is in each squad.
It will look much like the simple party interface which is without portraits but it will show their level and class. – As a commander there could also be a supply count in the same bar showing how much and at the top of the list show a total of supply.
Making the “/supplyinfo” command useful for roaming commanders who have no squad or dedicated group to be in.
The Squad list will also give the location of each member in it, each member will be apart of their own party. And the Commander can replace, organize, kick, and prioritize each party and member to his/her liking…even sorting each member by class/level/rank
I can keep going on lol.
I think all of these changes are great, and like most games class changes are never permanent so I at least want to thank you devs for taking your time out to change the classes…and let us know what we are in for
I only wish mesmers had a choice of other colors for their attacks instead of pink.
And that certain classes get more weapon choices.
As you guys focus more on support, if other classes had certain weapons like focuses or warhorns it might add that or help the balance.
Especially to offset the other classes like the warrior who has a wider selection to choose from
Because if that was the case that could…change some things too.

Does transferring at this point only give you credit for the original server you were on during that season?
And does it still go into effect into the next season?
We have some late transfers into our guild and no one is sure if the credit for the server they are on will effect them in JUST this season or going into the next.
I apologize if this is in the wrong section.
Check for all the ones that have been added. Off the top of my head:
- There is a relatively new one in Divinity’s Reach, The Dead End. Eastern Commons near 5 o’clock outside edge of outer wall.
- Gate to instance area (Cragstead) just north of the portal between Wayfarer Foothills and Diessa Plateau.
- All the Guild Rush / Mission start points (these added waypoints….don’t know if any added PoIs or not).
- Chantry of Secrets in Bloodtide Coast (this needs to be entered outside of the story mission to pick up the PoI inside there).
Most of these post end up being the Chantry one (I thin it’s the ONLY instanced area that has a PoI in it and it does NOT show up on the main map of Bloodtide Coast).
Ive explored the chantry. As well as the others orders. All of DR. but this one POI eludes me as well as this dang achievement.
A new one was just added today, in Kessex Hills, as well. If it’s not one of those above, it’s probably this one
Just went out and got those two.
Hi I’ve been trying to finish world exploration…and although I got the nice star, and gifts of exploration…
However, this aggravates me…trying to figure out where am I missing? to get the achievement.
I’m only missing ONE Poi in all of the game…But I can’t find it.
I’ve hopped to each map to see if they have a missing POI as well and found nothing.
Any Ideas?
Here are some images:

(edited by Arthxaiz.5947)
I’ve thought about this often…
But it seems that world population is more of a natural thing that seems to fix itself. Guilds transfer. People quit.
However it seems the only way world pop can be “balanced” or “fixed” is to add something(s) Maps, 3 new servers maybe…either way without adding or being more strict on server transferring…World pop will act more like a force of nature…
Or like a blood clot.
I fancy the idea of in WvW: removing the more PvE aspects like Centaurs and Skritt and replacing them with different objectives or ways for the defending BL to manage their areas.
In wvw to put each Jumping puzzle either in their own realm or combine them with the Eternal Battle ground realm so they can be cross traveled….Or just make one super Borderlands Jumping puzzle. and rid of the other JPs.
I know this might sound drastic but some games have PvE servers…
Hello,
I don’t visit the forums often, and although I don’t fully understand this post since its mostly us suggesting. (when there is a suggestion forum) I shall throw my hat in the ring and hope for the best:
1. The world around me – I want to be in the story… to have my character immersed in a war, being a pivotal cog instead of a zombie in a zerg of other players pushing one objective to the next before the timer goes out. zzzzzz.
My suggestions…force the hand of the community to step up more, drive pressure in an area…when Scarlet pops up in Fireheart Rise. I want her to take over a fortress, and the longer the community allows her to entrench herself on that map the stronger her forces become on it. She will begin to setup and take over outposts and roadblocks. conforming locals and bribing guards to her cause…If she takes over that map…her forces will spread to one of the other maps near it..with her minions coming from the portal. Even fighting other enemy npcs like centaurs or dragon minions (with that other map still locked down by her)…I know some might say its drastic but in my mind… “I can’t do CoF without beating this evil woman back to where she came…FOR TYRIA!!” that sounds fun to me.
when Tequatl used to be a zerg hit and run accident it wasn’t fun. But making it more complicated and forcing the community to actually interact with it more made it more fun. Forcing the community to beat the boss before time goes out made it more fun and worth it. So would forcing the community to play its part instead of sitting at a waypoint…zzzz’ing till Shatterer lands…not even helping with the pre-events. and letting others do the work. make things better? In my mind it is.
Lets put that into LW.
2. Um…aren’t there dragons? There are 6 dragons. Zhaitan, Kralk, Jormag, Primordus, Jungle dude, Deep Sea dude.
As far as end game goes…I’d rather want to face the pre-ludes to the others than Candy corn monsters. I mean Zhaitan is undead…Halloween and Zombies go hand in hand don’t they? Christmas? Slap a beard and santa hat on Jormag and lets go!
I honestly yearn for more content evolving off of my story but not dealing with my story…
Joke inc “Why did Zhaitan have a candy corn sugar rush? Because it made him feel alive” BWAHAHA!
Lets put it like this: A Prelude is something that leads up to. But the dragons are already awake. So how about an attempt to conquer from them…the dragons may be an all powerful force of magic consuming devastation plagued on ridding existence of all inferior life as they see fit…but they sure do like to take a back seat. Like a stoner in the back of the class who knows all the answers….hes not doing anything!
I’m sure I will think of more things as I go…
But thanks ArenaNet and Devs for trying to hear us out.. I hope we made this easier than you hoped lol.
Keep up trying to do your best!

[HvC] is still recruiting. We are still transferring people over but we are also looking for people constantly.
We are especially looking for some awesome Elementalists and Necromancers!!!
you shall be our best friends!
HAVOC CORPS.
[HvC]
A Yak’s Bend WvW Havoc Guild
————————————————————————————————————————
What is Havoc Corps?
We are a group of players that enjoy working behind the scenes of the main zerg. Our specialty is moving fast, hitting hard, and doing the jobs no one else can, will, or think of. We pride ourselves on improving our characters and our tactics. We are a Hardcore WvW guild.
Where we located?
We currently reside on the great Yak’s Bend server. We are newly transferred and growing fast among their community.
Do you have a lot of players?
Quality > Quantity – If we can have 5 people in a party take on a group of 10 or more and wipe them with no issue. Then having 10 of us should equal 20 of them. Our goal is not to have a huge player base, but instead an active and quality driven group.
Do you guys only WvW?
No! WvW is our main focus but occasionally we will need to farm PvE or practice in SPvP.
You guys sound way serious!
Thank you! but we do this in the long run so we can have fun. This is fun to us, being in a mindless zerg and being another number is boring. We are pretty laid back when you get to know us!
Do you guys have requirements?
Yes we do. We ask that everyone is 100% representing the guild why? so that we can perform 100% in WvW. (Having plenty guild siege, having the needed buffs and upgrades going at all times).
We ask that you can join us on TeamSpeak, even if you can’t talk, at least listen. Why? So you won’t die, and so you can catch up. Because we don’t type often so for you to stay in the loop, we require you to be in TS3.
We ask for maturity, we love a good joke, but we don’t tolerate drama or insensitivity. Preferably 18 years or older
How does one join?
1.Download TeamSpeak, our VOIP
2.Be On Yak’s Bend
3.Contact (Mail/Whisper): Jaicen, Yusah Stabmuffin, Uber Stylo, Jinokisan or Randlarr in game.
4.Be ready!! You will receive a lot of information at once. (Yak’s Bend likes to stay organized!)
5.CLEAR YOUR LOOT BAGS! YOU WILL NEED IT!

I’m very curious to hear how the upcoming WvW changes is effecting everyone’s server? Good or Bad?
On mine people are transferring to others in masses.
Is there some place where we can see the matchups…before they happen?
I’m bored too, and its becoming more often.
Regardless of winning or losing…I’m not having much fun as I used too.
Feel like WvW needs some fresh content, not just a new map…cuz that map will get old fast.
A feature I loved in some other games was creating a large party (squad or platoon) out of multiple parties…being able to kick a party or dissolve the Large group into smaller groups.
I feel it will help out a lot more when it comes to be organized…just having a chat wont really help
I guess a more decent example would be:
Sorry if this is already suggested :<
When I’m playing another MMO and die…I spend 5mins looking for the waypoint
When you see a fire in real life and yell “BLAST IT”!
When you see twins and hope one wont explode. Dwayna help me if its triplets.
When you start running and say “I’m faster than a centaur!”
When you avoid going into the pool IRL because MY CLASS SUCKS UNDER WATER!
Partying with an enemy server in WvW is like two sides of a coin. Sometimes its good, sometimes its harmful. I don’t know how people do it though.
Sometimes people join my party to share a build to improve each other..most the time people troll or complain.
On stupid occasion they join a commander’s party or join a party that might refuse voice chat or something…and typing all their movements…which happens unfortunately.
Or the one that makes me laugh, people that are “friends” on different servers and use each other to give “silent hints” like: “We gonna wipe your garrison”. Could be false info..but I have had the laughable pleasure of being in a party with such a person.
There are other situations but those are the ones that happened while I’m in the party.
Hammer has an immobilize. A Cripple would kind of make it more like the Warrior’s hammer skills. Kinda…
But Id love to be able to target where I use Judge’s…
Guard does need more mobility, without us having to spec everything into it…just for a long swiftness buff.
A passive removal of 2 conditions every 5 seconds is way overpowered.
And that’s not only a significant buff (which means improvement, FYI), but it’d also be the best passive condition removal in the game. Currently, it’s 2 conditions every 10 seconds, you would be halving the amount between the ticks. Considering that most conditions specs run conditions that last longer than 5 seconds, it’d be a pretty heavy hit on those.
As for sacrificing? It’s a freaking Adept trait. Even if it was a Grandmaster trait in some otherwise useless traitline, it would still be way too good.
Guardian is already the tankiest thing in the game, they don’t need to be freaking invulnerable.
I’m not seeing your point unfortunately And that is exactly my point…to make the Guardian “tankier”.
The Guardian is not invincible or invulnerable.
How is removing conditions over powered? Losing conditions does not make the guardian more powerful…if anything the Guardian must be specced into the trait to get it. So if, to your point, they DID move it to the Grandmaster…at that point they are 30 into the Toughness tree…and isn’t the point of the toughness tree to be “tough”.
and if in being the “tankiest” class in the game…why bother allowing other classes the ability to out tank it? And yes other classes can be tanky as well…but notice when any class becomes tank they lose out on attack power…so for someone to get the mentioned trait, they must sacrifice power…
Meaning they can be tanky all they want, still won’t make them more powerful.
But to credit your point, yes it would give the Guardian more “tankiness”.
However I’m sorry, I’m not seeing how it would make the Guardian “Over powered” it would make the class more resilient to condition duration…not burst dps, not the condition damage that is applied. But just the duration.
The Guardian will still be able to die, but not easily to being bombarded with tens of conditions at once.
Please explain how it is “Over powered” or would make it “invulnerable”
The trait is there so you can use shelter as your heal spell.
It does not give condition removal, with a duration of 2seconds and a heal of only 4,555 the best this skill does is allow you to run away! or maybe fight a little longer before inevitably being downed.
The 2s duration of blocking does not block conditions. So multiple bleeds on top of burn, on top of burns, on top of torment, on top of confusion, on top of poison…etc
won’t block those. So the damage is still stacking and that’s fighting a Necromancer, excluding burn.
Or fighting a Thief…or a ranger + traps or depending on pet..or a Mesmer’s trait that allows its shattered illusions to apply a random condition, so a Mesmer that runs around the Guardian just spawning illusions will do all of these.
And to my point the 10 second being reduced when these two are in tandum will mean the Guardian will have to sacrifice somewhere.
Fighting a Necromancer, excluding burn, which will lay conditions I can remove. but will constantly apply them. Even with my shouts removing conditions or myself getting boons. With the constant applying of boons + the necro running around or gaining more “Life Force”…the Guardian is easy pickings for a necro.
Thief, most being practically perma stealth now…with a constant barrage of dual pistols laying down cripple, caltrops laying down bleeds, venoms causing their conditions (skale doing torment)…the Guardian won’t move fast enough to take the thief down, unless it uses meditiatons. (Like I said sacrifice somewhere)
But that’s just my point of view of a fight.
(edited by Arthxaiz.5947)
It’s probably the most over powered heal in the game… on a GUARDIAN… and you want to buff it?!
Actually if you ever play against a thief who heals off of bleeds, and of course with “practically perma” stealth. They are almost invincible. While constantly stacking bleeds.
+ being healed when going into stealth.
And its not buffing just reducing the time by 5 seconds. An improvement not a buff…it already gets rid of a condition.
Its not the most powerful heal btw. lol a decent one but not the most over powered.
I will also add that with the addition of Torment which does damage while moving…a thief, Mesmer and Necro can use Torment .
So applying a simple 5second reduction…while having the two on at the same time…is probably just a small boost. As all of the classes mentioned can, in some way find a way to constantly stack the conditions…especially a necro of course.
Now in terms of shouts, where we have a 20% reduced cooldown on shouts with a certain trait and in our last part of the same tree being able to turn a condition to a boon.
Still does not do it justice as once again, the classes mentioned can constantly stack conditions. So even with the boons, the conditions will constantly be there. 6stacks of bleeds vs one regen boon. or 10 seconds of re-accruing cripple or constantly having binding roots vs 2 seconds of vigor.
And the heal from applying boons to allies.."Empower being applied to myself gives me a small amount, true. But Empower leaves me vulnerable…where that stack of might will leave as soon as the other classes cripple, then constantly apply conditions…
But that’s just my point of view.

A Guardian is my main character, as such I can only speak for my Guardian when I suggest these.
I feel like Guardians are not as “tanky” as they could or supposed to be, still.
- Guardians need reduced incoming condition damage and/or duration. With the addition of another condition, some classes; especially the Guardian need some way to offset the damage.
Something different would be a trait that forcibly makes the Guardian immune to a constant condition or can only get one stack of a certain condition. No Bleed stacks.
- Guardians need easier mobility. Although I can get around on my Guardian with speed boons, they do not last long enough. And compared to the know “sprinting” Warrior, we move slow.
- Change our Virtues:
Inspired Virtue can be changed to instead of giving those buffs, or in addition to, the passives of those virtues also give an extra boost under certain conditions.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Inspired_Virtue
Example:
Resolve: regeneration + %25 boost to movement speed – this will sort of make Guardians chose to use this virtue or not in dire situation. (Sort of a Run or fight scenario)
Courage: protection + .01 Reduced projectile Damage based on Power – Why? Because the Guardian is toyed with in a skilled ranged fight.
Justice: might – +.01% to Boon Duration based on Condition Damage
or - The Trait “Stength in Numbers” – can be changed to give a 25% movement speed.
Or a speed percentage based on current toughness.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Strength_in_Numbers
I did some off the head math for this but. If it adds a 0.01% to movement speed per point to toughness.
then .01 × 1,500 toughness = 15% boost to movement speed.
On my Guardian, his current toughness is 1,991 (yes I know I’m pushing 2k) but more accurately it would be a 19.91% movement speed boost.
Of course when the buff activates; movement speed won’t matter too much because combat slows a player down but, with the trait activated. My toughness will go up by 150. giving me a 21.41% movement speed boost; in that regard If I was built for survival this would be good for running away and escaping.
There would probably be some offsets as well.
Example: The boosts can’t go above 25% and The toughness given by “Strength in Numbers” can be reduced to 100-125. Or that in itself can be based on level range.
Since you have to be level 30 to get that skill tree:
30 to 45 = 60
45 to 55= 80
Why the jump? usually at this point in PvE or WvW the player has many skills to use + skill points. The boost will be needed for better combat, to keep up pace with others and stronger NPCs. Weak gear as wel.
55 to 65= 120
65 to 75 = 140
75 to 80 = 150 (Why the minor boost? At this point the player will or should have exotic or stronger.)
